Blood. And in a toast, they pronounced him Lord.

Some time had already passed since the beginning of the final revolt. What had resided within the darkness for perhaps centuries, what had faded from the eternal realms of existance was now much further into an active presense than ever before. This was the year of the snake, an animal not only feared by those with the breath of life, but one with biblical connotations also. The evil one had once come in the form of the snake back in the early years of creation, and had been condemed to face its belly for all of eternity. Now, not even God could prevent its rise to fame and absolution.

Cities had fallen and risen already, it had only been a matter of centuries; and the walls had been blackened by smoke and war. The nation, for its time of inactivity had split into seven clans, each family having rulingship over the provinces. These families were indeed rather powerful, being those who had arranged the revolt of darkness, one of which that the kingdom of death had collided with that of life. Once before this had happened however, and a different ending had been chosen. This time, was different; and soon Indigo Blue, one who had rulingship over those with breath, would be proclaimed as not only a new entrant to the world he was forced into, but also as head over this nation.

He stood prepared for his final crowning, for the coronation ceremony which would proclaim him Lord over the newly established Blood Dynasty of Austar Union. With collar rather high upon his neck, and his spinal cord straight enough to protect his posture of excellence, he would soon drink from the cup of eternity, and all which had been undestined would be written in global history abroad. This was the new dynasty. Blood.

Halls had indeed been filled to brim of both dead and living. It was at this time at the Capital House would be soon changed forever, its name and deeds changed in favor of those who now resided in government. And whilst it was rather true that most were the same in most ways, it was that of which they breathed which made this world so different. Some breathed the life-giving gas of Earth's Air, and others who were the governors of this day did, and yet they did not need it. With a pact with Heaven's greatest enemy, this nation was now so different, so much like the enemy it had once faced itself. Death was its master, or more, it was perhaps a master of death itself.

Eternity had been granted to the citizens within, at least those who were willing to submit to its effect. Those who did not could be heard from even the chambers below; their bloody screams echoing through the barriers of both time and space. Yes, this world was different to that which had been always, and already experienced.

Drinks of the eternal liquid was perhaps the main of which these guests consumed, others did prefer to keep such entities sacred, and prefered to dine with the lesser of wine. Dimly lit of course, light could not penetrate this room, and only the softest whisper could reach through the weaknesses which did still exist. As guests of honor, each member of the seven ruling clans, not one was considered lesser of the Lord of Undead himself. A celebration of victory, for eternity they had been fighting against the forces of Life, Light, And All That Was Good; and now for at least an eternity they would stay. Perhaps the hardest concepts to grasp were that of which were most true.

And now, the cup would be presented, the one which had been written to gift to its consumer the eternal liquid of leadership. Already they had granted Indigo of his born destiny, now it was time for him to drink from this, and to gain it not just for the nation he was to lead, but for himself.
