Let me tell you a story of Honour and Glory...(the UVF fights Catholic Emperor)

The day was wet. The Humidity made the air almost fluid and beads of sweat were prone to gather anywhere they could if one walked outside. The rearview mirror in the 1968 Ford Pickup was fogging up due to the damp air and oppressive heat. Billy McFadzean reached up with the cuff of his plaid, stained, work shirt to blot away the condensation. "Damn Kamphstadt." he muttered to himself as the truck rumbled away down a muddy road just outside of Kamphstadt, the southernmost port of Reichskamphen. It wasn't Kamphstadt proper to be exact, it was a little hamlet called Balleymena that seemed to be a perfect anachronism. There were about ten buildings downtown and a dusty town square in the centre where little children froliced around the small fountain. It was dedicated to King William the Great of Reichskamphen, or as these Reichskamphians, of Northern Irish extraction liked to call him, "The Other King Billy." All the buildings were tudor style, with wood and stucco. There was even a small pub underneath the main tavern where the men of the town would stop after work for a pint.

As the truck drove past, a group of little schoolchildren ran towards the truck waving. "Hi Billy!" they all yelled to him. It was a town where everyone knew everyone else...for better or for worse. Billy flashed a great white smile and waved wildly back, driving past them. He only went on a little further, a bit towards the outside of town before he parked his truck and then walked back towards the town square. The little kids saw him coming. "Give me a piggyback ride, Billy!"

"Not today, Peggy." he smiled, patting her on the head, and walked into The Loyalists' Den, the local pub. As he entered the smoke filled room, six men sat silently at the bar, the bartender among them.

"Finally." a big man with a gray beard sighed as he saw Billy come in. "We can get down to business."

"Just give me a bottle today, I've got to drive back soon." Billy said to the bartender who quickly produced a bottle of Guinness, popped the top, and sat it infront of him. "So, Randy" he said to the man with the gray beard. "Who is this special guest?"

Before he finished his sentence, a man stepped out of the shadows. There was nothing very extraordinary about him. He was average size...maybe a bit chubby, but not much, and had red hair. "I'm Patrick Shays, Commander, Battalion 3, Greater Prussian UVF."

"The UVF?" Billy seemed puzzled. "My grandaddy fought with them in world war the first, and I heard of them doing some things back home, but what are the UVF doing here?"

"The Ulster Volunteer Force represents something glorious to these Reichskamphians." the Battalion Commander said. "It represents the victory of Protestantism and Loyalism over Papistry and Irish Republicanism. So, when this fellow, Emperor Leipzig came out and allowed Rome back in, and betray his people to Popery, they began to form up units using our name. We decided to make it official and send them a helping hand. I am one of 100 men from Northern Ireland who were sent here to help these people free themselves from these Papists."

"So where do we come in?" asked the town Barber, Phillp Slattery.

"Anywhere you would like." Shay's replied. "But where we need you the most is to help us with gunrunning operations. Your grandaddies did it before they were sent off to France, and now you too, should you agree, shall assist the cause of freedom by bringing these weapons out of the dock areas you all work in, make sure they are uninspected, and make sure they are safe. You will then distribute them to the battalion commanders who requisition them."

"Why do you need gunrunners in the first place when you can go buy one on the corner?" piped in the bartender.

"These aren't ordinary guns, they are Imperial Issue to the SpecOps unit...and not everything is strictly to be considered a gun. We have tons upon tons of the heavier stuff as well." The Battalion Commander looked at his watch. "In about ten minutes, something is going down in Reichsburg. Watch it on the news tonight...and think how much bigger and more sweeping it would be with your help and with these weapons."

The men stared blankly at the man for a moment, giving timid glances to one another. Finally the bartender looked around and said, "I don't care if Leipzig himself tries to shoot me. I'm with you."

"Me too." seconded Billy. The other men soon agreed to join.

"I'm not leaving!" shouted the desperate Presbyterian Minister. "This has been my church for 30 years, and the people of this church stand behind me! The pews are filled to a man, and you won't move us!" He stood infront of the door, spreading his arms like a human shield.

"I wasn't going to move you in the first place." smirked the Imperial Sherriff, "They were." he motioned behind him to 50 men of Emperor Andre-Allistaire Leipzig's personal guard, funded by his own money, the Pax Maria Divison. They stood in stark contrast to the fiercly Protestant, yet loyal Greater Prussian Imperial Guard who were supposed to be his personal guard and now also composed the bulk of the Greater Prussian Military. These men were basically forming a Romanist Militia uniformed and funded by the Emperor. The men shouldered their rifles, removing the safetys and began to move towards the church, the minister shuddering in fear, yet remaining in place by conviction and faith.

Then the cracking of a 50 calibur machinegun cut the air as it mowed down Leipzig's men. Some hit the ground and returned fire, only to have grenades lobbed at them by men they couldn't see and continue to be fired at by a machinegun that seemed to be constantly firing from a differant position. The grenades sent plumes of dust, rock, blood, and flesh high into the air as loose limbs went flying. The last 5 men of the Pax Maria unit formed a human shield around the Imperial Sherriff, already wounded by a bullet. As they looked out, they saw a Kubelwagen, mounted with an MG-43 pass by, waving a flag with the Red Hand of Ulster on it. The men operating it were dressed all in black and wore a badge on their chests, but the men of Pax Maria couldn't make out what the badge said.

15 men dressed similarly, descended on the embattled men and the sherriff from seemingly out of nowhere, picking off the men one by one, but leaving the sherriff standing there, ducking and trembling, almost crying.

One of the men who also wore a sash across his chest approached the quivering man. He leaned down and whispered into his ear the words that were written on the very city gates of Reichsburg..."Papa Personna Non Grata." before he pulled the trigger, reducing the sherriff's head to a bloody pulp.

Just as quickly as the men had appeared, they vanished, leaving behind the blood, the corpses, the shattered and severed limbs...the pain and the anguish...but a free Church.

Reverend Rainley was talking to his accountant who was as expected a Jew. "Goldstein, how are the Church's finances?" he asked the Jew who didn't bother to look at him and uttered coldly "You're better off being Catholic the way you're going". He stood in disbelief and stood his head.

Rainley's son turned up with suitcase. "Hi, Dad. We broke again?" he asked his father. The Jew said "This church is always broke. Too much money spend on foreign causes". The son opened the suitcase and said "This should help". It was full of US bills and the Reverend nearly fainted. "Where in the name of God did that come from?" he gasped. The son nodded "Just say, from a foreign benefactor but I can't tell you the truth, smiled and walked out.

The Jew looked at the case and said "That will last you two years" and started counting. He picked up a $100 note and didn't look happy. Another examinination with an eyeglass. He grumbled "Counterfeit, better bank this very quickly". Rainley said "Half of it to Ulster Volunteer Force in Reichskamphen and the rest to pay debt". The Jew looked even unhappier and said "Well, take this to a rural area to convert. Or we'll have the Inquisition swarming all over this place."

The Reverend sealed the suitcase and was about to take off when the Jew fired the last comment "You son's Counterfeit business is useful, but tell him to stop soon or you'll be burying his cremated ashes very soon. You can't fool me with that funny money.".

....

<Later that day>

A small shed in the Islamic section of Jerusalem. Two Arab guards saw two vehicles belonging to the Inquisition turn up and they decided to flee. Two Protestants in the shed heard the noise, grabbed their guns and headed for back exit. As soon as they got out of the shed, Special Forces were waiting for them. "Put the guns down!" they were ordered. They couldn't see who said those words and pointed their guns into the bushes, then decided it was stupid idea to fight. They put their guns down and put their arms in the air. Someone behind them pushed them to the ground and secured them.

In the shed, David Rainley was hiding with his gun for the Inquisition to turn up. Two SAS members silently headed into the danger zone. The lights were turned off. Using night sights they spotted Rainley and they a flash grenade in his direction and turned away. A bright flash lit up the shed and Rainley fell over from shock and knocked himself unconscious. It was all over.

Rainley and his cohorts were lead away knowing this would destroy his father's Church. The shed was full of printing equipment and undeniable evidence of a counterfeit operation.

A figure sat in a dark room, the glowing red bud of a cigar could be seen and the aromatic smoke wafted throughout the room, a shadowy figure walked into the room..."The resistance has begun sir...the men are ready to aide the UVF take down Leipzig.."

The clink of ice sounded as a cup of scotch was set on the small table in front of the shadowed figure. "Good...I owe this to my good friend Paisley...Leipzig is rubbish and while this may seem unethical or unconventional...it's for the best." a sigh could be heard coming from the man, his voice was deep and tired sounding. "Make it so...send the soldiers to the UVF and take down Leipzig..."

* Reichsburg, Reichskamphen *

Three men walked down the street. The three where all different from each other – and yet there was something alike between the three, something that separated them from the crowd. It seemed that two of them where protecting the third, walking at his sides. All carried bags – the man in the middle, a long, cloth bag like the ones hunters use for their rifles, the man on the left, a simple tourist bag, and the one on the right, a violin case. All wore small silver crosses. As they walked, the youngest whispered: “It’s scary, Father… what if they catch us?”

The man at the middle replied: “We went through worse. Your father, who died fighting McPherson’s scum, went through worse. You should be brave, son. Make you father proud. Think of the psalms if that help.”

And the boy whispered:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.

The chaplain shuddered as he looked about him. Yes, previously, this was a safe place. Today... on a second thought, the kid was right. This was scarier than Perfection. In Perfection, they had fellow Volunteers fighting besides them, and the entire nation backing them up. Here, they were alone a hornets' nest. Even without any consciousness thought, his lips began moving, forming the words of the psalm:

He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

They kept praying, even though they feared that they be given out as Protestants - but, once they began the words of the prayer to their god, they thought that stopping would be worse than continuing. After they were done, they noticed they have just reached their goal - the spot where their UVF contact was to meet them.

12:00 Pm Kampstadt, Reichskamphen...The Docks.

"Billy...get over here." a voice called out. Billy, cautiously approached the stack of crates from which the voice emminated.

"Who's there?" McFadzean asked timidly.

"Us, Billy." the men, clad in black with UVF badges on their chest, slunk out from behind the crates. "Come on, boys."

The UVF soldiers crept aboard a large ship, the King George III. They moved the boxes and crates off the ship quickly and silently. One by one, they were transferred to trucks which began distributing the weapons, both large and small, around the entire country...but more specifically...to Reichsburg.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Count Dietrich von Oberhausen, now the Arch Chancellor of Reichskamphen as well as the Crown's Foreign Minister, sat in his office in the Foreign Ministry, now set up in the old Palace that used to house the Duke of Reichsburg since the Foreign Ministry had burned to the ground a number of years ago.

He glanced out the window and down into the streets. Beyond the Palace walls life continued on as normal. With the King of Reichskamphen in a state of extreme depression, and secluding himself in his office, Oberhausen was the defacto head of Reichskamphen, and probably the most influential man in the Entire Greater Prussian Empire aside from Ian Paisley.

Emperor Leipzig's numbers in every country, with the exceptions of Cherry Ridge and to some extent Cav, were appallingly low and there were nightly protests all around Reichskamphen as well as a mounting campaign of attacks against the Pax Maria Militia. It was getting so bad, that there was talk in the Imperial Palace about relocating the Capitol.

Oberhausen's phone was ringing off the hook, but he just let it ring. He was deep in thought. A letter, closed with the seal of the UVF sat on his desk, unopened.

"To betray my Emperor and save my Country...or to Betray my country and save my Emperor..." he mused to himself as he noticed a crowd beginning to gather around the new Papist Cathedral that had opened up. It was midday mass and as the bells rang, nearly fifty people exited the Romanist building. Pax Maria Militiamen, armed to the teeth with assault rifles, formed a perimeter, keeping the peaceful protesters away from the building and the parishoners. Two Militiamen sat atop the entrance to the church with MG-42 heavy machineguns overlooking the streets.

One of the men in the crowd pulled out the RedHand flag and began to wave it in the air. "UVF!" one of the Militiamen shouted and opened fire into the crowd with his rifle, mowing down men, women, and children. The machineguns atop the church soon opened fire plowing down the men in the crowd.

They weren't the UVF, but accross the street in an aparment, there was a man with the real UVF. Upon hearing the gunfire, he rushed for his sniper rifle, threw open the window and picked off both of the machinegunners atop the Church.

"Gunfire!" the Militia Captain shouted as the gunfire was trained on the UVF man's window. Oberhausen looked on as the bleeding and dismembered corpses laying in the street were shot in the head to ensure their departure from this world as more militiamen suppressed the gunfire from the window.

The UVF man had grenades but didn't throw them as there may have been non militiamen in the streets below. Instead he jumped up, firing off a single shot which collapsed the cranium of the Militia Captain and dropped him to the street. Before he could drop down however, he was riddled with bullets, and a rocket propelled grenade was fired into his window. Within minutes the apartment was ablaze...and the fire was spreading from room to room until several floors billowed with smoke. People, desperate to survive, jumped out of the windows to their deaths.

Oberhausen turned around in his chair, looking away from the massacre which he knew would not even be mentioned on the evening news with a look of decision upon his face. He moved purposefully, picking up the letter, and cracking the seal. "The Die is Cast." he whispered poignantly.

As the Allaneans looked on at the spot where their contact was supposed to meet them, all they saw were three Imperial Guardsmen who were, for some reason, decked out in their finest parade dress uniforms. At their sides were Charleville Muskets, the original issue to the first Imperial Guard under Napoleon I.

They stood infront of a large gray building. Most citizens wouldn't question and would just assume the Imperial Family was utilizing the facility in some respect and pass on no matter how oddly the guards were dressed. The Imperial Guard was so respected that questions were never asked.

The guards took notice of the men approaching, but stood at their posts gazing at them.

As the AVF volunteers finished their prayer, the youngest soldier pointed the priest to the Imperial Guardsmen:

"Look! Those people are Guardsmen. They were loyal to Paisley - they are probably opposed to this Leipzig character. Let's talk to them, maybe they'll help."

As the chaplain and his guards approached the guardsmen, the chaplain has bared a small medallion depicting the first Emperor Napoleon, and showed it to them: "Good day. I am from Allanea - a friend sent this jewel with me to you. Is that what you needed?"

This was a codeword. If this was indeed the contact he was looking for, he would know it. If not, no harm done.

"Yes." the Guardsman said, upon examining the medal. "That is exactly what we are looking for." The man in the centre who was obviously the ranking officer snapped his fingers, and the other guards moved inside the door, ensuring its security yet again, and the ranking officer escorted the Allaneans inside. It looked like an abandoned office building until they walked into an office, the glass on the door broken, and moved the desk to the left. The entire left wall swung upon and the men walked through into what looked like a palatial hall.

Inside sat six men; Ian Paisley Jr., Ian Paisely Sr.'s only living son, Arch Duke von Oberhausen, Former President Conners of RWC, and a representative from the Dersconi government who was not immediatley recognizable, and the Head of the Imperial Guard, Duc Guillaume Richarde Lefebvre de Centreville.

"Sit down." Count von Oberhausen motioned to the Allaneans. "We need to talk with you about coordinating operations between the UVF, the Imperial Guard, and the AVF." he leaned back in his chair a tad. "I have recently been tapped to be the head of the UVF, so I will speak on their behalf. Guillaume will speak for the Guard, and the Dersconi representative will speak for the Czar...who will be speaking for Ian Paisley. God Bless his soul...the Old Man hasn't a clue it's us. The Czar may be abusing his authority to speak for Paisley in absentia, but its a risk we will have to take.

Just then a door on the side of the room opened and in walked King Napoleon of Allanea. "Gentlemen." he said to the men. "Glad you could make it."

The Dersconi Represenative, his figure still obscure, stood up to shake Napoleon's hand.

"Wonderful to be here," he said. When the rep sat down, a gold dragon's head could be seen for a flash of a second in the light. Two rubies glowed as the dragons eyes pierced the darkness with an eerie glow.

"Exactly what is this meeting about, anyways? Obviously, it is important considering who is here," he said, motioning specifically to Oberhausen, but waving his arm to cover everyone. What looked like a red ceremonial dress cuff for a noble or a king could be seen until it went back into the shadows.

The gold dragon still could be seen, eerily peering onto the meeting.

The Guards stand to attention. If there is any figure in Allanea save President Kazansky – or the late President? They didn’t know – that could have inspired true admiration in Allaneans, it was King Napoleon. The priest walked up to him.

“Good day, your Majesty. You must remember me – I was a chaplain in the Battle of Perfection.” He opens his long bag, unearthing a long scoped Mosin Nagant rifle. It seems somehow cheap and old – but the twenty-three marks on the side of the stock tell another tale. “You even awarded me.” – In Allanea, it was customary that the priests – of whatever congregation or faith, from Muslims to neo-pagans – that served as military chaplains, fought beside the troops, and this chaplain was no exception – except perhaps in terms of valour. “I was a good shot. So I’d think I’d be of use for you here. Is there some big shot I can take in your service?”

He points at the boy: “This here is Michael. A good lad all around, a good Christian, and a good shot. He is my spotter. And the man to the left is Johny Omaha, and he knows the short rifle better than anybody I know.” Omaha, a weathered, rough-looking man, smiled grimly under his sunglasses as he hauled out his weapon – an AAR-36K assault rifle with a drum magazine attached.

“There’s not many of us here, your Majesty,” said the priest, “but some more are coming. And those we sent are good – perhaps among the best Allanea has to offer. And we’re here to serve you, as we have pledged.”

"And that's the news." the Anchorman signed off, tapping his stack of papers ritually as the camera panned out.

"Great job, Dan." a man in a black uniform said as he walked over to the news desk.

"Thanks." the Anchor replied. "Who are you."

"Captian Marcus Felix, Pax Maria 3rd Brigade. You are under arrest for treason."

Thirty militiamen then let themselves be seen as they took the entire staff of the station into custody. The staff was screaming as they were forced into paddywagons at gunpoint and shipped off to destinations unknown.

This same scenario was being repeated all over the Kingdom.

"I do indeed remember you." the King shook his hand and patted him on the back as if he was an old friend. "I do not forget valour such as yours."

"What we need," Oberhausen stood and looked at the Allaneans as well as Napoleon. "Is for the AVF to coordinate with us on attacks against the Pax Maria Militia. We need you three specifically to begin a campaign of assassination against the commanders of the militia as well as the Emperor's closest friends and advisors."

"Indeed." Napoleon echoed. "And we need demonstrations in the streets of Allanea. And even more importantly, we need action to be taken when..." he paused in disgust "That person..." he didn't even give him the dignity of calling him a man..."Comes to meet with me in Allanea. I don't want him to leave Allanea alive."

"We also need to establish a working relationship with the AVF. We need contacts between the Imperial Guard, the AVF, the UVF, and the Dersconi Armed Forces. That way, when I issue orders, wherever they need to be carried out and by whomever they would be best carried out...it can be done." Von Oberhausen stated. He then turned to the others gathered. "Is there anything else you gentlemen would like to add?"

"It is said," replied the pastor, "that the best to do in war is to study the works of your enemies. We will need to learn the tactics of the catholics of the IRA and of Guevara's communists." - he frowned - "and moreso, we must remember the Word of God. For He is the Lord of Hosts, and he has given victory to David, and Moses, and Joshua son of Nun, and to Devora. And he shall give us victory."

He smiled: "Our enemy has force - the torture chambers, the militiamen, the courts, the prisons. We must gather our wits and faith, for it is by those alone we can prevail. Remember, Goliath, the champion of the Philistines, 'had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.', yet, as the Book says, "David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.", for his main arm was his faith in the Lord of Hosts. And so we shall too prevail, for the Lord is with us."

"We will do your will, Your Majesty. We will kill the foes of God and Liberty on their way to work on the way hom, at their tables as they eat the food they've earned by spilling the blood of innocents, and in their beds as they sleep as though they have commited no crime. And we'll make sure they will find no rest in this world as they won't in the next. And as Saul smote the Philistines, so shall you smite your foes."

OOC: How would an outside nation go about joining this?
Jeruselem
08-12-2004, 14:38
In a small room was a gathering of Protestant ministers including Reverend Rainley of course. The meeting had to be secret and low key to avoid being snooped on by the local Inquisition who would prefer them exiled to a Protestant nation or dead.

Rainley addressed the ministers "I have sent half a million US dollars to the cause of the UVF in Reichskamphen and the rest to settle my Church debts. We need to combine to show the UVF, even a tiny Protestant community in Catholic Jeruselem supports them against the wishes of the Government. Anyone with me?". He knew they all knew his son was on gaol for counterfeiting currency and some of his foreign donations were bogus. Such was the plight of their churches.

Reverend Causley expressed his concern "Isn't that going to make us targets for the Inquisition to destroy our communities? The Catholics here want us out but then the Jews want us stoned to death and the Arabs don't care if we burn in hell".

Reverend Sagen supported Rainley "We maybe small and persecuted, but he must show unity with our fellow brothers in Reichskamphen and support the UVF. He need all Protestant nations to support us too!"

Reverend Shamrock was in disbelief "Everyone in Jersuelem except us think the UVF are a bunch of Lutheran crackpots who want to restart the reformation. If we support this motion, we'll be thrown in with them in public opinion. In the 1930's we tried that approach, and look what happened!"

Soon the Protestant ministers started to break up into the "Yay" and "Nay" groups. Rainley appealled to everyone "We must find a common way to show our support for the UVF without being labelled terrorists. Ideas please." They agreed to disgree until Rainley tried again "We must find a way. If we lose the Catholics win and the Holy Land will be devoid of the true peoples of God! Now, let us go home to find a solution."

They all left secretly. Reverend Sagen smiled as he phoned Inquisition HQ "The frying pan is alight and the fire is ready. These Protestants are ready to cook".

As the reverend Rainey left the meeting, a man approached him and pulled him aside. "I am with the Old Guard." he said to him. "You and your family need to get out of here now. We have a sufficient specOps infiltration of this country to get our work done. What you need to do is get out of here before your lives are taken from you." The man looked around cautiously. "Intelligence suggests that the inquisition may be on to you. We cannot be sure though. Reverend Richards in the meeting...he is with us...so we know what you are trying to do."

The Imperial Guardsman took Rainey away in the opposite direction of the meeting hall several paces to be safe. "I have a message for you from Ian Paisley." he handed him the letter, popping the seal as he did so it would be easily accessible for him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rev. Rainey,

My Guardsmen have informed me of the situation in Jerusalem. My Guardsmen have also informed me of the situations with militant resistance in the Kingdom. I must tell you in no uncertain terms that I oppose this action. You will recall from scripture that the Harlot of Babylon, the Roman Church, cannot be slain with the swords of man, but only with the Sword of the Lamb's mouth. Only with God's word can the Anti-Christ be struck down.

We do ourselves, and more importantly, our Lord, a great injustice when we take up armed resistance against Romanism in this barbaric manner. We are in danger of lowering ourselves to the level of the Papists who bomb houses and shoot innocent women and children...burn bibles...destroy entire races of people for their own gain.

As a protestant, our place is not to behave in that manner. It is our place, as was the place of the martyrs of old, to bear the burden thrust upon us bravely, and renounce the Pope and all his cults and creeds until the last lick of fire consumes us as we burn at Rome's stake.

I have been informed also of the financial problems of your Church. I implore you in the name of Jesus Christ, to clean your house. Get your finances in order and legally. I also implore you to contribute to the expaning of the ministry instead of the expansion of violence. Once I am assured of the veracity of your funds and the correct placement of them in good causes, I am prepared to give you as much money as you need to expand your operations...but only then.

Lay down the sword. You are a preacher. You are not called on to first be an accountant, then a social director, and then an army leader. No, sir. You are called to be a preacher, and a preacher's foremost task is to preach the precious gospel of our lord Jesus Christ. I urge you and your brethern to spead the gospel to your spiritually depraved nation. God be with you in this, your darkest hour, and remember my words...and follow them.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Dr. Ian R.K. Paisley
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The guardsman withdrew the letter so it would not fall into enemy hands if the reverend was caught. "Whatever he said, do it." the Guard instructed. "Ian Paisley didn't become the greatest Preacher and Emperor this region has ever had by accident. He knows what he is saying. Listen to him."

He then began to walk away, leaving the reverend behind. Then, he turned around and added as an after thought, "If you need help, the Imperial Gendarmerie office is about five miles up the road, and there is a small base of Imperial Guard about fifteen miles south."

You are certainly welcome to join. Just decide if you want take an active or passive role. You can send in spies and send money to the Emperor, or send troops to fight with the Pax Maria militia. I wouldn't reccommend a direct national fulll scale military intervention because the military, not as loyal to the Emperor, could percieve that as an attack and return the favour.

"I can coordinate just about anything. In fact," he said, standing up, but still in the shadows. "I can get you anything. I wish for only one thing in return," he said, exposing the Dragon Sword. On the hilt was the golden Dragon with the ruby eyes, along with With this sword, the World Bows down to thee enscribed in ancient Dersconi on the handguard of the mystic sword.

"I eliminate Allistaire." He was now in a position to be seen. A few surprised faces were around the table. Oberhausen regained composture first, though.

"Yes," Oberhausen replied. "If the occasion presents itself, we will allow you to finish him...but when he goes to Allanea...we will have snipers who will try to take him out." he could tell the Czar was displeased.

"I mean this as no disrespect...but we must destroy him. And you may have your chance yet. Just ask Napoleon here about how good snipers are with getting this guy." he lauged sarcastically.

The Czar looked at Oberhausen with discust. Although you could not see Ivan's face because of the lack of light, the reflection of light from the blade on the table and Ivan's red glowing eyes, seeming to come from nowhere, were not exactly setting the most comforting atmosphere. He took the blade and pointed it at Oberhausen.

"I don't think you understand. My entire father's side of the family was killed by Papists. This ass thinks he can march right on to the throne and send Greater Prussia to hell. Also, as Archchancellor, I feel it is my duty to defend the Empire from any domestic threat -- including the renegade Emperor." THe Czar paused in thought for a moment and put the blade back down of the table.

"I do have an idea, though. Have your snipers deleberately miss. He would either flee to his or my palace. Either way, once he is there, we have him cornered. He may flee to one of the papist nations, though. I know the Emperor of Cav fairly well, so he wouldn't flee there.

The British Airways 747 landed in Reichskamphen in the early evening light, the sun reflecting off teh silver wings. There were three men on board that seemingly stood out from everyone else. Not in a physically obvious way, but by there demeanor. They walked with a strut, thier arms seeming to swing slightly more, acting much, cockier, would be the proper term.

The three, Sean McManus, Rory McClaigh, and David Devenray as listed by the passenger manifest, walked with an air of action. They each carried a black duffle bag with a few change of clothes, cell phone, and Bibles. Rory wore a Cross around his neck, and Sean a roseary. David was dressed in the way of his profession; in the clothes of a Roman Catholic Priest. David, a man of the book and cloth, was the youngest of the group at 24. Rory was the second youngest at 27, and Sean landed at 30. His birthday was two days earlier.

They had all recently 'graduated' from a so called 'college of action.' Each had scoured the internet, no pun intended, religiously to get combat information. Bomb making, hostage taking, interogational techniques, and the like. And they were here to help their borthers in arms. In Ireland, the shit had hit the clichéd fan, and the Provos had gone on a true military offensive, making contacts with other nations and trying to get arms to finish the job. It had started just under a month ago, and their allies in the Provs had just all but declared war on the loval UVF/UDA and the other Protestant groups in the north.

And, in the eyes of Ryan McConor, one of the leaders of the new battle, saw that the UVF, be it in Ireland or Reichskamphen or anywhere else, were still UVF, and still deserved to be on the receiveing end of God's vegance.

Becuase of that, Rory, Sean, and David briskly walked through the airport. At one point, the stopped at an airport church, prayed, then left outside. The walked towards the cab line, wondering how well this 'Baptism by Fire' training mission would go. Their first step was to find a contact that would be able to arm them, but they would think about that once they got into the main city. They flagged down a cab, and asked the driver to bring them to a decently priced hotel that had vacency.

The 3 men would notice a sleek black car following them. As they entered the hotel, one man followed them. He stopped them and said,
"I am of the Cherry Ridge IRA. Cherry Ridge is a CATHOLIC country. They are on the emperor's side. The good side. The UVF and the protestants must be defeated. my name is not important. However, you will ruin this quest. The UVF will see this as outside intervention. Just like during the Revolutionary War in America, when the british brought in the hessians. I am a priest also. Father, I advise you to take off your collar. Mine is in my pocket. You will get shot. Take my advise, or I will see to it, under orders from cardinal DeVito, archbishop and ruler of Cherry Ridge, that you leave.
Either leave, or I will have you dispatched."

The 3 men would also notice that there was a gun- shaped lump in his pocket, as he walked put the door and disappeared.

David shook his head at the mans admission. He didn't care if he got shot, for if you were less than willing to die for your faith, then why even voulenteer. As the man walked away the group turned. It would take more than a thinly veild threat to turn them, they had dealt with worse. To them, the man was a pretneder. He had no idea of what the true conflict was like, fighting the true UVF. But none the less, he wasn't part of the mission.

They walked away from the man, and towards the front desk. They set their bags down, and looked at the clerk. Sean spoke. "We'd like a room please, two beds, plus a couch or cot, if possible. Also, we'd like to exchange this for local currency," he finished, pulling a wad of British Pounds of his jacket.

They were amatures to him. Hot-headed know-knothings. He had to kill them. They would mess up the mission. His family was slaughtered because of new IRA members fumbling. He didn't wan't anyone to be killed from lack of competance. He has been tortured because of it.

He walked back in. Behind him this time were his counterparts.

"Blame it on the UVF" he whispered to the yougest of his group. He scribbled a note.

They all walked in. they pulled out their handguns and shot them each in the chest. "I WARNED YOU"

He then walked up and shot each in the head.

He grabbed the note from the younger one's hand and put it on the counter.
It read:

"Don't mess with the UVF"

He pulled out a UVF flag, and put it next to it. He knew the UVF would be blamed.

They jumped into their car and sped off into the city.

IC:

The word of the murder of the three men shocked Ryan, but he knew they died for the greater cuase of freedom. He mourned with their families, and swore vegance. In response, he sent five more too the sceene of the crime. However, things went a bit differently this time. The men, using fake ids and bribery got footage from a hotel security cammera, and ran the view of the men past local authorities. Further, they matched the empty shell cassings to guns, and traced the purchase to the men that had assasinated the three Irishmen.

They tracked them to their place of dwelling, and waited till night fall. That night, they broke into the house, and kidnapped all the men involved. However, torture was not the order of the day, that was for amatures. They brought the men out into the forest, and shot them all in the head. They picked up the shell cassings, and pocketed them, as well as the weapons. They left from a small, private airport, back to Ireland, leaving the bodies to rot in the woods.

After being here for more than a year and a half as another, relatively well respected nation, I can say that yes, what you did was godmod. You shot my men in the chest (they had their backs to you, good job), you assumed they were PIRA (no one in any government other than mine knew they were comming, so have fun with that), and you attacked, and declared deaths, without giving me a chance to respond. RAMC Security Center, Basement Level Eight of Kremlin Cathedral

The Czar looked at the holographic displays of the military city and the flat maps of the Pax Maria attempting to fortify their positions. The Czar shook his head. Czar

Knight
Archbishop

Lance Corporal

"Okay," the Czar said. "Using any means possible, kill them all. Okay?"

"Okay," the Czar said. "Lockdown the city. No one gets in or out without my direct order, clear?"

"Yes, your Majesty." With that, every single Gate Guardian recieved word to shoot on sight. Although this mostly applied to the Woods Guards. The gates to actually get inside the city were being sealed off by blast doors that were tested in a remote location. The only thing getting through them was a nuclear bomb.

"Good," the Czar said. "Now, lock down Andropov Square."

"Yessir." Andropov Square was a walled-in area in the center of the city. In it contained Andropov Tower, Kremlin Palace, and Kremlin Cathedral. The blast doors on the gates of Andropov Square were closed in all places.

Kremlin Palace fullfilled its name.

He held a bible in his hand and announced "People of Jeruselem and especially my followers. I have a big announcement to make. This is really big, and unprecedented. After God spoke to me in a dream via a lamb, I have to announce I am renouncing violence as a means of fighting Catholism. Yes, no more talk about a Protestant state or nation in Jeruselem. Now I am a preacher, pure and simple. I will speak the word of God to all who will listen including Catholics! This may shock many here but Jesus used his word to convert the many who will listen to his ways. I will do the same. From now on, this church will preach peace and word of God! Peace for all and Protestant and Catholics especially. In a week, I am meeting her highness in person to verify my word."

Everyone looked shocked but some of audience stood up and shouted "God bless Reverend Rainley and may peace prevail!". Soon the audience was singing in praise of peace and God's promise of peace.

...

At Inquisition HQ who monitored his broadcasts intently, Reverend Sagen (aka Inquisitor George) and Lucius III were also shocked. Lucius said "Looks like we'll have to find another way to get rid of him. Killing him will do no good now. Need to discredit him instead". Sagen said "Looks like I'll have to follow suit with my flock to keep them happy now, eh?". Lucius laughed "Your flock of black sheep!".

On the streets, Protestants marched singing hymns of peace and the promise of New Jerusalem. The army didn't bother to turn up but police still tailed them.

Within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, Astevane, Capital of the Grand Kingdom of Aerion

An attache of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sat at his desk within the Ministry, reading over incoming news feeds for anything of interest to Foreign Affairs to be fed into the database. As he came across the news coming from Reichskamphen, his eyebrows raised. He immediately fed data into the database, and uplinked to several other news feeds in order to gain information. Afterwards, he sent a priority alert memo to the Deputy Minister himself.

Athena, Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations sat within her opulent office at on the third floor of the Ministry building. Her data terminal sparked open with a priority alert memo, as she was sipping her morning coffee. She yawned, mumbling, "What now." She had had a rough night, or let us say...a wild night. So she did not feel like being bothered, but she read the incoming data any way. She picked up the phone to her secretary, "Get me Ambassador Lanoth Daier." She cleared her throat as the secretary patched her through, "Ambassador, the Minister has authorized you for At Large work dealing with international hot spots, correct?"" The Ambassador cleared his throat, "Yes, Minister." Athena cleared her throat, "Then get to Reichskamphen and find out what is going on. I will get in contact with the Regent as soon as I can get an priority audience. If a large nation like Reichskamphen is destabilized, it could mean international destabilization which may affect us in some way. Take your staff, I have authorized you to utilize Diplomatic Jet #12. It can hold 23, so pick your staff wisely."

A few hours later, ready and packed, the Ambassador was boarding the 79 foot long business jet which would take him to Reichskamphen. He had a full staff of twenty three, as many as he could hold. Three servants, a butler, and a stylist who did his hair and clothing were among the luxury staff accompaniements that were probably unneeded but was customary of Aerionians.

The Diplomatic Jet entering Reichskamphen airspace
A few moments later, the jet was in the air, and a few hours later the jet was entering Reichskamphen air space,

The co-pilot came over the communication channels to broadcast to air traffic control,

"This is Diplomatic Jet #12 of the Aerion Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We have onboard diplomatic personnel. Requesting permission to proceed to the capital airport, over."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the staff exited the plane they were met by three armoured stretch limousines that bore the flags of the Imperial Family at the front. 30 Pax Maria Militiamen stood guard around the perimeter of the strip and 15 more around the limos themselves. A man dressed in a Pax Maria uniform stepped towards the delegation. "I am Colonel Devon Marin, commander of the Pax Maria, Reichsburg Division. I am here to personally ensure your safety as we travel through the city to the Imperial residence."

Several armoured cars escorted the limosines as they exited the airport and travelled through pristine, old Reichsburg. It looked like a picture right out of the Baroque era with the elaborate architecture and old world contruction and streets.

Then they passed a building that appeared charred and rubbled. "UVF." the captain nodded towards the destroyed building. It wasn't the truth, but he liked to think it. The UVF was suspected of using the building so his militiamen had fired tank shells into it and then used flamethrowers on the remains. Anyone who had watched the news would have known the truth.

Within minutes they drove down the Via Victoria, past the ruins of the 800 year old Royal Palace destroyed 50 years ago in the 1st Scottan War, and then into the newly constructed Imperial Palace. It was a veritable fortress now. Tanks and other armoured vehicles stood guard every several meters and nearly three thousand Pax Maria Militia manned the paraphets and the trenches outside of the palace. There was even a 50 yard long minefield surrounding the palace on all sides. The militia quickly allowed the cars inside and they parked infront of the grand entrance, in which stood Emperor Andre-Allistaire Leipzig. "Wonderful to see you." he shouted out to the delegation. It seemed as if he had aged 10 years in merely a few months of holding the throne.

He wore a black three piece suit, with black shoes, and an simple blue tie. He wore a lapel pin of the symbol for an Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador.

He cleared his throat, walking confidently toward the entrance accompanied by two male aides who appeared stoic. One, a younger man carried a silver titanium attache case.

As he approached the Emperor, he executed a formal bow. "Your Imperial Majesty, it is an honor to meet you, His Excellency the Royal Regent sends his regards."

The Ambassador's staff had remained in the limos, or at the urgings to get out lined up in an disciplined line awaiting further instructions.

The priest sighed. He hated killing – but such was life he had to do a lot of it. He killed twenty five communists at Perfection. He would kill again – if needed. Somewhere on the other side of the street below, a Pax Maria officer was about to leave a restaurant where he was dining with his wife. To kill a man in front of his wife… he didn’t want to do that. But it had to be done.

Next to him sat the young boy, his spotter. His job would be to shoot at the man’s other accomplice – another officer dining with them. Today it would be his first kill.

The restaurant’s glass door opened suddenly, letting out two people in Pax Maria uniforms – one wearing medals – and a woman of about forty. If her husband dies now, thought the priest, she’ll never marry again. He almost felt sorry for her. Almost. For as he thought of the man’s medals, he thought of all the good Christians he killed and tortured to get them – and of those he would kill again.

His Mosin Nagant 1891/1933 rifle roared, letting fly a single red-hot chunk of lead. The man with the medals jolted back, blood covering the medals, and fell on the ground. Just as his wife stared in shock on her dying husband, the boy to the priest’s left fired, too. The shot caught the other officer on the head. The bullet blasted a three-inch wide exit hole on it’s way out of the Catholic’s skull, taking the homogenized mass that was once the man’s living brain with it as it left.

The snipers left quickly, trying not to listen to the wailing voice of the widow behind them.

* * * *

George, an officer in the Pax Mariaa militia, shrugged as he heard someone ring on the door. “Who is it?” – he asked. “Pizza delivery.”
He smiled. He has ordered prizza for himself and his future wife. He did not expect it to come that quickly.

When he opened the door, George saw a man – one who was known in some circles as Johny Omaha. He was holding an outdated Thompson M1921.

“What the…” swore George.

The gun roared, peppering his body with several dozen jacketed hollowpoint rounds, each .45 in diameter. As he fell backward, the last thing he saw was the sadistic grin on Omaha’s face.

Omaha, after all, was not a believer. He just loveed killing, and he loved his king. Killing at Napoleon’s bidding would be a perfect pastime.

The small group of men gathered at the end river that led to Reichsberg, they waited until nightfall and more men came. There was no talk, just absolute silence, they were about to become foreign invaders of Reichskamphen, bent on the sole purpose of taking Leipzig out of power.

The water near them began to ripple and wave onto the beach and a mini-submarine surfaced. One by one they boarded, and continued to stay silent, the sub submerging and making it's way upstream.

OOC: Priest is Catholic or Anglican. It could be Anglican because the low Church Anglicans are still against Leipzig, though alot less passionately than the Evangelicals. Pastor probably would be a better term if he is neither of those.

Also, CR, we will assume that the meeting with the Cardinal had concluded in the time spread, but we will continue it...fluid time remember. We can still continue with the discussion but it would be before this happens in the timeline. But, the Cardinal would still be in Reichskamphen I'm sure, so I bet he'd be welcome by the Emperor to attend this meeting.

IC: The Emperor was a young man, only 25 in reality, but the stress of the crown was draining him. He was certainly competant as he had held countless posts in the Imperial Government of Ian Paisley before becoming Emperor of Greater Prussia himself. There were streaks of early gray beginning to appear in his thick brown coif and frown lines stamped upon his forehead even when he smiled. "Come this way gentlemen. I'm sure you must be hungry or thirsty from your travels. We have a great feast prepared for you." he called out to the guests.

The palace was patterned after Versailles. Its construction was begun under the first Emperor of Greater Prussia nearly 40 years ago. Then, Ian Paisley put an end to the multi-billion dollar construction as he saw it wasteful. The Palace was only 1/4th realized from the first Emperor's plans, but it looked somehow complete. The Empire was rather young, but still strong. It traced its roots all the way back to the Empire of Napoleon Bonaparte and drew its historical power from that Crown.

On the walls of the inside were painted several frescos depicting the victories of the Empire and Reichskamphen and its historical leaders. At the centre of the view stood a 200 foot high fresco of Napoleon the First in his corronation robes with the words "2eme de Decembre 1804: le Sacre".

When one's eyes drifted from the elaborate decor, they would see a grande 1st Empire style table decked out in a feast fit for a King...or an Emperor as it were. "Feel free to take what you will." he smiled.

He then took the head of the delegation aside as the others were eating and spoke to him in a quiet tone, "I need to speak to you a moment before you eat, good sir." his mouth had gone dry, he attempted to moisten it a bit before he spoke. "We are in great peril. The only way I can control my own country is with an iron fist...with my Militia. The Protestant fudamentalists have been held off by the old Emperor's words...but, that will only last so long. I don't have enough men to put down a rebellion...and if we don't put it down...the Empire is again lost to the perils of fundamentalism."

Just then, the Pax Maria Colonel who had escorted the guests tapped the Emperor on the shoulder. "Many appologies your Majesty...but I need to speak with you most urgently."

The Emperor stepped aside.

"Your Majesty, the Czar of Derscon has ordered his elite units in RAMC to attack our Militia units there. It is only a matter of time until the people hear of it in Reichskamphen...and then we are as good as cooked without atleast a week or two to put ourselves in a better position to quell this thing."

The colour drained visibly from the Emperor's face. "Shut down every form of transportation in the Kingdom. National Emergency. Seal the borders...and shut down every single media outlet. It will have to travel a couple thousand miles from Derscon by word of mouth. That will buy you some time. It will also give me time to finish with my guests and to see them safely out."

He returned to the head of the delegation, now seeming much more distracted. "Go eat. This can wait until later."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All over the three Kingdoms, Pax Maria units raided the media outlets, going so far sometimes, as to destroy the antennas or the stations themselves.

All trains and airports shut down and Imperial Guardsmen on the borders, dumbfounded by the order, complied regardless and sealed off the country from the outside world. How long would they comply?

President Folkner stepped up to the podium and cleared his throat. "I have come to announce that the United States of RightWing Conspirators will no longer stand by idly while an incompetent emperor allows his citizens to be massacred and watch him take away their freedoms. The transmission capabilities of Reichskamphen have been destroyed, under the orders of Emperor Leipzig. The Senate, Myself, and Vice President Conners are publicly announcing our discourse with Reichskamphen's crown, and we will be using RWC's Transmission capabilities to air UVF and Protestant transmissions into Reichskamphen. Leipzig, your time is coming to an end and we will see it come soon." Folkner turned away from the podium and Conners walked up.

"First let me say, it's good to be back. Leipzig, your predecessor Ian Paisley was a strong leader and a moral man...you are worthless as a leader. I've already drawn up plans and you may very well expect a visit from our CIA."

Conners walked away from the Podium without answering any questions.

After the speeches were over, the transmitting stations nearest Reichskamphen were calibrated and turned towards the borders, the phone rang "Begin transmission" came Folkners voice and the technician set up the terminal links and began the transmission.

"Billy!" a shout came from in the streets. The town barber ran into Billy McFadzean's house. "Billy, the Czar of Derscon and the President of RWC are openly defying the Emperor...and Derscon has attacked the Pax Maria!" the fat man shouted.

Billy immediately jumped from his chair where he had previously been eating dinner, grabbed his rifle, and moved quickly towards his truck. "What are you doing?" the barber called out to him.

"Going to town! There are only a few hundred Pax Maria in Kamphstadt, I'm going to fight!" he called back.

"Wait!" the barber called as Billy continued to distance himself from his house. Billy turned back to see what the barber wanted. "I'm coming too. Let's get the rest of em!"

Within minutes, 20 men of the UVF had gathered in the town square where the Leipzig family flag was lowered, and the Red Hand of Ulster was raised into the air. After the pause for ceremony, the men loaded into their trucks and steamed off towards Kamphstadt where the mood was becoming turbulent as well.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Imperial Palace: Reichsburg, Reichskamphen*

Arch Duke Dietrich von Oberhausen, the Arch Chancellor of the Kingdom walked into the room where the delegates stood. "It is no longer safe in Reichsburg." he declared to the Emperor and his guests. "You need to get out of here now. We have Imperial Guardsmen ready to escort you to the airport where we have your jet, feuled and waiting."

"The Pax Maria can take care of that." Leipzig said dismissively. Oberhausen walked purposefully over to Leipzig and said. "The Pax Maria can barely take care of you. The Imperial Guard will keep them safe." as Viktor stood there, stunned, Oberhausen shuffled the guests into the car. "I appologize for this, but this is for your safety." He then handed them each a check for 45,000 Reichsmarks. "For your trouble."

Soon the convoy was speeding to the airport. There were mobs gathering in the streets, it was small now, but sure to grow. The mobs cheered as they saw the flag of the Imperial guard flying infront of the convoy and parted ways for it to go through. The driver of the limo turned to the guests in the back and said. "Don't worry, you are safe and going home. But we Imperial Guardsmen are not with the Emperor. Oberhausen isn't either. He knew if you went with the Pax Maria, you would all be dead by now...these people would have torn you apart. You are safe with us."

Within minutes they had reached the airport, gotten the delegates on the plane, and rushed them into the air where they were safely back on their way home.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elsewhere in Reichsburg...

"Get off your ass and help us!" a Pax Maria Captain cried out to a formation of Imperial Guardsmen who were standing motionless as the Pax Maria tried to stop the growing mob from getting on the Via Victoria that led to the palace. The Captain of the Guard spat in their direction and ripped the Black and Red Leipzig family cockade off of his Shako (hat) and his men followed suit.

"What the....!"

"Fire!" ordered the Guard Captain. Chunks of searing hot lead slammed into the militamen, killing several and wounding others. "Bayonets! Charge!" The Imperial Guard joined in the fray as nearly 50 men in black, the UVF, powered their way through the crowds to reach the militiamen. "Make way for the UVF!" a shout went out throughout the crowd. The UVF men began blasting chunks in the line of Pax Maria men.

The call for retreat sounded and nearly 100 Pax Maria soldiers began to fall back, and the run like wild for the safety of the Palace.

They never made it. They were run over by the now freed mob, and slaugtered to a man. The mob, guided by torch light ran down the Via Victoria, and up a very steep hill. As they reached the top, they could see the top of the Palace, and then they saw it. Five tanks and nearly 500 soldiers. The tanks opened fire along with God knows how many heavy machineguns. Huge swaths of blood and gore were cut through the mob and the Pax Maria moved forward...killing the wounded as they went.

"chunk chunk chunk" the eerie sound of douzains of mortars being loaded echoed throughout the night, then the screech as they flew through the air landing indiscrimately in the ranks of men women and children, sending limbs flying into the air. Slaughtering douzains. The artillery, based on the palace walls then let itself be heard as enormous 105mm to 250mm shells were hurled into the mob, blowing hideous holes into the masses. Monuments were shattered and an entire block reduced to rubble as the artillery barage continued.

"Get the hell out of here!" an Imperial Guardsman shouted as he clutched the nub where his arm used to be. The remnants of the mob...not many at all, limped away under heavy fire, still being picked off one at a time by snipers even as the artillery stopped.

The RWC Underground Militia, which was made up of the top CIA Operatives, left the sub 15 miles off the coast of Reichsberg right outside the city in diving suits they began their invasion quietly, sending of radar jamming from compact boxes on their diving belts. They soon reached an obscure area of the shore, on the outskirts of Reichsberg, and the final diver to surface pulled a waterproofed box of arms, ammunition, explosives, and concealment devices out of the water.
The group quickly stripped down from their wetsuits and sank them to the bottom of the river, along with the empty box. They quickly made for the forest and made their way towards the Pax Maria Headquarters just north of where they were, towards the center of Reichsberg. They all made sure the Red Hands on their uniforms could be well seen, because they were in the heart of UVF territory.

Their objectives were clear, kill all Pax Maria and opposition and claim the Headquarters in the name of the UVF.

Reverend Rainley was waiting at his church when a black limosine stopped outside. A man in black stepped out "I'm Inquisitor Lucius III and I'm sure you're heard of me. The Inquisition is picking you up to meet the Queen so you don't miss the appointment. You don't have the option of refusing as it's a royal command."

Rainley was nervious but tried to look like he was in charge "That's very nice of the Inquisition. You guys turning into the Queen's taxi service for dissident citizens? I have to accept since you give me no choice." and stepped into the car. Lucius got and closed the door, then the limosine bearing the Royal insignia speed off.

The car made it's way to the gates of the Royal palace. Rainley didn't like Lucius who would have happily killed him in the car if he wanted to but the Queen did want her guest alive. He smiled at Lucius "You can't kill me now? For I am a man of peace now." Lucius smiled back evilly "I need not kill your body. I cannot destroy you faith but I can destroy other's faith in you. Then you will destroy yourself.". Rainley decided to stop provoking him afterwards.

The car passed through security from the outer gates and then was checked in through the inner gates. Rainley was searched for weapons and even given a bio-scan. Lucius guided Rainley not the usual diplomatic area but into the royal garden. The Latin Patriach of Jerusalem was waiting for him.

"Welcome Reverend Rainley. Never been here before have you? I see your friends the UVF are being a pain to the Greater Prussian Emperor. The Queen will be a little late but I'll have to entertain you for a while. So do you support the UVF and cohorts?" the Patriach greeted him.

Rainley have to look diplomatic now with his new stance "From now on, I will not be interfering in the matters of other nations and concentrating on local ones. I believe the UVF cause is just cause and the Greater Prussian Emperor needs to stop looking like a Romanist. The war between the Pax Maria and UVF is regrettable but unstoppable now. I don't want another reformation war in Reichskamphen. I want God's people to be at peace."

A female voice behind them said "Sorry, I'm late everyone.". The Queen has behind them dressed like a night out on the town and even by the Reverend's standards very tempting. The Patriach asked "Your majesty, you look sharp today. Any occasion?". She laughed "Playing host to playboy Arab princes. They really do like European women but I didn't dress up for the Reverend specifically. Thank God my husband is now distracting their attention.".

They moved into a golden pavillion in the middle of the garden. "Now Reverend, tell me about your new doctrine. Is it a smokescreen or a geniune reform? Like the communist uprising, I will not hesitate to use force to put threats to peace like my father did. If rivers of Protestant bloods flow from the swords of justice, so be it. Your predecessors aren't angels of mercy either." she asked seriously.

He answered "My war on Catholism is through the word of God and not the sword. I am not the UVF or Protestant England zealot. While I am devoted the Protestant view of the world, no longer shall armed force will be used to convert the masses. Protestants and Catholics need to live in peace before the final judgement and Armageddon prevail".

"So, you want peace and yet the Greater Prussian Emperor is being opposed using armed force with presumed support of Paisley. Is this not hypocritical considering Protestant complain about Catholic abuse of power so much? Is not the Protestant sword stained with the blood of innocents like the Catholic one too?" she asked. Her servant handed her rusty sword. "You see this sword? Like Christian history it is stained with blood of innocents and heretics alike. This was used during the Crusades. So does your Crusade turn these swords into plowshares?"

He knew it was going to be a long day. The Protestant alliance with German Nazis during the civil wars of 1930's would come back to bite again.

Leipzig looked around at the Palace. "We are holding now. We just repulsed the attack. Let us wait a while. We may yet pull this off. You must remember...I have the Army on my side."

Leipzig picked up the Red Direct Line to Imperial Guard Headquarters. "Get me the Duke." he said directly. After a few seconds, he was transferred to Duc Guilllaume de Centreville.

"Yes?" the Duke asked impatiently.

"Guillaume, I need the Imperial Guard to move in on Reichsburg and break the UVF siege." he said matter of factly.

"On whose authority shall this mission be conducted?"

"On my own Dammit!" Leipzig was getting testy.

"And what authority is that?"

"THE EMPEROR OF GREATER PRUSSIA!!!" Andre screamed into the phone, spitles flying everywhere.

"The Emperor of Greater Prussia is Ian Paisley. I do not recognize your authority." the Duke hung up.

Andre-Allistaire Leipzig was trapped. Trapped in a palace in the heart of enemy territory...trapped in his own Empire...trapped in his own fragile body.

"ANDRE!" a shout came from several feet behind them. It was von Oberhausen. And behind him were 50 Imperial Guardsmen. "Andre, surrender and this can all be over."

"YOU B*STARD!" Leipzig hissed, his eyes ablaze with fury. "YOU TRAITOR!"

He looked up to the Pax Maria machinegunners that had arrayed themselves on the stairwell above him. "F*CKING KILL THEM ALL!"

The Machineguns opened up and the Imperial Guardsmen returned fire, picking off a few of the Pax Maria, but in the end they were caught by surprise and slaughtered to a man. The Pax Maria troops moved in the direction of the bodies to ensure they were dead, but Leipzig called out to them, "No time for that! We have to get to the helipad on top of here. Leipzig, the Cardinal, and the troops moved out.

Pax Maria Stronghold, televised on all Dersconi and Reichskamphen Media

The thousands of Praesellei Dei encountered the Pax Maria before their fortifications were setup.

"Fire!" was the last word that could be made out during the entire battle.

The scorpion tanks immediately opened fire -- along with the Bradleys -- on the PA buildings. Apaches were slaughtering the PAs caught off guard by the suddenness of it.

This is the Knight of Thor. Artillery has opened up.
Knight of Venus, move the hell in.

On that call, PA was stormed by the masses of the Czar's personal guard.

We've got rocketeers to our nine!

Some Bradley's turned quick enough to fire on the Pax Marias with the rocket launchers, but the Scorpions were a different story.

En masse, the fifteen rockets fired took out five Scorpion tanks.

They dented the hammer! Kill them all!

On that, snipers picked off the rocketeers before they could fire again.

Sir! No purpose storming the place. Flatten it with artillery!
I mean LITERALLY flatten it!

Air support, then?

Damnit, Stratofortresses, sir!

I'll call them in. Retreat. No reason to get you killed.

Yessir!

IN ten minutes, the Praesillei Dei retreated to form a perimeter around the Pax Maria facilities.

ABORT! Antiaircraft fire! I've been hit! Repeat! AAA Fire! Mayday, mayday, ma---

THe B-52's left wing was torn off and it went into a spin there is no way in hell it could have gotten out of.

"Dear Lord, forgive me for what I'm about to do," the pilot prayed in the cockpit. He managed to be able to control where he was going to crash and erupt into a giant fireball, so he headed for the center of the Pax Maria facilities. At that high of an altitude, he went supersonic while going max acceleration heading for the ground. He released his payload, and then everything went black.

* * *

"Holy shit!" The Knight Commander yelled, picking himself up. The B-52 erupted in an explosion so big that the shockwave knocked himself and the other Knights back ten feet into a tree.

"Damage Report!"

"Sir! The data chips in the front lines are not responding!"

"What?!?"

"Sir! The explosion was so big it destroyed some of our own men, and it flipped a Scorpion!" The Knight Commander looked at him in shock.

"It flipped a Scorpion?"

"Yessir! The target zone was vaporized completely, though."

"Okay! Move in and kill every single living organism in the vacinity. NOW!"

"Yessir!"

Okay, boys. Exterminate!

On that command, Bradley's went in with the flamethrowers, and the foot soldiers travelled behind them. The surviving Pax Maria were lined up on a wall nearby and summerally shot in the head with a Desert Eagle.

Derscon/Reichskamphen Border: 0300

The First Corps -- totalling around five million soldiers (including medical, logistical, etc personell) -- of the Dersconi Imperial Wehrmacht was currently in the National Military Bunker Complex. First Corps literally disappeared from the surface, and headed underground.

Arriving at the border stations via supersonic bullet train, the soldiers and armor were loaded off the trains via cranes (this is deep underground) and automatic cargo ramps. The helocoptors were the hardest to get off, as they had no wheels. It was managed, though.

There were only two ways to the surface. One was via huge ramp, while the other was by elevator. All of First Brigade's choppers went on the elevators, and a few armored divisions were loaded on, but most had to take the ramps.

For faster travel, the security override was initiated, and every single blast door up to the one opening at the surface was opened. In ten minutes, all of First Brigade was on the surface, and made its way to the Derscon/Reichskamphen Border.

Twenty Minutes after that, Second Brigade, then third. Fourth and Fifth were staying underground for reinforcement purposes.

Wellington had no idea what kind of struggle he'd be up against, which is why he threw in Third Brigade to tag along instead of waiting for it to be reinforcements instead.

They quickly reached the entrance to the 4th floor when shots rang out and 2 of the CIA Ops fell dead, the rest returned fire and threw 3 stun grenades into the room. They stormed in and found one Pax Maria soldier on his knees asking for surrender, the squad leader chuckled and walked behind the PM Soldier, he unlocked his Desert Eagle .50 cal, and put a bullet in the back of his head. Three minutes later, they arrived at the tall, two and a half story golden doors marking the Throne Room. Two of the ceremonial guards stood rigid at attention as the Black Angels left Allistaire alone. Suddenly, the doors opened. He felt pushed into the room.

Inside the throne room was very creepy. There was only light at the doorway, and the deeper you went, the darker it got. He turned around to run only to find the doors shut. He tried to open them but was stopped by a voice and a blinding light.

"Going so soon?" the voice asked. Allistaire quickly turned around, sword drawn, to see the shadows clear, and the Czar sitting on the throne. A giant All seeing Eye was behind the throne. THe All seeing eye streched five stories high and the gold circle around it was literally a perfect circle. Enscryptions in ancient Dersconi were carved in the circle, along with rubies and emeralds. The eye itslef of the All Seeing Eye was made of a diamond that weighed over one hundred pounds. It was a perfect circle. It was the most unnerving thing he has seen in his entire life. The Czar stood up from the throne, and in his hand was the Elemental Dragon Sword of Andropov, beloning to Andropov the Great, founder of the nation.

"Well, well, now," the Czar said as he shook his head. Unknown to Liepzig, the throne room was bugged just for this occasion. This encounter was being broadcasted on every known media channel in the world. It was the only time anyone has ever looked into the throne room in over four hundred years. Ever since the Rekjyavich house took over and eliminated the Catholic Romanovs, coronations were held in Kremlin Cathedral and not in the Throne room.

"I am curious," the Czar addressed the Emperor, as he slowly walked down the stairs with the Dragon Sword. "Why did you bother to even try to convert Greater Prussia to Catholism? Are you that dense?"

As the Cardinal touched down in Cherry Ridge, the entire Ruling Council was there to greet him.
"Thank God that is over" he said. He looked out to see a squad of Cardinalatial Guardsmen behind a podium. He walked over to the podium and said this, on international television,
"I, Cardinal DeVito, archbishop and ruler of Cherry Ridge, being of sound mind and body, do hereby declare to no longer recognise the Empireship of Count Katrineberg. I will no longer call him an emperor. Until then, we will follow the leadership of the Arch-Chancellor, Czar Andropov of Derscon, who had a hand in saving my life. I am very grateful. However, as a clergymen, I must stress mercy. If he dies, I do humbly request to officiate at his funeral. I will allow him to be buried in Cherry Ridge, if no one else will take his body. And also, I, Cardinal DeVito of Cherry Ridge, do hereby resign the position of Chief Advisor to the Greater Prussian Crown. Thank You all, and God bless." he said as he wlaked off the podium, into a waiting vehicle, and back to his palace meeting room, with his advisors, the ruling council.

The USRWC Militiamen celebrated their clear victory as the announcements of Leipzig's capture, and the disbanding of the Pax Maria were made. A call came through on the video screen and President Folkner's face appeared "Congratulations Soldiers, your actions and skills have helped to allow an historic chapter in Greater Prussian history to be written. When you return, there will be a grand banquet and ceremony in your honor! You're each to recieve the Silver Star, the Presidential Medal of Duty, and the Medal of Honor. I commend you." Folkner smiled and nodded as the screen went black and the transmission ended.

Pax Maria soldiers began ditching their uniforms and attempting to blend in to the crowds. Unfortunately for the Pax Maria, several soldiers in black uniforms were seen hanging from lightpoles all around the country. Many were never able to blend in again, and as Catholicism was now being made illeagal again, they had decided to flee to Cherry Ridge.

The streets of Reichsburg were quiet. Peace settled in like a newfallen snow. The war was over, and the tyrant gone.

A week later ...

In the Jeruselem Catholic Cathedral, two young men were praying and asked to see a Bishop. They had German accents and were obviously not locals. Bishop John, cousin of the Patriach, approached them. He didn't like Germans and their like and much preferred the French or English.

The Bishop welcomed them "Welcome to our humble Cathedral good sirs. How may I help you?". One said "We are former Pax Maria from Reichskamphen and seek redemption for our sins. That is why we are here". The Bishop smiled "No need to ask for forgiveness. In fact, I might offer you a job. How about joining our Inquisition? We need some Germans to help control the German Protestants here".

The young men looked at each other expecting to be arrested and not offered a job. "The infamous Jeruselem Inquisition?" they asked. The Bishop said "Just follow me, we need more Catholics like you.". They didn't complain and followed him.

Lucius met the new recruits "Pax Maria hey? Excellent, You'll need to go through our tests before you can join but I'm sure you'll have no problems. You can't keep your current identities so we'll give you new ones. Now here's the first one ...". He handed them a sword each and showed them a cardboard cutout of Martin Luther being pious. There wasn't much left of it in a few seconds. "In the name of God, that was the fastest I've ever seen someone do that. You're in my good books now!" he smiled.

Bishop John smiled "I know you are real Catholics". One of them asked "How can you tell an acting Protestant from a Catholic?". The Bishop pointed to cutout "A Protestant would have asked for forgiveness before destroying the cutout. A Catholic does not and does not look guilty afterwards." The young men suddenly felt at home. Lucius pointed to Crusader flag "Think of yourselves as defenders of Holy Land, Crusaders.". It was their dream as they looked at the images of Christ "We are Crusaders! We fight for the Holy Land and God".

In Astevane, the Capital of Aerion

As soon as Ambassador Ladoth Laier returned to Aerion, he was to be immediately debriefed by the Royal Regent himself despite the harrowing circumstances of his experience. He was nervous as he rode in the black Town Car that had picked him up from the airport, and drove him into the Royal District where the Royal Palace was. No limousines were allowed through the Royal District except for those of the highest of status, such as government Ministers as the concentration of the wealthy and the elite within and around the Royal District could mean hundreds of limousines on the roadways.

Ambassador Ladoth Laier was escorted by the burgundy uniformed Royal Guard into the Throne Room, where the Royal Regent sat on the throne at the foot of the steps of the dais which held the empty Royal Throne.

The Royal Regent was wearing, as before, the regalia of his position as a 33rd degree member of an SSIG of the Aerion Scottish Rite, as a member of the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite in Aerion. The white bearded old man with his deep grey eyes stared upon the Ambassador. The Ambassador bowed low to the Royal Regent, “Your Excellency, we were driven to the airport by the Imperial Guard, who stated in terms they were no longer of loyalty to the Emperor. They protected us as we left the country. It seems from intelligence reports that the Emperor has fallen, and there has been an coup. The Protestants seem to have taken control once again.”

The Royal Regent only listened silently, and as he heard the words that the Protestants seemed to have taken control again he smiled a covert smile as he looked down, fingering the 33rd degree Scottish Rite ring on his finger. He looked up at the Ambassador, “Ahh, another blow to the Catholics.” He hmmed deeply, “These religious idiots, they all are, but sometimes it is of some benefit. You may leave, keep yourself appraised on the situation. We may have somewhere else to send you soon.”

The Ambassador nodded, bowing low once again, “Yes, Your Excellency.” He then departed the Throne Room quickly.

The Ambassador was not religious, as the majority of the government officials said they were not, but he did respect most religions. He was a Mason, but not high ranking in the Scottish Rite of Aerion being only of the 12th degree. He had to admit, despite knowing of the many intrigues of politics and meeting many figures, that the members of the Supreme Council creeped him out in some way he was not sure of. Perhaps it was only because they were men of extreme power....

"How are you?" the weary town barber asked, blood flowing from his hair line, and soot lining his cheeks. His clothes were torn and blackened from the smoke of battle. "How are you Billy?"

He approached Billy as he lay on the ground. Then he saw that Billy was covered in his own blood, a gash was cut diagonally accross his stomache to his shoulder and gushing blood. He clutched it, the colour drained from his face. "BILLY!" The barber ran and clutched his broken body. "Speak to me!"

Billy's lips quivered, "We killed them, didn't we?"

"Yes. We won. We won Billy!"

"Pax Maria...cut me...tell mom..."

"Yes, Billy...tell her what?"

"Tell her..." his eyes then seemed as if they were drifting off in some unknown direction. His entire though pattern shifted..."God Save Ian Paisley..." he muttered as his eyes glazed over and his heart fell still.

Billy McFadzean was buried in Reichsburg's Royal Military cemetary along with the greatest soldiers of the Empire. At his grave was placed a large monument. He had come to symbolize the resistance against Leipzig...and therefore the monument on his grave was not merely his own, but the monument of all who fell in service of the Empire in the battle against tyranny. It read...

"Let me tell you a story of honour and glory, of a young Belfast soldier, McFadzean by name. For King and for country, young Billy died bravely, and won the VC on the fields that day.

Gone like the snowflake that melts on the river,
Gone like the first rays of day's early dawn,
Like the foam on the fountain,
Like the mist on the Mountain, Billy McFadzean's dear life is gone."

Janus smiled "Protestants are corrupt too. They melt when they see Gold". They hugged. "So, what sort of job do you want?" John asked.

Colonel Alexander, Imperial Pax Maria Militia arrived at the Palace in Jerusalem with his staff in a convoy of armoured cars still flying the Pax Maria flag. He still maintainted control of nearly 5,000 men from the Pax Maria Oberhausen Division. They had not seen field combat, and therefore had not been broken up as the Reichsburg division had been. They were essentially an intact battle unit that had retreated into Jerusalem quite secretly after the fall of Leipzig. As the Pax Maria had a large presence in Jerusalem before the fall, it was nothing out of the ordinary to see these, perhaps, an observer might justify, a unit going to be disarmed or reintegrated into the army.

Effectively, Colonel Alexander was the highest ranking officer of the Pax Maria that had escaped and was not actively in hiding. He was able to actually work. Behind him were nearly thirty Main Battle tanks, 20 Stryker assault vehicles, and a large column of foot soldiers keeping the pace.

This unit, Alexander believed, would be the nucleus that the Pax Maria would reform around. With assistance from Cherry Ridge, Jerusalem, and other Catholic countries in the Empire, it was very likely that the Pax Maria could be rebuilt and move into Reichskamphen to retake the throne. That would take several years...and by the time the troops were ready...the new Emperor would be ready.

Michael Leipzig, after the death of his father, Andre-Allistaire Leipzig, would have been the legal heir to the throne had not his father's rule been declared illegitimate. He was 12 years old, but a very very bright boy. He lived in the palace with Andre, and was the product of Andre's first marriage...the mother died in childbirth. By an act of providence, he was not in the palace when it fell to the Imperial Guard and the UVF. He had been visiting his uncle (now captured) in Oberhausen when the Colonel Alexander had ordered him to be taken and to retreat with the division. The little boy sat next to the Colonel in the armoured staff car and watched the scenery as it passed. "Your time will come." Alexander whispered to him. "Your time will come."

Colonel Armand de Lesquen, Commander of the Scottan Division of Pax Maria

Bishop John and Major Janus met the Queen in the Royal gardens. The Bishop introduced Major Janus to the Queen "This is Major Janus from the Pax Maria. We used to be friends at high school before he moved to Reichskamphen with his mother. I've put in charge of re-organising the former Pax Maria refugees into a fighting unit while the Inquisition are selecting members for their use." Janus bowed to the Queen like a good Catholic would.

"There's definitely a few of Pax Maria. I heard Colonel Alexander had saved Michael Leipzig from getting captured." she asked Janus. Janus said "He's actually here with his forces and ready to integrate into yours and of course other Catholic nations. You couldn't miss them, really. I heard you have a son, too.".

She smiled "Well, he's really young. Much younger than Michael. Michael wouldn't mind a second mother? I am a Catholic too. I really love kids." and then showed him a small silver ring she was wearing. "You see this ring. My mother says it belonged to a mistress of King David and she's a descendant being a Jew. You're talking to first member of David clan to rule Israel since the destruction of the 2nd temple of Jerusalem by the Romans. It's ironic I am a member of religion whose leader resides in Rome" and looked at her Papal ring.

Janus kissed the ring "I'm pleased to fight for descendant of David. The Catholics will surely lead the fight to destroy the anti-Christ and what better daughter of David to show the way".

..

Reverend Rainley had heards reports of Pax Maria arriving in Jeruselem and some openly. A friend had told him a convoy of Pax Maria armed forces complete with vehicles turned up unopposed and without anyone to ask why they were there. He knew Catholic nations would be very happy to accept any Pax Maria refugees to boost armed forces numbers, but then Protestant nations would have accepted any UVF refugees without question either. Still he decided to bring up the matter with the authorities.

"Captain Weil, His Eminence has been expecting you. Only you are allowed in though"
He got into a Lincoln Towncar with two Cardinalatial Guardsmen, the best warriors from the nation, drawn from the armed forces and the Holy Guard (national military police), and the Riot Police. They were the highest authority in Cherry Ridge.
They drove down the winding path and passed massive, rolling, fields of grass, large acres of woods in the distance, lakes, ponds, and stream. Then, they could see it. A massive palace. On top, the flag of Cherry Ridge flying gracefully, the Catholic Church banner to the right (not the vatican, just the white and gold, plain, except long lenghtwise), and the flag of the Vatican to the right of it.
They went passed anoth massive gate. They stopped, and the Captian exited, escorted by another pair of guardsmen. They entered the palace, and then got on a Golf Cart. They drove to the Grand Staircase, (The Grand Hall is HUGE), and walked up them. They then walked up many more flights of steps, and then went up a final flight. They were in the tower. One room was up there. The Cardinal's private study. One of the guardsmen hit a button.

Arrest warrants have been issued to the former Cardinal of Reichsburg and the Arch Bishops of Kamphstadt and Kaiserstadt. The lower level priests will be pursued by the local authorities under the anti-Catholicism laws, but, these three men are wanted for charges of treason and conspiracy against the Crown.

By that same note, the Anglican Arch Bishops of Reichsburg, Kamphstadt, Oberhausen, Kaiserstadt, Herzburg, Centreville, and New Braunau have all had warrants issued for thier arrests on the charge of treason and conspiracy against the crown, two charges of conspiracy for some as they are being brought in due to their connection to the terrorism of a few years back.

We must make it clear to our Anglican friends and subjects, that these arrests are not religiously motivated, but motivated by concerne for the well beign of the Empire. These charges of treason are not empty ones by any account.

The Imperial family would also like to send a message to all former Catholic priests. GET OUT.

Do not become Anglicans, do not conduct Catholic rites underground. If you are found, you will be brought to justice under the full penatly of the law.

"We missed a building!" one of the younger Praesillei Dei shouted and pointed. "Let's blow it!" His commanding officer smiled as he turned the turret of the tank.

"Excellent idea!" Right before he was about to fire, a Knight walked up to them, and they become ridged.

"Heil der Kaiser! Gott speichern den Kaiser!" They said as they stood ridged. The Knight saluted back and they went at ease.

"Don't blow it. We are still looking for the commander. Ten marks that he's in there. You know what to do." The Seargent nodded and turned to some spare men.

"Raid that building. Regular guard? Kill them. Officer? Bring him alive, if possible."

"Yessir!" Ten minutes later, they came out. "Nothing sir." The Bishop nodded.

"OKay. Blow it." With that, seven SCORPION MBT's turned on it and flattened the building.

I found a runaway Humvee! En route to the Airport! Currently following it! Over!

The Knight heard it and got on the Open Channels.

This is the Knight Commander of the Praesillei Dei. Lock down all methods
of escape from the city. Close the airport. Anyone not in a Praesillei Dei uniform
is to be immediately disarmed and disabled. DO NOT KILL!
================================
RAMC Airport

The Praesillei Dei guards in the towers were scanning the roads when they saw the humvee. They nodded to each other.

"That's them." They alerted the guards on the ground and an electromagnetic pulse was readied. When the Humvee reached target distance, the EMP was fired, and the humvee swerved off the road in to a pit of spikes. The Praesillei Dei on the ground winced. "The Boss said to keep them alive." The other smirked.

"They will be. They'll just be holey." They both laughed and casually walked over to the Humvee.

There were three Pax Maria soldiers and a high ranking officer. The guards were shot by one PD soldier and the other looked at the commander. The PD soldier pulled out the PM's wallet at gunpoint.

"Colonel Steven Alexander, you are now in Dersconi custody." they pulled him out of the vehicle and sent him by helocoptor to Kremlin Palace.

* * *

At Kremlin Palace Dungeons, the colonel was chained to the wall naked, with shockers on his chest, legs, feet, and face. The SS officer pressed the button to shock him again when the Interrogations Knight of the Praesillei Dei walked in. The SS officer saluted.

"Good day, sir."

"And to you. I'll be taking over."

"Thank you, sir." When he left, he cranked up the voltage to fifty thousand volts and had an SS private attach two electrode suction cups to the colonel's balls. The Knight smiled.

"Now, my friend, where were you thinking of going?" When the colonel wouldn't answer, he pressed the button to electrify the colonel. All that words could say was that the colonel was now in extreme pain. The Knight was still smiling.

"Again, I ask. Where were you going?" The colonel spit on him.

"Damn you to hell." The Knight just shook his head.

"That wasn't nice," he said, turning it to one hundred thousand volts.

"Didn't your mother teach you manners?" he said as he turned the dial to one hundred fifty thousand volts.

"Shame on you," he said finally, turning it to two hundred thousand volts.

"If I hold this button down for ten seconds, you will no longer be a man. I ask you, where were you heading?" No answer.

"Fine." He then pressed the button.

Outside the room, the two SS officers had to cover their ears from the deafening screams coming through the SOUNDPROOF room.

"Holy hell!" the one shouted.

"I agree."

Back inside, the Knight released the button after five seconds and took out the ear plugs. The colonel was reduced to tears and very burnt genitals. On summoning, an SS officer came in with an aluminum case.

"Now, I give you one last chance," the Knight said. THe knight nodded to the SS officer. The SS officer pulled out a cheese grater from the case and walked up to the Colonel, and placed it on the colonel's manhood.

"Now, where were you going?" When he wouldn't answer, the Knight nodded to the SS officer. When an evil grin came across his face, the colonel looked in terror.

"OKay, okay!" he finally submitted. "I'll talk." THe knight smiled and nodded to the SS officer, and the cheese grater of doom and its keeper left the room.

"Coming to your sences, eh?" The colonel ignored that comment.

"I was heading to Cherry Ridge. They are harbouring Pax Maria soldiers." The Knight looked at him, and clicked on the tape recorder."

"Say what?" The colonel started again.

"Cherry Ridge is harbouring Pax Maria men. I got word of it from some other commanders before we fled. That is where I was heading." THe KNight nodded.

"Thank you," the Knight said. The Praesillei Dei commander then hit him behind the neck, knocking the colonel out. When he walked outside, the Knight turned to the SS officers.

"Throw him back in his cell."

"Yessir." When the Knight walked back upstairs, he got on his phone. He got the answering machine, though.

OOC: Derscon, just play along. Check your telles.

Colonel Steven Alexander sat there, pain coursing through his body even though the electricty was done with. He felt his life draining though he was not dieing.

A few moments later, five Imperial Guardsmen approached the room. "Colonel Marcus Heider, l'Empereur Divison" he said as he spoke to the SS officer. This was the Emperor's personal guard. I have recieved orders from Arch Duke von Oberhausen to take this prisoner into custody.

The Imperial Guardsman looked around at the other Dersconi's in the room. "Could you all gather over there, he pointed to the corner of the room. "I need to get your names to reccomend you all for decorations, my man will come by and take them shortly."

Immediately an Imperial Guardsman approached the group with a pen and a pad of paper. "Go tell the man your name." Heider told the SS officer. The SS man walked over the corner and immediately, the Imperial Guardsman with the pad jumped aside as the other two men opened fire with their MP-5's slaughtering every single man in the group. The Guardsmen then took a note out of their pocket. It was a writ of execution signed by Count von Oberhausen and the Czar. He placed it on the door, and then tacked it down using his combat knife.

"You'll ruin everything." the Imperial Guardsman spat in Alexander's face. He became enraged and lunged at the Guardsman, but he was chained to the wall and unable to move. Heider pulled out a pistol and shot the man in the head at point blank range, splattering the man's brain's all over the back walls.

"That should be everyone that knows anything." the Guardsman sighed. He then collected his men and exited.

The note on the door read.

"The following men's death's have been commanded by His Emminence, the Arch Chancellor of Reichskamphen, and the Czar of Derscon, Arch Chancellor and DeFacto Emperor of Greater Prussia.

The men's names were listed and among them was Alexander's name.

It was signed...real signatures by the actual men.

Members of the 1st Crusader army who are responsible for defending Jerusalem were sifting through an abandoned camp. They were searching for evidence of the occupants. It was obvious it had been a military camp, but they had left in the hurry. The night before Apache helicopters had been looking for an small band of unknown armed men in the night.

There wasn't much to look at except some tents, cigarettes and ration cans. Investigators packed up the evidence all the same to later checking. Colonel Hamas, an Arab, picked up a badge hidden in the sand. "UVF" is said. He showed it to his boss, Major Shamah. The Major rolled his eyes "Well, are we not surprised. I fully expect the equipment found here to Prussia in manufacturing. Keep it, we'll need it for the Inquisition to check further. The material in the badge will tell us what part of Reichskamphen it came from."

They cleaned out the evidence and even did a metal detect of the sand. They picked up some spent bullet shells and left the place to desert. Apache helicopters swept the desert that night.

The 3rd Regiment, 1st Brigade, of the Sola Fide Division of His Majesty's Imperial Guard were returning to their base in Jerusalem. The desert was cold at night and the winds whipped sand around them. The sand penetrated everything and soaked everything. It was the eternal constant.

The men's heads turned as they saw Inquisition Helicopters flying overhead training spotlights on them. The standard bearers quickly unfurled the flag of the Imperial Family and then the flag of the Imperial Guard. The flags flapped and stretched out in the wind for the pilots to see.

The Hauptmann of the regiment ordered a full stop. The regiment turned a military corner towards the helicopters hovering above them, presented arms, and saluted them. "Vive l'Empereur!" they shouted.

As the helicopters continued on their way, the division resumed its march as well.

"Dammit." said one of the soldiers as he felt his pocket. "I lost me badge!"

"Don't worry. There's plenty out there. I'm sure you'll find another souvenir." the man beside him sighed.

A Humvee bearing the Jeruselem Inquisition flag arrived at the gates of Reichskamphen Imperial Guard base in Jeruselem. Major Shamah rolled down the windows and showed the guards his army ID and another ID belonging to member of Inquisition.

"I'm Major Shamah of the 1st Crusader army and this is Inquisitor James. We want to meet your regiment commander to discuss the movements of the regiment for the last few days. The local Arabs have reported military camps belonging to unknown people and just want to make sure they do not belong to some Iraqi militias or other local ratbags. We figured it was one of yours after our helicopters found of your units in the desert." he said the guards. He showed them their pistols "And we only have these on us. We are military people after all.".

"He is out on assignment," the gate Guard reported. "He will be back in two days, and no, I don't know where to reach him. Please come back in two days. We will refund your gas money, sorry for having you come out this far for nothing."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Commander of the post listened to the exchange between the guard and the Inquisition officers as he sat comfortably in his office on the base. "Might as well be the Pax Maria wondering in here asking about our movements." he sighed before he returned to his computer, composing two letters, one to the government of Jerusalem and the other to Arch Duke von Oberhausen.

To: Jerusalem Heads of State
From: Colonel T. Edward Martos, Commander of Imperial Guard Jerusalem, Protection Sector 3. (OOC: The Empire is all divided into protection sectors in each sector is a controlling unit and base.)

Reports reached me from my base a few moments ago that the Inquisition had stopped to speak with me. I immediately wrote this and had it wired back to the base to be sent to you.

You must remember that the Imperial Guard operates separately from, but with respect towards any national authority. In the case of our troop movements, I would be glad to speak to a representative of your government about these issues, but feel that it would undermine the authority of the guard to speak with the Inquisition concerning these matters. This would give the appearance of weakness and kow-towing. This is an appearance that neither of us can afford. As your government is one of the most important nations in the region and benefits much more from the current arrangement and from the crown than many others, it is in your best interests to see that the situation remains as is.

I will speak to a Church official or a representative from the Royal Family but not to the Inquisition.

God Bless.

RE: Movements of the Imperial Guard

I would like to meet with you about the matter of the Reichskamphen Imperial Guard stationed in our nation. The 1st Crusader army is worried about potential firefights if our nations are unaware of the movements of each other's troops. I will be bringing with me General Shabat, who is also the minister of Defense.

It is normal for Inquisition to be involved in some military intelligence matters. We do not have a separate intelligence agency and they have been unified under the name of the Inquisition.

God bless

HEY REICHSKAMPHEN, SWORD FIGHT!

Kremlin Dungeons

The Interrogations Knight was about to open the door when he saw the execution notice. He was shocked and confused. What the hell?

When he walked in, the SS officers and Alexander were dead in the cell. The bodies were there for about five hours, so the smell was pretty bad.

He went to the desk and pulled out the tape recorder. They missed this. He then turned to the mirror on the wall. I wonder...

The Knight ran outside and over to the other room where the video camera was still untouched by outside forces. He pulled the tape out and ran back into his office.

Back in his office, his coffee cup was broken on the ground and he was staring at the video in shock as he saw the Imperial Guard killing them all.

Wait a minute... He rewound the tape.

***

***
The Knight smiled. "That note was faked." He rewound it again.
***
You'll ruin everything." the Imperial Guardsman spat in Alexander's face.
***
The Knight shook his head. "Pax Maria." He slammed his fist into the desk, causing it to break a little.

"Goddamn Pax Maria infiltrated the Guard!" He picked up his phone and dialed Oberhausen again.

Count, this is the Knight again. It is urgent you come to the Kremlin.
Matters such as ones I have found cannot be discussed over the phone.
Conversation only safe in the Kremlin.

IC: Dietrich von Oberhausen quickly made his way to the airport where he boarded his own personal Jet, bound for Derscon.

Upon arriving, his customary Dersconi drivers took him immediately to the Kremlin where guards escorted him to the officials office. He then walked in. He was Arch Duke Dietrich von Oberhausen. He didn't have to knock. He was a national hero for heaven's sake.

"Good to see you." Oberhausen said. "And I am afraid I know what you are talking about all too well." He looked at the chair sitting infront of the official's desk. "Mind if I sit down?"

The Interrogations Office

The Praesillei Dei Knight slauted and nodded to Oberhausen. "Yes, please sit." The office they were is was the old Office of the Inquisition put in place during the Romanov era. Many Protestants were put to death from orders from this office, and now the interrogations Knight held it, and many Catholics were executed from this office under Rekjyavich Andropov the First.

"First off, your palace is bugged. I called you previously, if you remember. THe next few hours everyone involved except me was killed." He took a sip of his tea and nodded to the tea and coffee maker.

"Want some?" He waited for his reply and continued.

"What concerned me the most, though, was that the signatures were the Czar's and yours. I apologize if I seem out of place, but you have some explaining to do, sir."

"Yes, no worries." Oberhausen said as he sipped as his cup of tea that had been handed to him. "The signature was indeed mine, and if you had checked, it was the Czar's signature as well. This was no forgery. The situation with Cherry Ridge is a very complicated one and a news story such as this could ruin every plan that I have set in motion. I conferred with the Czar, therefore, and we determined it the best course of action to simply have them executed before they could do anything or go anywhere. It seems a bit gang-landish...but it had to be done." he took another sip of his tea.

"That man's confession is on tape. It can be used in court...our courts anyway. However that is just one piece of the puzzle. I must tell you that the Imperial Guard is off collecting the rest of the puzzle and all we require are the last two pieces. If this news story had broke...then all bets would have been off." He took another sip of his tea then said decidedly. "I think I would like a bit of cream."

"In any case, we have a special job for you...our law system won't allow us to deal with the 40,000 captured Pax Maria as is necessary. As you also have warrants out for the arrest of all Pax Maria. We will turn them over into your...ahem...supervision."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I didn't try to convert them..." he said, petrified, stuttering on his every word "I merely tried to advance a religion that was down trodden."

"All I saw was the wholesale slaughter of Protestants and the turning of our fair land into a military state." Arch Duke von Oberhausen said as he walked into the room, nodding to the Czar. (OOC: This happened a long time ago, but is being done now, so Oberhausen was there.)

"You faggot!" he arched back and spit at Andre. "I know that's not very royal, but neither are you...you child molesting pederast!"

The look in Andre's eyes gave it away. "Yes...you think I didn't know..." Oberhausen said with an evil grin as he produced his old service revolver from the Reichskamphian Army. "I knew there was much more than show and tell going on you sick fuck!" Oberhausen, without hesitation extended his revolver and shot Andre square in the kneecap. "I'm told that's the absolute most painful place to be shot. I wouldn't know. I've only been shot in the shoulder, he pointed to it, the chest, he pointed again, and the arm, he pointed to the sling on his arm...and by your bloody papist men!" he shouted as blood spurted from the former Emperor's kneecap. He grasped his knee in pain and cried profusely, trying to hold the blood in.

Oberhausen stormed over to Andre and smacked him in the head with the pommel of his pistol. "Get up you faggot! I stood up and hacked my way through fifteen men at the battle of Achenberg and my leg was nearly cut off!" Andre still scrounged on the floor. "Oberhausen kicked him in the stomache. "Get up!"

Andre pulled himself to his feet, shaking violently. "Oberhausen then turned to the czar and said, "Sorry old friend. I deserved to have a piece of him too." Then he turned back to Andre. "Your friend and mine, the Czar would like to have another word with you. He then picked up the Imperial Court Sabre that had fallen from Andre's waist during the debacle and threw it to him. "He would like to have a very pointed conversation."

Throne Room

The Czar smiled at Oberhausen. "Indeed, you deserved that. Now, I believe the Interrogations Knight is waiting for you. Don't worry, I know everything that goes on in this city." When Oberhausen left, the Czar shook his head at Andre. The Czar closed his eyes and began chanting Dante, of all people.

"I am the way into the city of woe; I am the way to a forsaken people. I am the way into eternal sorrow." A few movements and the whole room went black, but the All-seeing eye was glowing eerily. Anyone who wasn't use to it would go frozen in fear. Especially when it blinked.

"Sacred justice moved my architect. I am raised here by divine omnipotence, primordial love and ultimate intellect." The whole room then seemed to erupt in flames. Andre and Ivan were encircled by an elipse of fire. Black shadows could be seen swirling around in the flames -- and the All-seeing Eye glew much brighter. The Dragon Sword's blade then glew pure white.

"Only those elements time cannot wear were made before me, and beyond time I stand." The Czar opened his eyes, and his cape burst into flames, yet would not be consumed. Ivan's eyes were glowing red. He held the sword in the air, parallell to the All-seeing Eye.

"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here." When that was said, the All-seeing Eye began to rotate in opposite directions. the outer circle clockwise, and the Triangle counterclockwise. Eventually, a flash of blinding white light appeared, and in it was the gates to Hell. When they burst open, Andre went white with fear.

Four twenty-five foot dragons appeared before the gates shut but would not disappear. Demons were right behind the gates, waiting to take the loser's soul.

The Dragons positioned themselves in the four corners of the room. One was entirely red -- the Dragon of Fire. One was blue -- the Dragon of Ice. One was Green -- the Dragon of Wind. One was Brown -- the Dragon of Earth. They slowly orbited around the Throne Room, with their elements coming out of their mouths every once in awhile. The Czar just stood there, staring at Andre.

"Now, you shall die, and your sould be consumed!" He swung the Blade, now hot from hellfire, at Allistaire's neck, starting the battle.

Andre quickly parried the swing and ducked down sweeping at the Czar's ankles with his sabre. The Czar jumped back and Andre did likewise. The two stared at eachother from accross the room for what seemed like hours before Andre threw himself forward swinging diagonally at Ivan.

The Czar nonchalantly held his blade up to parry and Andre's sabre snapped in two like a twig. The Czar grabbed a hold of his collar and threw him nearly 40 feet where he landed on the cold stone floor.

"I broke my leg!" he shouted, trying to drag himself away from the Czar with the bottom half of his broken sword waving infront of him in a hopeless defense.

"Please! Master! Don't take me!"

THe Czar threw back his head and laughed an evil laugh.

"You are pathetic. You call yourself an Emperor? You are nothing but subhumman scum. You are not worthy to be in my presence." Ivan took the sword and amputated Andre's broken leg.

"Not broken anymore, is it!" He chopped off the other leg and Andre's left arm.

"And just for kicks, watch this!" Ivan chopped off his own non-sword arm, and a firestorm swirled around it, reforming the arm, and disintigrating the old.

Ivan picked Andre up by the collar and held him an inch from his face.

"Burn in Hell, bitch." The Czar turned to the Gates as they opened up, the daemons rushing out of it. Ivan then threw Allistaire into the abyss. Screams were heard, and the gates shut right after the elemental dragons left. In five minutes, the whole room was back to normal, as if nothing ever happened. The Czar chuckled and put the Dragon Sword back in its spot at the head of the Throne. He brushed the ash off his shirt, and walked out to the bar in the lounge to get a cup of tea.

OOC: What a nice message to send as we reopen embassies in the Reich.
Napoleon isn't a protestant in any other sense than the nominal one, that is why they picked him.

IC: This message of violence against the Greater Prussian Government and our principle religion would very much draw into great doubt the possibility of success on further diplomatic discussions which are currently underway if it was the feeling of the government of Iesus Christi and not merely a lower member of the government speaking.

We would caution the Government of Iesus Christi to control the public statements of its government members especially in such a tenuous situation.
