“Good evening. I’m Lüret Sun and you’re watching Edölia Today. Government officials met in the Scandavian city of Copenhagen today to meet with representatives from the Imperium. Government insiders say that the treaty marks the start of a new era of closer Scandavian-Edolian relations and stems from the current reevaluation of Edolian alliances in the wake of the split with the Free Republic of Ilek-Vaad. We’ll bring you more on what is being dubbed “The Treaty of Copenhagen” as information becomes available.”

The Treaty of Copenhagen
The Imperium of Scandavian States and the Socialist Empire of Edölia hereby declare themselves friends and allies and agree to the following terms of this treaty of peace and friendship
1. Both signatories of this treaty shall pledge themselves to the mutual defense and protection of the other when attacked by a third party and neither nation shall be a target of aggression, military or economic by the other.

2. Both nations shall, in the event of a ballistic missile endeavor to defend the other from harm with the use of anti ballistic missile weaponry, both Earth- and space-bound.

3. The Imperium of Scandavian States agrees to an elimination of tariffs on Edolian computer and electronic goods, as well as the elimination of tariffs on pornographic materials. The Socialist Empire of Edölia shall be given the trade status of a Most Favored Nation.

4. The Socialist Empire of Edölia shall likewise grant the Imperium of Scandavian States the status of Most Favored Nation, along with all the benefits that this status entails. Furthermore, the Socialist Empire of Edölia shall, upon the scheduled upgrade of its Imperium battle tank force over the next ten years, enlist Scandavian military contractors for components. The Socialist Empire shall also purchase Scandavian radar packages for the improvement of future military systems over the next ten years.
