For some time, the President of The Corporate Utopia Land of Liebermonk has been Jeffrey Doyle, however, with recent elections, someone much different will take office. The new President of Liebermonk is now the first female president in Liebermonk. Lerathen, the new president, is also not a human, but actually of the small Elven population of Liebermonk. Her name is Lerathen. Some of you may recognize her name as she is the Queen of the Lieber-elves. She has, and still will continue to rule her elves with absolute power, however with the Humans she now has control over, she only has minimal amounts of control. The Libertarian nation puts little power in the federal government. Many fear that President and Queen Lerathen (which is now her official title) will attempt to abuse power. Even if she does, the Elves have assured the rest of the world that she is a very benevolent and caring leader, and that no matter the amount of power, she will continue to act as such.
Her election is a big step in the re-unification of Liebermonk. In recent years, the humans of Liebermonk have lived in space colonies, while the elves have remained in the land. With the new elections, it is believed that they will continues to work closer together to make a common goal occur.
International relations will be effected by this election in almost no way. The Queen of the LieberElves has made many alliances withother elven nations. Her election as President will only allow these alliances to spread to the entire nation of Liebermonk.
To celebrate her victory, President and Queen Lerathen of Liebermonk would like to invite all national leaders to her innaguration ceremony. It will be a grand event held on the Liebermonkian Captial Ship in orbit around the moon. The ceremony will begin on the 27th of December and will continue through the night. Celebrations will continue until January 1st, with the welcmoing of a new year. Coordinates of our ship can be sent upon request, as well as transportation provided for those nations who are unable to travel in space.
