We would like to extend an offer to host the inaugural Basketball World Wide Chamionships. We have a multi-million dollar facility with the latest technology, lavish corporate skyboxes, comfortable theater style reclining chairs available for even general admission and other amenities. Think of it as the LA Forum on steroids.
We also have a large practice facility adjacent to the sports arena for the convenience of the other teams to practice. Accomodations will be provided for the teams that are competing and transportation will be included. Gambling is legal so you can imagine betting on the games is encouraged. We hope you consider our offer and allow us the privledge of hosting the games.

Will a stadium equivalent to the size of Madison Square Garden be eligible to enter to host? Hockey Canada is not a basketball nation, but the ice surface can be easily converted into a basketball court.

I'm the only one that's volunteered to host the WC3 for basketball, and I haven't had the time to develop a scorinator yet. So my suggestion is that you go ahead and do whatever you planned on doing, just call it the World Cup 3 and use the rosters and sign-ups already posted.
