ooc- This is the parade for the King of Burgundy. Just pretend the units are already there. At the end, preend they left already. I will post when it is over.

ic-"My dear citizens of the Kingdom, I was coronated by the Cardinal in my private chapel earlier today. My Uncle, Cardinal deVito, chose me as king because he knew my abilities. Let me give you some backround information on myself. I am only 26 years old. I attained the rank of Colonel in the Ridgian Army. I was appointed Duke of Innocent (province) by the Cardinal, the first layman ever to hold that position. There will be a parade later on to commerate my coronation. It was done in private so Burgundy could have a King as quick as possible. Any suggestions, you are welcome to telegram me. God Bless Burgundy, God Bless Emperor Napoleon, God Bless cardinal DeVito, but most of all, God Bless YOU" Bellowed the New King of Burgundy.

*The Cardinal can be seen in the backround surrounded by his own guards, the Carabinieri. They glared at the Imperial Guardsmen as they walked past, ushering the King.They walked with the Cardinal, as he went back to the cardinalatial palace.*


The Cardinal then came to the posium,
"A parade will now commence to honor the new king" he then walked away.


As various units of things marched, crowds cheered. In the Beggining was the new king, on a throne. He was next to, or should I say, below, the Cardinal. The Cardinal was in the place of honor, the crowd would notice.

The Carabinieri was representing CR in the parade.

The Kingdom of Jerusalem (Jeruselem) has decided to send a different kind of army to help celebrate the occasion. It's not the current army but one which many would have seen in the middle ages. Not guys with guns, but real Knights. Yes, we are sending the Inquisition knights who basically look like the French Knights of 13th century. We want to bring a little history into this parade.

The Eilite 1st SF Squadron

Upon the orders of his Majesty, Napoleon IV, the entire l'Aigle division of the Imperial Guard, dressed in the uniforms of Napoleon I's Old Imperial Guard, would be in attendance. They paraded with flintlock muskets, but should things turn ugly, kept atleast a conventional semi-automatic and a couple of grenades under their waist coats. This amounted to nearly 35,000 infantrymen.

The Guard also sent it's Chasseurs a Cheval de la Garde, 6eme Division as well as the Cuirassiers de la Garde 4eme Division arrayed in their dress uniforms, taken from the 1806 pattern used by Napoleon I's soldiers. These ammounted to 10,000 cavalry.

The Emperor has also taken this as the occasion to unveil the new tank that has been produced by the Empire. Breaking with the old Reichsfuhrer tank chassie that was used for decades, an entirely new breed of heavily armoured, super fast and super powerful tank had been built upon an extraordinarily light weight titanium chassie. It was the marvel of the Empire's armed services and was christened the Ulster Tank in honour of the UVF and its work towards liberating Reichskamphen.

Nearly 500 such enormous Ulster tanks were to be put on parades, their operators also dressed in the 1806 Chasseur a Cheval uniforms.

The Cardinaltial guard had snubbed the Imperial Guard on a number of occasions. The threat of rebellion ever present, the Emperor and the Imperial Guard decided to make a display and show exactly who was boss. At the head of the column would be riding Marechal de l'Empir Auguste Marmont the Hero of the battle of Reichsburg. He boldy led a group of 16 Imperial Guardsmen...himself...on foot...into a nest of Pax Maria gunmen, eventually turning the flank of the position and killing most of them, but not without loss to himself. Beneath his uniform would be copious bandages. He had been shot nearly 10 times.
