All Mercenary Forces ATTN FT

A small area of static lit up the screen as a picture slowly formed, the communication array burst into life. Upon it a young terran female stood, black hair with skin as pale as the moon. Lifting up a data pad she recited a small statement for the Inter Galactic community.

This is an open broadcast to all future tech mercenary forces. If you would like to be paid outrageous sums of money, and like a spot of fighting to foot, please feel free to visit a small station in the Balain sector.

Every Nation is welcome to put forwards a mercenary representative, as long as its on behalf of a rogue mercenary force not a government.

From: Mercenary Colonel Jake Tanner, Command, Iron Brigade
Subject: Mercenary Work
Message:
This message is in response to your request for mercenaries, the Iron Brigade consists of a brigade of combat experienced, well trained, well equipped troops complete with our own troopship, dropships, four frigates, and two destroyers as escorts. Tell us what the job is and our fee can be negotiated from there. Also, the brigade is already in transit and should arrive within a few hours to the station.

A Few hours later

As the mercenary ships arrived in system, a small station no larger than five hundred meters could be seen suspended in the void.

The docking beacons constantly blaring away would guide the mercenaries towards the ports while inside one lone human female awaited.

Sending out a small transmission she welcomed them. “Iron brigade welcome to my humble establishment, please dock at port two and we can discuss certain arrangements once you board.” Closing the transmission, she pulled up certain files on her data pad, well it seems the ESUS has become very inactive on the Galactic scene. Musing to herself she wondered how the trading alliance would fare once their convoys were repeatedly ravaged. She needed to gather more forces, more mercenaries. Her employers did not tolerate failure.

The troopship docked with the station, and Colonel Tanner, along with a small party consisting of his two XOs Majors Greenwood and Jenkins, and two of his infantrymen, boarded the station.

As the party stepped onto the station they found a lone woman holding a datapad waiting for them.

Jake stepped forward and stretched his hand out to her, "Colonel Jake Tanner, commander of the Iron Brigade, now what is it that you need us to do?"

“Welcome. Colonel.” Outstretching her arm Teresa shook Tanners hand. Gesturing towards a small chair next to the table she beckoned him to sit while she herself took a chair. “I thank you for coming so swiftly, now, I sense that you are a man who likes to resolve matters as quickly as possible so I’ll say my piece. I myself am employed by a client, who will remain nameless for now, but he is paying the bills. I am just here as a go between only. The job in question is one which I’m sure you will be able to handle easily. My client requires the trade between all ESUS nations disrupted, that means we want you to attack, destroy and capture as many civilian and military supply convoys as possible. You will receive bonus instalments for every successful attack, however now that you know of the current job will you accept it, and what are your fees?”

"Hmm...hit ESUS convoys...I think I just the place where trade could be easily disrupted just on the edge of Veredian space. As for pay, $800 million a month will cover just about everything. Plus, of course, bonuses. Also, if your interested in more mercs, try House Vernay, one of Veredia's noble houses, much of their forces are mercenary and they'll hire themselves out to just about anybody. What do you say?"

“The amount seems fair however raids inside ESUS territory would be appreciated, we would be willing to pay more of course.” Smiling Teresa flaunted her looks. “My clients would like to see the alliance destabilised as much as possible. Border raids will not inflict enough damage.”

"We can get inside ESUS territory...hell, we're from ESUS territory. Tell you what, pay me $50 billion up front and another $25 billion a month, and I'll get you over a hundred warships, and maybe a few ground divisions worst case scenario...at best, I could muster around three hundred merc ships. How about that?" the colonel asked.

“I’m sure you will agree that price is outrageous, and dangerous. Noi will take your first offer and let it be at that. If you are successful, perhaps we can negotiate further on more warships. It is not in my business to simply give out free money my friend, I hope you understand of course.” Smiling she raised a glass as if to in a toast. “I assume that is acceptable?”

OOC: Okay you pirate scum, time to make you worth the money I’m paying you. Basically you guys will simply have to start posting attack threads upon Jordaxia, take out his shipping, and everything possible.

IC: To All Mercenary Factions: The initial assault upon ESUS shipping is to begin on Jordaxia. Every Mercenary has been tasked with the job of destroying his merchant shipping, the desired timeframe for these attacks is two months. Our employers desire their merchant shipping to be crippled within then. Minimum target per mercenary faction is three convoys. A bonus will be added for any other convoys you take out, such as DemonLordEngima convoys or Balrogga shipping. Jordaxia has extensive holdings at Pluto and the asteriod belts in the SOl system, they are your best chances for prey.

Teresa out.
