Okay, heres the deal:
Its the year 2017(you don't have to be 2017 tech to participate) and the worlds economy tanked. There isn't enough food for people and there are regular riots. Everything is censored and the government is ruthless.
There is also a show that is addicting and is all they show on TV. Its called The Running Man and in it contestants have 3 hours to get through 4 quadrants while Stalkers(Large men with weapons) Chase and try to kill them while the audience watches. The course expands through all sorts of places.
Then one night there is a food riot and a military officer is told to kill 1500 unarmed civilians. He refuses and is detained. The civilians are eventually killed and he is framed for it by the military. One day he and his friends escape. Once he is caught he is given an option by the founder of The Running Man. If he comes on the show and survives he will go free and if he doesn't go on his friends from prison and will almost definatley die, little does he know they will just end up on the show with him. Now they have to get through the course alive to tell the truth about the massacre he didn't start.
Does anyone like it?
