Okay, I know that there is a crapload of radiation zones on Earth, so I have an idea for you all.

A cult following a man that went into the radiaton zones , lived there for who knows how long and came out changed. Not sick, not dying. But healthy, except his skin turned red and he emits a soft gold glow, accencuated by his gold colored trappings.

As it's my idea and therefore my storyline, I'll be playing the part of the man and the three core cult members: The High Priest and two of his monks. You're characters can either be new members of the cult or people happening to find the cult, outside an unnamed dead city.

Nation of Origin: Unknown.
Occupation: Leader of the Cult of the Angel
History: Before the change is unknown. After the change the Angel appeared to a group of nomads who became his first followers. Soon he had the following build a small settelment, where they sustain themselves and worship him.

Name: Richard Catoran
Title: High Priest
Nation of Origin: Baggera
Occupation: High Priest and Advisor to the Angel
History: One of the nomads, Catoran was the first to follow and therefore had the highest rank. He allways is in attendance of The Angel, when the man is about. In private, he advises the leader on the food production and the morale of his followers.

Name: Donk
Title: Monk
Nation of Origin: He forgets.
Occupation: Monk of the Cult, Field worker.
History: Spending most of his time working the fields, which are his pride in life, he was one of the nomads, used as a brute by the others in fights. Now he uses his strength and his less than average attention span for the community, spending hours in the fields working, ignoring most other things. He is the most blind follower of The Angel.

Marthe Abriel
Title: Monk
Nation of Origin: Crimmond
Occupation: Monk of the Cult and caretaker of the flocks.
History: This monk is female, yes. The Angel doesn't believe in segregating her to being a Nun or teh like. She was a lone wanderer and fought for survival for many years of her life, killing more than a few people. She now is caretaker of teh flocks of sheep. Taking care to breed the sheep properly, she makes sure that wool is allways availible for clothes and beddings.

Seems interesting, count me in.

Name: Laura Sinclair
Title: EHAV Approved Explorer
Nation of Orgin: Gnufasur
Occupation: Explorer/Freelance Mercenary
History: Shortly after receiving her EHAV Approval, Laura has left her island home and now wonders the world over, taking jobs from various governments she meets in her travels. Currently her travels bring her to this place, and having heard of the Radation Angel, seeks him out....
Appearance: She has short scruffy blue hair and black eyes. The fur on her ears and tail matchs her hair. She stands about 5"6' and is of a slender build.
Other Noteworthy Info: Besides a steel broad sword she had acquired somewhere in her travels, Laura carries with her three flares, a .44 Magnum Revolver with Speed loader, a serrated combat knife, a couple packs of RadAway and one Rad-X pill.


Oh umh... Would like... The current government or whoever's in charge have any reason to... Want him dead? Also, my char is a Neko, or catgirl. Not a furry, mind you. Mostly human, with some cat-like traits. Namely, ears and tail.

Fallout is a close guess. This is based loosly on Wasteland. The Apple 2 and DOS predecessor to Fallout.

Gave us such quotes as: "The game of High/Low is played with two nuclear warheads. Both players toss a warhead into the air and the one whose bomb explodes higher in the air wins. The game is usually played by people of low intelligence. Hence the name High/Low." :D

History: As is typical of new young minds, Amber Fotheringown is an extremely capable and bright scientist and researcher, who's roaming the world to broaden her scientific horizons. Generally hires out her services to the highest bidder, though once a significant scientific challenge is presented, she generally forgets about it.

Background:A government scientist of Gurguvungunit, Dr. Davidson was dispached with the task of studying the 'Radiation Angel' to see what allowed him to survive in a high radiation environment for so long, with no physical detriments. As a high profile scientist of the Gurguvii Navy, she is accompanied by a one man escort.

Title:Captain, Gurguvii Marine Corps
Nation of Origin:Gurguvungunit
Background:Captain Whitters is a decorated Marine officer, having served for three years aboard the flagship of the Gurguvii Second Fleet. He is skilled in both armed and unarmed combat, and is currently guarding Dr. Davidson on her mission to discover the secrets of the 'Angel'. He, like the Doctor, do not know what use the Gurguvii Admiralty has for the information, but Whitters has his ideas.

There is no storyline yet. It's what's above.

A small community of people worshiping a guy that can survive a city that was hit by one or more nukes. Hell, I'd be willing to give him a week of my time. So long as I have hair at the end of it...

History: A once devout Diplomacy Officer to the Fodian East Theocracy, Jakishi is now a raving lunatic. He was wed to the Heir to the Fodian Throne, Nokona, yet had an affair with her Half-Sister, Pheral. Out of a jealous rage, Nokona sent Jakishi off in a Diplomatic Shuttle to some land of lore. His Shuttle was trapped in orbit around Earth for a decade exactlly. By chance his Shuttle was disturbed by the Abyssians. Upon rediscovering life, he went mad. After this breif scuffle with the Abyssians, his Shuttle wound up on Earth once more. Stark raving mad, vengefull, and over again Stark raving mad, Jakishi is a full fledged Psychopath. The whole trauma surrounding this is very Soap Opera-esque, but can be simplified into a math problem if asked. Story of Jakishi rediscovering life. Background:When the Olympia was destroyed in orbit of Earth by a Neo-Atlantian doomsday weapon, several parts of the ship managed to reach the surface without completly incinerating and keeping some life intact. Oran goes "by-the-book" with situations, which can occasionally get him into trouble. He is 67 Terran years old, so he looks to be about 33. He had a wife, but no children.

Background: The brains of the group, this guy is the reason these dysfunctional Atlantians have survived the last few months. He had a family with kids back home, and is always working on ways to get home. He is 50.

She believes is where she is from. Her past is a mystery to her, for she has forgotten everything about her and those around her. Everything she experiences is a thrill to all of her senses. It is believed she might be an elf because of the points of her ears and her exquisite looks. (More description if I am allowed in the thread.) She also has some powers of manipulating nature, but she doesn't really remember any of them, they happen by chance, especially when she is startled. Another quality of Isabella is she does not know fear and this sets her apart from other people with amnesia. She stumbles unto this cult and is searching for her destiny and herself mainly.

Are you guys finished with the signing up?, i know i'm quite new to this forum and my posts are quite low but i have been on NS for ages and have role-played quite a bit in my region. I also love creative writing, if your not allowing any more just say but here's my character i thought of.

Name: Samael Quigos
Titles: Guigos
Nation of Origin: Covarium
Age: 19
Location: None(wanderer) - formerly resident of remote village lands of Covarium.
Appearance: Fair hair, 5,5, brown eyes, generally scruffy but youthful.
Background: Samael Quigos was a young village boy of the Covarium peoples, at age 15 his homelands were bombed with nuclear weapons and subjected to intense radiation experimentation as a test. Guigos was the only survivor of his massacred peoples', he vowed to find who was responsible for the murders of his friends, family and loved ones and avenge there deaths. Ever since then he has wandered the remote desert lands in search for truth and answers and for the one whom they called 'The Radiation Angel' and join their cult in search of vengeance. Since the destruction of his peoples' he has survived by working as a small-time untrained mercenary, working for bandits and rebels in the desert.

I haven't mentioned any 'Earth' places on it because i don't know what the deal with that is.
