This is the OOC thread for The Underground Goes International (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=382525). You can sign up here and have Out-of-Character discussions. Pretty self explanitory. Visit the thread (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=382525) for more information on that RP. Ask OOC questions here.

If ya need a place to filter funds through, or keep sensitive information, or expose sensitive information... Moneylaunderingstan works. Sure, small country, but it's made up of nothing but "expatriates" (people who bought Moneylaunderingstan passports for various semi-legal reasons) and "citizens" (the few thousand people on Moneylaunderingstan proper who fudge the books and keep the equipment maintained).

Moneylaunderingstan itself is three discarded oil supertankers run aground on a South Pacific sandbar and lashed together. It's in international waters and the sandbar -is- land, so it's its own country. Smooth, eh?

That's nice, I'm sure, but I want nations' rebellious organizations that want to take over their governments to join. Support is welcome, but member groups are even more welcome.

Time to go to the region to see who wants to participate...

Are space nations allowed in on this?

Ya, but said rebellious groups need money, probably in funds their governments can't trace. Just a thought.

I would like to join in this meeting with you. But I need a couple of assurances. First, how do we know that this is not an elaborate government sting to aprehend terrorists? And secondly, how are you going to cover the fact that there will be a lot of activity in an abandoned village?

If these issues can be addressed, then I will be happy to attend such an elaborate meeting. As you may know, I am working for freedom for the islands of Cikae, freedom from the opression by the Intelligent Neighbor's corrupt government. If you can aid us in this quest, we would be very thankful when it comes to distributing land.

Al-Lehmann, supposed head of the CFF

OOC: I would very much like to be involved in this meeting, and I have a cunning idea on how to get to the village secretly.

I would like to join in this meeting with you. But I need a couple of assurances. First, how do we know that this is not an elaborate government sting to aprehend terrorists?Trust me. The Nanakaland government is on the edge of a civil war. They don't have the resources to set up something like that.

And secondly, how are you going to cover the fact that there will be a lot of activity in an abandoned village? It's in the desert. No one lives there any more. The government wouldn't waste any resources monitoring it. They believe it's impassible and deserted. Besides, on the brink of a civil war, the government has other concerns.

[OOC: Oh and sorry for being late in the response. I've been sick, then it was Christmas, then I was visiting relatives in Pennsylvania for a few days. The list goes on. But now I can resume this RP.]

Ya, but said rebellious groups need money, probably in funds their governments can't trace. Just a thought.Sure. We need more members first, though.

Shall I just assume that the answer to my question is "yes"?

Yes. Nanakaland itself has FT elements. Future Tech is allowed, just don't abuse it. No impenitrable armor or orbital bombardments (on earth), etc.

How could you ever get everyone on NS Earth to agree to being orbitally bombarded anyway? Yes, this game is truly ****ed up. But that's okay. I have a few guys who'd want in on this. I'll pop in as soon as time allows.

I need a sizable amount of people to join here before the first meeting is RPed and the unique alliance is launched. I may create special forums for the Underground after the network is launched (in this RP).

This might be a bit late, but I will give it a shot, anyway. 'Course, I don't wait for approval bfore posting in the RP thread. You have to embrace inspiration once it hits you :P Be it Nanakan or Moneylaunderingstani support.

Nanakaland- since we are involved with the parrallel RP(which is only somewhat parallel) we may be very minorly involved in the thread if thats okay with you.Sure. They are only somewhat linked (in that they are both sequals to the return thread, both take place in Nanakaland, and both will combine to a civil war RP), but I guess they are linked enough...

I guess all there is to ask now is if you're interested in having a representative of Moneylaunderingstani 'services' show up. ;)

Sure.
