How do you get scores for NS Sports?

I was thinking of starting an American Football League here on NS, but I do not know how to factor scores for the games... so I was wondering if their is an online service or spreadsheet that people use to get the scores, and if not, how do you get the scores manually?

Well, for one, there is an American Football tournament already underway. Secondly, you will find your answer in the Wiki entry for 'Scorinate' (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Scorinate).

Did you realize that he didn't ask n00bish questions but had one specific question which the wiki cannot answer.

Thanks, but I have another question: I've went to the site, downloaded Legion, but I can't find where to download JAVA-JRE, bt while searching for it I found this...

Kurt Huwig has discovered a vulnerability in Sun Java JRE, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in "com/sun/jndi/dns/DnsClient.java", which causes an internal counter to be negative after 32768 DNS requests. This can be exploited by triggering a large amount of DNS requests to cause an application, which performs DNS lookups, to get an DNS error thrown whenever a DNS request is done.

Successful exploitation can potentially cause a DoS in the affected application.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.4.2_06.

So, is there a place where I can download a newer, safer version? If so, where?

Well I'd like to point out Leagion would give you Asociation Football scores, and not American Football scores. I don't have an answer to your question, however.

I don't know why everyone tells him to mess with java I simply use the excel sheet created by Vilita (but there are probably others out there). I didnt have to install a single thing, just open up the file, type in the matchday and say hello to the new scores. You can find lots of formulas for excel like in the under 21 threads i see them it has something to do with the ranking of the team mixed together with a random number and i assume the ranking of the team they are playing and then it awards goals that way and adds them up for you very nicely :)

Get it from: http://java.sun.com
I am not using any kind of web programming for leagion, do this bug doesn't affect leagionaries.

@Crystil: Leagion is more versatile than a SS.
