This is my first attempt at an rp on the nationstates board, who knows, maybe what they say here about II is true? Well, if you want to prove it to me you can join this rp.

Basic summary of the plot

The influence of the MPSA (Momanguise People's Security Agency) has mushroomed over the past five years, climaxing with the agency seizing control of the country. This rp follows the last forty eight hours of a man marked down for assassination for leaking sensitive material to a foreign power, and is a tale of the human suffering and physiological damage that he undertakes.

Momanguise controlled characters

Turo Gesser: The condemned man, who sold stolen documents in order to feed a petty drug habit.

The Gaurdian: MPSA assassin, who ultimately kills Turo (or does he?)

Open characters

Foriegn Agent: This person was sent by the power buying these papers in order to moniter the transfer. Note that if you accept this character then you are also the power buying this information.

Simin Kulac: Drugs baron, a fugitive from the MPSA.

Rarul Gemp: Regular police officer, is contacted for help by Turo.

Gregori Sampson: Corrupt double agent, responsible for both selling the secrets and revealing Turo as the buyer.

All of these characters play a major role in the rp, which will be called 'The bell doth toll for thee...', and if anybody would be interested enough to fill these roles then I will TG you the extensive plot details. In advance, thank you for your time.

Well, I can say the dig you start off with probably won't win you too many friends. I think we've all had enough of the ridiculous II vs NS arguments of late. I know folks who play on both, no troubles. I still don't see what the big deal is. Play where you want, with whom you want, and call it good.

Anyways, as for the topic, sounds interesting. This being your first thread over here will likely have folks a touch standoffish as well, given that the characters are already pre-generated, so to speak. From what I've seen, those sorts are more rare, and have usually been among the ATG and such crowds. Still, I think it has potential and hope some folks bite.

Been going through a spot of block myself of late, but if you were willing, would be interested in the Foreign Agent bit, given the Dominion's background and such. I could even work it as not so much the govt but my merc team who is known to gather such info for the govt on more than one occasion. Depends on what interests you that way. At any rate, willing to give it a shot if you're willing to put up with me. ;)

Best of luck on getting some other folks to bite. I wouldn't say people here are snobby so much as busy with their own stuff and/or hesitant to take a gamble on some unfamiliar folks after having been burned badly on repeated occasions. That and we have our share of 'OMG RAWR' folks here as well, as seen in a recent thread about a first contact situation that I'm rather frowning about ... anyways. Yeah. Sounds cool.

Hmmm...corrupt double agent - sounds like my kind of guy! I'll have a go at Gregori Sampson. Looks interesting...very interesting! :)

I'd like to take on the role of the Foreign Agent, please. :)
