The giant space sation slowly rotated around the world. In just a few days now, it would come careening into the atmosphere and explode into billions of pieces of tiny flaming shrapnel. Hans, the leader of the crew of three onboard gilded through the deteriorated interior. Duct tape and metal sheet held the ship together now - It was almost 15 years old. He avoided floating food packets, video cameras, pieces of papers... Everything.

"Leutnant!" he yelled, his voice reverborating throughout the station. Soon, a large figure appear in a doorway and stared at him. The face was stern, but friendly, covered in a thick mess of black hair. "What can I do for you Hans?" he replied. "Alex, I need you to take a look at these papers." he replied, throwing a clipboard with several pices of appers attached across the cabin.

After glancing over the papers, Alex looked up. "What is this? Computer readout?" he asked Hans who nodded in response. "Has Erich looked at this?". Hans pointed to a small window on the side of the cabin. "He's working on a damaged solar panel. Now..." The sound of the airlock alarm beeping overcame his voice. Erich walked inside slowly, removing the hunking blue and white space suit behind him as he swam through the stale air to the two.

"Hey lads, what's going on?" he smiled at Hans and Alex. "Well, here. Since you are of course the computer officer we thought this might concern you." Hans handed him the clipboard and Erich stared at it a moment. "Dear god. The computer is... In approximately one hour it will determine we've run out of supplies and will begin a course to rotate around the Earth until it crashes." the all looked at eachother and scrambled towards the control cabin where the communications array was located. "Call the government and get them to send a crew up here to pick us up." Erich told Alex who was pressing buttons frantically. He picked up the phone and placed it to his ear. "Shit... The lines been knocked out. We-" the computer began speaking. "Hello sirs, how are you this evening? I have determined that we are in no position to continue research, so I have, as programmed to do so, begun a course to destroy the station. The airlocks and communications array are knocked out I'm afraid as I must drain all power to my central unit. Now, please excuse me." it shut off, leaving all three men in a state of shock.
