Usually I refrain from advertising for roles like this, but after the past month's disastrous episodes I'm willing to make an exception or three, as long as I get back into the thick of things. I figure that I'm a bit bored by my 'crew' of RPers that I regularly interact with, and need a bit of fresh blood to rekindle my NS flame.

I feel a bit of an explanation of my absence is owed to those who care:

After near severing a finger with a hacksaw I took a few weeks off to heal up and take stock. My hand is knitting nicely and I can almost type as well as ever, though my index finger will never again bend correctly. In the time when I couldn't write at all(misery), I took the opportunity to completely wipe my computer and start from scratch. I lost all of my music, my games, my Instand MEssengers, and sadly, roughly two years of my writing, including the plans and pre-written announcements for my fledgeling VS missile systems.

Well, upon my return to NS, which was far from triumphant, I found my region in tatters, allies and enemies in bed together, and Pantera without a set path, which is the first time since it's founding that I have not known exactly what I wanted to do in the long-term.

Now, I'm returned, I am eager to get back to writing, and I have a fair bit of free time over the next month or so.

What am I lacking? Motivation maybe, or maybe I just need someone to play off of. Regardless of the reasons, I am in dire need of a role.

Have something for me in a current RP? An idea for a new RP? I am more than willing to work with new or old nations alike, the only stipulation being:

Modern or near-future tech, please.

I'd offer, but I don't think we ever finished the two RPs we *had* together, and I doubt you'd be interested in 1960s technology... it's good to see you around again, though. I suppose that's what I'll say here. If only AMF would come back... :(

Well, my Rp CITY OF THE DEAD is currently going on and already closed; so I'm sad to say I can't offer you a role in that.

My two Rps (ALIEN VS PREDATOR, CITY OF THE DEAD) so far have been Horror/Sci-fi. To get an idea if I can cast you for a role, what kind of RP are you usaually in?

So I'm wondering if you would even consider me because Kormanthor
is Future Tech.

I'm writting one right now that is to be based on a old TSR storyline called
Tale of a Comet. Basically it is a mixture of Future and Fantasy.

I'm also involved in a modern tech war RP called " Invasion of Sanctaphrax "
in International Incidents.

Pantera, I wouldn't mind OOCly helping you, but ICly it would be very hard to justify. Pantera and Vrak have little to nothing to do with eachother. We aren't in the same alliances or organizations. Heck, we may only "know" of eachother through our actions affecting 3rd party nations, as it were.

I did try to get involved through your "Voidseeker" (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=368852) contract offering. Perhaps do a search of your old threads and see who was posting. Or, if you wish, do a search under my handle and see if any particular story strikes your fancy. Then give me a telegram.

I'd offer you a role in helping squash dissention in the Empire. but I may be too far future for you. Ah, life.....

Vrak: I was very excited about the Voidseek thing, but after wiping my computer I lost all of my pre written stuff for it, so I'll have to put it on the back burner until I get the motivation to rewrite it... Other than that, I'm sure we could work something out. I'll take a look through your posts and mebbe telegram you later.

Hell yeah I'm still around, and raising hell like the days of old! The war with Crimm is dragging on, and that's mostly my fault due to RL troubles.

I might have some work for you Pantera, I'll get back to you in a day or two depending on how things fold out.

I'm new to NationStates, though I think I'm finding my way around quite nicely. I haven't put a lot of depth into the background of my country yet, but I'm very capable at RPing. My country's technology is slightly futuristic of modern, but all things considered, it falls nicely into your category.

If you need someone around your RPs, you can give me a ring.

OOC: Something to consider Pantera, is perhaps a whole new feel. I know that your nation, together with Automagfreek took on a very pagen style. I think whilst thats still interesting, I cant really grasp what your own feelings are. Personally, I am growing rather tired of the regular 'RAWR IM HUMAN' thing; something I have had since the beginning of my roleplay days. What I am experimenting on lately, is the rise of Undead within my nation; perhaps you would be interested in a similar approach?

Anyhow, I know it would most certainly make a nice addition to my RP's if I had the chance to 'CONVERT' Pantera into a nation of Undead. In the end however, its really up to you... Post here; or TG me if you want more info. My instant messenger details are available by clicking on the left of this post, im sure you realise already.
