While my Civil War is winding down, what I want to do on NationStates is starting to heat up once again. My factbook is in dire need of a update, as are my public relations. Also, the sequel to the award winning Realm of the Risen, the first Survival Horror roleplay on NationStates, has been long overdue and will begin over my Christmas break. That being said...
I am interested, once again, in doing a different type of roleplay. In this story, a broken man will be contemplating suicide to take him away from his ruined life in the first post. The second post, and all the others then on out, will be flash-backs on the events leading up to the first post of the thread. It is here where I want others to roleplay along with me.
In this roleplay, currently open but eventually closed for all of our sanity, you will assume the role of someone in this man's life who directly or indirectly effects him in a good or a bad way. A character could range from a wife who ends up leaving him, a boss who gives him a promotion, a mugger who steals his wallet on a subway, or a man or saves him from certain peril.
Each RPer will have one character, who will most likely come in contact with my character more than once. For an example, I too will have a character who effects the main one, giving me two but everyone else one. Sorry for being greedy...lol. In the end of the thread, my character will be at the point he is in the first post, contemplating his life worth. How your characters effect him will effect his decision.
What I want are posters who are willing to honestly contribute to this RP (and not leave after posting 8 pages of important stuff and leave the rest hanging). I want you all to come up with a character, and give that character a bio and a face by way of a picture. I don't want you to say "good influence" or "bad influence" because I don't want it to be that clean cut. In my wife example, for instance, having a wife and then possibly having children would be a great benefit. If the wife leaves, that's a detriment.
So...who's willing to give it a shot?
