Preferably somebody who I haven't RP'd with before. I've noticed that recently I've just been RP'ing with the same people over and over again. We might use puppets, RP as different nations, and do different types of RP's, but in the end it's the same mind controlling my opposite. I'd like to branch out a bit.

So, if I haven't RP'd with you before (Or even if I have and it's just been a while) let me know if you'd like to set something up. National interactions, character stories, I'm up for anything.

Oh, let me just say this. I want to RP with different people: But I will not RP with you if you can't spell. I've been told it makes me a jackass and turns a lot of people away, but I just can't abide by bad spelling. I'm sorry, but if you can't spell we wont be doing much together.

Some info for those ignorant of me and my nation:

Future Tech (Far future)
Inhabit the Stellar Systems Deneb, Regulus, Epsilon Pegasi, Gamma Draconis, Ross128, and SR-2091 (My Capital)
IC pop of about 10 billion, but (since I like to avoid the whole 'Godmodding' thing) I actually RP with just the pop of Klonor itself (Just nearing three billion)
Government is generally peaceful and non-aggressive (I've yet to be in one single officially declared war) but vengeful if spurned (I've been in many un-official wars that end quite quickly ;) )

Maybe everyone is afraid of you. ;) Personally I have other RP obligations and am not an FT nation.

I looked at it, but since the Golden Simatar is a slightly advanced modern tech nation; I can't join your Rp.

Though I have some space going now, my nation was solely sword and sorcery (still is in many areas) until just recently. Any interaction with space going nations is largely by they're contact, either intentional or accidental.

I remember that in the Second Age of Nanakaland, there were evil aliens named Stalkers. Perhaps they attack Klonor so Nanakan veterans have to come in because they have the most experience with the aliens?

Any way to dig up old threads here? I believe I did 3 RPs on them.

From memory:

Stalkers are highly intelligent, but don't show it. They don't like to communicate with their prey. They look and act similar to the aliens from the movie Alien. They get the name "Stalker" because when the Nanakan Space Marines first encountered them onboard an alien vessel, the Intreprid, they stalked their prey and took out the marines one by one.

They infect ships and kill the crew (leaving most of the ship to look like a ghost ship). When their food supply goes down (the crew), they go into hibernation waiting for any ship from any race to stumble upon it. When any life form from another ship stumbles upon it, the Stalkers kill any boarding party and then launch "pods" to attach and infiltrate the passing by ships to feed.

Stalkers are a durable race and have been wiped out three times before by the Nanakans, each time they came back more powerful than before. Even though all traces of Stalkers have been destroyed, there may be a temple to them on a foreign world where they originated and they may come back...

I did come up with the temple idea long before Alien vs Predator. Of course, it doesn't seem like my idea any more. Oh well.

Anyway, it sounds like a great idea. There are ways to dig up old threads (In search you can make it search for threads older than a certain age) but since you've been deleted and resurrected it wont show up when you search for Nanakaland. Do you remember anybody else who was in the Rp's that still exist?

[OOC: I have *some* future tech stuff but I've mostly stayed modern. I decided to go modern tech because my previous free-form RP (years before NationStates) was a future tech RPG. It was so long ago that 14.4 k modems were considered current tech and you had to be an OMG! I PWN J00!!!111 type to even have a 28.8.

Having said all that, if you're desperate for a FT RP, I can help out in a pinch. I might just surprise you a bit. ;)]

Okay, I think the start of the RP is pretty obvious. Mystery ship in Klonor space, marines board, marines die, etc. Do you want to just start it up and see where it goes, or do you think we need some sort of guideline?

Rough guidline is:

Klonor ship gets attacked.
Aliens threaten Klonor.
Klonor calls in Nanakaland.
Klonor and Nanakaland fight Stalkers.

I've got an idea how to start it though.

A tradeship finds a deserted planet. On there is a temple. They accidently press a button which clones the Stalkers back into existance. Stalkers take over tradeship. Klonor marines find ghostship.

The rest is pretty much what you said or what I said. The ending is open.

Basically where I left it off, you can either RP some kind of interaction or stumble upon a ghost ship. It's all entirely up to you until you call in experts to help with the Stalker infestation.

Yeah. Techon may get in because Techon was involved in the other Scream in Space ones. Other than that, you'd pretty much have to apply and come up with a way you could get involved if you want in.

[OOC: I'd possibly like to be involved in this...but only in a 'cameo' role. Essentially, my nation will be developing a form of inter-system FTL - or, rather, has already but has been developing it to the point where it's useable - and I thought it may be interesting if, by sheer chance, they Transition right into difficulty. Either they get destroyed or they do some stuff and Jump out again when the calculations are done (as this is the critical difficulty with my FTL system, which is called T-Drive, thus preventing multiple Transitions quickly, which would be a ridiculous tactical advantage). Either way, a short cameo role only.

This is because I'm not really sure if this is entirely the direction I want to go (as in my nation becoming an interstellar-capable civilization just yet or perhaps at all in any appreciable timescale) - but I want to get more involved in roleplaying here again, and well, RP is RP is RP.]

Well, we have for main nations (Klonor, Nanakaland, Techon, Lunatic Retard Robots) and a cameo (Ma-tek). I think we need one more nation for a complete RP. A nation that sides with the Stalkers (so there can be some space battles). What do you think, Klonor?

Hmmmmm.......we need somebody who wont mind getting a bloody nose in this fight because, if these aliens are as deadly as you describe them, I'm guessing the Duke's gonna start hurling nukes around like water balloons.

Wel, if you want someone else (as well as Outer Heaven, that is) I'll happily volunteer as a neutral who gets drawn in (Sann doesn't like getting involved in wars, and I wouldn't mind an excuse to do the whole "we're a poor nation surrounded on all sides by enemies").

I'm trying to get back into NS after a pretty impressive period of absence, so have been wandering around the forum ;)

Alternatively, if you just want a nation to get hammered, I could use New Lakedaimon for that.
