Here is a brief history of the People's Republic of Mettatron, since the WorldFactbook wouldn't let me put everything....
History in brief:
The People's Republic of Mettatron was founded over 100 years ago after a bloody civil war that lasted about 50 years. During the Civil War, the Resistance who was resisting the Dictatorship, uprised and overthrew the Dictator Xavier III. The People created a Parliment with a Constitution and Bill of Rights, to exude the rights of the People and the role the government should play. After an iterim government, who controlled for 3 years, the People held their first election, electing Prime Minister Valkyrie. Valkyrie brought the idea that science, literature, music, artisanship, and the arts should be the basis of a society. Valkyrie also brought the idea that a governmenty should try to eradicate war, famine, and disease from their society. This ideology became known as Valkyrinism.
Government:
The People's Republic of Mettatron is in the Territories of Mettaron region, in the Northern Valdius sector of the region along the Alveus River. Each allied state of the Territory has a Governor and local Council Members, while the Prime Minister acts as Head of State in the Parliment. Each Governor is elected by their People of their state and local Council members are appointed by the Governors. The People of each member state also elects representatives to the Parliment.
Climate and natural resources:
The region is vast with forest, valleys, mountains, lakes and river, enriched with natural resources. The region has a moderate climate, with dry, cold winters and warm, breezy summers.
Economy:
Free trade and enterprenuership is encouraged.
