Constitution of the Kingdom of Serenity State

We The Rulers of the Kingdom of Serenity State, in order to fulfil our duties as the overruling body of the nation, recognise the need for Constitutional Monarchy within the management of the state, allowing subjects of the nation certain inalienable rights that cannot be taken away from them without good cause, of which said rights will be laid out herein. In the spirit of freedom, liberty and justice for all, this Constitution will be the basic underlying document upon which the governance of the nation by the Royal Family and by the people of the Kingdom shall be provided.

Article One – The Rights of all Peoples of the Kingdom

1.1 – The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to free speech, to express their own views and interests, to criticise the state and the ruling family and to protest over matters displeasing to them with no retaliation from the State.
1.2 – The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to choose Ministers of the Crown within the Cabinet in fair, frequent and regular national elections.
1.3 – The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to democratic representation within the Chamber of Representatives through fair, frequent and regular Constituency elections.
1.4 – The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to bear firearms for the action of self-defence, excluding Automatic and Heavy Weaponry and any other weapon deemed illegal by law.
1.5 – The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to refuse to serve in any armed force, whether devil or military in nature.
1.6 – The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to a fair criminal trial proceeded over by an impartial jury and judge. Citizens have the right to ask for a replacement jury or judge if they feel that any participant may hold biased views against them.
1.7 – The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to for office as a Representative of the People (RP) or a Minister of the Crown serving in the government.
1.8 – The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to form political parties to represent their own and other likeminded political, social and economic interests and opinions.
1.9 - The Subjects of the Kingdom have the right to privacy within their own home, excluding activities deemed unsuitable by law.

Article Two – Additional Rights of Representatives

1.1 – Representatives have the right to raise questions to Ministers of the Crown and Royals in the Chamber of Representatives.
1.2 – Representatives have the right to vote against draft laws put forward in the Chamber.
1.3 – Representatives have the right to run for office as many times as deemed wanted.
1.4 - Representatives have the right to democratically discuss and propose changes to draft laws put forward by in the Chamber of Representatives.

Article Three – Additional Rights of Ministers of the Crown

1.1 – Ministers of the Crown have the right to seek an audience with the Ruling Royal on matters of national interest.
1.2 - Ministers of the Crown have the right to at least on cabinet meeting per week to discuss, propose and question items including, but not limited to, draft laws, matters of national interest and actions by the state.
1.3 - Ministers of the Crown have the right to run for office as many terms as deemed wanted.

Article Four – Additional Rights of the Royal Family

4.1 – Members of the Royal Family have the right to chair all Cabinet meetings of Ministers of the Crown.
4.2 – Members of the Royal Family have the right to propose their own items including, but not limited to, draft laws, matters of national interest and actions by the state.
4.3 - Members of the Royal Family have the right to override items including, but not limited to, draft laws, matters of national interest and actions by the state, unless at least three-quarters of the Chamber of Representatives disagrees.
4.4 - Members of the Royal Family have the right to an uninterrupted speech to the House of Representatives on matters deemed of National Proceedings.
4.5 – Members of the Royal Family have the right to represent the Kingdom in diplomatic terms.
4.6 – Members of the Royal Family have the right to appoint Royal Emissaries to represent the Monarchy during times when deemed that this action is necessary for the safety of the family or due to numerous time constraints.
4.7 – Members of the Royal Family have the right to privacy from the media within the confines of the Royal Estates.
4.8 - Members of the Royal Family have the right to take five percent of monthly tax revenues as tithes from the populace.
