Yeah right. Too many proper tackles and handling skills in League for the average rah rah to comprehend. Stick with your kick and fumble

:) Sure, to much stamina in union is there, to hard to score? To much (Dare I say it) Intellagence? Sure you have a more pacy game, but for real grit, stamina, determination and skills you have to come to union. Though if you don't want to hurt your brain then stick with league.

Maybe playing League gave you brain damage?

OOC:HAHA! A tech call! thats a gd one...hehe.

Since when did you need anything other than your shirt, shorts and boots(Oh, and underware) and your sorted, mind you, the ball could be extra aero dinamic...

Anytech nation can play, but we use RL stuff and rules(we better!)

I take it this is proper international style? And whos going to Ref?

IC: VP would like to enter their internattional team to the championship. A complete list of players will be sent Upon request, key players are listed here(our most famous):

No.2, James Gondras

No.5, Myself, Minister of Sports, VP, Benjamin Haderswell

and our great fly-half, Andrew Waters.

OOC: i play fowards, lol. I dont know the possitions all that well, etc, but i like the game(its great), scrums are fun!

Hope this isnt to hard on my mind :)

There are several differences, one has 13 players, that one isnt as dangerous, its more like if you tackle them then you stop, and move back or something, i dont like it, the other is 15players, like we here are doing, that just carries on after a tackle etc, thats the type of rugby you get to watch internationally.

Basically the type we play here is the type you see when its England V. Australia or something, look out for an international match on TV if your interested.

Are those your locks or your back row?

It dosn't matter if you don't know the positions it's pritty simple.

It is international style, national amthems ect.

Oh and HFI, you can use genestealers and things, but nothing bigger than a human or stronger than human, okay, and no killing.

Crystils in rugby switch

Nine members of the Crystilakere Crystils nationstates world cup finals team have abruptly quit and joined the newly formed national rugby team leaving Crystilakere football coach Hazem Emam in a shortage of substitute options. All of the nine players were cited as saying they were fed up with consistently being overlooked by Emam for a starting role despite their strength and ability. The one exception former Crystilakere central defender Jules Hitoto stated that he never much liked football anyway so rugby was a good move for him. Long-time backup goalkeeper Gaetano Novello leads the switch to the rugby team, leaving Under-21 youngsters Alwasi Tystrup and Alcir Barbara to fight Emiliano Addis for the goalkeeper position. Joining Novello in the newly formed rugby union will be former defenders Alejandro Ayala and Francesco Schiavon. Under-21 midfielder Massmiliano Rosi joins experienced substitutes Paolo Gallo and Riccardo Vecchi as new additions to the rugby team, while little-used attackers Benjamin Kuhn and Christian Benedetti will kick aside the football and pick up a new target the next time they are on the pitch. These experienced footballers will be joined by attackers Billario Gallo, Mattias Spagatti and Marian Vicenzio and defenders Mark Leiter, Reddy Malio and Rene Corbetla from the Crystilakere minor league of rudby as the first members of the Crystilakere national rugby team.

After being prodded by Vilita/Turori, I'll do it, if no-one has any objections. I've already got a Rugby Scorinator Sheet of my own in M$ Excel to use. If anyone wants to see how it works, I'll provide you with a link to it.

Being that there's no calculable difference between nations who have not competed at an international-level sport before, I'd make it a very RP-Bonus-based competition, as that's the only real way to differentiate between the nations.

About RP Bonus (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/RP-bonus)

Anyway, everyone plays each other once and then the top two go to Quarters, Semis and 3PPO/Final.

Anyone object?

I've no problem, anyway, better go... I guess i might get on at the same time tomorrow.

This is the way I'll present scores, so you can decide who's done what.

As opposed to me giving out 6-14 and letting you do the maths, you'll get this:

Home 6-14 Away
Tries 0-2 Tries
Conversions 0-2 Conversions
Penalties 2-0 Penalties
Drop Goals 0-0 Drop Goals

Sailor was in because he can tackle properly (with him been ex-league)

Rules sound fine to me will start posting tommorow.

I'd prefer JSD, Cueto, Robinson or Olly smith on the wing, or big Ben Choen, Lloyd.

That sounds fine Starblaydia

It's virtually random, but the more you RP the more you are likly to win.

And that's the way it should be, as RP Bonus shouldn't automatically equal wins, and we'd all be on roughly the same level to begin with, what with the last Rugby World Cup being anything up to 30 NS years ago (according to CS at least).

So randomness it is, unless you have a better idea.

Yes, how else would you have had a chance of getting 53 points in one match?

We like to play a decent sport, unlike some. And where tough. *Looks at footballer rolling in agony after being it by a flying toothpick. In the arm*

Aust, you're getting dangerously close to Spaaming (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/RP-bonus). Please cease the 3-line posts in an attempt to raise your bonus.

I not doing that just for that. I am trying to put my coaches points across, but after the point what else is there to say? And that post started off as the coaches quote and a match ratings thread, but I had to get off the net quickly, so I saved the half finished ratings and just put the coaches comments. Rating will be up soon.
