Alexander stood on the open doorway of the Jason Voorhoosen helicopter, the wind blowing in his face, his arms crossed, only a simple belt preventing him from tumbling out into the Haven Straights. He smiled happily as the helicopter passed over the majestic hanging bridge structure. He had to admit it, it looked better now than in any of his sketches.
A peerless miles-long structrue, the bridge seemed too light, as if held up by a web of silver, the tips of it’s columns poking through oceanic mist, the whole thing like an endless jewelled strip from horizon to horizon. The chopper flew over the bridge, lettting be seen the road that it covered, like a symbol of the thinking, creating mind that let it be, defiant among the waves. It was beautiful – as if the Nauglamir fell off the sky and into the waves.
Alexander Kazansky smiled grimly. After his first few designs, his engineering talent became well-known. Everybody in the nation wanted to have designs made by the Allanean President. He was now free to pursue his art. And as any true arist, he dedicated his masterworks to someone he loved.
