Sure. Be advised, though, that this is the road to division, not the actual civil war, so combat won't happen too much. This RP is mainly a character RP in which the tensions build. It'll have a thread paralleled to it that'd probably start later this weekend or next week/weekend that follows the Underground, but that's a totally different story. Both plots will collide in a civil war thread that will start probably next month if not later.
I know, I just want to RP as a rebel general in the Senetorial guard.

Just there for clarification. That'd clear ups some loose ends from old Nanakaland RPs before the resurrection and enable many new plots.
