Etaros

Oröphin Telemnar, Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom of Etaros, had been vigorously working to organize and construct the Lietuv Armed Forces. So far, progress had been fairly significant, and hard numbers had begun to show up. After weeks of deliberation, the Defense Council had finally come to agreement upon basic details, such as uniforms, standard arms, standard vehicles, etc. A showcase of the newly decided structure of the Armed Forces was to be held within the following months, and excitement was running very high among military buffs of the UKE. The Ministry of Defense has decided, however, that sneak previews of what is to come at the Lietuv Armed Forces Convention of 2045 will be shown. The first sneak preview will comprise of Army units, weapons, and vehicles, displayed below.

The BIU, or Basic Infantry Unit, is the standard fighting soldier of the Lietuv Army. Highly trained and well-established in urban warfare, these troops are prepared for basically anything. Basic Training for BIUs is a rigorous six-month course, and they are always on the go. BIUs rarely get any time to rest, and are trained to be awake for long periods of time, the common rate standing around 50 hours. BIUs carry the M40 Fragmentation Grenade and use the Lietuv Standard Battle Rifle (LISBAR) in most operations.
Lietuv Standard Battle Rifle (LISBAR)

The LISBAR is a very effective weapon, known for its accuracy and ability to tear through the enemy. The LISBAR fires 10mm rounds in bursts of 5 rounds within a 60-round magazine. While not the heaviest of Lietuv equipment, the LISBAR is definately a powerful weapon considering the ability to use a scope that allows to shooter to see up to 300 yards away. The LISBAR is favored for its accuracy and semi-armor piercing rounds.
Lietuv Light Reconnaissance Vehicle (LILARV)

The LILARV has become one of the most utilized vehicles in the Lietuv Armed Forces, from Army to Navy. Its superb rating is due to a state-of-the-art braking system, acceleration system, and kindly regard for the environment. The LILARV can travel up to 120 mph on paved terrain, and average speed on "rough" terrain is 60 mph. A flexible vehicle used by commanders and soldiers alike, the LILARV provides security as well as a fast ride. The turret-mounted 14 mm three-barreled machine gun is a sure way to protect those inside the vehicle while traveling at fast speeds, and has been proven to be useful in combat during the Lietuv War of Succession.
Griffin Main Battle Tank

The Griffin is a formidable threat to all who come in its path. The massive combination of steel and titanium has proven to be extremely efficient in combat, and the Griffin is considered the most valuable land asset that the Lietuv Armed Forces contains. Its powerful 100mm high velocity shell-equipped cannon obliterates practically anything that gets in the way, and the coaxial 8mm armor-piercing tracer proves to be a formidable aid in combat. The Griffin weighs nearly 65 tons, and thus moves extremely slow. Top speed on paved terrain is near 35 mph, while top speed on "rough" terrain is around 20 mph. Griffins are usually shipped in by Crane dropships, to be discussed at a later date.
OOC:
All images above have been credited to whoever created them, I believe. If they have not, then be aware that I lay no claim to the creation of any of the above images. If the creator of any of the above images wishes for them to be removed and there is sufficient evidence that said person is creator, the image will be removed.
On a lighter note, this is only the beginning of a large showcase I am planning. This is basically an OOC thread, for my own benefit and for the benefit of others. I will provide showcases like above of my Air Force, Navy, and perhaps one day my Space Navy. Numbers for divisions and stuff like that will be provided after I have showcased everything. If you have any other questions, feel free to TG me. :)
