Talon Military Industries, in conjunction with the Omega Nine Military and Police Research Institute, recently developed a highly advanced non-lethal weapon system for use by civilian police forces. This weapon (designated the TMI "Cobra") attaches to the user's forearm like a bracer and, when activated by specific nerve impulses, projects a bolt of electricity that will almost immediately incapacitate a target at up to fifty meters. Each bolt is high voltage/low amperage so as to cause minimal physical harm while simultaniously disrupting the target's muscle control (research shows that multiple hits may cause permanent nerve damage). Since the Cobra attaches directly to the user's forearm, this eliminates the problem of having to draw a weapon. The TMI Cobra is also self-recharging, and requires literally no maintenance.
Now that the TMI Cobra has entered full-scale production, it is availbale for export as a civilian police weapon. If requested, the government of the Independant Sub-Orbital Colony of Omega Nine will supply a small team of specialists to aid in proper training. The asking price is $200,000 per 100 units. Each unit comes with a lifetime warranty; if at any time the unit ceases to function, simply return the faulty unit to Talon Military Industries and you will be supplied with a new one within a week.
