OOC: Ok, so here's how the cookie crumbles. I'm still out of RP ideas. I'm done with my "Machine War" plot and ignoring it. Why? Because that was only around because I was extreamly bored.

I am currently in one RP (Crimmond's ship thingie), and Elara's homeworld won't start back up for a few more weeks.

I am a space nation. I am a 3.5 billion nation, own a star cluster, and have a fleet between 600-700 ships (not counting fighters, shuttles, or personal craft). I use Jump Node tech.

I'm looking for an RP to join. I'll take anything space related right now. Hell, I'm slightly interested in a war...I've never had a real space war agenst another player before.

Cam, I've looked at your fleet. I'm sorry, but I ignore SSD's and fleets of ISD's unless its for plot purposes. Those are way too big. I'll accept one ISD as a "mothership". Its too much of an economy killer for a single nation.

Ah. Well, they are quite powerful. And they serve a purpose. My men excel in ship-to-ship boarding. They move in, attack, send men to your ships and retreate to a safe distance...

And why not?

I would be interested in RPing with you. We had been in one before that sort of dropped off. If your ever interested in a non-war or at least limited conflict thread then contact me. I'm just getting a bit tired of war threads, seems like every one I get into either is one or turns into one. Gets a little tiring after awhile.

Real life for a bit, then I forgot about NS for a while and let the nation die. Newly revived, and back in the saddle.

I think I'm more in the mood for a big wormhole to who knows where appearing near where one of my ships and yours are meeting for a 'reestablishing ties' talk. I was actually working on a fairly general post I'll tailor to this and post it in a few, ok? Use one of your characters that's met Bill (or make one up that knows him[or his father knew him, Bill's going on three hundred and fifty]).

Note :

That pop was only to rp with other large nations and people who accepted it or planed rps that required it, they could easily be reduced to the amounts that are dictated by the rp further more I would usually rp my normal population .

what did you have in mind?

I just started a Character RP with a space spin. Go to the thread called "High Tech Character RP" if your still looking to join one.

Anything you want man....except me getting butchered beyond hope. I'm about ready for any RP I can join since NS is so damn slow!

I'm up for something as well, if you feel tough enough to handle the CGC (joke there, explained below).

The CGC has a population dwarfing that of many more established civilisations - their weapons and engines also tend to be powerful, with relatively few shots required to take down a ship their own size or, sometimes, larger.

There are only a few problems to this apparant advantage.

The first of these is that CGC stands for Combined Goblin Collective.
The second is that the large population consists of Goblins, who aren't all that bright and stand an average height of 4'2".
The third is that their weapons like to overheat, misfire or otherwise generally mess themselves up
The fourth is that they tend to forget when to drop out of FTL - so that about half of the fleet will overshoot their target by several lightyears.
The fifth is that CGC ships tend to be so haphazard that even the Goblins flying them are often uncertain which way is up, down, backwards, forwards and so on, let along which room is the cockpit and which is the galley (Goblin galleys are bad places to be...Gobbos can't cook, they're terrible at it).

I've been looking for a space RP as well. I'll join anything that's fun.

AO, when I read your first post I thought you meant bored with what you are doing of the current, but it seems you just want to RP with others of your interest. I was going to suggest maybe extending your RPing with another genre, for example fantasy, which I think ties nicely into space oriented RPs. I am mainly a fantasy RPer, but I have stuck my hand into your expertise, it was fun, but have gone back to fantasy with new ideas. Maybe if you tried something new (fantasy) this will awaken new ideas in the space RPs. Just a thought. I am currently involved in several fantasy RPs I would suggest reading them, but they have gone pretty far, but there are others out there that can easily be joined or start a new one. I would also be interested in RPing with you. I like to extend the people I RP, not that I don't like my "following", but it would be nice to know more people. Meh, I realize I am babbling, well let me know what you think.
