Hello I'm a recently new nation and I wanted ta get the meet and greet out of the way. Here's the intro. If ya can think of a way for me to improve this add a post, or if yer a mod and it's in the wrong place, just telegraph me and I'll get it.

Shanodin Forest is large, heavily populated rural-looking sprawl. It is mostly covered in forest, with small towns scattered throughout. Most of it's population survives on it's own without any support from it's government. Being slightly drunk and on multiple drugs, the founding parents of the nation named the capital city, Capital City. In accordance with the will of their dictator, the citizens do not live in Capital City, but it is maintained for the use of warehouse, industrial and corporate (I.e. warehouses, banks, factories, and corporate headquarters) use only. All the other cities are similar in that they are used mostly for warehouse, industrial and corporate use, but the citizens are allowed to use it for housing also. Capitol City also houses any foreign diplomats that might want to set up an embassy in the nation.

Shanodin Forest ‘s capital can be considered high tech, using grav-tech for it’s transportation needs, and high strength alloy materials manufactured in space. So far only the capital city has been remodeled, making it the gleaming diamond in the coal surrounding it. It’s main port facility, Porter Town is fairly high tech, but still relies heavily on modern-day tech for it’s everyday needs.

Due to it’s relatively isolationist policies, and the fact that the population density isn‘t that great, every citizen is required to be a member of the military. The Shanodin military or 'Shanodin Rangers' use specialized weapons ranging from medival-styles to modern-day with some future tech and tactics that have been proven over the histories, utilizing whatever resources necessary for quick, effective strikes to achieve their goals. The Shanodin Rangers also use heavy mechanized assault brigades for open field fighting, utilizing any fast moving gear that gets the job done. For the times that air strikes and intercepts are required, the Shanodin Air Defense Force (SADF) uses pilots trained from a very young age to defend it’s skies with some of the most advanced strike fighters and aerospace craft they know how to make.

Shanodin Forest has recently enlarged it operating theater to include open space, using a floating billboard that is also a factory/science/university vessel for it’s main aero/space research and development department.
