Exoditie Troubles...

'It is almost time, to begin, Rai'Star have you selected the Clan?' Iyaana was alone with the Rai'Star of the Exodite peoples, the man who was both their King and voice upon the Council of the Keigh, the two had begun work on this plan many months back, and slowly the pieces where coming together, but first the Clan had to chosen and prepared.

'Indeed High Farseer, The 'Red-Dawn Clan will accept the honour they have always been the smallest of the Clans, even before... The Mon-Keigh. And no Children survived the Mon-Keigh's arrival only her warriors remain, they would fit the needs we have perfectly.' His voice was pained as he spoke of the events that had led to the alliance and merging of the two races of Keigh. The original homeworld of this particular group of Exodities was now a charred ruin orbiting a Sun another Dead hunk of rock in the endless depths of space. Few of their people had escaped alive and the damge that had been done was permanment, without the Kionash of Yvresse the Exodites would have perished soon after. Now however they where a viable part of the Keigh society, and about to begin the steps neccersary to truely prove their worth, he relished the chance.

'Then Begin. The operation is authorised, proceed to stage One, the Rangers will be at the place agreed.' With that Iyaana stood and left the room, Rai'star had a busy few days ahead of him, as did Iyaana, they would not meet again until the operation had passed the point of recall.

**Badbaltrias Three days Later The New Exodite Homeworld.***

'You understand what you are being asked, once you leave through the Webgate you cannot return at least not alive for all intents and purposes you have betrayed us, only I Iyaana and the rest of the Council will know the truth until you have all died.' His voice was somber and calm yet hidden behind it was simple expectation he would not be let down. In response the Exodite simply nodded.

'We understand and accept' Then turning to the remants of his warriors his tribe, the young Chief raised his fist, 'Gather the Mounts we ride tonight.'

**A Month Later The Webway***

The Exodites had been away now for sometime, by this point their absence would have noted by the other Tribes, the lack of watch over the hunting lands the band claimed, the fact that it was Harvest time, and none of them had returned to the small field the Tribe had maintained togather the crops in and other small co-incidences would lead to the inevitable conclusion.

A week ago they had made contact with the 'Outcasts' the Rangers, Kionash who walked the Path of the Outcast, but still served the Craftworld indirectly. From them had been brought packages, officially liberated from the Infinity Circuit, they contained Orbital reconisence records, Web way locations doted around various states, Names and addresses of Kionash Agents in many nations, both allied and indifferent almost the entirety of the Kionash's Infiltration network, With the exception of the Mon-Keigh Internal Security Services on Mars. The plan was for the Exodites and Rangers gathered here to absorb the entire operation into itself, to 'steal' the entire network, in one week. It would start early.

***Aelosia Mars***

((OOC I did a while ago mention sleeper agents on Mars and specifically but not limited to Aelsoia... at the time the target was the Queen but they are still there so...))

The particular target for the night was a Elf, in actual fact he did not know what it was he guarded for the Kionash he did not even know he guarded anything, he was paid to live in the house and take Photo's transmitting them once a month to a family friend. In all honesty no one ever looked at his Photo's no one cared about what he photographed. Nor did he, and in recent months he hadn't bothered sending any Photo's no one had noticed.

No one would notice when he did not appear the next day, or the week after that, his throat cut by an assailent who had been waiting for him when he returned home, an assailent who had simply stepped out of the web into a Closet, slit the mans throat and stepped out. This Gate was being Shut down, attention was moving away from Aelosia for a while. The Explosion that rocked the House as the Gate was shut permanetly would bury any lingering evidence.

Over the next few Days similar incidents happened in many cities in many nations, Contacts in chains where executed, and new agents slipped into their place. Without any exception every individual killed was Kin or Mon-Keigh, but it was apart from seemingly a randomn series of killings.

Of course the silent purging of the risks was but the start, the Exodites and rangers had been selected for this role, due to their more pro-active skills rather than as mere handlers, but they where to be the hand the Kionash did not control, the hand they could not direct, and in being so, the hand that served them best. First through they had to gather the new Support network...

Now it was time for the Acting to begin... First from Galdern's 'Palace' on Earth to The Mon-Keigh Internal Security Services on Mars...

Although I am going for several different conversations from different places it helps to know OOCly at least one person has an excuse to get the story))

'What do you mean the External Branch has lost contact with it's operatives?' The fact that Farseers are addicted to the Path of Farseers ment that for a person recieving such news his voice sounded remarkably calm...
'What in Khaine's Name is going on, I need that information, find out Commander, Find out immediatly, my research has already been delayed....'

***Mars Darvins at the Duma, securish terminal Typed communication***

Wasn't that one of our Safe Houses in Aelosia?
Indeed Farseer, I checked the records and it would fit, as would some other incidents, I think at the moment we are looking at the near total collapse of the External Security division.

OOC Bah see abpve answer Pain that is Ctan:p

Slowly the Chaff was being cut, most of th people slain would be unable to survive in the new direction being taken, people who had been hired to sit in a building would make security risks if caught. It was better to wipe the flaws out.

It took time, but the list they had was a full one and the Purges continued, along with the new mission details. Each of the survivors was to form the Nucleus for a Cell, to approach and recruit others, to co-erce and bribe. Of course this was risky and it was estimated that of the Survivors some 20-35% would be unable to adapt to the new mode of operation a further 10-15% would prove unwilling to take the risk and defect or simply attempt to disappear.

The profiles where quite exact and the greatest risks of either capture of betrayel where being wwatched, one odd move and the Outcasts where to finish of the Suspect Agents before details of the Purge and of the Agents actions could be leaked. Again the random attacks cover would be utilised, however on those that where Elven in a Non-Elven state a furthe mislead was presented, as such attacks would be presented as some Anti-Elven violence, and pinned behind a mask of racism and discrimination.

Time was short it would not be long till authority's actively attempted to prevent their attacks....

Of course some targets where placed a little more... delicatly, indeed, for the Red-Dawn the next stage was a little bit of a gamble but, it would help sell the story, for now it seemed that few realised what was occurin, which was on the one hand good, if it had been too obvious people would have smelt a set up.... on the Other hand...

It was time. Two 'Agents' had been marked in the Capital of Menelmacar for elimination the second operated a small one man large Web Gate, used as most of the others as a backdoor... Coupled where two others who would need watching at least for a while.

The first of the pair to be slain was a relitevely simple job, a Shurikan round was fired from a Sniper Position by the time it had hit the man the Ranger had gone. Leaving the Rifle behind of course. Blending into the city, the Rifle and the Shurikan where of Kabal design, indeed they where made by the Kabal originally, such things fall into the hands of the Kionash from time to time. In this case the killings where to be blamed idealy on remnants of the defeated Kabal, seeking to gain revenge on the Menelmacarai for their 'Defeat'.

The Second Death was more visual, fear and pain was the driving force of the Kabal, and so this killing would need to instil that sense of the macarbe and cruel. 'Fortunatly' for the Rangers the tool existed for doing such. A simple adaption of the Shrieker round of Ammo, Slower in it's effects the Biological and Chemical posien would slowly and painfully turn the 'Mon-Keighs' insides against him before bringing final death after at least it was estimated Half an hour. half an hour of Pain beyond description and finnally madness before the shell of the mans body would explode from the pressure contained within.

Daytime in the streets had been chosen for this hit, the Ranger would simply bump against the victim delivering the Chemical into the bloodstream... If all went as planned an explosion would occur at the same moment as the mans house went up in ball of Plasma all too disguise the evidence of a Webgate hidden within the building.

ISA INTERNAL MEMORANDUM /102/103/113
From: Sentinel One Operations Commander Robertson. To S-Director de Vere.
.
Sir.

I am writing to you to discuss the matter of the murders of all eight active suspects under monitoring for collusion with the Yvressi. A number of methods have been used in the murders, but all appear to have been carried out by Eldar of some stripe. We have found a number of weapons. Most notably, on subject Robins (Case File Attached) an assassin entered the building where the stakeout was underway to eliminate the target (who is now eliminated) and was suppressed in a brief firefight with the agents on station (with casualties on our side, unfortunately). Interesting in particular is the rechambered splinter rifle, using Yvressi manufactured ammunition. We are unaware of the motives for this, and will continue to observe.

Yours,
Senior Commander Robertson.

'What happened with the Yngir Team?' The Exodite Chief was a little to be honest bored, most of the work at the moment was in the hands of the Rangers, who where used to the Sniper role, his own men where sitting waiting. Gathering reports and biding their time.

'As far as we can tell the Internal security had the targets under survailence and well... the two groups ran into each other picking near identical positions and well both groups opened fire and engaged each other. The Target was eliminated however, it's still unknown who actually made the final killing...' The Eldar shrugged confusion still hung around that operation. In all honesty the Yngir operatives always had a low life expectency, both governments where too suspicious of each other it seemed the new masters would have the same problems.

'Never mind then....'

Oooh! Do you think you would have any business assassinating certain humans and/or elves in LRR? While most of the population is robot or insectoid/fishoid, there are many many races and species living in LRR establishments. Perhaps an old enemy might have gone to an RGF trade post to continue in secrecy, and his/her past or present activities finally caught up with them?

Lunatic Retard Robot's Trading Station.

Here in the depths of space the Keigh Kill teams where a little subtler, it wouldn't do too breach a hull in wiping clean the evidence, and so no explosions rocked the station. Instead the deaths where silent, necks slit in the dead of night, a subtle addition to a drink in a bar. Three agents where eliminated in this manner, yet such roundabout methods of killing can slip up, and so it was here.

A drink on it's way to one target was mixed up with another patron's, the man's death was painful as once again the Keigh fell; back to making it appear to be the work of Fallen, he ran, his death would take over an hour to occur, throughout that hour he screamed, few sedatives could calm him down, as his body turned violently against him. ripping him apart from the inside...

As for the Stations Webgate, it was kept open, the Agent in control of it, was safe, actually a part of the conspiracy, a Ranger himself, he slipped easily into the new network, from him would the new LLR division ultimatly be centered. Across the myrid stations and outposts the LLR maintained, of course he would need to start from the ground up almost, but it was a challange he looked forward too.

Again the Webgate opened and again the curious sight of Yvresse Aspect Warriors fresh from battle unheralded was seen, this group appeared somewhat more upbeat, althogh it still seemed they where not counting whatever victory they had won as decivisie...

Regarding:- Web way security.

In recent weeks we have witnessed a growing number of battles within the Web, at this time it is still unknown who or what exactly the trouble makers are, but we advise and request that any nation with access to the Web Contact the Council urgently so that we can we can locate and isolate any risk posed to your peoples.

As such we would require the Web Location of any secret Web Gates you may have in existence, so that we can elminate that gate as a potential site of investigation. It is at this time thought that the most likely suspects for these troubles are remnants of the Kabal, however this is as of yet not confirmed and we urge caution.

The death of the station sensors engineer causes quite a stir in the usually peaceful DS-221. Immediately, robot medical teams have the body in for examination, before its traditional cremation.

The robot medics do not actually open up the body, but use highly advanced MRI and other remote imaging systems to get a good view of the man's innards.

The verdict- poisoning. With no other health problems to speak of, and the presence of an unknown substance in his body, and the fact that he died violently and had a prolonged period of suffering points to several canditates. Before long, other bodies are found at the station, and the robots tighten security heavily, pending an investigation.

"Attention all vessels, be advised; DS-221 outpost is closed to traffic for an unspecified amount of time. Please divert to other outposts. Message repeats..."

Over the sub-etha and radio communications networks it is made known that DS-221 is closed down. Within days, a battlecruiser (significantly smaller than an independent cruiser, but still packing heavy firepower) parks itself outside the station, reinforcing the idea of isolation.

A group of marines from the battlecruiser joins the outpost's security team in making a thorough check of every single room.

"Open up or we will force our way in!" yells the Major in charge of the security teams.

The Door opened slowly the Keigh looking over the Security officers with an arrogent shrug of indifferance... 'Mon-Keigh, does it appear I was going to prevent your access... come on in...' His voice dripped with barely contained disgust at the man.

'Now I am rather busy so if you wouldn't mind what it is exactly your searching for, I have work to be getting on with...' He looked over the man and then nodded, 'Major, thats unusual is it not for a Major to be running a simple search of houses, tell me is it common for Military personal to be used in police actions, I really did not expect that...' looking over the group he gestured to his home a small apartment a three rooms, one hos bedroom another a writing and Kitchen area the last was his bathroom obviously a small cub-board was closed inside it boxes where piled up one on top of the other although behind it was a clear space strangely enough.

((OOC High energy Readings could be detected from the Cub-Board, his desk has a lot of papers scattered around it, and other forms of Data Recording, but it is all written in Eldarlan, so your major would have to be able to speak the language to understand it.Other than that it's a normal flat.))

The Keigh's observation is a valid one. A Major of the combined forces command would more often be found in charge of the garrison of a planet or a brigade of combat infantrymen, deployed in a battlefleet.

The presence of such a high rank is an indicator that the RGF considers the task a very important one, either that or a Major is what happened to be around in terms of leadership. Unlike the rest of the security team, the Major is a human. LRR's relatively small human population is generally prepared for anything, the other humans moving to systems where they are among more of their own kind, rather than the robots and insectoids that abound in LRR.

The Keigh might notice the insignia of Duke Lenni's expeditionary force, perhaps the most experienced RGF infantry unit (it is safe to assume that just about the entire space-ship force has seen some kind of combat one time or another). He wields a blast-pistol, about the size of an old AKM assault rifle, while the other members of the security team carry light fragmentation rifles and shotgun-like weapons.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but the poisoning of four people aboard a free station is not something we tend to take lightly. It is in your best interest to cooperate with the search. Lieutenant?"
"Aye, sah?"
"Bring up the energy scanners. Run a search of the flat."

The lieutenant, also wearing the insignia of Duke Lenni's expeditionary force, directs a pair of enlisted ranks into the room, hefting large boxes, still heavy in the station's reduced gravity. The enlisted ranks open them up and set up antennae. The boxes buzz with activity, and shortly the Major directs several members of the security team to investigate the kitchen, where there is an anomalous energy signature.

"Baking, are you, sir?"

The robots muse over what the agent says, and decide that whatever it is he has (they aren't familiar with webgates, considering that the things are almost totally alien to LRR or its associate systems), it will have to wait until later for a thorough investigation.

The Major, still a little bit suspicious, motions for the two enlisted-ranks to head back out the door.

"Next time you bring something like that onto a trade station, make sure you register it with the authorities. 'Rouse suspicion, that'll."

With these parting remarks, the security team files dejectedly out of the flat, and proceed to the next one.

After a few weeks of nothing, the station is opened back up, albeit to reduced traffic. The sight of an RGF cruiser parked outside is enough to deter many traders from the station, fearing trouble or the discovery of less-than-legal practices, but after a few days more even the cruiser leaves, headed back into deep space.

However, the flat does not go unmonitored. In a close-by storage compartment, a small, simple but reliable infra-red monitor is set up.

Report from Field Ranger stationed on station DS-221
It appears likely I am uncovered, or under survailence. As such I recommend the sacriface of the Webgate station here to advance Agenda A7. The transport of lesser operatives should begin after One week. Continuing for a Month Or until Station security investigates more aggresivly. I will keep you informed of any further devolpments.

Outcast Meldarinia,

Reply.
Agreed the first Mon-Keigh shall arrive on **** follow operational procedure as previous instructed.

Prepare for immediate evacuation should the Patrols return.

Agenda A7 was simply to draw attention to the presence of a Web gate and the use it was getting, in this the most simple method was the best, a Week after the report was sent his Web Gate opened and a Human emerged blindfolded. Given some simple instruction to gain employment at a Bar or something Similar he was sent into the Colony, a few days later the trick was repeated. What was intended here was to get any Survailence team to notice that these people where emerging from his Flat but none of them had been entering it. It was hoped that the Mon-Keigh would start to wonder about this and return whereby after a brief firefight the Keigh was to withdraw into the Web again to draw attention to the presence of the gate, if all went according to plan it would not be long before people began to investigate...

It was time for the Council to go fully Public, they needed to be discovered first however.

OCC: If you're still interested in this...I mean, if not its perfectly fine, after all you started the whole thing, and I would hate to have killed it, but here goes:

IC:

After several days of relative stalemate, with people appearing out of the flat in question, someone is sent to check on things.

Lieutenant Julia Ronson was always heckled in school for being so short, measuring only slightly more than five feet tall. When she decided to work for the RGF, and was eventually sent off to DS-221, that heckling largely stopped, mostly because the few human employees of the station, mostly charged with security, are too 'proffessional,' and that the robots and the AI have little to do with them, and stay happy playing enhanced card games and solving ridiculously difficult algorithms.

One of the reasons why she had proven so valuable for an assignment on the security team was that, if someone was pointing a firearm at where the head of a usual person might be on the other side of a door, they would miss and give Ronson the split second she needed to lunge at them, and/or draw her own blaster. One of her other skills, possibly a consequence of her less-than-tolerated status among the other children, is in martial arts. She is of almost limitless use in close-quarters engagements, where traditional RGF and its associated arms tactical thought, with broad, sweeping expanses of open space or land, fails miserably.

So lieutenant Ronson finds herself standing in front of the door of Flat 9-G-5, waiting for someone to answer the ring.

Around the corner is a squad of marines, left aboard the station by the cruiser, a ship not designed to shuttle combat troops or to support them in combat, armed with blasters and covered in power armor, to provide support should the confrontation turn ugly.

The doors ringing is ignored briefly, it seemed they where on. No one would come visit him at his home, or at least no one he wasn't expecting. Now it was time to ready for his 'Escape'. First the Shurikan Rifle was taken out of the Web where it had been slipped, a few Flash, and smoke Granades where also pulled up. All in all it took no more than two minutes to gather everything up.

Looking towards the door he nodded to himself before shouting clearly. 'It's open let yourself in...' He was ready for the door to open, themoment it did he planned on chucking a Flash Granade before taking a shot at where it was estimated the targets head would appear...

In this case then the officer would be lucky the first shot if all went as the Ranger planned would miss by inches. Not that it mattered to the Ranger.

As for the Shurikan Rifle's rounds they would be fired in silence, as the weapons made no sound characteristic of standard Mon-Keigh firearms. The only clue to any observers would be the flash.
Lunatic Retard Robots

Lieutenant Ronson pushes the door open, and she is shocked to be facing a beweaponed ranger, although she does not know him as such.

The Ranger's first shot misses by a very small margin, but small enough. Ronson dives out of the way and into the corridor, before the ranger sends more fire her way. The flash grenade, however (I assume that it's explosive), knocks her down the hallway and into unconsciousness, with burns on the legs and lower body.

The marines then move in, gathering around the sides of the door. The Major who the Ranger met earlier tosses a percussion grenade into the flat, along with several other marines, and then moves out of the way as the trooper with a heavy flechette rifle (sort of like an AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher in profile, if you are familiar with 80's era Soviet armements) sprays the flat with fire, semi-obscured by the doorframe. The Marines definately do not want to take any chances with this adversary.

((flash Granades, make a brightflash to blind a person (briefly for a few seconds imagine a bright line being shone in your eyes for a few seconds afterwards you can't see much, nothing permanment, remember he dosn't want to cause explosions within the station, so it's a non deadly weapon))

The ping of bullets surronded him, and the opening Granades had him disorientated but he had been expecting this, now it was time to make his withdrawal. Even as he planned his escape, he felt a ripping pain as his leg was hit by the attacks of the Marines. Definatly time to escape, luckily he didn't have far to go, and it was relativly easy to obscure his route. A Smoke Granade was thrown forwards and the Ranger began to crawl backwards, his Shurikan Rifle now targeting his recalled positions of the Lights in the building, hoping to plunge the place into darkness.

Not that he felt that would work for long a group sch as this would be armed with night vision equipment, but again this was a part of his calculations, he estimated once the building was in darkness the Goggles would be on in no more than 5 to Seven Seconds, therefore in eight seconds he would throw out another Flash Granade. To forces using Nightvision it would be horribly effective the bright light blinding the Goggles long enough for the rest of his escape, assuming his leg held up. All he had to do was make it to the Web Gate, he could lose any pursuers in the Web that much he knew, in fact he almost felt sorry for any who followed him into that confusing and unnatural place....
