News of a leaked covert opinion poll has uncovered the fact that most Ilythiiri would prefer to go to Menelmacar if ever they were ever to emigrate. This covert poll is one of several alleged polls to be conducted in secret by the Royal Government of Seck’Sapeel, and the first that has been leaked.
The Covert Judgement of Opinion
According to credible sources, these Covert Opinion Polls (Olist Khlurysten d'Zhadur or OKZ) are a way for the Government to discreetly find out what the people are thinking about. The polls are made so that the Government knows which sectors of territory they need to monitor.
Despite this being seen as an invasion of privacy, no one seems to mind. When asked about the OKZ, one member of the public said, “Hey, we know we are being watched all the time. The Valsharess wants to make sure her seat remains hers so it’s only natural.”

Although Menelmacar was the single most popular nation outside of Seck’Sapeel, there are other names nations that appeared, among them being Taurenor and New York and Jersey.
People seem to be interested in emigrating possibly due to the cramped conditions, which are currently being relieved thanks to an effort to expand the subterranean city of Seck’Sapeel itself.
The Valsharess herself has heard about the leak, and had the following comment, “I knew that the situation with overpopulation was becoming a sensitive subject, so I wished to find out where people are planning on going to. Checking emigration logs only paint part of the picture. As much as I do not like the idea of people emigrating, it may be a sensible option with the current circumstances. It is also calming to know that people would like to go to the more friendly nations.”
