Parliamentary Bill 0001 of the Second Parliament of the Resurgent Dream:
By order of Parliament, automobiles, computers, and other modern items banned in various kingdoms based purely upon a rejection of technology are hereby proclaimed legal throughout the Empire, though the Kingdoms retain the right to implement such restriction and regulation as they shall deem necessary for public safety and order.

"Another day, another market!" chortled Thierry Saltz, the obese president of Peacock Motors, as he flicked through the Imperial Financial Review and stuffed another whole croissant into his mouth. He pressed the button on his intercom.

"Marie, come in here. And bring some more coffee." he commanded his secretary, who dutifully entered Saltz' office a few minutes later with a fresh pot of coffee.

"Your coffee, Monsieur." she said.

"I want you to run down to Marketing and tell Charles Fizconstantine that the Resurgent Dream has just allowed automobiles into their country." he said, his mouth still full of croissant, as he held out his mug for his secretary to fill with coffee. She did so, and he placed it back down on the table after having a sip.

"Here, take this with you." he said, handing her the news magazine. "Page sixteen. Tell him to start looking into how to exploit that market! There's a good girl. On your way."

"Fat pig..." Marie murmured to herself on her way out after the bloated businessman pinched her behind.

Mr. Saltz has any number of ways he could get into the market. He could always enter the TRD economy as an international firm and set up shops himself. He could export cars to TRD dealerships. He could arrange to build factories with TRD labor and essentially reap the profits off TRD labor AND markets. And, of course, there are many more creative ways yet.

From the office of Bernardo Di Medici:

To our esteemed freinds in the Empire of The Resurgent Dream, greetings and salutations.

It does our hearts good to hear of this recent development, and in the interests of mutual assistance, we hope to offer our services to your new markets. Not only do we have some of the highest ranked manufacturers, but our style and quality cannot be beaten.

In matters of transportation, communications, computer and IT related products and services, clothing and fashion, meats and produce, all manners of conveniences, luxuries, culture, and not to be forgotten, wines and spirits, I believe you will find the Dominion a buyer's dreamland. I am certain in return, our citizens would have an interest in your own exotic goods.

Please find enclosed several brochures, contact lists, price guides, and other information you may find helpful in getting an idea of what all we have to offer. I hope that we will be able to work together on bringing both our peoples what they need and want, and am confident that we can come to an arrangement that satisfies both sides of the equation.

Sincerely,

Bernardo Di Medici

Dozens of shops, guilds, and businesses send orders to various companies mentioned in the brochures. Thousands of computers, meats, articles of clothing, automobiles, locomotives, and other things of that sort are ordered and exports of magical artifacts, natural items, and other raw materials are offered to various interested companies in the Dominion.

((Sorry for the crappiness of post. It's kind of tricky to play out the actions of whole economic sectors at once in a way that doesn't sound dry.))
