IC:
She ran down the street, water streaking across her face from the rain. Her footsteps disrupted the puddles scattered on the ground with a miniature explosion. She could hear them running after her. She was but eight years old with dark brown hair and light skin. Her eyes were a light shade of silver, and refrained from blinking as she bolted down an alleyway. Dead end. Bad luck. She placed herself in the corner, and slumped down with her face turned away. “Someone help me. Please.”
She looked at the five that had slowed down their pace and were now leisurely walking towards her. Tears streamed down her face. “Get away from me. Please, get away.” They were a motley crew, but looked physically strong. One had lost his eye, another his right arm, and everything that was replaced by one means or another. They laughed and chatted of crude matters as they stopped six feet from the girl.
“Should we drain her dry? Or perhaps spoon out those pretty little eyes of hers?”
“We could just slit her throat, she’s a child after all.”
“No,” the center one stepped up. His dark skin seemed to blend in with the night. “Marcus wants the girl alive. It doesn’t mean that we can’t play a little. Such a cute little thing, ain’t she?” His smile curved up wickedly, and there seemed to be too many teeth in his mouth to have a decent smile. He stepped forward, bending down to the height of the small child.
“Yes, she is quite the beautiful child,” a deep voice came from behind them. There was some figure, at the end of the ally way. “It would be a shame to scar such beauty, wouldn’t it?”
“Who the hell are you?” the man turned around reaching for his gun. The figure started progressing towards them. Two others drew guns while the last two drew knives. The figure did not answer, but continued towards them. Shots rang out through the night, and screams shattered through the rain. The girl turned her head away, the brick wall digging into the side of her face. She felt a warm liquid splatter on her face. The screaming stopped. Then she realized it had been her own. She placed her hand to her face and saw that the liquid was blood, but this was not her own. Her eyes widened.
“Are you alright?” the figure said. She turned around to see the five, mangled and dead on the ground. The rainwater had begun to was the blood from their wounds and deposit it within the puddles creating a murky undertone. He offered her his hand. He was very tall with black hair and a hat set atop his head. His eyes were shielded by glasses and a long dark crimson coat covered most of his body. “My name is Allucard---“
The young girl reached up and took his hand. He pulled her up, but she was in such a state which she could not walk. He lifted her up, and she buried her head against his chest. The two were strangers. She had never met him before, but he had just saved her life. She wasn’t really sure what was going on. She was crying, but didn’t realize it. “They killed my family. My mom and dad, my twin sisters… My brother wasn’t home though… Then they came after me. I didn’t do anything bad. Why did they…Why?!”
“Because you are a very special girl.” He looked down at her, and smiled. “What’s your name?” She told him that her name was Ravelyn in between gasping breaths and sobs. “Ravelyn?” He paused in his speech, but continued walking. Something seemed to be on his mind. “Very special indeed.”
<TEN YEARS LATER>
A young girl awoke suddenly, perspiration on her forehead. She bit her lip rather hard. Her breathing slowed as she calmed down. She looked at the clock. It was almost seven at night. She threw herself out of bed, and run a comb through her hair. From what she had been ten years ago, her appearance had only become more enchanted with age. Her long brown hair had natural red highlights and tapered down to just below her shoulder blades. She was slim with an athletic build and more defining aspects also acquired with age. At eighteen, Ravelyn had become “quite a catch”.
Surprisingly enough, the girl had never dated, nor kissed anyone, nor made many friends. She wasn’t mean or snobbish, she wasn’t stupid or lame, she just liked being alone. She lived with her brother, Kagitsu, ever since the rest of her family had been murdered. Her brother was two years older than she, and watched out for her. She pulled on a pair of black cargo pants and a white tank top. She put on black mascara and eyeliner.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang and she rushed to answer it. She opened the door and smiled. “Master Allucard!” She smiled and threw her arms around his neck. He smiled, and she unwrapped her arms. He wore no sunglasses this time, and his eyes were black. He looked at her lip, noticing the blood. He bent his head slightly, and she looked up to him, closing her eyes. Their lips were less than an inch apart.
“Mr. Allucard,” she heard her brother’s voice chime in. Both straightened up. Allucard smiled slightly at her brother who had arrived in the doorway. Kagitsu and Allucard did not get along very well. Kagitsu always thought that that man was a bad influence on his sister. While Ravelyn had changed over the past ten years, Allucard remained the same.
Kagitsu looked at his sister. “Your lip is bleeding...” She covered it quickly with the back of her sleeve.
“It’s nothing. I bit my lip when I woke up this morning… Just dreams again, nothing to worry about.” She paused, and looked up at Allucard. “Listen, brother, I’m going to the library with Allucard so he can help me finish this term paper. I might be late because it’s a rather big paper, so don’t wait up, ok?”
“Whatever. Just be careful.” He gave Allucard a glare, and shut the door harshly.
____
“So tell me, what are these dreams that you have been having?” Allucard placed his hands in his pockets as they walked. Ravelyn’s faced switched through several shades of red before she was able to stutter out an answer.
“N-N-Nothing really…” she looked down. “Just, you know…dreams. I mean, I forget them all anyway…” Allucard chuckled, and continued on. After a while they got to a large building toward the outskirts of the city. He pushed open the door and led her down the corridors into one room where a man was waiting. This man was Jax, the manager of the Versa Corperation. It was like the police, however this Corperation dealt with bounties and ‘special cases’. As he saw the two enter, he stood up.
“Ravelyn? Is that you? Now I know why people have bounties on you. It’s easy to see why Allucard would without even meeting the guy, but you….” He looked her up and down. “We’ve had to remove over twelve bounties on you from the market. And it’s not easy. Allucard’s been doing most of the work—“Allucard had never told her this. “You’re old enough to start going with him. I’ll allow it if he wants to take you, of course. You’ve handled small things, but the next I don’t think that I want only one of you going alone.”
“Jax, why are there so many bounties on me? I’ve done nothing.”
“To tell you the truth, I’m not sure.”
“Look at her eyes, maybe then you’ll see it. Damn humans can’t see past their own little world.” Ravelyn shifted. She was obviously human, and she looked at him, a little hurt, and a little intrigued at what he had said. He looked at her. “You shouldn’t be offended by my statement…” He looked at Jax. “So, do you have any leads?”
“Yes, there is a man by the name of Marcus we have been tracking all these threats to. Not quite sure where he is, so we’ll have to go though the market to find him. There is a trader and assassin that goes by the name Joachim. He’s at a warehouse in Summerset, not to far from here. He’ll probably be armed, and there will be others, so I suggest you take some more people with you.”
“Rave and I can handle this, if you send your men, they’ll die. They mean nothing to me, so I will not protect them.”
“It is against my best interest to send you alone, especially with the girl. So, take three of my men with you.”
“If you wish.”
“Does she need any equipment?” he said, motioning to Rave.
“No, she’ll be fine.”
____________
The three soldiers and Ravelyn waited at the entrance of the warehouse. Allucard had gone outside the front door and lit a cigarette. He seemed at ease despite the given situation. He saw his target approaching…with more people than he would have expected. He tilted his head, and grinned.
“Who’s there? Show yerself!” A martial looking man said with short black hair. Unmistakably Joachim. Shots rung out. Ravelyn’s mind flashed back. This time, there were more shots. Allucard, still smiling…and taking every single bullet. Joachim was the only one left by the time he was done. It wasn’t before long he had fallen to his knees and his blood seeped into the ground. The three shoulders filed out of the warehouse as Rave watched on.
“Master Allucard!” she ducked out the door, and threw herself on top of him, her arms wrapping around him. “Master Allucard….” There was no response. The gunfire stopped. She could guess as much that the soldiers were dead as well. Joachim stood over her. He was the only one left standing.
“So this is the vampire I’ve been hearing all this fuss about? ‘Master Allucard?’ Not really such a big threat after all, is he?” he cackled. “And you, my dear, must be what Marcus has waited so long for. Silly girl, you came right to me. Looks like your guardian didn’t do such a good job of protecting you. What an idiot!”
“Master Allucard is far more of a man than you could ever imagine or even hope of becoming!” She stood up, her eyes flashing a brilliant white shade. He gripped her throat, and tightened his grip gradually. “M-master Allucard….” She clasped her hands around his wrists. “he…would never forgive me if I let you kill me. He is the only thing I live for!” He looked into her eyes; colorless spheres. Blood trickled down her back as two black wings unfurled from her back, breaking through her jacket. The feathers were the color of the night, with the shine of the moon. The wings contracted, pulling her away from the grip. She reached out her hand, and both guns from his side fell into her hands. There was no hesitation in pulling the trigger. The guns fell from her hands, and she straightened her posture.
“Do I really mean that much to you Rave?” she turned around to see Allucard standing there, his wounds fully closed. She felt herself fall to him, and felt his arms close around her. He felt her body go limp, her wings deteriorate into feathers and fall to the ground to be blown by the wind. He smiled softly, and picked her up. You showed your wings…just for me?
__________
Allucard sat at the edge of her bed. She opened her eyes and looked to him. “Master Allucard,” she whispered. She sat up, and he placed his hand on the side of her face.
“Tell me what’s been bothering you lately,” he said softly. She blushed slightly, and slid one side of her shirt off her shoulder exposing her breast. Allucard shifted.
“I want you to take from me. I’m…in love with you Allucard.” She smiled lightly, and he pulled her close to him. She sad sideways on top of his lap. He looked in her eyes, the same silvery quicksilver around a black onyx orb. He bent his head and bit down into the exposed flesh. She winced, but only wanted it more. He drew back. He would not take it all from her. She opened her eyes, and kissed him. He undid her shirt as she continued to kiss him. For the first time in her life, she had seen Allucard without his jacket on, without his sunglasses, and hat. He had black hair and eyes with pale skin and a strong but lean build. His black shirt was unbuttoned at the top.
She let her hand travel down to unbutton the remaining ones and push it off one of his shoulders. His skin was so cold, and hers was so warm, the combined result set chills down her spine, and warmed him up. He ran his tongue along her neck before biting down gently. The wound closed with his touch. He kissed her slowly, moving downwards between her breasts to her abdomen. He undid the top of her cargo pants and bit the string of her thong playfully. The ‘angel’ had never been to heaven before, but Allucard took her there.
She opened her eyes to find herself in Allucard’s arms, fully clothed and her back sore from where her wings had torn. There was perspiration on her forehead, and he smiled.
“So is that what your dreams have been about?”
“WHAT?! That was a dream?!” her face flushed instantly. “You…saw my dream?”
He nodded with a smile, and chuckled softly. “Ravelyn, you should have just told me sooner…”
“Why? Because I feel awkward now.”
“Why? Did you ever think that I could have the same feelings towards you” *leer*
“Well, I didn’t think that you thought of me like that…”
“I do. Very often, actually. I love you, Ravelyn.” He smiled, exposing his fangs. “Let me make your dream come true.”

She slowly opened her eyes and saw that no one was there. She looked around the room. It looked unfamiliar to her. There were weapons on the walls and various texts scattered upon tables. She rose from her bed and looked in some of the drawers. There was more gemstones and jewelry than one could find within a life time. She closed them, and moved to the texts on the table. It was in some sort of foreign language, but she was rather good at translations. She managed to pick up a few bits and fragments about what appeared to be a war.
“I see you’ve found the scriptures…” Allucard said as he entered the room.
“Scriptures? What does it say? This text looks as though it’s rather old.”
“Did you know that this empire once had a leader. She was a great leader, and it was a time of piece and prosperity for all.”
“Well what happened? It’s certainly not like that now.”
“The former leader of this country loved her people so much, that her own self sacrifice was a small price to pay to stop this nation from being destroyed. She did not, however, forsee the magnitude of her death, and the impact that it would later hold upon the nation. Her son, Qui, had taken up the place for a while, but he vanished. Many people said he went mad. He was rather instable. There was a man by the name of Lotus who was going to take the thrown; he was a pacifist for the most part. There was a fight between Lotus and Kaos. You see, the former leader, Qui, Lotus, and Kaos, were part of the big four. They h ad ruled a greater land before setting foot on earth. Their occupancy created peace in this land. When Ravelyn died, and Qui succumbed to his madness, the four were broken. Kaos and Lotus ended up killing each other. That’s when lack of leadership began to take its toll.”
“The former leader, who was she?”
“Her name was Ravelyn Shentavo, a remarkable woman with abilities that could only match her intelligence.”
“Ravelyn?”
“Yes. When you told me your name, I was very intrigued. You see, since Rave Shentavo’s death, that name has been forbidden to be used for new births in reverence of her sacrifice, even if it turned out to be in vein. That’s why I was very curious to find a child being attacked that night with such a name.”
“So people want to kill me because of my name?”
“No. The reason that people are coming after you is because of what you showed me yesterday. Your wings, your eyes…there has been a rumor that our former empress’ would return to stop the corruption one day.”
“They think it’s me?”
“What were your mother and father like? Do you remember?”
“I just remembered that they were killed in a fire. I don’t remember seeing them…or their names.”
“You were adopted. The family you were staying with had taken you in off the streets. I know because I was watching that house since before you were born…for personal reasons you see.”
“So then, why would these people want me dead? I didn’t do anything.”
“They are afraid of order because they have been living so long without it. And once, you did do something. You once united the nations and stood with glory and admiration about this empire. You were once empress of this nation Ravelyn. Whether you believe me or not, it’s in your soul, locked away somewhere. While the empress may have died, she does seem to find a way to carry on in other things. And I believe that she is in you, and you are one.”
“This is a little much to handle.”
“I know. Take your time.” Allucard progressed towards her and continued to wrap an arm around her waist and rest his chin on her shoulder. She leaned back on him. He took her hand and placed a ring on it. It was a black platinum ring with rubies and diamonds in it with a rich design of old times. “This once was yours. It was the only one made like it.”
“It’s beautiful,” she replied in a whisper. Such a remarkable design was hard to come by these days. “how did you get this?”
“To tell you the truth, I knew her son very well. He knew that I would be around much longer than he would, so he gave it to me.”
“I see. You know, I should probably get back to my house. My brother is probably very worried about me.”
“No doubt he is. I’ll walk you home.” He placed an arm around her shoulders, and led her out the door.

No vampire shall ever reveal his true nature to a mortal and let the mortal live. No vampire must ever reveal the true history of the vampires to a mortal and let the mortal live. No vampire must commit to writing the history of the vampires or any true knowledge of vampires lest such a history be found by mortals and believed. No vampire shall ever love one who is not a vampire or that vampire and the mortal shall be killed. (AR 42)
It was early morning, and the sun had not yet risen. Rave could have no idea that her brother, Kagitsu, had stayed up all night. He was very worried about her. It wasn’t because she didn’t come home last night, it was because she had left with Allucard. He never liked Allucard, and to a point hated him. He felt that Allucard was tarnishing his sister’s years. That damn vampire had ruined everything. Kagitsu sat in the center of the living room facing the doorway. His hair was ruffled and his eyes seemed as if they were glued open. He had a picture in his hands which he rubbed his thumb against the corner of it. He did so for so many hours that it started to wear away. It was a picture of his sister, standing on the Summerset Bridge at night. The orange lights from the streetlamp filtered down upon her face. She was beautiful. Next to him lay a knife. His hand occasionally wandered to it to admire the sharp edge.
Allucard walked next to Ravelyn, one arm around her shoulders. Allucard was smiling, and Rave was speaking in a low voice of various topics. It wasn’t long before they reached the door of her apartment. She looked up to Allucard and kissed him. How good it felt to have things in the open…at least between them. She opened the door and her keys dropped to the ground. She felt herself falling backwards. Allucard quickly turned around to catch her. His eyes shot through the doorway, at her brother, who had driven a knife through her side. She winced, and let out a soft cry. “Brother…”
“What the hell?” he growled. “I should have known better than to trust her with you…” He set Ravelyn on the floor, and placed his hand on the knife, pulling it out. He did his best to close the wound with his touch; however, Kagitsu took a swing at him. He missed. The knife went sailing through the air and nailed him in the arm, pinning him to the wall. “Stupid maggot. Why don’t you tell her why your parents died? Tell her what really happened.” He walked over to him, and gripped his throat tightly. “Tell her why she has to run for the rest of her life!”
“I…was told of a reward for revealing the identity of her… They promised that everything would be taken care of. That they wanted nothing more than to study her eyes. If she were to die, then there would be no reward. I thought that you were the one that was going to walk through that door…”
“Brother!” Ravelyn cried, and struggled to sit up. She gripped her side in pain. “How could you do that! How could you ever do that to your family!? To your own sister!?”
“You’re adopted. You were never my sister. A street rat and nothing more.” Kagitsu sneered. Allucard swiftly punched him in the stomach.
“Watch your tongue!” Allucard snapped, his black eyes narrowing on the boy in front of him in disgust.
“I know that she isn’t worth more than the next. I know her better than anyone.”
“I’d like to challenge that,” Allucard said with a sheer grin of satisfaction. He looked back at Rave. He could see, even across the room, that she was crying. Ravelyn…what do you want me to do. Ravelyn looked up toward him, and stood up shakily. She walked over to her brother, and Allucard stepped out of the way. She spat in his face.
“I felt that I was the reason that we lost our parents. So I did everything to make it up to you. I paid for this apartment, all the food you eat. Being a waitress just doesn’t cut it for funds. You know well I skipped meals every day so you could have something to eat. I never told you to get a job. I was like your slave. And you held that over me all this time. You were the one that caused all of this! You ruined my life, and you never told me what you had done. You just took advantage of the situation!” Her palm connected with the side of his face so hard that a bruise began to form beneath the surface almost instantly. There was anger through her tears, but she could not control her crying. “I trusted you!...and you….and you betrayed me!”
Ravelyn…what would you like me to do with him?
“So what are you going to do? You can’t kill your own brother.” He chuckled. “You couldn’t kill anyone even if you wanted to…”
Allucard laughed again. “I believe I would challenge that as well…” His eyes fixed upon Kagitsu.
“Oh shut up you walking corpse!” Kagitsu hissed. Ravelyn didn’t slap him across the face, but punched him. She took the knife within his arm, and with effort, pulled it from the wall. He slouched down and favored his arm on the ground.
“Sorry, but as you said, your not my brother.” With that, she took the knife, and slid it across his throat in a quick and powerful slash. She dropped the knife, and turned around to face Allucard. He placed a hand on her shoulder. “Was what he said true? He sold me out for money?”
“Yes. Leave him there. It’s best you don’t dwell on him. He’s not worth your tears or your thoughts.” Ravelyn did not reply, but walked out of the door, and stood outside to wait for Allucard. He looked over Kagitsu body, and pulled a chain from around his neck, placing it in his pocket. I’m coming for you Marcus.

(ooc: you really haven't been here long, have you? listen, when it comes to my threads, I am very accepting of any criticism. But, if you don't want to see how it goes, there is no use in tagging if you aren't interested in the first place. Secondly, If you don't really know why this is here, you should read my other rps, and find out a little history about the leader of the nation before saying something shouldn't be here. Thirdly, if you wanted to join, all you would have to do is tg me. As far as I'm concerned. Indeed it is an rp, so i suggest you get your facts before making comments. Any concerns, tg me, otherwise, let me write my story. I don't come out in the open and say everything at once. I don't say what twists will develope or tell you what will happen to each character. It's a story, so wait and see how it turns out before jumping to conclusions about its relation to my empire.)

The night was young and the liquor was free. As the young man drank and drank he failed to notice the time fly by, when he recognized he was late he got up off the bar stool and stammered to the bar door. As he fell threw he hit the ground with a sickening thud. When he woke up again he noticed that his face was sore and was covered in a sticky fluid. He touched the sore spot on his head to discover a gash in his forehead, he then realized that the sticky fluid was blood, his blood. The thought of blood sobered him up enough to walk across the street into a park. As he moved through the abandoned park he got the feeling that he was being watched and ... followed. As the wind blew he hurried his pace in fear of being ambushed, and he reached a bridge in time to see his ... pursuer. It was just a harmless old stray dog with a ragid tail, feeling a little more relaxed and sober he sat down on a park bench and checked his head again. Suddenly out of no where he was attacked, when he brought his arms before him he saw his attacker was just another drunk like himself, and had probably tripped and ran into him. He then helped the drunk to his feet and sat down for a little rest. He then noticed that the stray was still with him, and it looked larger then before. He paid it no mind and listened to the wind howl like a wolf. This calmed him even more, he was tired now and wanted to sleep, but sleep gave way to common since and he knew that if he had a concussion he best not sleep. So he gathered enough strength to stand up and walk down the unlit path in hope of finding a hospital at the end of the dark and gloomy path ahead. When he reached the tunnel in the middle of the park he recognized where he was and where the closest hospital was. He turned around to see the old stray was keeping pace, and not only that but was gaining on him. He didn't mind he rather liked the fact of a dog following him, made him feel safe. When from behind he felt a pain in he right thigh, he turned back expecting to see the stray or maybe a cat, but no before his eyes stood a six foot monster, with the head of a wolf the body of a man and the claws ... the claws of a beast. He started to run, but before he knew it the animal was on him ripping into his arm, which he threw up in front of him to protect himself. As the animal sunk it's teeth into his arm he thought he was dead, his eye's became heavy and his mind ceased to race. When all of a sudden the pain in his arm was gone, and the weight on his chest was lighter now, he opened his eyes to see the stray standing over him like a mother wolf protecting it's pups. The beast took one whiff of the air and ran off, in the next moment he heard voices, unfamiliar voices ringing out threats and swears all the same. He then passed out, and woke up in time to see the stray run of before the men, he heard them swearing again, but this time they were in front of him. They then picked him up and asked what happened to him, not sure how to answer he just moaned and fell unconscious again. He was awoken in the park again but this time he was moving, and this time he heard the question, and this time he answered, "The .. the stray saved ... saved me." he was out like a light after that. The seconds turned into minutes and the minutes into hours before he woke again, but not to the voice of a police officer, this time to the sound of a nurse calling him back from the dead. "Sir, Sir, Sir, wake up you have a concussion you can't go to sleep, wake up!". He then opened his eyes to see the face of an angel standing before him, and he said, "Am I dead, are you an angel here to take me away?". She answered in a sad voice, "No I'm no angel sent to take you anywhere." "Do you know where you are?" she asked. The injured man looked around to see a host of doctors, nurses, and men waiting by his bed side, the man asked, "Am ... I in a hospital?" "Who ... are you people?". At first the doctors believed he had amnesia until the asked what his name was and he answered, "My name ... is, Daniael, Daniael Richards. The crowd seemed to grow relieved that he didn't loose his memory, as the nurse left a police officer talked to the doctors before asking Daniael any questions. "Ok Daniael" the sergeant started, "Do you know what happened to you?" the officer next to him was taking down notes, Daniael answered, "I was attacked ... by a large animal, and then a stray scared it off." "Then I heard voices, your voices ... I think." "Then I was carried here, that's all I remember, honest.". The Sergeant seemed pleased with the answer, he patted Daniael on the shoulder, and gave him his sentiments before leaving.
__________________________________________________
It was week before the doctors released him with a clean bill of health, and it was the night of a full moon. A rare event astronomically speaking, an event Daniael looked forward too. As he made his way home that day, he noticed more then he ever had before the incident. The smells, the sounds, even the tastes were more vivid, more spectacular. As he jogged home he noticed that his normally weak body felt strangely stronger, faster, healthier. He had never felt this way before, before he would be out of breath before he got home, but now he could already see his home and felt as if he could run a couple miles. He wasn't sure what happened to him on that fateful night, but he liked the results, a stronger healthier body, a keen array of senses, even his normally bad back had seemed to vanish. It was as if he was no longer human, which in actuality was the case. But this day he felt young, vigorous, wild, and he loved it all, the feel of the wind on his face the smell of the air, he loved it all. When he got inside his building he decided to take the stairs and test his stamina. As he climbed the stairs with ease he noticed that he longed for the outdoors, but it had been too long since he was last home. As he reached his door he unlocked the door, and was hit with a gust of stale air so strong that it nearly made him drop to the floor. He walked in and the first thing he did was raid the fridge for any eatable food. As he opened the fridge door he saw that their was some week old Chinese take out, some old sausage, and a couple beers. He reached for the sausages and took a bite, it was strangely good for some left overs but it hit the spot all the same. As he walked out of the kitchen he saw the time on his clock, it was thirty-five minutes too midnight. And he felt an urge to return to the park, to where he had been attacked, to where he saw the beast. But for now he felt the urge to vent his bowels, after he did his business he checked the news. There was a report of strange animal attacks in the park, the same park where he was attacked. "That's it, I'm going to find what's out in that park, ... and stop it." with that said Daniael walked out the door, coat in hand. Twenty minutes later he made his way to the park and started his search when he meet the same old dog that had saved him last night. He saw the dog run by it tail in the air, and behind it he saw some man with a club of some kind. Daniael ran down in hopes of stopping the man, but the man and dog were out of sight by time he got there, but he could smell them, and began to follow the scent. It was no sooner then he started following the scent did the stray come up on him and hide behind him, followed closely by the man. When he saw the man approach at first he thought he remembered him from last night, but no it was nobody. When the man saw the dog hiding behind Daniael, he demanded that Daniael give him the monster. When Daniael refused the man thought it wise to attack Daniael, but when he swung the club Daniael dodged it with ease. And when the man swung it back at him, Daniael caught the mans arm, and knocked the club from his hands. Unarmed and out matched the man ran away, babbling something about beasts with teeth. As Daniael bent down to consolidate his friend he noticed that the dog, was in fact a wolf, a female wolf, and from the looks of it she had just given birth. He then patted her head and rubbed her ears, surprisingly she remained by his side for some time while he searched. When he checked his watch he saw that it was nearly midnight. Daniael not knowing how he would deal with a six foot beast, tightened he coat and moved quietly through the falling leaves. When midnight came he passed out, and when he woke up, he found himself naked. When he surveyed the surroundings he found something that might have been his coat, but it was destroyed beyond repair. He then noticed a beautiful young woman, in a pile of leaves next to him, he was shocked and didn't know what to do, but just then she stirred. As he watched her shift from side to side he thought he saw he saw a bite mark on the back of her neck. She then stirred some more before waking up. Daniael who was not accustomed to waking up with beautiful women in parks, averted his eyes until she spoke. She simply said, "You don't like what you see?", Daniael was shocked and tried to answer, "Um, uh, *gulp*, no, no I didn't ... didn't say that, it's ... it's just that ... that I don't know who, or what you are.". When he said that he thought she was about to strike him, but instead she simply said, "My name is Lauriel, and I'm what you are, I'm a Lichen, a Werewolf.". Daniael was stunned at the thought of such a statement, and she didn't snicker once while saying it. Could it be true? Daniael thought to himself, No, it's a joke, Werewolves aren't real, they're myth, legend, but could they be real? She didn't wait for him to ponder this matter, she stretched out and grabbed his arm and asked, "So lover, you want to go for it a second time?" she then traced some claw marks on his make and said, "I'll be gentle this time.". Daniael was just overwhelmed, he stood up with her hanging on his waist, he then brushed her off and started off. She then inquired, "Where you going? I'm not finished yet.", but Daniael was in to much of a rush to get away. As he ran through the park he pondered the thought carefully, could he really be a werewolf, "NO!" he said to himself "I just couldn't be.". As he ran along he made his way home in record time, and all without being seen. Once inside he pondered the matter as he dressed, he thought of all the legends, about all the lore behind Werewolves. And he decided to see a higher authority on the matter. But now he would sleep, for now he would be ... lost.

That morning he woke up, bathed, and put on some clean clothes. As he walked out the door, he made his way to the religious part of the city, there he would get his answer, hopefully. As he entered the empty church he saw that the confessionals were open, so he decided to find his answer in there. As he entered the confessional he started to sweat, he had never done this, not being Catholic and all. As he sat down the slide opened, and the priest began his prayer. "Father, I have a confession to make, I'm not catholic." the priest replied, "That is ok my son, you may still tell me of your sin, if you wish too.". Daniael then asked the priest, "Father, do you believe a man can become a beast?" the priest began to say that all men have beastly urges but was stopped short, "No, father I mean, so you believe an man can be infected with the bite of a wolf and become a 'Lichen'?" "Ah, my son, now I see, you fear that when you were bit that you would become a werewolf, there is nothing to fear from such superstition, but if you were bit by a wolf and did turn, there would be little a man of the clothe such as myself could do for you.". Daniael then asked, "What could you do for me?" "Well my son," the priest said, "I could put you out of your eternal misery, figuratively speaking of course, or ... no you wouldn't choose that path, not unless you were pure of heart.". Frantically Daniael asked, "What, do what?" "You could take a vow to serve the holy light, and wear a silver cross to show your determination to not stray from the path of the just.". "How would one make such a vow?" the preist replied, "Well first my son, you would light a candle on the alter of a church, then you would kneel before a priest holding a silver sword and cross. You then would have the cross placed on your bared breast so that it's make would burn to your heart, then you would be knighted in the name of the son, the father, and the holy spirit. You would then wear a silver cross at all times, and serve to protect the people from those of the darkness.". "How do you know this would work, where could I do such a thing, why would anyone accept a beast as a holy knight?". "My son come with me.", as the priest stepped out of the confessional, Daniael followed him patiently. Daniael then noticed that the cathedral was eerily empty, and as the priest led him to the alter covered in candles, he saw a silver sword hanging in a gilded scabbard. The priest then motioned to Daniael to lite a candle, as Daniael lit the he saw the preist motion to him to stand before him. So Daniael stood before the preist, "Ok my son, are you sure you wish to go through with this?" Daniael answered "Yes, I do.". When Daniael said that, the preist motioned for Daniael to kneel, so Daniael knelt before the preist. The preist then told Daniael to bare his chest, and Daniael did as he was bade, the preist them removed a silver cross from around his neck and held it in his hand. He then pressed the silver to Daniael left breast, immediately the silver hissed and Daniael felt that it was indeed burning him, the preist then removed the cross and put it's cord around Daniael's neck. He then told Daniael the words he must repeat, "In the name of God, I am the banisher of darkness, and where I go, I shall drive the darkness from where it hides and destroy it with the holy light of God.", as Daniael repeated the words the preist knighted him. And when the ceremony has over the preist bid Daniael to follow him, he led Daniael to a dead end where nothing but a cross stood. In an instant the preist stepped on a stone and the wall turned into an elevator. He bid Daniael to enter it, and when he did, he grabbed the cross around his neck and pressed it into a impression of a cross and turned it to the right. As the doors closed Daniael felt a little claustrophobic, but that faded within a moment. As the doors opened a second time he saw that the walls were older but there was electric lighting. The preist then led Daniael down the hall into what seemed to be a large council room, when Daniael asked where he was, all the preist has to say was, "The Silver Order."
__________________________________________________
"So how long has it been since you joined Daniael?" Daniael replied, "About three years tomorrow, why do you ask?" "Oh, no reason just wondering when you joined, you really been here for three years now?" Daniael answered, "Yep, wondering when they plan to put me out to pasture are ya?". "Oh, no, nothing like the Daniael, not that I wouldn't it's just that, uh." "Your a funny one Racheal, if they ever do let me go, you'll be the first I call, chuckling." disgusted Racheal replied, "Uh, I didn't mean it that way, um, you pig!" as Racheal said that she shoved Daniael in his seat. "Oh, come on don't deny you haven't thought about how it'd be to do it with a werewolf, laughter." "Pig! You never change." shouted Racheal. "Have I claimed that I've changed?" "Hmm!", "Hey Josh, were they sendin us today? Hope it's Hawaii, chuckling." Josh answered, "I don't think it's Hawaii, but you'll like it all the same.". "So how's the huntin?" Josh answered, "Pretty damn good, Vamps, Ghouls, normal stuff really, but I hear tale of a pretty powerful vampire, too." "Nuff said then, hey Takeda, what you thinkin over there?" Takeda sat in his seat silent, "... heavy breathing ..." angered Daniael replied, "Damn Ninja, never speaks, so Lauria, what do you suspect?", "Hmm, a powerful vampire, hordes of ghouls, doesn't take guineas to connect the two, but I still feel ... uneasy, but that shouldn't stop us.". "OK, Micheal do your thing, and Ballock, uh, do whatever you do.". The flight was long and rough, but they made it in one piece all the same. As they walked into town the noticed the locals eyeing Takeda, in his black uniform he was quite a sight to see. As they neared the hotel that the Silver Order had been so gracious to reserve rooms for them, they noticed the locals go back to their previous business. When they entered the hotel lobby, all the eyes in the room turned to them and when the went up into their rooms the locals again returned to there own business. Inside their room Micheal set up his gear, while Takeda meditated. Sharing his room, Ballock cleaned his rifle and gear, while Josh disassembled his shotgun and reassembled it. And in Lauria room, she played with her tetsugen, while Racheal watched the news. And alone in his room Daniael sat quietly contemplating the news and the number of vampires, ghouls, and any other freaks they would have to deal with. But one thing still sat unsteady in his mind, the thought of a powerful vampire, wasting time making ghouls, it's not like them thought Daniael, but all the same they would have to be destroyed. As the day passed into night the soldiers of Silver Order readied for their secret war agianst the demons of darkness.

ooc: nice contribution. this could work out very well. my only request is that you separate paragraphs, because the one long text is very hard to read. (sorry lol)
IC:
She was standing there, her wrist tied in chains. She had a black backless dress on made out of silk. Her hair was curled and long. Her eyes though, her crimson eyes were open, but drowsy. She had been drugged, quite enough of a dosage to kill several humans. But she wasn’t human. The white wings upon her back proved enough. The man at her side had black hair and red eyes. His skin was pale, and he had a wicked grin upon his face. He gripped the woman’s arm rather tightly as a demonic priest prepared for them to be married. She tried to pull away, but couldn’t. Demons all around, gathering to see it. The ceremony which would give hell access to the heavens. A seraphim, to be married to a demon lord…and break the threshold. Demons and angels would take their battle to earth, and humans would be slaughtered in the process.
“Do you, Daja Sadacca, demon lord of Azagoth, take this woman as your queen?”
“With all my heart…”
“You don’t have one,” the woman scoffed. He hissed at her words. The priest responded with, “Save it for your honeymoon…” Her eyes enlisted her anger, but there was nothing she could do. After all this time, she was not about to be defeated.
“Do you, (for you must say yes), Ravelyn Shentavo, seraphim Azrael, take this man as your king.”
“See that’s where you and I have a problem,” a voice said, pushing through the crowd. It was no demon. This man had black hair and black eyes. He was a bit taller than Daja with a dark presence about him. He was no vampire, however. His name was…Michael Vaughn. “That woman you drugged and kidnapped that you think your about to marry, is my fiancée. And if you really didn’t realize that, because I believe she’s said my name more than a few times to you, then you could have looked at the ring on her finger. Or if that wasn’t enough, you could just face the fact that she doesn’t love you. And I’m afraid for what you’ve done to her, I just can’t let you live.”
----------------------
“Listen, I know that hell isn’t a great place to be married…but I…I don’t want to loose you again. I know our time is growing short, and no matter how far we get separated, I’ll always come back for you.”
“Vaughn,” she wrapped her arms around her neck. Her lips parted and showed a glint of her fangs. “I do.” She kissed him softly, just biting his lower lip. Their love was so powerful, and they had been through so much. If ever there was a greater love story than Romeo and Juliet, it would have been these too. And if you ask anyone in the nation about Ravelyn Shentavo, and Michael Vaughn, they would shake their heads and say “eternal lovers”. She was never happier than with him, and he was never happier than with her. They always protected one another. While Vaughn did end up saving her in the end, it cost him his own. Not too long after that, she vanished as well. She always stood at the window with her rose. Dropping it, with hopes he would catch it. They were star crossed lovers, with a thirst for life. The angel loved the dragon knight. It’s how it always went. They were in the right place at the right time…
-------------------------
“Vaughn,” Rave woke with a start. She ran her hand through her hair, and looked around to get her surroundings. She saw Allucard, sitting up with a strange expression on his face. He placed his hand around her shoulders, and she leaned back on him.
“So you are beginning to remember…”
“He loved me…so much.” There were tears within her eyes. She couldn’t help it. “He loved my son, Qui. He loved Sarah, and Genesis. He loved my family. “I was…who was Daja?”
“Oh…Daja. Well that’s a long story. I suppose I shall tell you,” Allucard sighed softly, and stroked her hair gently as he spoke. “Daja was an ancient vampire. He had been around since Corothisia, millennia ago. Daja, Corothisia, and I were acquaintances, Corothisia was my friend, but I never liked Daja. He was powerful, but never honorable, which made me loss my respect for him rather quickly. He found you stranded on the beach, and angel just sent to earth. You were weak, and he took advantage of that. He turned you, but your soul was left intact. You were the first hybrid ever successful. The first and last angelic vampire ever created, save for Qui. Daja disappeared, and you thought him to be dead. You eventually gained rule of the nation, and under your rule, it thrived. You were a benevolent ruler. You didn’t kill people, but Daja did. You managed to create a blood stone which generated blood so that you wouldn’t have to live off of humans. You could only create three. One you gave to Qui, and one you gave to Kain from Velmora. Daja disappeared. You never loved him…you never could love him, and you didn’t pretend you. You tried to break away and you did. You ended up killing him…or at least you thought you did.
A while after you met Vaughn and opened the Shentavo Academy, Vaughn asked you to marry him. And you did love him…you always loved him, and you couldn’t pretend otherwise. Daja had kidnapped you one night, threatening someone else that was close to you as he injected you with some sort of poison…”
“I saw this in my dream. How do you know all of this?”
“I kept loose ties with Corothisia, and you once asked him to give you away at your wedding, since you yourself didn’t have a real father.”
“I must have really liked him.”
“Yes. You did. He had the hots for you…but when he asked for your hand you declined. You were very hot for Vaughn.” He chuckled. “Very hot from what I’ve heard.” She shoved him a bit.
“What time is it?”
“Almost seven, we should probably leave.”
“Why do we have to keep moving from place to place?”
“What do you mean?”
“Why don’t we just settle down in a place?”
“We could…”
“Shentavo mansion empty?”
“No one has touched it since…well, you died.”
“Take me there.”

In the depths of an abandoned monastery on the edge of town, the soldiers of Silver Order fought valiantly against the legions of undead ghouls that now took residence within.
As the ranks advanced they were ripped apart by tetsugen, sword, and claw alike. In his hybrid form Daniael waded through the ghouls slaying the ghouls and turning them into dust.
"Daniael, don't get separated, Takeda watch yourself, come on guys I've seen you kill more ghouls then this in less time."
"Shut the hell up Micheal, it's easy for you to judge when you're just logistics, so unless you wanna lend a hand do be kind and shut your mouth, or I'll drain you dry."
"Aye, Aye, Sergeant Tragner, for a vamp you don't have much patience."
"Micheal, how many soldiers are left alive?"
"Huh, given the casualty rating, and the fact they rise as ghouls, uh, none, but then again what so you expect, they're only human, they're not hunters like us."
"Micheal, cram it, you're only a hunter by name, not action."
"Fine, fine, fine, diss the logistics brother, real smart, get yourself killed that way. Anyway, you find the source of all these ghouls?"
"Yes."
"Well, spill it Takeda, where they all comein from?"
"There is an underground crypt in the mansion."
"Hey, Micheal, I thought it was your job to research the blueprints of every large building we hunt in!"
"Hey I can't help it if the town, don't have a public record or on all the house, geehs, it ain't always my fault." "Anyway, two floors up you'll meet the baddie that made all these misshapen fiends."
"Good, I bore of all this senseless slaughter."
As the hunters made their way up the floors, they encountered more ghouls, and so they fought harder then they normally would have. And upon reaching the final floor discovered they were exhausted, but as hunters of Silver Order they were held by oath to cleanse all undead filth, and they had a job to do. As they entered the library of the old mansion they were relieved to discover that there were no more ghouls to deal with. Instead, cowering in a corner there was the dark beast that had damned those poor pitiful souls to an eternity of suffering. From the looks of it he had been turned quite recently, and was not as powerful as they first calculated.
"In the name of Silver Order, we are charged with the task of banishing all unnatural beast to where wince they came." "And that means your existence here has been terminated."
With those words the vampire leaped at the group only to be cut down before he landed, by Lauria's tetsugen. He then burst into an explosion of flame and dust, as all vampires do.
"All unholy children born of hate return to your graves and bother not this world again."
Now finished with their work they began their long exodus from inside the mansion.
"Well, guys not your best work but not too shabby."
"Shut it Micheal."
"Hey Daniael what's Rachel's problem?"
"The target was nothing but a child, probably abandoned by the master and left for dead, it then filed the void the only way it could, by raising friends from the dead."
"Poor devil, now I know, sorry." "But don't think this is all the work to be done here, we got plenty of other vamps to dust."
"Yeah, we all know our duty too well." "It's the too well part that gets to ya."
"Ain't that the truth Ballock, hey Josh did those new shells test well?"
"What do you think, of course they did, thank Silver Order labs for me, will ya?"
"Yeah, I'll tell em that there new shell is a winner." "Anyway you guys look like hell, best get some rest and resume the cleansing of this town so we can move on to the next."
As they made their way back to the hotel which had become their headquarters, Daniael felt as if they were being watched by a powerful entity. An entity that was neither vampire, nor werewolf, but what could it be? As Daniael asked himself these questions, he spotted Racheal crying in an alleyway. Not sure if he should act he stood in the shadow of a stall, and watched her with empathy.

Both left the hotel room. They carried nothing with them. Allucard placed one arm over Rave’s shoulders as they walked down the corridor. “What’s wrong?” she asked him. He didn’t answer right away. They got in the elevator.
“We have some unexpected visitors. So it would be best if we left as soon as possible. I find no use in causing a disturbance,” the elevator doors opened, and they proceeded out into the lobby. Rave clutched her hand to her side and winced. “Are you all right?”
“I feel uneasy…let’s just leave, all right?” She pushed a few strands of stray brown hair from her face and continued to walk to the front desk

Daniael approached Racheal cautiously not wanting to invoke her anger or her reflexes. As he approached her crying ceased but her face still stared at the pavement. As Daniael took her in his arms she relinquished the facade and held on to him, for once in her life she was relying on someone else for support. It was then at that moment that Daniael caught the scent of something foul in the direction of the hotel. He then noticed Lauria running at full pace towards them, when she got there she looked at Racheal then Daniael.
"Daniael, did you smell that? It's a very powerful vampire, and even worse it's coming from the hotel." "I'm not sure about you but I remember an absence of vampires from the hotel."
"Yeah, now that you mention it I do smell it and it is powerful, we can't let this one slip through our fingers. I want you to engage the target but only delay it so that we can all reach you in time to finish it, Got that?"
"Yes, sir, you contact the others and I'll run ahead."
Given her orders Lauria saluted and ran off disappearing out of sight when she rounded a bend in the road.
"Racheal, are you OK?"
"Yes, sniffling, we best go, we got a job to do, gotta stop that vampire."
"OK," Daniael lifts his had to his earphone "Takeda, answer, are you there? We have a possible master back at HQ, do you copy?"
"Takeda here, I copy, I'll inform the others, you sent Lauria ahead correct?"
"Yes, with explicit orders to stall the target until reinforcements arrive."
"Got that, Takeda out."
Daniael then turned to Racheal who was ahead of him about a block, she turned around and motioned for Daniael to hurry.
Lauria was dashing as fast as her body would allow as she raced to the hotel she looked much like a sleek and elegant feline in her skin tight leather. She raced past building after building until they became a blur to her, sensing that the target was moving she pushed herself to the breaking point. As she approached the hotel the scent grew stronger and stronger, she began to see why Daniael told her just to delay the target. When the hotel was in view she saw no one out side the building, instead the scent was coming from the door and windows.
"At least he hasn't left yet, sniffing, man if I was still a servant that smell would be intoxicating." Lauria lifts her hand to her earphone "Guys hurry up he's still inside, sniffing, and I can smell the scent of a servant, he is a master after all, so hurry up I don't want to be here all alone when he comes out."
Lauria then waited within sight of the door, waiting for the target to exit into the street.

Rave’s footing was slightly off as she walked away from the front desk. “Master Allucard…I feel so dizzy…” Allucard arched one eyebrow. With memories and past reawakened, she would go through some changes. Her body was forced to adapt to the soul inside of it. It had already happened once; her wings had formed and vanished just as quickly. He could hear her heart racing. The receptionist peered over the desk with a concerned expression upon her face.
“Is she all right?” Allucard looked at the woman, and placed a hand on her face. He looked at her carefully, “Not your concern. Sleep now.” The receptionist fell asleep and flopped back into her chair. Damn it Ravelyn, bad time to unlock closed doors. He picked the girl up once again. Her eyes had gone white, and she was breathing heavily.
Allucard gritted his teeth, and opened the doors to exit the hotel. He walked down the steps. Ravelyn, listen to me. Hear my voice. This is not the time for this. I know something frightened you in there, but you have to learn how to control it. You can’t unleash what’s inside of you ever time you get scared…Your safe with me all right?
Ravelyn’s breathing calmed slightly, but her eyes did not change. He sat on the steps with her in his arms. “Master…Allucard. Don’t you hear that wonderful singing? Can’t you hear my song?”
Allucard paused. What does she mean? She’s not singing. At least, I can’t hear her. He closed his eyes. There it was. Again…again… a faint whisper of a Enoch melody playing in her mind. It was one she used to sing so long ago. That song, that song was for someone.
“Yes, I hear it,” he replied softly. He then noticed something about Rave. She had grown up. She looked twenty three, her eyes had lost their childish flair, and her lips had taken on their own sultry form. Her hair was straight, untangled, and curled gently on the ends. She was a beautiful woman.. The moon rose above the city, and a breeze swept through the air. It was a beautiful night.

Lauria waited patiently for her query to exit the building, as she waited on the roof of a building opposite the street to the hotel. It seemed like an eternity but she saw the target exit with a young woman in his arms. She then watched as he sat down and examined the woman. In this moment Luaria moved her hand to her earphone and called the others.
"Target is out side, I repeat target is in the street, I'm moving to intercept."
"OK, but be careful, we need you to stall him, not get killed."
"I know, I'll be safe, I promise."
Lauria then grabbed her tetsugen and leapt from the building, landing lightly on the street below. She the moved silently to the dark man before her, she knew he may be strong, but she had her orders to keep him there as long as possible.
"Hello, Vampire, would you like me to put you out of your misery or pleasure, chukling." "Lets dance!"
She then lashed her tetsugen at the vampire...

Allucard’s eyes lit up as he saw the woman approaching. He remained sitting, Ravelyn within his arms. “I wouldn’t come any closer child; she isn’t in a state to be scared right now…” He looked at Rave, whose eyes had not changed back. She was still nervous. And he saw the words register within her eyes. He saw them very clearly. He set her softly on the ground.
He watched as the young one lashed out her tetsugen at him. A wire weapon? Is that all she brought? You’ve got to be kidding me. Allucard laughed slightly. “Why are you trying to kill me? Just wondering. You know, if you persist you will wind up dead. I’m offering you the chance to get away. If it were a different time, I’d probably accept your challenge, however, see that woman over there? She needs a bit of help right now.”
He looked over to Ravelyn, who had seemingly gone unconscious.

Lauria recoils her tetsugen, and looks into the vampires eyes. She lifts her hand to her earphone and removes it. She then throws it to the ground and chrushes it under foot.
"Chuckling, you're quite an arrogant vampire, what's your name? I must know."
Lauria then bares her own fangs showing them to the shadowy vampire.
"Dead? You can't kill that which is all ready dead, I'm suprised you didn't smell me, or else you'd know exactly what I am and why I have to kill you. Don't take it personally, you see this is my job, my destiney, and there is no changeing the mind of this Silver Knight."
"I'd like to continue this discussion, but you've over stayed your welcome in this world, and I'm here to return you to your grave for the final time."
Lauria then uncoils her tetsugen again and prepares to attack.
"Oh, and as for the girl I'll take care of her after I've killed you."

“You are not deserving of my name. Fledgling, that’s all you are. A pawn. You have much to learn little girl. As for your scent, its rather appalling. Perhaps you should shower more often,” he raised his eyebrow. “As for the girl, you won’t touch her…” He laughed at her. “You know I’ve heard of the Silver Knights, but I wouldn’t expect a vampire to be with them. You could say the same about me, however. You wouldn’t expect me to be with the Order, now would you?”
The Order of Athalius was what he was referring to. It didn’t necessarily target vampires, only those, and other demons, which were out of control. It was an elite Order consisting of five main people. Allucard was one of them. He looked at Ravelyn. She seemed to be stirring. But something was different about her. He sensed what was within her…it was strong.
Ravelyn got up shakily, her breathing still not recovered. Her eyes, completely white, singled out the woman before her, Allucard standing between them. She said nothing. She stared at her.

At that moment Daniael arrived followed by the others. Daniael motioned for them to remain where they were, and so they did. Daniael moved next to Lauria smelling the air as he approached.
"Low pitch growl, Lauria, step back, let me deal with him."
"No, he insulted me, and he's gonna pay." "So vampire you don't like my scent is it, well I don't much care what a blood sucking demon like you has to say. I may not be a full blood, but at least I don't feed off humans like a parasite, you filthy cock sucking bastard..."
Daniael then stepped in front of Lauria and glared at her over his shoulder. She then backed off and for once in her life fell silent. Daniael then looked back at the vampire and sniffed the air once again.
"I don't know who you are, or what organization you clam to belong to, all I know blood sucker is that if you touch a human being, then we have a problem. And I'm not sure about comrades here but I don't have any personal agenda against vampires, sense I've never suffered at the hands of one of your kind."
Daniael then looked at the girl and sniffed the air, he then remembered the feeling he had on his way back to the base. He was getting that feeling all over again looking into her strange blank eyes. He then remembered that the vampire was still standing in front of him.
"As I said before I don't know who you are, but I know what you are. As for the girl, I can tell she's no "normal" servant, werewolf, or ghoul. So she is of no coincidence to us. But as for you, you are of coincidence, and I can't allow you to continue living." "So, are you going to go peacefully or do we have to get physical."
Daniael then began to transform before the vampires eyes, he had transformed plenty of times before but this time he felt a strange energy flow into him, an energy he didn't understand. But all he knew was that he was face to face with a master vampire, and that he would have to kill him, in the name of the Silver Order, and in the protection of humanity.

(ooc: not at the moment. Poor Ravie would get quite a shock. Wait till a little later on, k?)
Allucard looked nervous, not at the two standing before him, but the woman behind him. “First of all, I don’t drink blood from humans…” He flashed a bloodstone in front of their eyes. It was Qui’s stone, had it not been? “Advances made by this young lady a long time ago allowed for three ancients to possess them…but you wouldn’t know about it would you. You are two young to know.”
He looked back at Ravelyn, and shifted. She hadn’t moved since. He could hear her heart beat racing faster and faster. Damn… “As for the woman standing behind me, she is your leader; empress of this land. She’s had quite a rough journey, but I believe it would be wise not to piss her off. Now since your little fledgling threatened her, I am rather upset. She could care less. But your threats toward me are quite another story…”
He growled, his fangs, bone white in the light of the moon, showing brilliantly. He stepped forward but stopped short. A painful piercing sound. He clutched his head and winced. He saw a light in the corner of his eye, and saw Ravelyn, standing there. There was no hesitation this time. Her wings ripped through the skin on her back, a few feathers dropping to the ground. They stretched outward, and contracted.
Ooooo… Allucard remarked to himself. I feel her essence even here… “Azrael!” Her head turned immediately at his comment. So you really have returned. You recognize your name…you recognize who you were…and what you were. The pain continued, until Allucard was on the ground. She walked over to him, and offered him her hand. He reached up, taking it. Suddenly the pain stopped. He stood up.
“Affects those with sensitive hearing,” she explained with a blank expression. She stepped in front of Allucard, and let go of his hand. The pain returned instantly, and he was brought to the ground. Even for an ancient like him, the sound was undeniably high pitched. She looked at the man and woman, standing in front of her making their threats and comments. “As for you. You should run along now, and out of my nation. Those who group races with alignment know nothing. I have changed over time in form, and not once has my soul changed. Now threatening to kill someone without them doing anything, simply for being what they are is the sign of an idiot. You think that you are slaying vampires and demons every night in the name of justice. You are nothing but fools to do so, and an affront to God! I don’t want to shed your blood, but continue without your mind completely attuned to the soul, I will draw my sword against you.”
The piercing noise stopped, and Allucard struggled to stand up. There was a ringing through his mind. He could hear her singing so loudly. She remained in front of him, her white eyes unmoving…her body motionless as she waited.

Daniael narrowed his vision on the young and beautiful woman before him, he then looked at the vampire. He the patiently waited for the woman to stop her speech.
"First, she is not my queen, second, I have read much on the subject of the blood stones in the Order's archive. They were believed lost, and now that I have seen one I must know, How did you obtain it?" "As for you ... girl, I do not know what plane of existence you come from but only a fool would assume a Knight of the Silver Order ignorant, we do not go around slaying every vampire that we see, without purpose." "If your vampire is not a threat then let him prove it, what do you say."
Daniael then removed a silver cross from around his neck and as he did so it hissed as it burnt his flesh, but years of such reactions had made him tolerant to the touch of silver. He then held it out before the vampire and motioned for him to take it.
"You see this cross, it has the ability to tell the allegiance of the one who holds it, if you hold it to you heart and the gem does not turn then you are innocent, if you refuse to touch it or if the gem changes then we know you serve the darkness, so what will it be? A chance to show your innocence, or a battle?"

Ravelyn spoke up again. “Correction. I am. You are in my land; you are in Summerset, the center of the three Shentavo Empires. That is Qui’s bloodstone, and I remember now. I remember… Allucard had taken it from him so you could stop his bloodlust…” She chuckled. Her form was still changing. Her hands and lower arm had symbols on them, advanced Enoch it would seem. The back of her black shirt was torn from her wings. She stepped towards Daniel, and looked into his eyes. She placed a hand on his face, and whispered softly. “I never said that he wasn’t a threat. I just said he hasn’t done anything to deserve this.”
“Ravelyn, easy now. You’re heart rate is way to fast for normal, even for you,” Allucard stepped towards her. “If they want me to prove my conscious clear, than I will. I find no need for it, but I really don’t want to see you hurt. Can’t you see that? You were out for quite a long time after you pulled that last stunt of yours. Listen to me, you have to withdraw your wings right now…there is way too much energy inside of you…”
“Allucard,” she said, walking back to him, folding her wings behind her back. “I can not stand for their threats against you.”
“And I you either, but listen to me right now. Even for an angel of death, even for you Azrael, you can’t handle this much right now.” She held out her hand and her sword formed within her hand. The blade seemed as if it were made of diamond, with a white hilt and silver hatching. Stand down, Allucard. Allucard closed his eyes, and silently thought Forgive me for doing this…
He came up behind her, wrapping his arms over her shoulders as her wings unfolded to accommodate him. He placed one hand on her forehead. “Sleep…” Her eyes widened, and then closed. She fell to the ground, wings deteriorating into feathers upon the ground. The symbols on her arms disappeared, and her heart rate began to slow. Her breathing began to return to normal. It’s too much for you to handle so quickly… She needs rest. She can’t always worry about me…I can take care of myself. But if I recall, earlier, I had always taken care of her. Allucard smiled, then took the bloodstone from his pocket. He bit down on it, his fangs penetrating to the core. His eyes turned red.
“I told you that now was not a good time,” He looked at the two of them, and put away the stone to pick up the girl. There was a bit of anger within his eyes. “And if she dies because of your petty threats…I won’t be the only one that is unforgiving.” He picked up Rave within his arms. Her skin was ashen, and she was rather cold. I need to get you to a church… He looked at the two. “Let me pass. She needs help…please.”

Daniael looking at the young girl decided that the risks didn't out weight the consequences and stepped aside. Only to reveal an angered Lauria who had advanced while all three of them were preoccupied. As she stood there she stared directly into Allucard's eyes, she then steeped toward him in an aggressive manner. Daniael sensing her anger and frustration grabbed Lauria by the arm and warned her.
"Lauria, stand down you saw what happened, and you have your orders."
Lauria acted as if she didn't hear him and advanced closer. Clinching her fist she threw a punch at Allucard's face with all her might, only to be stopped by Daniael's free hand. Daniael then crossed Lauria's hands in front of her and drug her to his chest, embracing her. She fought against him but lost out and stood there wrapped in his arms glaring madly at Allucard.
"You ... filthy monster, I don't care who you are or whether you're innocent or not. You all deserve to die for what you did to me, the way you raped my mother then killed her as she gave birth to me, you all deserve to pay ... crying ... you all deserve to pay."
After her outburst Lauria began to weep uncontrollably and fell to her knees, and in this moment she found comfort in Daniael's arms. As Lauria wept onto Daniael's shoulder, Daniael looked at Allucard and the girl in his arms ... the angel ... Azrael.
"Leave before she regains her strength, you may be innocent, but that doesn't make you free. As for Azrael... see to her, she will be needed ... because not even you can foresee the peril to come."

“I am free here. There was a pact made long ago in this nation…the Shentavo family was one of ancient bloodline…of vampires. They kept the lower ranked vampires out, and used bloodstones to sustain themselves. Since her death,” he looked at Rave. “Chaos. That’s why I kill my own kind; they are not worthy to be here…”
He stood up with Ravelyn in his arms. “As for you,” he looked at Lauria. “I did nothing to your mother.” He turned down the sidewalk and broke out into a run. He had no time to deal with anything else. His only concern for the moment was the girl in his arms.
The Athalian Church stood in front of them. Allucard rushed up the steps, and the ringing sound grew louder in his head. He opened the doors, and stepped inside, ignoring the pain. He set her down at the front of the church, and waited.

As Allucard left Daniael and his group entered the hotel, by then Daniael had resumed his human form and took Lauria up to her room. He then asked Micheal and Racheal to watch her. He then moved on to Takeda's room.
"Takeda get out here."
Takeda moved to the door silently and opened it without sound. He then stood before Daniael and looked at him in his eyes.
"Takeda, keep an eye on Allucard, he may be innocent but that doesn't mean that he's not a threat, should he discover you do not engage, do you understand?"
"Yes, sir, I understand, I will watch them from the shadows."
When Takeda finished he dissappeared into the hall and left through the shadows.
"I hope he can keep out of trouble."
As takeda made his way through the shadows he saw the church that Allucard enterd. He stalked in and watched from the ceiling beams, as he watched them he faded deeper and deeper into the shadows, and waited there for him to move.

Ravelyn suddenly woke up, coughing at first. She shivered, as if she were cold. Allucard sat down next to her, placing his arms around her shoulders to steady here. Her eyes had returned to normal, and the wounds on her back were healing surprisingly quickly. She looked at Allucard, and closed her eyes. He felt her skin, and felt the warmth slowly returning.
“You can’t pull stuff like that Ravelyn, not when your soul is first awakening. These things take time. Being an angel of death wasn’t easy before…you can’t rush into it, especially over me.” He bent down and kissed her cheek.
“Vaughn?” she asked softly. Allucard looked at her with an awkward expression. He shook his head, and told her than he was not Vaughn. “No…Vaughn is here…he passed into the shadows. He was always doing that to keep me from getting in trouble.”
“Ravelyn, Vaughn is dead.” She looked hurt, and closed her eyes once more. Allucard stood up. At least she is recovering. A priest entered the chapel through the back door, and nearly dropped his bible when he saw Allucard and the girl. Allucard smiled. “Cougaji…”
“Allucard…is this her?” The priest advanced, his short white hair falling slightly over his two toned eyes. His pale skin was almost as white as his robes.
“Yes, it’s her all right. Apparently she doesn’t like staying dead now does she?” The priest looked at Allucard for a moment, and then scoffed at him.
“You drank from my bloodstone you bastard.” He said with a smile, looking Allucard’s eyes. “Well, I really have no use for it now. I don’t like staying dead, and I still am. Guess I inherited that little strand of DNA from my father. He stayed dead.”
“Listen, Qui, you want to heal the girl or not? Because if you are just going to stand there and discuss the matter, she could die.”
“Easy now. It’s bad enough that I have to face my own death, let alone my mother’s. It’s worse that I have to accept that you are screwing her.” He gave Allucard a glance, and shifted towards Ravelyn.
“To tell you the truth, we haven’t really gotten to that.”
“I can see into your mind Allucard. You’ve thought about it more than once…and your thoughts usually coincide with your actions, if I remember correctly.”
“Just shut up and help her out, ok?” Qui smiled playfully, his fangs playing on his lower lip. One wing unfurled from his back, and the other was severed three quarters of the way down. His wing and ¼ were completely black. He bent over Ravelyn. Angelic words passed through his mouth without hesitation. He placed his hand over her heart, and a dull light was emitted.
Her eyes opened to see Qui’s face directly above hers. “Hello, mother.” And then…he was gone.

As Takeda shifted in the cross beams he could see the events pass below. He knew who the girl was and who Allucard was, he had done much research on ancient vampire lore. But this priest, he was new, one he knew nothing about. And Takeda prided himself on being knowledgeable, so he moved silently forward to listen to the conversation more intently. He silently and stealthily slipped right above them, wrapped in shadow his presence went unnoticed ... for now. As he listened he got the feeling of an even stronger presence nearby, a demon of immense power. But he had his orders to observe Allucard, and he was duty bound to obey them to the letter.

Deep blue eyes watched the shadowed figure moving in the rafters from the upper floor, where the organ sat in the church. He watched as a small bit of dust slipped from under the foot of the figure and fell silently to the floor of the church. Silently, Sigrun watched the cloaked figure move closer to where an ancient and a young woman were located in the chuch. Yet the figure still remained in the rafters.
A hand extended and released a translucent spell that snaked its way up to the figure from behind, moving ever so silently, ever so undetected. The spell silently wove itself around the figure's torso and throat, and remained still. It did not clench down, in fact the figure would not realize he was being surrounded by it.
It would wait for its master's command patiently.
In the shadows of the upper floor, the elf remained, unseen for the moment as he was covered in the dark shadows...
His eyes watched the two figures below him silently...

Takeda then felt a fainter presence, a presence in the shadows of the building much the same as he. Using an old ninja technique he entered the shadow realm, through which none could see or sense him. It would be as if he disappeared entirely.

She looked at Allucard. “I realize I’m not in a position to take on my original form, but every time I do, I feel stronger. I feel my memories returning.”
Allucard helped her up. “We have to go, I feel that Lauria girl will cause you a bit of trouble. She has placed her anger on every vampire since the death of her mother.”
“One of those, eh?” She asked with a smile. “Well if she gives you any trouble, be sure to let me know. This nation is under Shentavo control, and I will not allow this ‘order’ to continue.”
“You really have returned, haven’t you…” he wrapped his arm over her shoulder. She nodded. “In that case…time to get you into the city. "You should rest before you make a move," Allucard said, exiting the church, helping Ravelyn walk. The city wasn’t too far away, and Allucard was not tired. He still had the blood from the bloodstone running strongly though his veins. It brought his bloodlust to the surface. He looked at Rave, and turned his head slightly away. How tempting had she become, how very tempting the veins were underneath the soft white flesh of her neck. He would not allow himself to succumb to his desires.
They came to an apartment near the center of the city. When questioned about how many residences he held, he laughed, and said enough to always have a place to stay. Ravelyn looked around the room, the mirror catching her fancy. Allucard’s reflection could not be seen in it. Allucard took of his jacket. “You know that if someone I don’t like uses those bloodstones, my blood can be manipulated out of them, or even control them…” She smiled.
“Yes, but I would hope you like me enough to leave me intact…” He chuckled, and felt something inside his chest. He was pulled across the room to her by the mirror. He looked at her unsure. “what…are you doing? You need to be resting, not testing your strengths…”
“Do you feel it?” She wrapped her arms around his neck. “The bloodlust setting in? You can hear my heart beating louder, and it echoes through your mind, doesn’t it? You recall how sweet it tasted when your lips first set upon the bloodstone. Mr. Zakuto, you are trembling? How long can you hold out…”
He tore himself away. “I can not bare the thought of hurting you…You are not food to me, my dear, you are my heart. Do you think it is fun to play these games with me? To tempt me to no end to take your blood?”
“I’m not tempting, I am offering.” She smiled softly, her innocent smile and a flash behind her silvery eyes. “You know for a fact that the blood in my veins is sweeter than even that stone you now carry. I know you’re not going to kill me, and it would only be the second time I’ve been bitten. So come on…if I didn’t want to, I wouldn’t have called you to me.”
“You know,” he drew his arms around her tightly. “There is something wrong in two alpha dogs getting together…because eventually one has to submit. The question is…” a smile slid across his face. “who is it going to be…”

As Allucard left with Ravelyn Takeda knew he must follow. But what to do with this intruder? Takeda knew that if he killed him that Allucard would smell the blood, and if he waited for an answer Allucard would escape. So he decided to leave before Allucard totally escaped.
"This is your lucky night, but do not think yourself victorious."
Takeda then slipped back in to the shadows and followed Allucard. As he did he noticed that Allucard was acting differently as if he was intoxicated. (O_o what would make you say that? ^_~)
Allucard parted his lips slightly at first, then opened his mouth to bit down on the girls neck. She winced at first, but before she had died before, she had been bitten more than once from her kin.
Ravelyn opened her eyes and looked in the mirror to see that she was the only one there. This brought a smile to her face. Her blood flowed through his veins, and was indeed very intoxicating. He pulled back, his eyes two black orbs with a red ring around them.
She kissed him as the wound closed, tasting her own blood from his lips. She was not a vampire, but she had been before...and she remembered that taste. For her to become a vampire, she would have to take his blood, and she did not, nor planned on it...but knew the opportunity had always presented itself.
"Would you too stop it!" Qui pretended to shield his eyes as he walked through the door and entered the room. "God it was bad enough with you in the room next to mine at the academy, I don't need this here." He walked through the base of the bed which was in the room to the window.
"Qui," Rave stood up and looked at him. He smiled. "How exactly did you die?"
"You remember that little apocaplypse thing you pulled?...well I was trying to save Sarah at that time and my own self from Daja until I felt hell rip through me, tear me apart and say, here you go. you're not going to heaven or hell, have fun here."
"Funny, they let me into heaven," Ravelyn said softly.
"That's different. You weren't like I was..."
"That's true." she leaned back on Allucard.
"Listen Qui," he said, showing his fangs. "We were a little busy..."
"Allucard, that's my mother you are holding right there. If you think I'm gonna watch you bite her again, you are really stupid. You can, if she lets you, just not in front of me."

The thought of apocalypse and the freedom it ensured made him wonder which side was righteous after all, but ever since that day, since this ninja boy called out he was bound by the will of the body he resided in. And he had grown quite fond of the mortal's this body meet.
"Why do you still find peace here? You and I are the same are we not?"
"Yes, ever since you called out to me we became one, but like you darkness offers me protection. And like you I must feel secure, or else I feel threatened."
"Yeah, you're a funny one, you are, you do love those around you don't you?"

"I'll stop him before he does that, I'll kill him ... if I must."

Allucard nearly fell to the floor. “What the…Are we ever going to get to be alone? Has ANYONE heard of knocking?!” He sat down at the edge of the bed. He felt no harm was intended with this arrival. Ravelyn didn’t seem nervous, and she didn’t prepare to fight, so he figured that she somehow could see his intent.
Ravelyn tilted her head, and stepped forward, leaning in a bit, her eyes flashing white momentarily, and she smiled. “It could be the fact that I no longer possess my fangs. Or perhaps it was because I’ve lost nearly everyone close to me, including my fiancé and my son. I’m not sure what it is. My memory is still a little shaky, so you can understand my not recognizing you directly.”

“Memory…orbs?” she sat in silence for several seconds, trying to reach into the recesses of her mind. Suddenly, she flashed back. She saw exactly what Sigrun had seen those many many years ago. She reflected on her own memories. They were the same memories that had scared him when he had first seen them. Ravelyn had about the same reaction.
She saw Vaughn again.
She remembered him, looking at the orbs in wonder. She did not remember how she had made them. That was too far, and too feint a memory to ever recall. But Vaughn was another story. She could remember everything about him. The way he smiled…his eyes. Everything.
“Vaughn…” She opened her eyes, realizing a tear had fallen from her left eye, she wiped it away with her fingertips. She stood up, and knew who the person standing before her was. She hugged him tightly. Maximus…

Sigrun embraced Ravelyn in return, holding her tightly. He smiled. She had remembered who he was. Sigrun raised his eyes to Allucard, who seemed confused by the moment.
Finally, the two broke their embrace and stood back, looking over each other with long-established respect. Ravelyn had tears still slipping down her cheeks. Sigrun wiped them off, studying her eyes,
"You cry not because of me, but because of him..." he said softly.
Sigrun didn't know what else to say, the moment was almost beyond words.

In a sense, even though Ravelyn was pure, she seemed so broken, so distraught. She seemed like half herself. Without her darker side to balance her, she would never be able to be what she used to be. That’s what was different about her. She had lost all things she had gained when she became a vampire so long ago. Now she had simply her wings, and it didn’t seem right to her. But that might not have been the real thing that was missing.
And she touched his hand…and he saw.
"Is it confirmed?
- Yes, sir.
- So... Michael Vaughn is finally dead. Good news indeed.
- Indeed, sir.
- Do we still have those sample tissues?
- I had the laboratory prepared, sir.
- Gooooood! Very Good. Start the cloning program then.
- Err... Sir... Are you sure about this?
- If I'm sure? Oh yes! Yes, I am. It's not because they couldn't control her that we won't be able to. Are all the security controls in order?
- Of course, sir. I have all the scanners ready. If there's any magical activity, subject gets killed instantly.
- Perfect. Now that Vaughn is dead, the United Corporations are ours. Now is our time."
Yakomo Asiko stood up and looked at the city throughout the gigantic windows.
"That's quite a view we have from the top of the Tower, isn't it?
- Yes, sir.
- The top of the food chain now," Asiko muttered to himself. "All right, let's get the CASSANDRA project started." (ooc: reference to the Lotus thread )
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I couldn't do anything. I was just there to watch. I hate that. I hate her. All my soul is pure hatred now.
How they came in my cell, I have no clue. But my daughter was already so weak. Why had he let her come in? He should have let her outside. Why did she try to release me? Why? Why!?!
Then he finally realized. Isn't that purely Shentavo? To understand consequences only when they do come right into your face? He saw her dead and then he decided to act. He finally did what he should have always done: he consumed Cecilia from the inside. Consumed her to death I hope.
Now, of course, he consumed me. But isn't that purely Shentavo? To destroy the entire place just to get rid of one target?
I feel so detached now. I know the other me is dead. Vaughn is no more and, with him, what was left of my humanity (if I ever got some) is gone I fear.
I feel nothing. I don't fell anything anymore. Am I dead? Am I really destroyed? Then why wouldn't I have lost consciouness? What is happening to me? What is to become of the "great" Zacharian?

And what is this?
-corrupt human leadership, obviously.
You think that she'll make it in time?
-of couse, unless Cougaji mess up something. That daughter of his, Nikita, is more fragile than she seems.
Should we kill her?
-In all the times you've seen me work, kaos, I've never sided with Azrael, but right now, it would be foolish to side against her.
Can she be killed?
-Of course, you know how too. And that other part that is keeping her here is still alive.
You mean Zacharian?
-of course. That bitch won't die unless you kill of Zacharian to.
So why don't I kill him.
-Let him live.
You're always a pacifist, aren't you Lotus (name sounds familiar right?)
-till the end.

My eyes were burning white, I could already tell. I needed to feed, but my bloodstone was shattered. I needed to rest, but there was no rest to be offered. I could not travel by flight, my wings were broken. I would not let this end like this. It couldn't end like this.
I promise. I repeat. He'll here my message, or I will go by the gods to make it be heard. Just don't give up on me yet.

"Easy, easy. Rest. I doubt you have enough strength for running a marathon right now.
- I... I...
- You... you..." the other replied with a joking tone. "Well, sir, you're just getting out of the blue, so I suggest you don't speak... err... send."
The etheral form walked around me. Its shape was unable to comprehend, as if it was always in movement, pulsating.
"Who... who are you?
- Who I am?" the form replied, giggling. "Well, first I'm quite disapointed you forgot me and, second, the good question would rather be: where are we?
- You... you didn't answer." I insisted.
"Would I look better with horns and bat wings?" he answered. "Though that's not my form anymore." the being looked at what could have been its arms. "Not that I look like anything tangible right now. I guess this damn japanese ninja would laugh at me big time if he could see me."
Could it have been...?
"Azerzdat?
- The one and only." the form answered. "Maybe alive... dunno... definitly in need of kicking." he approached me." But don't worry, rest. You need to."
A friend. I was with a friend.
I collapsed.
Definately. Lotus, this woman will be the perfect tool. She renounced her throne, and even more so, makes her now a threat.
She won't hurt the innocent.
She'll do anything she can to get to him.
I don't think your right. I think she wouldn't, because he wouldn't want her to do so.
You got something there....
I always do. I know her the best after all.
Perhaps that's true. Even so, should we intervene?
No, let's just wait and see...what about her son?

"Cougaji?" a voice said from behind Qui. Qui turned around and smiled widely. "It's been a long time since I've been called that, Ryouko."
"Just Lotus now..." He smiled. Lotus was 6"1 with light blonde hair and grey eyes.
"I'd thought you had become displacent..." Qui said. Lotus walked around him, and placed a grip on his tattered wing, then looked at the blood on his hand.
"Are you in need of healing?"
"Very much so. I'm catching on though. My mother isn't dead, because her body is still here? Am I correct?"
"Indeed."
"And if that is true, and you are here, the only reason a god would intervene, even a lesser one, is because she's grown to strong for Kaos."
"Your on the right track."
"So you need me to stop her?"
"Only if things get out of hand. Kaos had fed her power as he always has, but nothing has gone arry, that doesn't mean it won't."
"It's good to see you again Ryouko."
"And you Cougaji."
Both laughed a bit, and walked on. Lotus picked up Ravelyn's body in his arms, and Qui lit a cigarette.

GET DOWN FROM THERE THIS INSTANT KAOS!
Or what?
DON'T MAKE ME COME UP THERE!
Ooooo.. Azrael, you always were the feisty one. I suppose you'd attempt to kill me and take the heavens, eh?
No, *she smiled* but i may put you in a head lock for quite some time.
I never thought you would anyway.
Kaos jumped down from a spire and landed right next to Ravelyn. He was tall with dark black unkempt hair and red eyes. He had a scar running across his face and looked quite young. He was quite the charmer, might even give Qui a run for his money.
“Wow, would have never recognized you Azrael…” he said, walking around her. “That lustrous auburn hair, those sanguine colored eyes, those flushed cheeks, those trembling lips. You know Azrael… you are beautiful when your angry at me.” Ravelyn shook her head and hugged Kaos. “It’s been a long time, hasn’t it, hun?”
“Mmmhmmm…” she said, muffled in his shoulder. “You didn’t change a bit.”
“Your wings don’t look so good,” he said in observance.
“Both were kind of torn of, ya know? With the apocalypse and all.”
“Oh yes, your apocalypse, how did that go? I was a bit worried about that.”
“It didn’t. The world is still there. Michael saved me.”
“I know. Well, do you want me to finish the job that it started on you?”
“Yes…it really does hurt.” With that Kaos reached behind her back, and his hand settled on her right wing. In a quick burst of power, he ripped it from her back. She didn’t let out a cry, only a tear from her left eye. As he had done with the right, he did to the left. “Bloody hell that hurt…” Ravelyn muttered as he began to heal her back.
“They are no use to you know, being severed already for the most part.”
“I could use them.”
“How?”
“A feather duster, maybe?” Kaos laughed at her remark and hugged her once again.
“You really haven’t changed when I come to think of us. You were the most rebellious of all of us. And I’m the one that was named Kaos.” She laughed. “Are you going to be all right?” She nodded. “You sure?” She nodded again. “Do I have to make you smile again?” she shook her head.
“Why are you talking to me like I’m a grown up for?” she said with a wide grin.
“Oh, sorry childr…um…well, you’re not exactly a little angel anymore. You’re all grown up.”
“I know. I know. But I need the keys.”
“To the car?” She pushed him lightly. He then realized she was serious. “I can’t…” He looked at her stern expression. “Ok beautiful, their yours, but only for now.” He handed her a white orb.
“Thanks, love.” She said, and backed away.
“Won’t you stay for tea?” he joked.
“Only if its Lotus.” With that she vanished.

"You can't beat a god, even a lesser one."
"Well, let's see..."
Both jumped off.

It's at that very moment that Qui's head began to hurt. A violent, brutal, incredible burst of pain. As if if very soul was being torn.
He heard a breathe inside. A dying breathe.
Then the pain went away but a strange black fume was pouring out of his nose... like... shadows...
Qui writhed in pain, and was now unable to concentrate at the task in hand. It was a blinding pain.
Lotus' eyes widened in suprise. Seconds before they got close enought to the ground, he grabbed Qui, and stopped both of them.
Who's after you Cougaji... Lotus said to himself, seeing very well that Qui had passed out. Qui had passed out!?! Thats a first in all of history. Lotus touch made the shadows stop, but maybe that was all ther was. He looked at the shadows.
"All right now, who switched the lights off?"
Azerzdat's etheral presence got closer to mine. I could feel his energy near me but vision, or whatever it was that permitted us to look at one another, seemed to be lost.
"Jesus f--k, what's going on here?" the ex-demon added. Then he laughed. "If only I knew where we are," he muttered to himself.
"We are in the most unlikely place imaginable, I'm afraid," a new voice echoed all around us.
I felt Azerzdat's energy raising, ready for an attack. "And who is it that is talking now?" he asked loudly.
I tried to move but my old friend was right: I had lost far too much energy. I could still feel the fire onto my body as Rave was kissing my lips. Just a last kiss. Where are you my love?
"That's a question we'd better search the answer for later," the newcomer's voice said, as if the being had been able to read my mind. "You seem weaker than usual my poor Vaughn.
- Would you please ANSWER MY QUESTION?!?" Azerzdat yelled.
"Who am I? That's your question, right?
- Exactly," Azerzdat replied. If only I had enough energy, if only I could help him. "Who the f--k are you?
- Well, the answer is simple: I came with the shadow. I am Zacharian. I had no choice but to break into this place. I sensed something but I didn't think I would find you two here."
A silence followed.
"Now, what I'd like to know is what the Hell we're doing here.
- And... where would that be?" Azerzdat asked, his voice far less assured than usual.
"Between two ears, Azerzdat. Two Shentavo's ears. Into a mind that's purely unbreakable. We are trapped into Qui Shentavo's subconscious."

After the ordeal, Qui was swearing terribly. Lotus was suprised, for he swore worse than usually. Lotus looked at Qui. There was something else, inside of him. He attempted to get into Qui's mind, but he was thrown back.
"Jesus Christ!"
"What?" Qui said, "wincing."
"Your defences are really unbreakable, Cougaji?" Qui leaned back and inhaled once more on the cigarette.
"Yea. The only person that would able to have a direct connection with me is---"
"Azrael," Lotus interupted, finishing his sentense.
"Yea...mommy dearest." He smiled. "I don't suppose you can bring her back?"
"Not unless she wants to come back." Lotus looked at her body.
"So who's in my head."
"I dunno."
"how'd they get there?"
"Any one you care about lost from you recently?"
Qui thought for a moment... "Yea.... Zacharian...Vaughn..." he admitted after a while.
"Where the hell is that devil of an angel, anyway?" Lotus questioned. Kaos, you didn't do anything?
Don't look at me...she left in search of you.
No. She left in search of Vaughn. He’s not dead.

Yakomo Asiko was staring at the panels. All the indicators seemed mad.
"What is going on, Doctor?" he asked.
Dr. Konaki turned to face Asiko. He didn't like the man. Asiko had climbed all the way up to the top position at the WP Corporations and, now that Michael Vaughn was no more, there was no doubt he would sit in the chair. Asiko would soon be President of the United Corporations, no doubt about that. In that regard, it would have been ill-advised not to side with him.
"We already have 90% of the subjects in a coma. I don't know what's going on. Except subject #7 seems to be alive but her readings are incredibly erratic.
- Any magical activity?
- Not that we spot.
- So keep going with the experiment."
Konaki turned back at the technicians. He wondered where those samples were coming from.
From Vaughn's appartments, that's all I know, he thought.
"Inject Gloremol 17. 89 milligrams," he said.
"But... sir...
- Just do it," Konaki cut.
Deep inside the complex, in an ancient bunker Konaki had no clue who had built, subject number 7 received the injection.
"Where are you, my love?" the subject muttered.
Far from any eye, onto her forearm, the number 7 which had been tatooed several hours before began to change, taking the shape of a rose.
In the control center, everything went quiet and Yakomo Asiko smiled.
The experiment had been a success.
She heard it. Where are you my love? She heard it. Ravelyn had heard that as if it were spoken to her directly.
Immediately her mind reached out, searching and pin pointing. Narrowing and finding, until she found the location.
Suddenly, an alarm sounded in the facility. On every single survailance camera, nothing out of the ordinary could be seen. Wait, was there a glimpse of something passing on on of the cameras? The alarm system went off.
Vaughn may be dead, but his bitch isn't.

"Switch the ethereal field on!" he yelled.
A man, dressed in black who had stayed in a dark corner until now, stepped to a console and turned a button. An enormous sound echoed thoughout the base. The ethereal magnet came into play, set up that it was onto Azrael's soul frequencies.
"Done," the man said.
Good, good, Asiko thought. Now, let's see if she will resist or if she will get right into the body.
"It must work," he muttered to himself.
There was a problem. Azrael had fallen, and for Zacharian. Her soul did not change, but her signature did. It was something indescribable, and unplaceable. Ravelyn had very much materialized in a defying state. Her body no longer remained with Qui and Lotus. She was there, long auburn hair fell jagged right below her shoulder. Both her eyes were crimson, and her skin was light. Tendrils wrapped themselves starting with her arms, forming metal braces on her forearm. Blades formed of shining metal on both of the braces. They traveled up her outer thigh and wrapped around her waist, forming a black leather skirt around her waist. Tendrils traveled up more to wrap around her bosom, then around her neck, forming a backless halter. They wrapped around her ankles and up her calf, merging into black boots. While she had no wings, there almost seemed to be a light sheet of transparent energy of where they should have been.
She sensed the field, and responded with a deflection. Maybe they should try hells frequencies and get a better result, she thought to herself. Azrael, the angel of death, or the fallen angel. She was destined to fall, and now she had. She saw guards approaching her, and she clawed her way through them, slashing and slicing.
"IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT!" she screamed out. Another fell. "WHERE IS HE!" she screamed out again in total exasperation.
_____
....She doesn't know how fragile she is right now...
Asiko giggled nervously as he was watching his best marines fall in pieces on the floor through the surveillance system.
"Would have been far too simple, wouldn't it?" he whispered, more scared than he would have wanted to. He turned at the man in black. "Yakori," he said. "Get her busy while we find the correct settings."
Yakori bent at Asiko and walked out of the control center, drawing his katana out.
Everything is going as what was written, the self-made air elemental thought. Everything is going well.
"And you!" Asiko yelled at an orange-dressed technician. "Find the good frequencies. Now!"
There was quite some trouble finding the right frequencies. She kept changing. Her eye color turned to a brilliant blue, then into a green. Her hair phased into blond. Her signature kept changing, so rapidly.
"Yakori?" Rave looked at him confused. She noticed his change. He...wasn't the same. "Come on!" she beckoned.stepping over the dead's bodies, heads severed. "I will even go against you if you even strike once at me..."
"Let's get this over with. The faster I’m out of this lab the better...." she really hated labs or anything resembling them. It was her inborn fear.
Asiko chuckled.
"Of course you can't," he muttered. "Incompetents. I'm surrounded by them.
- Could you tell me what's going on?" Konaki asked.
- Not now, Doctor.
- But who is..." Konaki began to ask waving at the screens.
"I said: NOT NOW!"
Asiko stepped forward.
"All right, switch the AI on. Pattern search connected to the ethereal magnet."

Yakori bent at Rave.
"It's a pleasure to see you again, Ravelyn Vaughn," he said. "I have changed of master. Things have been strange lately. But I know we need me in that position."
he assumed a defending position.
"There are times when to rule, one must serve," he added with a kind smile. "Even you, Ravelyn Vaughn know about that."
Air began to turn around him.
"Some cells are a gateway to a better future."
Ravelyn's eyes narrowed. "I have served my entire life, just not a mortal life." Her blades gleamed in the light. "While some cells lead you to a better future, some just lead you to hell."
She smiled. "I can tell you which kind I am." Ravelyn smiled. No magic, not etheral or other. Ravelyn's fangs soon formed, and she grinned. It wasn't her soft smile, it was as if she were imitating Qui. It was vicious. She glared at him.
"You said you'd serve Vaughn until death...and Vaughn ISN'T DEAD."
An aura gathered around her, as a her wings spread out, or at least the energy of where they would have been, had kaos not changed that. She rushed toward Yakori.
"I have changed of master so that I can better serve the Vaughn family," Yakori whispered, preparing for combat as he knew Ravelyn would never listen. "I have failed once already and Vaughn's daughter was destroyed. I won't let that happen to his fiancée."
"I am his fiancée," Ravelyn said, and then tilted her head, stopping before Yakori with a haunting glare. “Oh, but you obviously didn’t hear that he married me.”
"I hear...him calling." she said softly. She turned around, and looked at the dead. She placed her hand forward, and the souls swirled up to return to the source at her guide.
She felt so feint. She felt herself falling. Then, everything went black.
_________
She's was too fragile to use the extent of her powers...
I'm watching over you Ravelyn. As much as you say you don't need me, I am....just like lotus is watching over Cougaji.

Qui sat next to Lotus. "My head hurts..." he whined. Qui whining is a mix between a whine and blind hatred. Kind of scary really.
"I can't do anything. Only Ravelyn can, and right now she's off my radar...probably not Kaos' though."
"How is the old boy, eh?"
"Same as always, twice as bad as you."
"You sure that's possible?"
"Not so sure." he smiled.
"So i take it there will be a reunion of the old gang soon?"
"Uh huh."
"Why?"
"The only reason our four entities are brought together."
"If anything i'd want to destroy rather than save."
"So does Kaos, that's why Azrael and i are here to balance things out...well, Azrael more than anything. Dont' get her mad."
"She always managed to be the mother, the friend, and the little sister of the group, didn't she?"
"MMMhmmmm."
"mmmm."

"So, Sir Dran, do we know of the progress of our hunter?"
"Yes, they are doing better then we thought they would, but unfortunately the troops we sent with them were inexperienced and fell quickly. I recommend that we send a veteran company in place of recruit companies. Do you agree, It will save us time and reduce the causality rating?"
"Yes, we agree, if any more troops are lost Daniael and his team are on their own. Oh and we have the new equipment developed, Ill send it with the soldiers to battle test it and give them a battle edge."
"Yes, agreed, all advances are to be put into the field as soon as testing results a useful product."
"Yes, acceptable, the only problem is that we are not having as many 'converts' as we predicted, what do you believe we should do about this loss of new 'converts'?"
"Simple, we use new technology to force them to serve our end, and when all is said and done, they can be returned to their cages. But the research and development center will need more funding, what do you propose?"
"We must redirect funds, and increase levies lower pay and salvage more of our machines. But we'll still need outside endorsements, how do you suppose we get said funds?"
"We ask the IRDC for funds, after all we are the ones who protect the sheep."
"Yes, but they must be made too see the price of neglect. Remove any hunter group from any area and let them receive the reports."
"Ok, how bout Daniael's, he's too much of a liability to afford."
"No, he must be allowed to remain where he is. He has Allucard to deal with."
"ALLUCARD! He's alive?"
"Yes, I fear so, even in ancient times he was more powerful then any demon or hunter, so we must continue to support Danuael in his hunt of this monstrosity."
"AGREE! ALLUCARD MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO MOVE!"
"Agreed."
"As for the soldiers, they will be the best we have, but we must not send anymore hunters into the area, or else we draw too much attention to it."
"Yes, high council must not learn of Allucards return, for they would be furious."
"Yes, and we need no their rath."
"Ok, send the major and his company with the new generation equipment to sector A72B56924."

"Tell them we'll be there when we get there, but for now tell them unless they like to swim for them to shut their lude mouths."
Major Jannja (German) turned around relieving a quite beautiful young woman dressed in a skin flight suit. She stood upon long lucious legs, splendid hips, a desirable navle, and rested he head upon her young plump breasts, and what a face to match, all toped off with flowing white hair.
"Lieutenant, go on, don't dodle, and quite drooling, it doesn't become an officer of your title."
"Yes, yes, mam, on my way, mam."
The lieutenant then left her gazing out the window with her one beautiful eye. Perhaps she would have the other if not for misfortune's wary gaze. But in place of her second eye was a metal plate held in place with leather straps, holding it to her delicate face.
"So Daniael, they send me to the rescue, I remember it when you were doing the rescuing."

Allucard stood up and turned Ravelyn to him. “I know that you can not have what you had for Vaughn for me. I know it is different in a way, and I know what loss feels like. All I ask is that you know that I love you…” He hugged her softly, and let her to Maximus. “I’m afraid I don’t have much food here, but I’m pretty sure there is some ambrosia around. You were always stealing pieces from me when you were younger…” He laughed a bit, the entered the next room and leaned back in a chair. He would leave Ravelyn and Maximus to their own business. “And you might want to find some new cloths, considering the back of your shirt is torn. There is a shop next to this building, perhaps you can get something there. Just tell the cashier that she’ll give you whatever you want. You may not realize it, but you can persuade very easily to the weak-minded.”
“Thank you, Allucard.” She said in return. She looked at Maximus. “It just seems all my memories are returning so fast, it’s hard to keep up with them all.” She grabbed Allucard’s jacked and put it on. It was a bit long, but was a reasonable length. She didn’t hesitate to grab his had as well. She tilted it off to one side. Could she ever pull that off.
She looked at Maximus. “Care to come clothes shopping with me? I need a guy’s opinion, and I don’t think Allucard is that awake enough to bother.”

Rave chuckled. “Hey you know me too well, don’t you?” The salesperson looked at her awkwardly, as if he had never seen a girl before in his entire life. She walked over to him, and placed her hand on the side of his face. “Sleep now.” He fell to the ground, unconscious. She looked back at Maximus. “Only having some fun…” Thanks for teaching me that Allucard…. She flipped the sign on the door to close and walked around, picking up random items. She laughed a bit. Was she having fun?
She went into the dressing room, and came out after a few minutes. If Allucard had ever seen her like this… She wore black arm bands that traveled up to just above her elbows. There were red cut-off gloves over them, and he could tell they closely resembled the one’s Qui used for fighting with metal studs on each. She wore a cut of white shirt, though it was not low-cut, it did show a bit of her midsection. She wore a black short skirt with a silver belt, with short boots, also the ones used for combat. Something about this store said that it was not just clothes, but had other items for sparing and fighting as well.
She jumped behind the counter. The man was still alive, and was just sleeping. She let out a light sigh, and looked at the items behind the counter, all of which were in cases. One thing that caught here eye was some small black, marble looking spheres, the same size as a king marble. She opened the case and took ten in total, placing them into a small pocked at the side of her hip on each side. “I do not remember these. Apparently they’ve come up with some new technology since I’ve been gone.”
She looked at the daggers within the case next to it, and fixated her eyes on them. There was something about them she could have sword she remembered. She removed them from the case, and walked back to Maximus, pretending to strike a combat pose. “How do I look?”

"Actually you should be worried about her son. He gets rather upset when you make threats." Allucard leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes, not paying mine as Takeda disappeared. It was one of Vaughn's tactics, had it not been? To disappear into the shadow realm? He was not suprised if Rave may have that deep within her.
He removed the bloodstone from his pocket again, and took more from it.

Sigrun looked at Ravelyn carefully with a playful grin upon his face. He beckoned,
"Turn, turn! I must make sure you fit properly in those clothes!"
Ravelyn raised an eyebrow and smiled. She did as he requested before returning back to her combat stance.
Sigrun chuckled once more, "You look like a natural bitch, if I must say!"
Sigrun had also noticed that the store was also had weaponry. He momentarily stepped to the side and retrieved an item that sat in a black sheath.
He handed it to Ravelyn,
"I found this. You might like to have it."
Ravelyn removed the sword from its sheath and admired the craftsmanship...

And out of the shadows a knife flew striking the sheath and sticking.
"What do you say to a little fun ... little girl." The shadowy figure stepped foward to show a tall man cloaked in white. "I would enjoy a fight, if you would be so kind as to provide me with an opponent." He looked at Sigrun then back to Ravelyn.
"Please don't tell me you have previous engagesments? If so I can wait." He then sat down and motioned her for a responce.

The nearly instantaneous reaction from Sigrun caught the man by surprise. A blast of white magical bindings struck him and suddenly pinned him to the wall. His arms were outstretched, as were his legs. Such was the effect of the binding spell that if the man attempted to escape through the shadow world, the bindings would refuse him to do so. Such was the power of the Valar.
Sigrun instantly had his sword, Lanta unsheathed and held at the ready. He glared at the man clothed in white.
"You will end your grudge against her, if you wish to live, stranger."
Sigrun's eyes were aglow with the surge of arcanic power that flowed within his blood. Indeed, ever since he had first learned the use of the arcane, he had become much stronger, more deadly in his attacks and nearly impossible to defeat. Combined with that, was his already impressive grasp of physical combat, thus making him a truly formidable opponent.
Sigrun commanded the figure to speak, "Your name, and your purpose, lest I wrench it from you by other means..."

Suddenly a burst of light came out of the man's eyes nullifying the binding spell. The man then sat down his eys an eerie glow, he raised his hand and eyebrow in exclaimation.
"Who are you, boy? I have no grudge with the lady, obviously she is powerful, so I wish to challange her, and if you think me a beast of shadow you are dumber then you look. As for my name, I will tell it to the lady, but not to you."
"Now, now, come now, we may not be freinds but we are not enemies either."

Ravelyn’s lip trembled, and her eyebrow twitched quite apparently so. She looked downward and clenched her fists. “Did I hear you correctly?!” her eyes shot up at the figure. She placed the sword down and unsheathed both of her daggers. “Little girl? Who the hell do you think your calling a ‘little girl’?!” her eyes narrowed. She stepped towards him, in front of Maximus. “I’ve got a lot of years on you.”
“So you’re of a light alignment? Well, well…the only way to defeat light is with dark. I was never a dark soul,”… Quissera…bind with me. A figure, transparent, though tangible, appeared behind her. Qui Shentavo with a wicked grin on his face. He shadowed her. “But you see…he is.” She smiled. Qui’s form vanished into a mist, penetrating though her heart to be sealed within. She dropped both her daggers to the floor. And placed one hand to her head. The pain was undeniable.
She fell to the ground, and it seemed for a moment that everything went blank. Views had been distorted from both Maximus and the challenger. She stood up. If there had ever been a female version of Qui, then this would be it in three fold. Her hair was shorter and completely white. Fangs graced her lips. Her left eye was red, and her right eye was blue, a half wing on her back. She grinned.
“Can’t you read? The sign says closed,” she drew the sword, the weapon besides his fists that Qui had always favored.

"You are a little girl, and as for you having a few years on me I doubt it, laughing, and you're not the only one who knows magic either little one."
As he laughed the room became darker and darker, and so did his eyes, they went from a blinding white to an empty void of black.
"You see I neither said I was of light or darkness, but now I'm telling you I am of death, and you little girl have never seen my kind before."
As the room became pitch black, suddenly a large flame leapt up from in-between the two revealing that they were no longer in the room. That they weren't even in the same realm, it was as if the realm was eating away at it's self, as if it wished for death. As she stood there the mans appearance began to decay until there was nothing but bone and rotten black clothe. He then moved forward extending is bony white hand at her, until all the flesh melted off, he then stood before her and asked.
"Are you afraid yet? Do you wish to know what I am? Do you want to know why you can't move?"
He then lightly touched her face with his skeletal hand, and laughed again, before disappearing and reappearing across from her in a stone room with a large fire in the middle.
"Ask what you will little vampire, all I have is time."

(this is a long post. But it is crucial to read everything to realize what happened to Rave)
"You're nothing more then a pawn," Ravelyn said with a sly smirk. "As for being death that is highly doubtful. I'm willing to bet my life on it. You see, if you were of my world, you would have known who I am. And you would have recognized Azrael as clear as day. You would know this seraph to be the angel of death. Now you know who I am. Now stop playing your mind tricks, and tell me who you really are. You waste my time with this nonsense."
“And I am not a little girl, nor a vampire, nor afraid of your cheap and pathetic game, my name is Ravelyn Shentavo, and I will seal your fate.” Rave approached him, beckoning for Maximus to come as well. She was clearly unpleased. But she did not have time to recover from before, could she do it now? But now it was different. Allucard was not there…and she wasn’t using her life source… she was using Qui’s energy. His had not depleted.
Visions flashed between Maximus and her as she took each step. It seemed a bond had been formed between them somehow.
They were all around him. The shadows. He could feel the pressure, he could hear her screaming. Then... nothing.
He opened the eyes. Everything went from black to a light grey. He looked at his hands as if he wanted to make sure this was real.
I see them in color, so I'm not in the Dark Path. What happened?
He looked around. Devastation. Dust. Hopelessness.
"This is definitly a bad day," he muttered to himself.
Vaughn heard a voice.
I'm not alone... now friend or enemy, time will tell.
He walked to the source, observing his surrounding as if an ambush could have occured anytime.
~
Rave shifted in her bed. Her black hair traced it's way along her spine, and fell in soft waves. Her crimson eyes slowely flicked open. She let out a soft sigh, and pushed the black satin sheets from her figure. She slowely rose, walking toward the dresser. She took out a black dress...it was a long time since she had worn it. She slipped it over her head. It tappered to the back where it just touched the floor. It fit her figure perfectly. Images flashed in her mind from the first year at the academy...and to him. She closed her eyes momentarily, with a soft smile, and proceeded down the stairs.
"Where..." Ravelyn said softly. "Where am I?" She headed down a long spiral staircase. She could hear voices. Her eyes flickered momentarily with distraught. "Hello?" She asked softly, chills running down her spine, part in trepidation, part in curiousity.
~
The darkness shrouded his face, and she could not make out his identity, but a hope still held within her heart. "Hello beautiful," he said to her. She was slightly taken back, by the likeness of his voice...it couldn't be...She couldn't speak, she stepped closer to him, looking for him...
What are you looking for?
A jewel.
Does he have a name?
Yes.
What is it?
Can't say...
"I'm not the one you think," said Smith with a smile, getting out of the darkness. "But I sure as hell can recognize a beauty when I see one!"
She was disappointed, but still smiled anyway. "I thank you for the compliment. No you are not the one I seek, but maybe I came across you for a reason." She smiled warmly. "Oh, sorry." she said offering her hand to him. "My name is Ravelyn."
"Charming first name," Smith said.
He bent and kissed her hand.
"And who is the lucky guy you're after?"
She paused for a moment. "His name is Vaughn," she replied. "Tell me, have you any knowledge that would help me?"
"Never heard this name before," Smith answered. "If you ask me, Vaughn sounds horribly wrong. Picture that: Ravelyn Vaughn, no really. Ravelyn Shentavo is so much better!"
He had a large smile.
"Sounds right to me," she replied, and then a sigh. "So, where am I? I don't recall this place..."
"Oh Oh!" Smith shouted with a slight laugh. "What do you think? Any idea?"
"Last thing I remember, I was falling. Falling through the earth. I thought I had won. I mean I had but...I was being pulled...there was a chain through my heart. I pulled it from myself, and faced...a rival, let's say. I chained him to the walls as I had banished him before but, I was hit from behind and I'm dead aren't I?" She asked with an amused smile. She suddenly thought of something. "Smith...tell me, do you meet everyone who passes through?"
"Everyone? Thank god I don't," the bald man answered.
Ravelyn looks at him. "Well, thank you for the information you have given me. It was nice to meet you. But if I'm dead, and the dead are here, that means that he may be as well...thank you for your time." She stepped past him, the black silk from her dress slipping past his side. She looked back to him, her crimson eyes meeting his. "What's your name, may I inquire?"
"Smith, Bobby Smith," he said proudly. "Didn't I tell you? How rude of me!"
He let her walk a little.
"I didn't say the deads were all here," he shouted in her direction before disappearing behind a corner.
She watched him leave. Vaughn... She called, trying to connect with him. She didn't like this place. On earth, she could bend things to her will, because she knew it's secrets. IN heaven, she never needed to. In hell, Vaughn had been the one to save her, but here..here she was...frightened.
"He doesn't answer, does he?"
The voice was coming from the left, very close. Smith was standing there. A few seconds before he was in the building, behind her.
"Does he?"
"No..." she said with a slight bit of fear in her eye, and turned from him. I'm frightened Vaughn...very frightened... This place she did not fancy...yet the angel never lost hope. She could never loose hope...she couldn't let herself.
Smith was observing.
Hmm... I'm afraid she'll take her time. Let us hope she won't fail.
He decided he should let her for the time being. There was plenty of work elsewhere anyway. This Vaughn for instance...
A smile crossed her face abruptly. "You know what I am apart from an angel, and you know what ancients have perfected over time. A beautiful mind is a terrible thing to waste Armma had said to me many years ago. You're withholding something from me, women's intuition, call it whatever you like. That's fine with me. I'm ready to accept that." She paced around to look at him. "I'm looking for a jewel..."
"Are you? Really?" said a voice coming from behind her. "Fas-ci-na-ting!"
She did not turn to see who it was, she had a good idea already. "You can't scare me," she said softly.
"Err... Why would I want to scare you?" Smith asked with an intrigued voice. "Tell me about this jewel... what is it?"
"Well you pop up out of no where...which is slightly creepy, yet unnecessary." She laughed slightly. "It's a jewel." she said in reply. "That's what it is."
"No. Maybe that's what you know of it. Maybe that's how you picture it. But..." he suddenly looked quite older. "... young girl, never even suppose you may actually know what something is because truth is no one knows. Oh... and don't mind my... err... disappearances, I don't even realize it can feel strange to others anymore."
"I know what it is," she replied, almost in a daze. "Where it is, I can't say." She brushed her hair from her face as he had done, her crimson lips parting as to say something, but no words were heard.
"I have the feeling that's your problem," Smith said his hand on his chin. "Over-confidence. Do you ever doubt?"
"The jewel? Not for a minute," she said unnervingly. "I must go...I must find it."
"Who told you this was a jewel you had to find? And for what reason? Really the more you talk about it, the less I understand it."
"You ask the wrong questions," she responded lightly. "I need to find this jewel, no one told me too. Surely you've put everything together, or may have if you ask the right questions."
"Oh... forgive me Mrs.Vampire-Archangel-Shentavo!" He bent so low his hands touched the floor. "Let me worship the being of ultimate knowledge that knows everything without being told."He stood up all in a sudden."You see, I don't have this skill. But I must also admit that I believe everything we know has been put where it is. There is a source."He smiled. "I'm happy: that makes at least one thing you admit you don't know."
"I know only what I'm needed to know," she said in reply. Her crimson eyes flickered. She tossed something two him, something crimson and small...as he looked up to her, she replied. " A jewel." She smiled. "And I never said I was an archangel, nor a vampire...but then again, we all have our secrets." She smiled, and turned to head down the stairs.
"Demon! Goddess! Whatever!" Smith shouted out loud, dancing around.
He stopped and stared at her going down the stairs.
"Truth is you don't know who you're working for or if what you're doing is the right thing. It's as if you were sometimes incarnated by another being in another world, comfortably sat, looking at you and putting words in your mouth." He waved his hand. "See you soon, character."
"I'm so confused now," she said. "I've never acted like that. What was I talking about...a jewel? Hm...maybe what's to come." She slowely made her way down the stairs. This place looked dreadfully familiar. She slowely paced around. Images flashed before her. "I wish I could find you." She simply said..."before this headache gets anyworse.."
~~~~
Vaughn was wandering around. The Dark Path didn't work. Telepathy didn't work. This was a nightmare.
What is this place? Where is she? Is she safe?
He had talked to several persons, but no one seemed helpful. Only one thing, all these people seemed to have... died before coming here.
What if I'm dead? For real.
~~~~
She touched the edge of the door, and recalled...I had this dress on, and we were getting ready for the end of the year ceremony. We eventually made it to the door, and then...the ceremony was delayed quite a bit...but I couldn't help it. I asked you if it looked alright, and you said, that dress is like begging for me to... her thoughts were interupted. She had taken to recollection here, for some reason it brought back so many memories. SHe turned from the door, and began to walk. It seemed that no one could help her. She held her hand out, a white light flickered then died.
"So my powers have no effect what so ever...bloody hell..."
~~~
"Hello there!
- Err... hello who are you?
- Smith and you?
- Vaughn, Michael Vaughn. You're dead too?
- Vaughn... funny, that's the name the lady talked about.
- Lady? What lady?
- Rave Ten Ciao or something.
- Rave?!? Where?... No... she's dead too?
- Of course.
- Wait... who are you really?
- She was right there, I'd say half a mile away."
Vaughn didn't want to ask more questions. He ran, following the direction the bald man had pointed at.
He stopped.
What if...
He turned back, but the man had disappeared.
Great!
As Rave walked away, she heard something...footsteps. I mustn’t look... She stopped. Bloody hell... She remarked to herself. It's probably smith...he scares me sometimes... but slowly, she turned around. Her lips parted to speak, but there were no words to be heard. She stood there, her backless black satin dress hugging the curves of her body. Her crimson eyes looked up to meet his...
O_O
That can't be... but... if I see her as... then I must be... but if she's dead... and if I'm dead... and... and...
He took her violently in his arms, kissing her with the passion of a man who hadn't seen his love for a thousand years.
My heart. My love.... She let him take her into his arms. A tear fell from her eye. "Vaughn...I..." She kissed him passionately wrapping her arms around his neck. She couldn't speak. She didn't want to. She felt like she hadn't seen him for so long...like they had met only once. She pressed herself to him as she used to.
I love you... I love you...
The words were turning inside Vaughn's head. He was one idea, he was one feeling, he was with Rave and they were one.
~~~~
What are you looking for?
nothing.
What happened to the jewel?
This one?
you have it?
yes.
She was with him... after everything. I love you... She looked at him, and wrapped her arms around his neck. "and you said, that dress is like begging for me to..." she smiled, as she saw it in his eyes he remembered. She was happy. He was with her; she was in heaven in hell. She caressed the back of his neck, her lips upon his.
She looked at him softly. "Before...when...when we were behind the barrier, I never got to say...before.." she searched for words. He knew she was rather eloquent, and this was slightly out of her character. She chuckled to herself slightly. "I saw you first at that cafe by an airport. Witz and Gene were having such a good time apparently. You watched me from the shadows, and I knew you were there. But I didn't know who you were...and finally you revealed yourself to me. And something clicked. The moment I saw you I smiled, and I didn't know why. Now I do. I love you, with all my heart. What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine."
He looked at her intensely.
"I tried to deny my feelings," he whispered. "You know why."
He stepped back. He was trembling. Tears appeared in his eyes.
"Now look where this folly has brought you!" he shouted with a movement of rage. "And this is all my fault! My enemies! My own problems."
He looked at her with a darker expression.
"My love is a poison that slowly drives the ones I touch into oblivion."
He looked up at the sky, arms opened.
"Whoever you are, I hate you! I hate you for what you've done to those I had the imprudence to love. Do you hear me? I HATE YOU!!!"
She looked at Vaughn, placing her hand upon his face. Her soft voice brought a sense of calmness. "Vaughn..." she said softly. "It's not your fault. It has never been your fault. "Without you, Michael, If you did not recall, I would have already been dead. You were my strength to live. You are everything I ever knew, and everything I ever want to know. Your love is not a poison, it is the cure.". Her soft raven hair fell in soft waves down her back, and her crimson eyes shimmered in what light was provided. She hugged him tightly, her cheek upon his chest. "I was dead before you loved me Michael. And in you I see my resurrection.”
Vaughn got back to his senses.
"What this place is?" he said with a cold voice. "I have strictly no idea. Are we trapped here? Seems so."
He walked to her.
"What I know is that I'll get you out of here. One way or another."
~~~
Vaughn," she said hesitating slightly. "Don't worry about me...we need to find a way for you...I'm not going back without you this time." She was hiding something clearly. As close as they were, he would be able to tell. She shifted slightly. "This place...is so familiar to me, like it's in the back of my mind, yet I can't recall anything about it. This man, Smith...have you met him?"
"Smith?"
Vaughn thought for a second.
"Oh... this bald clown, yes, why?"
"I think he knows more than he is letting on," she says softly. "He appears to work here, and pops out of no where, which was unnerving even to me. And I tried to call to you, but it seemed that telepathy does not work here...what is this place?"
Vaughn's expression darkened.
"Yes, no telepathy. And no dark path here. At least I guess we're no more on the other side of the Barrier... bah... that's stupid of me: we are dead. This is obvious. This is not the paradise. So it could only be two things: Hell or Purgatory, right?"
He put his arm around her.
She wrapped her closest arm around his back as he placed his arm around her shoulders. She tilted her head to rest on his shoulder for a few moments. "Well it's certainly not heaven," she suggests. "And I was pulled into hell alive, and this is certainly not what I experienced. Purgatory possible...very very possible. Though I'm not certain what this is. It's like an in between."
"Hmmm... and few people around here," he said before kissing her. "I guess that makes us special."
His smile froze.
"Or maybe, everyone around here is eliminated. One by one."
She welcomed the kiss, blushing slightly. He was the only one who could make her do that. She chuckled slightly, knowing that. "Eliminated? It sounds bad." she asked. In a mocking voice, she continued with a smile. "You are the weakest link, goodbye." She looked at him with a light laugh, and nestled her head on his shoulder again. His presence brought comfort to her.
"We'll find a way. There is a way out of everything. And if not, duct tape should fix any problem."
I'd like to be sure of that," Vaughn replied in a breath. "So, what to do? Find this bald man?"
"I'm not quite sure," she said softly. "What else is there to do...we can't just wait her doing nothing..." She smiled slightly. She looked around, her crimson eyes falling upon the scene. There was nothing about this place she could stabilize in her mind as being remotely familiar. There was nothing. Her power drawn away, as well as her telepathy, which she found more of a nuisance in someone overhearing some of the things that may be said. Smith. There was nothing known about him but his name, and he seemed to be able to teleport to where ever he wanted. Maybe she could get some answers out of him. So yes, the best idea would be to find him. "Je vous ai manqué, mon amour," she whispered to herself almost inaudibly., as it was not meant to be heard, while looking at Vaughn. They would find a way out...wouldn't they? This couldn't be the end...it just couldn't be. "Let's go find him...he may possess the answers we need, or know someone who does."
As soon as she had finished her sentence, Smith appeared at a corner, huming Love Story's main theme.
~~~
Rave's eyes dart toward Smith. She chuckles slightly, noticing his song. "Very funny," she laughed
"Aha! Nice to see you in a better mood!" Smith shouted out loud with a smile. "And I guess this man is the one you were looking for, right?"
He stared at Vaughn.
"Michael Tough, isn't it?"
Vaughn sighted.
"Vaughn," he said slowly. "Michael Vaughn."
"He is," she said in return with a smile. Temporarily distracted by emotion. She quickly got back to reality...or where ever this place was. "Smith, can I ask you a question in which you will give me a straight answer apart from this one?" Her crimson eyes flickered at him.
Maybe we'll get some answers...
"Problem is answering questions is not my role," Smith said.
He gave a quick glance at Vaughn who gave a dark look back. Smith laughed slightly, acting uncomfortable.
"Oh, but you can play many different roles hm?" she said upbeatly, however there was something serious in her voice, that lay latent in her questions. "Do you know why we are here?" She looked to Vaughn slightly, then to Smith, noticing the silent interaction, though she said nothing.
"No, I don't but I could if I wanted to though."
He looked again at Vaughn.
"You're wearing a kind of mask, aren't you?" he asked Michael. "That's not your true appearance, is it?
- No. This is like a separate part of myself, why?
- Oh, nothing. I just find that quite impressive. I mean, this is like a power isn't it?
- Not really.
- Hmmm."
Smith seemed to be puzzled by Vaughn's attitude. Rave could confusedly feel the bald man was searching his memory, as if he already knew Vaughn somehow.
For once Smith was as confused as she had been, and she smiled at this silently. She noted the look in both their eyes. Something was recalled to her, though she did not realize what it was. "Are you familiar with each other?" she asked melodically.
"No," Vaughn replied simply. "I just don't like how he's looking at me."
Smith smiled at Rave.
"Oh... it's nothing, you know. Just have the impression I saw someone like your friends before. Someone with purely black eyes. Nothing important."
Vaughn's eyes widened.
"I... I beg your pardon?"
I quite like his eyes, she thought to herself with a slight smile. She didn't like the response Smith gave. There was something about him, almost a quality, like found in synthetic diamonds. "Purely black eyes?" she asked, inquiring Smith to explain.
"Anyway," Smith continued, dodging the question. "What's your take on this place? Any idea of what it could be?"
Vaughn's face deformed by crispation. His fist were firmly closed. But somehow, he knew force wouldn't be the proper attitude.
“It's slightly creepy...reminds me of the dark ages," she said with a half smile. Her soft hand touched Vaughn's fist, caressing the skin lightly to ease him. "What's your take on this place Smith?" she returned, but remembered the question dodged...she would get her answer...but later.
"Oh well, I'd like it to be a little less devastated. But I guess it's part of the scenery. We wouldn't like people to feel comfortable, would we?" Smith said.
Vaughn opened his fist to take Rave's hand inside of his.
"We." she said. "You said we, now who are you? And I mean that in a plural sense." her mind was beginning to pick up on things. "Now why would "you" want us to be comfortable? Tell me what is going on here," her voice softly mimicked Vaughn's cynical tone that was custom for him to possess. She felt his fist loosen, and take her hand into his.
"Oh, I'm quite sure you already know who my boss is, don't you Miss Shentavo?" Smith asked back with the same cynical tone.
It was as if the man was acting like a kind of mirror. His attitude always seemed to reflect others'.
Her eyes flickered softly. "Hmm..." she murmured. She observed him with a slight hint of mysteriousness. "right then..." her voice regained it's melodic tone. She nodded slightly. "right..."she repeated. "Then what is it that we're needed for...here I mean..."
Smith's smile reappeared. "Does this look like a place where anything is needed? Hmmm? Apart for a good cleansing that is."
Vaughn let Rave's hand go and stepped forward.
"Will you answer? Yes or no." he said with a cold and angry voice.
Smith stepped backward.
"Good god! You sound so much like your father."
Vaughn's body contracted all in a sudden. His face was nothing more than an expression of pure stupefaction.
Rave was startled, and looked at Smith. She slowly stepped forward, her hand traveling from Michael's spine up to his right shoulder as she stood to his left. She noticed the change in him, and looked at Smith. She was beginning to figure it out. "His father, black eyes, please explain...I didn't forget about the question, you weren't so subtle in dodging it." she replied with a wry smile.
The bald man laughed slightly.
"Maybe I wasn't subtle on purpose. I'm not here to make things worse. You could rather picture me as a guide."
He waved his hands around.
"I don't really like the idea of people spending their eternity here."
He plunged his eyes in Rave's.
"And I never say anything by accident."
Ravelyn was slightly confused, and her mind began to pain her, but she waved the pain away. She met her eyes, exhaling in a short breath, and Vaughn could sense the change of pace within her. "So then there is a way to get out of here?" she asked in a softer tone.
"When did my father pass by? Or have you met him elsewhere?" Vaughn asked suddenly.
"Wow, wow, wow! One question at a time please," Smith said with a warm smile, like a politician facing a thousand journalists. "Of course, there is a way out. Damn, you managed to get in here, didn't you?"
He turned at Vaughn.
"He came here... after he... you know. Well, not exactly... he passed through the Barrier and, then, he got here. Then he decided where he wanted to go. Just as you have to."
"To go..." Rave asked. "back? Possibly?" She asked. She looked at Vaughn, and smirked slightly. "I've always wanted to meet your parents, but your father seems to be the elusive one if I am hearing this correctly." A warm smile crossed her face toward him. There is a way...out of everything Vaughn..
"Where did he go?" Vaughn asked.
Smith sighted.
"I guess I could tell you one question at a time all day long that you would never comply, would you? Anyway... there are dozens of way out. It all depends on you actually. Your father chose the most difficult road. Seemed like he felt like paying for his sins or something like that. Had lots to do with you actually."
Vaughn seemed to collapse for half a second but managed to stand still.
She paused for a moment...feeling the emotion within Vaughn, she decided it best to get answers later, and worry about him now. She seemed to steady him, if but for a moment. "Are you alright?" she whispered softly to him.
"Yes... yes... I'll be all right," he whispered.
He took a firm expression and faced Smith.
"What is this road you're talking about?"
Smith looked at him then at Rave.
"You love this man?" he asked.
Rave did not need to think about the answer. "With all my heart," she replied. She looked at Smith, and in her eyes was the reaffirmation of her words.
Then convince him not to follow that path," Smith told her with a pleading look.
Vaughn sighted.
"I have enough of your riddles. Now tell me where he's gone. TELL ME NOW."
"Vaughn," she looked toward him, her eyes softening for the man that stood before her. "I don't wish you to take that path, but if that is what your heart is set to do...then that is my path as well." She looked toward Smith, knowing that Vaughn would not heed his words, she repeated. "Which one did he take?"
Smith trembled slightly.
"He went to meet the boss," he said with a clear emotion. "I have no idea what happened to him after that."
"He's alive," she replied, clarity returning to her mind. "I saw him... he came to me when I was kidnapped and put on trial..." she paused, realizing she hadn't told him of that. "..long story" she saved herself the explanation. "He was looking for you...."
She looked at Smith desperately. "Show me the way."
"No," Smith said firmly. "You have to find the way by yourself."
Vaughn stared at him and got back at Rave. He was so confused his face was barely recognizable. His eyes were blinking and Rave could feel Zacharian wanted to get out. Now.
"Alive... you... saw him? When? Why? I..."
A convulsion and his body bent like a torn piece of paper.
"You had died...I couldn't tell you...I tried to. Beleive me I did. Every day I tried to reach you...but I couldn't... He tried to help me break free...but in the end it lead me going through a confession...basically all your sins set on killing you. No one survived it but inquizitors...and myself. It's a long story. He's alright...and very much alive, but I only saw him briefly..." her thoughts were jumbled.
"Vaughn..."She watched him convulse, and quickly steadied him with what strength she possessed, knowing full well that in this world, Zacharian would be stronger than her. She still had to try, and she did not forget the last time she tried to stop him. She looked at her arm momentarily. Worth any risk. she thought to herself.
His movements were erratic. His neck seemed to crack. And it suddenly stopped. He stood back up. His eyes were full black and his expression was cold and frightening.
"All right, little man," he said to Smith with a neutral tone. "You wouldn't like me to make you speak, so you'd better volunteer."
He turned at Rave.
"Hello, honey. Gorgeous... If only I had time, I could take these clothes of yours off."
He smiled while turning back at Smith. The bald man had disappear.
"Great," Zacharian muttered to himself.
"You have time now," she replied softly, then quickly got back to her senses. Smith, she thought to herself. If he could read his mind, he could read hers. Please...come back... She looked at Zacharian, her eyes softening for Vaughn. She sighed almost inaudibly.
"God damnit!" Zacharian said along with other curse words. "No Dark Path, no telepathy, no elemental energy. I hate this place."
He turned around himself and his look finally fell onto Rave. He passed his hand onto her face into an unexpectedly tender gesture.
"You know who the boss is, don't you?"
She was surprised at his gesture, as Vaughn's other side had usually been more violent. She bit her lip slightly, and looked to him. "I....I have a good idea...though as eloquent as I am, words are not enough to explain it."
Zacharian kissed her gently and passed his hand through her hair.
"You're definitely the closest thing from perfection," he whispered to himself. "Don't worry, just try and explain me."
Ravelyn closed her eyes as he kissed her. She looked up to him, and took a breath. How to explain this... "The boss, as Smith put it, maintains the order here...or created the order here. I'm here for a reason as are you...we're all pawns in this twisted world."
"We're all pawns on Earth too," he replied with a slight laugh. "But what is He? Bright side? Dark side? Grey like dirty snow? But, look at you, you seem so anxious. Am I scaring you or what?"
"No," she said softly, but that was clearly a lie. He knew the infliction of her voice too well.
"He could be good, bad, or both..." she replied. "It really depends on you."
Zacharian looked vexed.
"So I'm scaring you," he said as if this was far more important than her last sentence. "You realize Vaughn and I are the same person? Damn, I never thought this ersatz would be preferred. Wasn't part of the plan. At all."
He looked at the sky.
"Depends on me, you say. Well, Given my luck these past centuries, I'd say He'll turn evil on me, most likely."
She looked at him, placing her hand upon his face. "You're not that scary..." she replied with a wry smile. "Startling at first I admit. I do realize your the same person, if I didn't, then chances are I wouldn't be as calm as I am right now." she smiled softly.
"So is that the path we walk on?" she looked at him reassuringly. "I always liked challenges." she teased him slightly with her tone of voice.
He smiled at her.
"Well, I'd very much like to walk a path... if only I had any idea how to get on it."
His expression darkened.
"I really wonder what my father has got himself into."
"Let's worry about him when and if we get out of this mess...and wonder what we've gotten ourselves into...this place may hold more than it is first thought, laying latent in the depths, and most likely on the path." she spoke softly, naturally trying to lighten the mood.
Zacharian's eyes grew thiner.
"I wonder if my mother was with him. I wonder what happened to her. Smith didn't talk about her, at all."
"I know nothing of her," she replied. "Other than what you had told me before." she looked at the wasteland before her. Even the sky was grey. She looked around unnervingly. "Come on," she said softly. "Let's go...if I'm right, I have a feeling that the path will find us."
He followed her, laughing out loud.
"Yeah, it's probably with reasoning like this that we ended up here anyway!"
"I don't have an excuse for dying other than that if I hadn't have gone into hell to bind Mephisto, he would have been set free and kill everyone." She continued casually..."And did you know we have a daughter?" she asked shooting him a smile.
"WE WHAT?!?" O_o
Ravelyn laughed, and nodded her head to herself, then looked to him. "We have a daughter." she repeated. "When you died, my tear...and then there was this light...and the shadows were gone. Then Azerdat turned prophetic, and she is the result of our love. You always liked the name Sarah..." she smiled slightly. "Though I wish we had a chance to make her..." she laughed to herself.
Zacharian didn't talk at first. He walked, silent, for some seconds.
"That can't be," he muttered finally. "Sarah... It's unexpected."
Contradictory feelings were fighting onto his face. In the end, a calm and neutral expression took the advantage.
"Well. Looks a lot like how my sister came to life actually. Never told you about that have I?"
"No," she said lightly. "No, you haven't....tell me." she said, persisting. Her crimson eyes flicked up to him. "Because I would love to know how a child was created between us without the making of one..."
"Well, the situation is different, of course. But there are similarities. You see, my parents, they wanted a child. One day, a powerful warrior, from a now extinct group of vampire hunters, the lizard order or something. Anyway, this warrior found my father and was defeated. My father convinced my mother the man's soul could be used as a host for a child. So they began to dig into very ancient elvish books and found a way to mix their essences. During all the process, they were both picturing, even dreaming at night, of the child they wanted. Surprisingly, they dreamt of nearly the exact same being: an elvish girl looking much alike my mother. Anyway, they finally managed to so what they wanted to. They let the process go and went to sleep as they were awfully exhausted. When they woke up, I was there... but not alone. My sister was by my side. My mother was convinced it was because of their dreams."
Dreams? I admit I dreamed of the process...but that is hardly the same thing... She laughed to herself, her words unheard. "Well, that's one way to solve it..." she looked around, a path to the right, and one to the left... "Erm....which one?"
"Oh Well, let's go left. Anyway, that doesn't solve anything. I admit, sometimes, I feel like Elaïne is not real... if you see what I mean. After having seen what she's capable of. I mean... oh well... what does our daughter look like?"
She's beautiful," Ravelyn replied softly. "She has my charisma and my stubbornness, and your cynical tone sometimes...and your eyes.." she looked up to him, with a smile upon her face. "My lips..."
Zacharian was preparing to answer when he spotted someone on their way. A woman. Blond hair going down to her feet it seemed. Blue eyes. She was sat on a broken bench. Something ethereal was emanating from her.
"What the..."
Ravelyn looked to him, but then was startled by someone. There was a woman, sitting on a broken bench. Reminds me of Genesis.... she thought to herself, and stepped toward her. "Hello," she said to her, her crimson eyes looking over the woman as if she had known her all her life.
The woman looked up at them, smiled warmly then looked back down. She seemed to be reading something, though the book were not to be seen.
Ravelyn's observant eyes picked up her expression. "What are you reading," she asked, stepping closer, glancing out of the corner of her eye at Zacharian.
"The story of your life, Ravelyn Shentavo," the woman replied in a soft murmur without having looked at Rave.
"Is it a good read?" she asked, with a smile, intrigued by the woman.
"Not really," the woman replied with the same ethereal voice. "Not really."
Rave looked by her side. Zacharian had disappeared.
"Hmm...that's what I was expecting..." she said, not suppressed at all at the answer. She looked to her side, and Zacharian had vanished. She looked to the woman, a quickening in her eyes. "Where did he go?" she asked, afraid of the answer.
"His path separated from yours. You should be glad you even had a chance to see him again."
She closed the book in a slow gesture and looked intensely at Rave.
"Now, what will I do with you?"
“What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine. She thought to herself. "Damn it..." she said softly. She wanted to break away from this...to be with him...even if it cost her everything. "I'm not sure. I think it would be up to you. May I inquire is his path the same as his fathers?"
"It should be easier for him. He was far more dedicated than his father at the same age. I think he'll manage to find me eventually. You, on the other hand... I really don't know. But I never turn my back at those who have served me."
Rave's eyes went wide, surprised. She was beginning to fit together the puzzle. "You knew me as Azrael, didn't you? You knew me as a seraph..." she could hardly speak for a few moments. "What are the options that are laid before you?" she asked softly.
"Well, the options are before you. On one hand you're an expression of pure darkness; on another you're as bright as the purest. You are the paradox. I just sent someone to save you when necessary and then I watched you. I wanted to see if you would fight evil for the good reasons."
She paused.
"Honestly, I don't know what to think."
"Well," she replied. "I can't tell you what to think. Generally I tend to be of a lighter alignment...I was able to control the mixed bloodlines you see...keep the balance within me for a long while. But there still remained something dark in me...that I couldn't get rid of. I tried, but it was part of me. Pure darkness, I can not be sure of. Yes, I am half vampire, though I do not have to tell you that...but pure darkness is not capable of love. For love is the greatest light there can be." she said. "I'm done with my miniature rant... so I'm a paradox?" she said. "That's a new title." she replied to herself with a laugh. "What can I do?"
"Love..." the woman muttered. "Love is a two sided blade. So many beings mix love with passion or desire. You want, you breed and then... Sometimes love can bring far worse endings than hatred. I don't think you realize what you left to human beings when you died. Descendants. I can't say I look at them with the same forgiving attitude as I look at you."
She grinned slightly.
"What can you do? You ask. What are you ready to do? And more importantly, why?"
"I know..two of them..." she replied lightly. "One possessing more control than the other. And the first was not my choice." she looked at the woman, a slight tinge of a hurt expression in her eye. "I am ready for whatever is placed before me....do you like the name Zakuto? Ravelyn Zakuto?" she said out of the blue.
"In need for some wisdom?" the woman replied with a smile. "I'm not sure you're ready for what you will face. I do hope I won't have to test you after that. Only time will tell."
The scene seemed to fade away. Then came... the dark.
"I am ready for all you put before me..." she replied again as the scene faded into darkness. "Great. Darkness. Scary for a vampire." she replied sarcastically. "Bloody hell..." she looked around, her crimson eyes reflecting an unseen light so that she had the possibility of seeing. "it's ironic, I was afraid of the dark as a child...."
She opened her eyes and she was running. Running down an alleyway…
Rave looked at Maximus, not sure if he had seen it. It took one second for all of the vision to flash before their eyes. She turned back to the figure before her.
“Now show me who you really are and what you can do with a blade you uncivilized fuck.”

As Ravelyn spoke the figure did not change but instead his empty eye sockets looked at her with an unsteady gaze.
"I have, I am what happens when a vampire abandons his ghoul, I am a Lich, a Lich of the void. You ask me what my name is, but there is no answer to that question. Perhaps at one question there was once an answer, but no more, I have become more and less of what I once was. I am a being of hatred and vengence, a being not much unlike yourself. But you will learn that like in that place your power is nonexistent here, while mine is infinite!"
As he spoke soft groaning filled the halls as an unseen force marched through this unknown realm. As Ravelyn waited for an answer, the armies of the void moved to their masters call. In a world without light or darkness, this creature was the master, a being utter "neutrality".
"Shall I answer your questions or leave you without understanding, I will tell you what you need to know, not what you want to know. I am death, the un-death of all worlds, your time is at an end our time has come, no longer shall the undead serve vampire masters. No longer shall we be servants, we shall free our selves and seek peace in undeath."
Then at that moment hundred of ghouls spilled in through all the corridors in the room, to swallow them up in the mass. As the ghouls approached the stench of their rotting flesh drifted through the room and into Ravelyns nose, causing her to cough. And across the room the Lich was gone, leaving behind this horde of undead minions, and the failing words of a last whispered sentence.
"Try ... to ... run ... you'll ... find ... no ... escape."

-_-;
“You know nothing,” she watched as the ghouls entered the room. She closed her hand, and reopened it. What remained was a small emerald jewel. She threw it up into the air, and a light shown from it. As she caught it in her hand, the scene returned to the store. She looked at Maximus, to make sure that he was all right. She peered at the figure before her. “I am done with your allusions. I am done with your games. Reveal who you really are. I will not say it again.”
She pointed her sword towards him. “As for being neutral, so am I. Difference is, I am a paradox…and you are a sham, a replica of what some mortals perceive. I have no intentions to fight you, but just say the word and you will be punished.”

"Huh, what I showed you was a half-truth, not a lie. I am a Lich, but this is just an illusion you see before you." as he said this, his form changed, from a skelital form to a young man cloaked in white.
"As you see me now is my truest form, as for you calling me a sham, I speak only the truth, you may be a paradox, but I am a soldier sent here with a message, and the message still stands."
"Your time has ended, our time has begun, and there is nothing in heaven, hell, or earth that can stop the flow of time." "And I said before, I am the result of the neglect of an ancient master, a vampire, it was my luck that he died while I did live, and now I serve those who freed me, from my slavery."
"And as the peot once said, parting is such sweet sorrow." as he said so the man vanished leaving but his knife as a calling card, and on the silver knife was a crest with two swords crossed behind a kite sheild.

Her eyes widened as she watched him vanish. “Bastard!” she slammed her right fist into her left palm, causing her to return to her original form. She turned around to face Maximus. “I feel rather feint…” she paused for a moment. “I felt…so…different. It was as if I wasn’t myself. A part of me wasn’t. I felt…so weak, and so strong at the same time.”
Are you all right? a voice inside of her head asked.
Yes
You’re lying. I can see inside your mind. You’re not even going to make it back to the apartment... You can’t protect everyone Ravelyn. You can’t challenge every threat that is in front of you. You may be able to use my energy, but you loose some of yours as well.

As the major and her gaurd approached the edge of the city in civillian drab, they made their way to the hotel that Daniael and his crew were supposed to stay.
"Hey Sergeant, I know you don't know Daniael and his crew but what are the chances that they are informed of our arrival?"
"Not good ma'am, head quarters is bad about that, but they probly have a feeling someone has been sent to back them up."
"Realy? You think that they will be supprised?"
"Uh, yes, ma'am, unless HQ came thruogh and informed them, but it's doubtful."
Jannja and the sergeant reached the hotel and entered epecting to see all the crew. But instead no one was optomistiv about their arrival, and when qeustioned they became agressive.
"Uh, Josh what happened here?"
"Nothing above the ordinary, until we got to the hotel that is. You see on our way back the boss caught sent of a vamp back at the hotel we got there in time to meet that vampire, after he left, Lauria had an emotional break down, and even now refuses to speak. As for the boss and Takeda they both took off, to where is anyones guesse."
"So you don't know anything?"
"No, we were ordered by the boss to stay back, and the things that we saw, man there's no explaining them."
"What, what did you see?"
"Like I said it was beyound words."
"Hh, I see, well I think I'll wait here for Dany to return, huh, I realy felt like supprising him when I got here, but it seems that I'll have to wait."
"Ok, major, get some rest."
"I will, thanks for telling me what happened."
Josh left the room and went down the hall way into one of the other rooms. Jannja then laid down on the bed and got ready for a long wait.

OOC: I don't mind the long posts...in fact, I enjoy reading posts with effort obviously put in them! :)
IC:
Sigrun suddenly felt like he had lived a millenia more than he really had. Ravelyn had shown so much to him,
So much... he thought to himself, bringing his hand up to his forehead. I never realized, nor fully understood what Rave went up against all these years...but now it is clear. How the memories will remain with me always. The only curse of my kind...
He looked up to Ravelyn, who had finally morphed back into her original form. "I'm fine, though a bit taken back by what you have shown me."
He lingered his thoughts on the lich who only moments before had been standing opposite them. A lich...I have fought many creatures, even demon lords. A lich is a pain to kill. Yet I have done so.
Sigrun shook his head slightly, as if to clear a fog that surrounded his vision. If he had only known that the intruder was a lich, he'd have used the proper defenses and attacks. He glanced down at Lanta, his sword specially augmented to be the bane of demons. He turned it over, studying the intricate designs of the Valar that condemned many a demon to their fate, should they cross his path. The lich wasn't a demon in the true sense of the word, but Lanta wouldn't be completely useless either. It would still have a painful effect on the Lich.
He locked his eyes with Ravelyn. She saw in that brief moment the struggles he had endured in his existence as well. Although they probably weren't as earth-shattering as hers, they were worthy enough to be noted. Demon lords, including Nez'Gah and Arithon had battled him, and he had survived. Lichs had challenged him and failed. Entire armies of vampires had gone up against him alone...and one by one had fallen. Kazar-Tiyon, once a sworn enemy finally conceeded that Maximus; as he had been known then; was his true equal in every form of combat. And so the two had formed a truce. The brief struggles with Daja, Ravelyn's hated sire. Alexander Kelsing, of the Hyraphore coven, another one who had troubled Maximus's life later on in his vampiric life. The journeys with Kain Shentavo, including some in which Kain had fought him. The Assingtonian Wars of the darkness. The Tarlachian Coup de'tat. The battle with Damien Black, also the one who had ended his life previously, before his resurrection.
Ravelyn also saw the more recent memories that lay in Sigrun's mind. The third Assingtonian war against the Hyraphore and their allies, the lycans. Skadi had nearly died there, and Sigrun had nearly given his life to save hers. She saw that Sigrun had learned of his destiny at long last. Upon the revelation of this, her eyes widened slightly.
Sigrun was of royal elven blood, and was destined to lead not only the elves of Tarlachia, but also of the entire nation itself, consisting of over two billion souls. The moment of his coronation had yet to come, but it was near, she could tell... It was that point that she chuckled silently to herself. Who would have thought that this once hard-balling rogue vampire turned elf would one day be destined to rule a great nation, to settle down and shoulder the burdens of a leader? Yet she also could tell that he would never stop fighting, he would never settle down peacefully, not completely.
He would always be at war.
So was his fate.
Ravelyn also now understood his comment earlier, about her past being a bit of a wallop to Sigrun. He was elf, and he would never forget what had transpired.
Yet, there was one thing that she also noticed in Sigrun's eyes:
He had achieved wisdom. No longer did folly command his actions. Now, he moved with deliberate consideration, always with care. He understood now that even a pebble displaced could create a tsunami unto the shores of each person's soul.
There was one other thing she finally saw last. It concerned her specifically. She could see his memory of the church, but his memory focused on the rafters. At first she saw nothing, but then a slight movement caught her attention. She watched as the memory looked down at a distant set of figures in the church. One she recognized instantly as Allucard. The other was herself. The memory returned to the rafters.
And she knew now something she hadn't known before. She was being tailed by different characters...
Sigrun released another sigh, "Let's go, Rave. Fate holds many things in store for us. It's best if we prepare for the worst..."

On the edge of Town, in a large broken down mansion, in the shadow of a large moutain. A small flicker of light appeared in a seemlessly empty room, followed by a large orb of light and then a even larger flash, and from that flash there appeared a man cloaked in white.
He moved sighlently through the near pitch black darkness. Upon reaching a door and openeing it, he walked down a dimly light spiral stairway into a lower crypt. Inside was an underground graveyard well lit unlike the rest of the manor, and in here there was a hororfying sight to behold. In this tome there were hundred of ghouls, dressed in body armor, and carrying submachine guns.
As they waited for their masters command they feed on the unrisen corpses to appease their ghastly appetite.
When he walked in the ghouls continued their feast and moved about with no purpose but when he began to speak, all the ghouls simentaniously stoped and listened to what their master had to say.
"Listen to me you undead bastards, I freed you from you masters control so you could fight back against those who used you. I now ask you to fight those monsters who stole your livs away, now march, march and regain your humanity."
When his speach ended the ghouls let out a sickening scream, a scream so horriable that it could bring fear to an entire legion of vampires. They then began to march with purpose, and as they did so the lich cloaked in white brought forth a train of prisoners, to be turned into ghoul slaves. When the ghouls caugt wind of the humans they began to shamble their way toward these already frightend prisoners. The prisoners tried to run but were held down by their chians, and were consumed by the wave of undead that gathered around them. And then the most sickening of sounds could be heard, the sound of flesh beging ripped of bone, and as the last of the prisoners died the ghouls returned to their previous feast and waited for the new dead to rise as ghouls.

Ravelyn placed her hand on Sigrun’s shoulder. “I’m not trying to send you these images. I have flashbacks…and memories…all coming back to me so quickly. I do not know how much you have seen, but that I have no control over. It seems that some bond has formed between us. Of its nature…I cannot be sure.”
She picked up her daggers, and strapped them to either side of her hip. She headed towards the door with Maximus, and closed it behind them. The back of her shirt was torn a bit, but she didn’t seem to care this time. She put on Allucard’s hat and grabbed his jacket. She began walking back to the apartment, only a block away.
“Everything happened so quickly…everything passed us by,” she said softly. “Vaughn…and I were together for just two years…but we felt like we had known each other all of our lives. When I was in that world…that in between…hundreds of years passed on earth, and I’m now realizing that. Maximus, if you find someone you love, don’t let them go. Don’t hesitate at all to say how you feel, because if you don’t…you may never get the chance again.”
She stopped outside the apartment building and grabbed a cigarette out of Allucard’s pocket, lighting it quickly. She inhaled for no apparent reason. It wasn’t as if she were going to get lung cancer or any high off of it either. She half blamed Qui for this. He had been a heavy smoker, and it never affected him either. Having merged with his soul earlier, she knew it to be a side affect. “Never deny your feelings…because they give you strength.”
Allucard opened the door and stepped outside, removing his coat from Rave’s arms so she would not have to carry it. “Can I have a word with you for a moment? Alone…”

As Daniael walked through the nearly abandoned ghost of a town, he happened on an old rustic bar on the edge of town. As he entered the smell of beer, ale, and whiskey filled his nostrals and caused him to rememeber the life before this one.
Life was difficult back then but not like they are now days. He'd have to do odd ball jobs for ends meat, but winded spending much of it on his previous life addiction, the bottle. He had been a drunk as long as he could remember, infact he couldn't remember a time he was sober in all his life.
But now he was a Lycan and no linger desired the "drink", but somthing abot the familiarity of the bar, all bars realy always drove him back to one of many stores for liqiur. He sat down before the bar and before he knew it had ordered he house beer and was consuming it's contents.
"Man I realy need to quit, but between work and life this little bottle of sanity or insanity some would say, is all I got."
"Realy, you sound the type who's seen things no man should see?"
"Yes, that and more, but I'll not darken your mood with my past, instead I'll order a round for the house."
"Realy? Hmm, either you have few freinds or many, but soon that won't be the case, you'll have more then you need, laughing." "Well guys did you here the new guy a round on him."
Various cheers
"You want to know something?"
"Sure", the barkeep said.
"I can't remember a bad thing ever happening to me in a bar, hmm, kinda think that I have a way with bars, I always got freinds there, whether I know it or not."
"Laughing, yep sounds like me in my young days, chuckling, I still remember the time I ..." as the barkeep continued his story Daniael listened to it intentively until ...
"Hey you mind donin me a favor stranger? You see, I got problems with these boys who trying to shut me down. You mind stayin after closin time and scarin off?"
"Hmm, I don't know, I don't even know your name, how bout this I'll stay if you give me a cold one on the house, and your name, I figure I have to know the name of the man who'll be serving me quality beer for my stay in this fair town."
"Realy, you'll do it? Thank you, and here's your payment, a nice frosty one, and my names Eril, nice to meet you stranger."
"Don't call me stranger call be Daniael, or better yet, Dan.
Sure thing ... Dan, well I got to bring up a barrel from the basement can you see to it that no one steals nothin, if you do there's another beer in it for ya?"
"Sure why not, but after I finish this one, alright?"
"Fine by me see you in a minute." As the kind old barkeep made his way into the back room and into the basement, something caught Daniael's attention, something strangly familiar ...

Sigrun nodded slightly, moving away as Ravelyn and Allucard stepped into the next room and closed the door.
He sat down on the nearest couch and leaned back as he thought deeply to himself of what had transpired in the last twenty four hours...

It was an odor he had smelled a hundred times before, it was the smell of his kind. A Lycan, and not an ordinary Lycan, a female ... in heat, nonetheless. Daniael had only smelled one other female Lycan in all his life, and she was now human thanks to him. But the faint scent began to lure him, until he regained his senses, and his sense of duty.
"Hey Barkeep, I'll be back in a minute, I got to go check something."
As the barkeep walked up the stairs with a case in hand he looked over his shoulder and dismissed Daniael from guard duty. Daniael then rushed out side and began to hunt down that scent. He knew what Lycan females were like in heat, after all he had been turned by one. He quietly and quickly stalked through the night in pursuit of the scent, and happened to have no luck, until he came to a bridge where the scent was strongest, and as he peered down. What did he see, but a group of high school students messing around, as he watched them closely he eyed one reserved and quiet young girl, no older then seventeen, but he knew too well what might happen. If the moon were to show up. She would kill or turn her friends, then his work would be all the harder. But what to do he couldn't just kill her, she had barely even begun to live her life, and from the look of it she had yet to taste human flesh. But he couldn't leave her to her urges either, so as he stood there debating what he should do, he watched her sitting on the edge of the bank skipping stones across the water.

Allucard led Ravelyn away from the door to the side of the building. She looked at him, and knew what he was about to say, she put her hand up in protest, but he began to speak anyway. “I know that your memories are returning…I have seen many of them.” He seemed to shift uneasily, something he rarely did. “I know you loved Vaughn in a different way that most people do. Perhaps it was because you two were ‘immortal’, and could find a deeper sense of the word through time. Whatever it was, the love you had for each other was incomparable to any I have heard of.”
He paused for a moment, to collect certain words. “I was somehow hoping that your memories would not return of him, and you would ..love me instead.”
“Allucard,” she said softly. “ I..do love you---“
“Not how you loved him,” he cut her off rather sharply, and then his voice calmed down a bit. “And I don’t expect you to---” Allucard was caught by surprise as she leaned up, a bit of jump in her step, to hug him. He hesitantly put his arms around her, and let them settled. [i]Make no mistake…I do love you Rave. I will do all that I can to protect you. I am willing to accept you can’t give me the same in return.”
They stayed like that for a while, Allucard running his hand over her soft hair, listening to her steady and even heartbeat as a warm breeze swept through the city streets. The majority of the large city had gone to sleep, but the nocturnal population stayed awake, thriving on every essence of the night life to pray upon the weak.
Allucard sat down, his back up against the side of the building. He had one arm around Ravelyn as she drew her legs in and hands to underneath her cheek. She closed her eyes, and slowly drifted off. Allucard did not wake her, nor even try to move her. She had had too many experiences for one day. He knew that both she and Qui must be physically and mentally drained.
He looked up at the stars. How many there were of them, and how far away they seemed.

Daniael knew he would have to kill or capture her so he made the decision to jump down into the riverine to take her by surprise. But what to do about the humans, chances are if I present myself as an authority figure they might run, but I'll have to catch the girl before she escapes. Daniael decided that leaping down behind the bridge might give him the needed cover for his approach.
Daniael kept his ears open and moved silently to the edge of the opposite side and leapt, being Lycan he landed softly and moved under the bridge. When he was half way through he saw that the humans were fornicating, and in a public place nonetheless, but as he moved his attention moved back to the girl. When he exited out from under the bridge he made an advance toward the group near the slope.
"What are you kids doing down here?" Daniael asked in an authoritative voice.
"Oh crap, the cops, run!" was the oldest boys response.
Daniael then made a feint to chase them and when they were running, he began chasing the girl. From the look of it she had yet to uncover her Lycan abilities, so catching up to her was easier then previously thought. As Daniael caught up with her, he launched himself at her like a wolf and landed quite acquiredly on top of her with her arms held in his hands. She began to scream but to no avail, sensing that all was lost she just surrendered, figuring that he would rape her then kill her. But to her surprise Daniael did neither, he turned her over on her back and handcuffed her. He then put his knee into her back to keep her still.
The girl yelled, "What are you doing? You can't do this, do you know whose daughter I am?"
"I'm handcuffing you, I already did it and I may not know who you are, but I know what you are."
"What do you mean, by that? She said somewhat shaken by the sentence.
"Tell me, were you attacked or bitten by a large dog or wolf?"
"Yes, but how did you..." was all she could muster as a response.
"Huh, your a 'Lycan', and I'm a 'Hunter', it's my job to know."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about you being turned into a 'Werewolf' for lack of better term, by another 'Werewolf', the large dog or wolf that bite you. You see when they attack they purposely drool into someone's wounds when they want to turn them. Or they kill and eat them, and from your scent you have yet to turn fully or kill a human, that's good you see. It means I don't have to kill you now."
"But, werewolves are just a legend, like vampires, right?" She said unsure about the vadality in her sentence.
"Oh, no, trust me, they're real, in fact I'm like you in more ways then one, I too am a Lycan, and I too haven't killed a human with my fangs or claws. But unlike you I joined a little order dedicated to stopping the night war from spilling onto the streets."
The girl took this all as a big joke until Daniael turned her over. On her back she was forced to watch him transform into his hybrid form. As she watched him, he could tell that her eyes were filled with terror. Not at the thought of him being a werewolf, but of herself being one. As Daniael then lowered himself on top of her, he pressed down until his muzzle was in her ear, and her small breasts were pressed against his chest.
All the girl could do was stare out into the water with her eyes wide and teary. When the girl tried to ask she began to stutter at the thought of it all, "Will ... Will I kill, will you kill me, will I be able to control it?"
Daniael said in his deep growl of a voice, "You will try, and I will only kill you if you kill a human, and as for the last question I cannot say, but If you come with me, I will help you."
Daniael then eased off her and began to turn back, as he did so he began to put his clothes back on. Then uncuffed her hands. Still shocked she laid there and looked up at him in his human form, then asked, "Can you really help me?"
"Daniael answered, "Yes, I learned to control my hunger, and I will teach you to." Daniael then helped her to her feet and as he did so, she fell into his arms. And as she looked into his still yellow eyes she felt safe, safe that she would not harm anyone. He then asked, "What's your name?"
She answered in a half voice barely loud enough to hear, "My name is Kari, Kari Kulani."
Daniael then took her with him back to the bar, and out of the night, and under his arm.

Hours had passed, and words passed silently between Allucard and Ravelyn. Ravelyn stood up, and breathed deeply Allucard looking at her eyes, trying to see if she realized what she had asked him to do. “It’s not a gift, Ravelyn it’s a curse…and I can’t do it do you!” he said exasperated at her persistency.
“I know what it is; I used to live with it for millennia. I can handle it and you know it. I can keep both realms in check. I’m not complete Allucard. I used to have quite a bad streak. It gave me leadership qualities, and the ability to break open my power. It gave me more understanding of what good and evil has ever meant. If being a vampire was evil, then I would have caused a lot of destruction. I didn’t. My blood can change…it can adapt to any blood added to it. I never had to forsake my seraphic wings, because I was good. No matter what I was, for the most part, I did things for the right reasons. You know I was good. You know what I could do. You know how I used to be…”
“You’re so pure now though, I couldn’t…”
“The tainting of the blood has nothing to do with the tainting of the soul. The inquisitors of whispering voices learned this when they put me through trial. I survived the test that only inquisitors survive. A vampire, passing their damned trial? I made a mockery of them without even trying so. It was their own stupidity. Only God has the power to judge me. Others words mean nothing to me…”
“Except Vaughn,” Allucard said quietly, trying to get her to change her mind. “He would want you this way—“
With that, Ravelyn punched him across the face, causing blood to trail from his lip before the wound healed. Her eyes narrowed. “VAUGHN loved me for who I was not what I was. He wouldn’t care if I was a human! Vaughn loved my soul.”
“I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to bring it up. But if this is what you want…if you think you can adapt…then I will do what you ask of me.”
She brushed back her hair. This would be the third time she would be bitten. He lowered his head and opened his mouth, his fangs slowly sinking into the soft flesh.

It was then at that very moment Takeda decided to make his move, but instead of revealing his true form. He decided to send a message, a silent message. As Takeda drew his demon blade, he cut the border realm of darkness and earth. Doing so would allow him to give his message, without revealing himself.
Through the tear in realms flowed an ebony flood of darkness. As the darkness moved across the floor towards the bed, the demon sent both his voice and message into the form, so that he may be heard. As it wrapped it's way around the bedposts it reached ever near it's target. Allucard. The darkness then leapt into his eyes and ears, allowing him both to hear and see the demon's message.
"Stop, what you are doing, have you no control? Stop now, and I'll let you live to see the end of days, the day you seek." As the message flooded Allucards vision a dark phrofevy was foretold ..., "Now know this, from this day forward, 'brother', that if you betray me again, it will not be a message I send, but my blade."
Then the darkness retreated through the rift and faded from all senses as if it was a bad dream. But as the shade left, it too left a whisper for it's target, "Should you ever try that again, remember what I promised." And then the whisper faded like the shade before it.

Sigrun got up and walked over to a table that held a small picture upon it. He recognized one figure smiling back at him. She had long brunette hair and a perfect smile to match. It was none other than Ravelyn. The other in the picture was a male, but he suspected it was the only one she loved with all her heart.
Vaughn.
He studied his features carefully. His hair hung slightly in his face, but was brushed aside enough to show his face, including his eyes. Rave was nestled in his arms, one arm reaching back and wrapped gently around his neck as she clasped his other hand across her stomach. It seemed that they had been at some casual function, as they were dressed nicely, but not too nicely.

While the voice in his ear spoke, "I am no one, just a simple traveler who has business at this address, please don't hurt me, I ... She than began to weep uncontrollably, while the voice in his head began to speak, "Leave us be Elf, or you shall anger me." OOC: You did it again, didn't let me respond. Oh well, I'll just work with this.
IC:
Sigrun lifted himself from the fallen position, his head hung down. He looked back up the stairs at the girl that stood there, continuing to knock.
His eyes flashed with a rage that had become unleashed, a rage few ever saw and lived...
Ravelyn, Allucard...there's a bloodsucker nearby, get yourselves somewhere safer. I'll take care of this threat.
His voice called out to the girl, softly but with a cold ice that penetrated the soul of the being.
"I warned you to not anger me. You are nothing, vampire...I have battled demon lords, and watched them fall before me. And now, you shall as well..."
Sigrun swung the anti-demonic blade Lanta before him, bringing his other hand to bear back and charge with arcanic energy. He released the spell at a startling speed, it's essence forming quickly into that of a sharp daggers that would penetrate and skewer the flesh and bones of the vampiress. The daggers of arcanic energy plunged forward, powerful enough to throw the girl into the wall to her left, should it connect...
Sigrun followed through with his attack, by ascending the stairs, Lanta now at the ready. His voice continued to speak:
"Vampire or demon, or any other variant, this blade is your bane. You will suffer my wrath, YOU foolish one..."
OOC: All right, I just released a very fast moving attack spell on you. It will be hard to avoid that attack, unless you either a) put up a magic shield, or b) are a god, and the latter is obviously not allowed here. She tilted her chin up and he kissed her, sensing no more hostility. That's the one thing that the Shentavo's were known for; deception. She bit his lower lip harshly, and felt the skin break. She felt his blood touch her lips and he pushed her away.
"You tricked me," he said, looking at her, not knowing what to think.
"I said i would end it later, and I did," she felt the blood rushing through her veins. Her eyes began to turn crimson.
"Why did you do this?" he said. "It's a---"
"Gift as well as a curse. I taught you that." HIs eyes widened. She had remembered. She placed her hand on his forhead. "Sleep now." Allucard dropped to the ground, and she turned toward the door. Now weilding a set of fangs, skin growing paler by the second, she threw open the door, and saw the woman and Sigrun.
"Bitch?" she questioned, leaning her hip to one side, and crossing her arms. "Bitch? That what you just called me? Is that the best insult you have? Then I pity you, apparently your vocabulary is only marginal. I would think that the longer a race survives, the more advanced and eloquent it should become. Apparently I am greatly mistaken." The woman's right hand moved in such a way that few could see, but Sigrun did and understood what it ment, she was going to leave the body. And let the young girl die ... unless, Sigrun did something. As quickly as she began she stoped, and all presence of another being was gone, all that was left was the girl. Sigrun didn't want to kill an innocent girl ... but what could he do?

As the young girl saw the attack approaching, she increased her prayers. The daggers of arcane energy continued plunging forth toward the girl, their path uninterrupted. Yet the voice of the master was spoken and the daggers became nothing more than water, colliding into the girl. Although drenched, the girl was fine for no harm had come to her.
"Little girl. Your purpose here has ended. Return to your home in peace." Sigrun commanded to the praying girl, now drenched in water.
Sigrun took the last step to the upper landing and remained where he stood, watching. He nodded ever so briefly to Ravelyn. He could see the old fire in her eyes once more. The scent of blood filtered into his nose and he widened his eyes slightly.

The girl was paralyzed with fear, not only from the attack, but from the two entities that shaped her fate tonight, a strange luring voice, and a bright being, who's name she believe she knew. As she squatted their with her knees together and her legs spread apart, she looked ... a sight.
The young girl, did not flinch or even breath for that matter, it was as if her soul had be taken away, but she felt it's warm presence, and knew she was safe. But that didn't move her, or give her strength, it did little but reassure her. The young girl began to cry as she noticed the wet feeling she had between her legs. She didn't know if it was her piss, the water, or something else, all she knew was that tonight she was a simple catholic student, and now was mixed up in something she knew nothing to little about.
But perhaps it was the exhaustion or the fact she didn't car anymore, whether she lived or died, but she chose to speak, "I ... I, can't, I ... I hurt myself." Which in fact she did, not only did she sprang her ankle, but she busted her arm as well. "I can't, my foot ... my foot won't hold."

"Sure, sure," the old man then poured two beers, "one for you and one for your friend." Kari then took a seat next to Michael at the bar, "You know what you two remind me of myself and my wife, just before I married her, you two make a fine couple, that you do."
Kari again began to blush, "Yeah, can't say we don't, but you see she ain't my girlfriend, but that's just at the present."
Kari than spoke up, "Oh, and you see the two of us together in your future? Do you?"
"I didn't say that ... I just meant that I we ever did hook up we'd make a good couple."
Kari then laughed, "And who said I didn't want to date you? Huh?"
The barkeep than spoke up, "Yep, just like, when I was young."

Allucard laughed. "Ravelyn has to be here. You don't really understand that, do you? Do you think she wants to be here? Well, she doesn't. She wants to get away from this world. Can't you see that? I will not stop her. Her soul is as pure as it has ever been. You are a fool, brother."
___
Ravelyn looked at the girl. "No. if your soul was pure, you couldnt' have been possessed. I see you for what you are and the liability you are to me. Die by your own sword or by mine, but you will die. One way or another, it is inevitable." She looked at the girl, and then Sigrun.

As Angela crouched on the floor she muttered something, "Then I am forced ... to ... defend myself ... if I must." She was then reaching for a weapon of some sort when ...
__
It was at that moment that Takeda moved out of shadows and into the hall. Takeda then moved quickly and put himself between the girl and Ravelyn. "Lady Ravelyn, I will be taking this girl from you, if you don't mind." Takeda then motioned for the girl when Ravelyn thrust her dagger through his chest.
Takeda laughed, "Lady Ravelyn, you can no more kill me, than you could a shadow." Ravelyn then discovered that there was no matter to his chest, and in fact there was none. The area of Takeda's chest where the dagger struck turned to shadow the second the dagger touched his skin. "I will be taking the girl Lady Ravelyn, unless you can give me a good reason not to?"
__
As the man stood over her, Angela thought for a second time her prayers had been answered, that was until the woman thrust her dagger into his chest. But he didn't fall, instead he laughed and began to speak. Angela was scared by the man, but was grateful for his unusual arrival. She then began to move her hand away from the dagger between her thighs.

Drake, I'm just trying to see fluidity between the posts...how is it your guy stepped between Ravelyn and the girl, when she had the girl by the hair, and had slit her throat? Nevetheless, once again, I will ignore the spasmic posts, and continue for the sake of the thread.
IC:
Sigrun watched as Ravelyn's dagger buried into the man's chest. Yet, he did not fall. Of the shadow you reside. So the shadow you shall remain.
Sigrun quickly envisioned a sealed box of pure light that surrounded the man. He opened his eyes, the words coming to his lips softly, melodically as he watched the spell weave itself quickly into place.
Sigrun's voice was heard once this was complete, "Of shadow you are, so by light you are imprisoned."
Sigrun turned his eyes to the girl, "You cannot decieve me child. Your ignorance to the ways of the world will be your demise. Now...BE GONE!"
Sigrun waved his hand and a portal opened up behind the girl. A gravitational force pulled her toward the portal and through it. She was whisked to another world, barren of plants, sand everywhere. The sun was strong in its relentless scorching rays...
She turned to the sound of the portal closing and sealing in finality...

Sigrun looked back at Ravelyn, "You take too long." he muttered with a cool look.

(OOC: No, I believe she made the motion, but never touched the skin. She said "horizontal slash towards her neck", so I don't think so. I'll ask her. But either way she dropped her, and actually Takeda is standing over her not in front of her.)
IC:
As the girl was taken away Takeda remarked, "Idiot, she was innocent, the spirit that possessed her can only do so once, then never again, but no matter I can easily recover her. And as for your little spell, it only works if I try to use shadow magic within it, but if I ..." Takeda then moved his had threw the box, "See, as long as I don't use shadow magic I can leave, in peace."
Takeda still in the box stood there motionless until ... "See you don't seem to grasp the reality of the circumstance yet, owe Lady Ravelyn, I am but a messenger, sent to see if you will aid my master in a coming affair." Takeda then waited for a response, to having one, he spoke again, "I believe you know him ... quite well. In fact ... I believe you wanted him ... once ... after all he was once ... king."

Angela was trapped on this barren world with nothing, but at least she was away from those that would harm her, so she began to walk, and walk she did.

The beginning of your post was very good, and you looked promising. Apparently I was mistaken. I give up. I absolutely give up with this thread. I seriously can not stand your posts Draconis Federation. People popping out of no where: no enterances, relation to one of my characters we had not discussed, excessive lack of effort. You don't care about developing the storyline, you'd rather just rule the world and have my characters do as you bid. Sorry, doesn't work that way, as you don't control my characters. You are probably the worst person I have ever rp'd with. And I've rp'd with one sentence writers before. I am very pissed off at your telegrams. Your not in a position to threaten my characters with a godmod or myself for that matter. I never wish to rp with you again. Stay out of my sight, and stop your TG threats, it's not impressive. I usually have fun with these rps, and this has just been an excessive 'hit my head against the wall' so i don't have to look at the posting anylonger. :mp5:
Tarl, I'm sorry. I will be starting this thread over again, but not completely. Tg me for details.

(OOC: Well if you tg'd me with your ideas every once and a while I might know where you want to take this thread, you can't blame the dog for not rolling over if you didn't teach it to him in the first place, geehs. Throw me a fricken bone everyonce and a while, I'm not a fucking pyschic.)
