Celack

In the buisness section of downtown Etteradi, Capital of Celack, sits a building. Its unremarkable from the other building surrounding it by it’s looks. It contains fewer windows but no-one cares. To the general public, the building is the headquaters for Celack arms ltd. What is remarkable about this building is that it is not the HQ for Celack arms ltd. It is actually the HQ for CI-7, the Celackian intelligence department. Deep in the heart of the building there is a subsection for a newly formed team. Pass the glass airlock doors, and in the heart of the section, there is a conference room. In the conference room, there is a plasma screen on the wall which can be used to display images for briefings. The conference room is ringed by several desks, and office, and there is two halls, at east and west, leading off to several function rooms. Each desk has a phone, a computer linked to the CI-7 mainframe and several items that each team member has brought to it. In the conference room at the moment a meeting was happening. Director G. Mann sat at the head of the table and gazed out onto the six people assembled in front of him. He began to speak.

“Welcome ladies and gentlemen. You have been taken out of the teams you used to be in to be part of this team. The reason for this? You are the best we have and we are consolidating you. You are the elites. You are the go to people. Now to get you aquanted with each other we will go around the table. When it is your turn, you will state your name and specialty.”

A female Pyscho Rabbit nods and begins to speak.

“Mamie Bee, communications and computers, expert with handguns.”

Johnathon Faloo. A black 27 year old man who's been in demolitions a long time. He's not new to blowing things up, hell he could work a grenade before he could walk. He was human also, not a bunny like some Celackians were. He stood at attention, his fade and tape being the most noticible features of the man.

"Johnathon Faloo, demolitions, expert with SMGs sir!" He shouted. He was also good with electronics too, because these days bombs had fancy computers.

Robert Roemeg, or Rob, or Ro, or R, depending what you chose to call him. Born with rich American parents, he always got the best out of life. Due to his good life, Robert left school well educated, and continued onto College and then University, leaving with a few degrees. However, Arthur had always had the dream of working for the CIA.

Luckily, he made it in after a few months. Living out the life of a CIA Agent, Robert enjoyed his work, and slowly made it up the ranks, to eventually team leader. He continued in the CIA for a few years before moving to the FBI. However, while he liked his job at the FBI, it was too much paperwork and not enough action. And so, Robert transfered to Team Rainbow, where he was put in charge of Rainbow Eight, and had stayed in Rainbow Eight...until today.

The thirty-nine year old sipped his coffee, and waited for Nagy to sit down. Then, all eyes fell on him. Robert stood up, and smiled.

"Hey guys. I'm Robert Roemeg. I've had eighteen years experience at leading team operations, and filing reports, but I normally like to do the latter."

A few people cuckled.

"Anyway, I will be the team leader. You could say that I'll be the brains behind the team, but don't worry about keeping me alive out there, I've had enough experience with Sub-Machine Guns as it is."

OOC: OOhhhh... looks like fun. May I join?

"Sir, ready when you are, sir!"

So stood up the mountainous Terry Shefford. The quiet, unassuming Canadian was content to stay out of sight and out of mind, but responded out of impulse more than want. His stony features showed not his mood, and his eyes showed not but cold grey.

Terry was not hostile or rebellious, he merely answered and did, keeping quiet while he worked or thought. But not many people at this new organization did not know that, which made the enigmatic Canadian a grim, imposing sight.

o.o.c. A dark laboratory. There is a scientist hunched over a thread, which is attached to a lighting rod. Predictably, lighting hits the rod, and the thread starts to move

"IT's Alive!!! Alive"

I apologise for the abandonment of this thread. I pretty much suffered a burn-out from rping. I am back however with not only a new storyline for CI-7 but also with a Rp that will end in the TOTAL DESTRUCTION OF CELACK. The conclusion will not be for another 6 months in the least.(The link to the first part is in my sig.)

So Inbreedia, beacuse I'm running low on participants and the fact I have a soft spot for fellow Canucks, especially those who know about JTF2, means that your in. Anyways, breifing later.

Sorry bout the OOC only post.

Also, expect some action in the AMF/Dumpsterdam war. Mostly beacause Celack is involved in it. The IC briefing will hit around 9 pm EST.

A man in the back of the group who was resting against a wall straightened and motioned with his hand. His face was entirely covered in bandages, except for a small patch on the right side of his face where a single eye observed his teamates. He was dressed in a tight black body suit, in which a countless number of small and deadly knives were hidden.

"Maximillian Siegrist," He said somewhat apathetically. "Tourture and Interragation." He left the conversation at that and went back to his corner.

Leaning back in a chair along the middle of the table was a female... of some spieces, no one could tell exactly. She appeared to be humanoid, as she was wearing a black metalic bodysuit that exposed the characteristic curves of the female gender of most human-esque spieces. The bodysuit itself had a dull metalic sheen, like black metal that had been throughly scratched. Her face was wrapped in what appeared to be a silk scarf, but probably was some high-tech synthetic material like her bodysuit. Her eyes shown through what appeared to be a faded patch in the fabric, green lights in the middle of a black canvas.
"The name's Helina Ray," she said in a smooth whisper of a voice, "I specialize in sniping as well as all forms of CQC, both with melee weapons and without. I was a test subject for the Resi Corporation a long time ago while they were working on cybernetic augmentation. During one of the field tests I escaped and have been working as a mercenary for hire ever sense. I picked up a semi-permanent contract with Celack, and here I am."
She had been adjusting the scarf on her head while she was saying this, and as soon as she finished two cat ears popped out of the mesh.
"Damn them," she muttered, "They're impossible to keep flat."

Name: Ray, Helina
Age : 29 (give or take)
Sex : Female

"Just keep me away from EMPs and haywire electronics," Helina muttered, tucking her ears down again, "some of my body's parts don't work too well with those."

Helina eyed Bell, her keen eyes not missing a thing in the semidarkness of the room. She noticed the twitch when her ears protruded from the scarf, and decided that it would be in her best interests to keep some distance from this one, she seemed to have a thing against other non-humans. Or maybe just Nekos.

She narrowed her eyes acrossed the table at Bell, watching her to see if she'd let her personal phobias slip yet again. The round glowing jewels beneath the scarf shrank into slits very noticably, and Helina remained silent.

From a chair in the corner, a man in a blue uniform stood up, with his back to the rest of the team and his head turned so that he could see them. He looked classically Tiburonese- a mix of Japanese, American, Canadian, and Indian. The four ancient states of Tiburon. He took out a small handheld computer and uploaded his information onto the holoprojector. He smiled, and then began, "Major Silaz Niotera, Tiburon Air Force. NATO called me here to take over if Rob's down." Although he tried to hide it, he clearly disliked working with assassins and soldiers from dictatorships. It was a Tiburonese thing.

Director Mann stood up and cleared his throat.

“I do believe that this is all of us. Now to the task at hand.”He reconnects the plasma screen to the CI-7 mainframe. A picture of a man displays on the plasma screen

“This is Frank Shiva. He is a known arms dealer. Last night, he was found dead with two silenced rounds in his head in his office. An anonomys tippster called it in. It is believed it was the assasin who called it in. When the police it was discovered that there were several crates of weapons. Not out of the ordinary for an armsdealer. However, the weapons were high end military weapons, many of them which are exclussively produced by Celackian arms LTD.. There were also several tanks and a few Avro Arrow mark 2’s as well. This is a disturbing revelation. It appears that the late Mr Shiva had a high end connection in Celack arms LTD. It will be your mission to track down this individual and if possible eliminate him. We need to keep this one quiet. If word of this leaks out, there will be widespread panic.

Any Questions?”

Mann looked over the gathered crowd and thought to himself

Christ! Who the hell authourized the goddamn assasins? Why the hell do we even have goddamn mercenaries in this building not in Handcuffs? Sometimes I don’t get Tuesat.

I can tell Bell is going to be fighting her instincts here. Christ! They should have warned me there would have a been a cat-like humanoid here, a nikos, or nike, or whatever the fuck it is. Well I know who I can trust at least and there are two Celackians

Helina had indeed been warned of the presence of Psycho Bunnies and what her catlike appearance might do to them, which is precisely why she wore her silksteel headscarf as she did now. Normally it only covered her eyes and her mouth, leaving her nose and ears exposed, but she made special consessions for Bell. In all honesty the "slip up" with her ears was a test of Bell, to see how she would react to a Neko's presence, and she had gathered all the data she needed to know from that one telltale twitch.

"If it was just the weapons he had," Helina spoke out, still eyeing Bell suspiciously through her scarf, "then he could've stolen them or gotten them through his contact in a more covert way. However, Celack is an organized nation, the authorities would've picked up on a few missing guns, much less airplanes and tanks. There must've been some record of this "sale", probably to a fake nation. We should work fast before the dead man's contact freaks and changes the recordbook."

Terry Shefford was the first human to clue in to what was wrong with this setting.

For one reason, he was one of the few pure humans. He saw other humans, but they were a mix of exotic cultures that he would have found normal in metropolitan Vancouver or Toronto, or even in Calgary.

It was the aliens that he found perturbing.

He saw cat beings, slinky females that were voluptuous to the eye but shocking when his gaze managed to work its way upwards. Cat ears. Cat eyes. Cat whiskers and nose, even cat fur, and sometimes all at once or a smattering of each trait as others were traded for more humanoid features.

Terry also spied a rabbit being, her ears popping out over her head in a comical fashion.

The only person that looked like he was from around 'here' (as he perceived) was Roger Roemag, and he looked like a bloody yankee!

And then there were others, too bewildering to describe. He did not want to go there.

Then there were the foreign names. Celack? Where the hell was Celack? Was it a breakaway Soviet republic going through another one of its multicoloured revolutions? It wouldn't have surprised him, for it wasn't until a few weeks ago that he had heard of the nation of Kyrgystan, whom underwent its own revolution, and as far as he knew, was still trying to sort itself out. Celack could be just one of those, even though it lacked the proper 'Stan' at the end to legitimatize it as such.

But still, he could not shake the feeling that Celack did not exist, or he would have heard about it at some point.

It was then that Terry had to ask himself....

~"Where the **** am I?"~

While Director Mann debriefed away, Terry took a glance around the room for a map. When he did see one tacked by all four corners on a corkboard, Terry's eyes bugged out as he felt for the first time a sense of true panic.

The map showed a world, but one in a far more unfamiliar shape.

It didn't take long for Terry to piece together what he was seeing, and what he saw he didn't like.

~"Oh crap."~ Terry bemoaned his fate as a stranded Canadian in a new found world, ~"I thought he was drunk when my Captain warned me about this..."~

On the bright side, Terry succeeded in reporting to Director Mann, which was his orders....

Maximillian chuckled quitely as his eye noticed the large Canadian man start to glance around the room nervously, staring at each of the team members. This just proved that size didn't matter that much-Maximillian hoped that the big man wouldn't chicken out at any time during the mission.

Maximillian drew himself out of the corner, carrying a large and mysterious duffle bag. He set the bag down and started to unzip it, looking up at Director Mann as he did so.

"Of course you realize that a single man doesn't have much use for all those vehicles and weapons. Someone-Mr. Shiva, Perhaps-was obviously building some kind of small army. We could be getting way over our heads here."

Maximillian reached inside the now open bag and pulled out what seemed to be a Derringer pistol the size of a large dog. He admired it for a moment, then strapped it onto his back.

"Still, even if we end up outnumbered, this gives me a chance to try out my newest toy." Maximillian hefted another case marked "Ammunition" and slung this over his back as well.

"When do we leave, and more importantly, do we have any leads as to where our mysterious assassian friend might be?"

"My thoughts exactly. The news of Shiva's death and the raid on the warehouse hasn't hit the news yet so there is a chance that he hasn't found out about it. The police have put a tap on the phone in Shiva's office so if the traitor calls, we'll have him.

"Both. The team is going to be investigating this, and probably doing the takedown. We'll need people in each city where Celack arms LTD factories are. The team that goes to Benelencu will have double duty though. That is where Shiva was based and killed so you'll need to link up to local police.

You, yourself, Robert, will be here, co-ordinating the efforts of the team, and running the investigation here."

Silaz was next to speak. "What I'm more concerned about is the end result of this high-grade weaponry. It's quite evident that Mr. Shiva wasn't interested in the weapons in and of themselves- he'd be running a militant group, not an arms dealership. It's evident that he intended to sell it to someone- a rogue state? A terrorist faction? An enemy of NATO? And what if this was a follow-up, and he already sold such weapons in the past? How do we find out the extent of the infiltration inside Celack Arms, Ltd. and how far these weapons have spread?"

"What we intending to find out here is not only who is selling weapons and distrubuting them, but also to find out where they are going. WE have no idea if this is the first shipment.

I suggest to find these people, wehave some people head to Benelencu, check Shiva's phone reocords, the warehouse for fingerprints,et cetera. I suggest we also look at Shiva's known contacts. I think we might be able to find a few rats if we ask them the right way."

"A very good point," Helina purred in her muted voice, "The group that planned to buy from Mr. Shiva has a vested interest in protecting the traitor. Perhaps they know the identity of the traitor and Shiva was just a way for the traitor to dissociate himself from the buyers, or perhaps the buyers have no idea who the traitor is. Either way they'll be trying to protect the very source of the weapons, but one way they'd be stuck in the same boat as us, trying to figure out the identity of the weapons supplier. And, if whatever operation they're running hinges on their ability to get these weapons, I'd bet my ears they'd know more than we do about the traitor's identity right now. Maybe we could set a trap for them, pretending that Rob over there is a replacement for Shiva. Of course, we'd need a few Celack weapons and such as props, but I have no doubt of our ability to secure those through our employer.
"If we did go ahead with this trap plan, we'd need to figure out a way to contact these people. Were there any clues at the scene of Shiva's assassination that show how they contacted eachother? A cell phone, perhaps?"
