Former Californian President Sandra M. Devnostræva, as she leaves her office as President
at the Sovereign Californian Government Tower in downtown Greater Los Angeles.

After over five-hundred years of leading the Californian Sovereign Democratic-Socialist Federation, Sandra Michelle Devnostræva will be leaving office effectively at 9:00pm PST tonight. Elections are to take place the next day on the nineteenth of November. With out-going President Devnostræva supporting the Federative Party in this election the probabilities look as if the Federatives will control the Parliament this electionm and with the Democratic-Socialist Party splitting back into the Democratic and Socialist Parties alot will be happening in our nation once the new President is elected.

Former President Devnostræva waved to citizens gathered near the entrance of the SCG Tower before stepping into a limoussine and driving to her estate in Ranch Palos Verdes.

This afternoon newly elected Californian President Alexa S. Vassaretti has been sworn in as the 2nd Californian President after winning the election with 57.14% of the Popular Vote. As she arrived at the Sovereign Californian Government Tower in Downtown Los Angeles this afternoon with her entourage several Los Angeles residents lined the streets as her limoussine made its way there. Upon making her way to the newly dedicated S. Devnostræva Conference Center, President Vassaretti met with the former President Sandra Michelle Devnostræva and had a private discussion lasting two hours before going on to take the Oath of Office. Upon being sworn in as the Second President of California she told the press that she "will be doing thinhgs alot differently than [her] predecessor." When asked if there was any bad blood between her and the former President, Ms. Vassaretti smiled and said "We have no bad blood between us at all, while we may differ in political ideals we do see eye to eye on several issues and that has made us friends over the last few years. Sandra and I have made a lasting relationship as allies as well as political rivals but it has never once influenced our friendship."
Alexa Sharon Vassaretti will be taking office effectively at 9:00pm PST for the start of her term as President, Let us just hope that Ms. Vassaretti will be able to direct this country like her predecessor has done for the last five hundred years.
