Somewhere in Allanea – Alexander Kirillovich Kazansky was slightly depressed. Well, he was always depressed, it was his near-perpetual state since return to power – or even the Battle of Perfection. At least today, thought his aide, he wasn’t just sitting there, drawing in his sketchbook. He never found out what the President was drawing. After he filled a sketchbook, Kazansky would drop it into a fireplace in the Presidential mansion, without letting anybody see it. Then, he would start a new one. Today, he was definitely less depressed than usual
“So,” asked Kazansky, “It seems the UNAPS is dissolving. Moreovr, those Terrans have joined the Accord. This is news. Very good news, I’d say. In fact,” Kazansky’s face changed slightly, and a tinge of a smile appeared, “It’s party time!”
The various Kazansky Administration members in the room cheered. They all knew about the news – and the party. It was just that Kazansky was supposed to announce it. Coffeine, MDMA, and “Party-pills” were passed around, together with tea, Coca-Cola, vodka and beer. Not only politicians – nearly every major Allanean celebrity was there. This was shaping up to be fun…
