Aden, Californian Republic of Yemen
After repeated attacks on Californian vessels in the Red Sea by Ethiopian and Somali armed forces the Californian Sovereign Democratic-Socialist Federation has activated its armed forces in the republics of Persia/Iran, Oman and Yemen. Californian armed forces in the Mid-East Republics will be mobilized and sent to the military bases in Sana'a, Aden, Kedaida and Mekhella to begin preparations to defend Yemen from Ethiopian and Somali armed forces should hostilities against California escalate into a full-scale war.
General Marcus H. Bauer of the Californian Army has been given command of the armed forces stationed in Yemen, and will be directing the offensive against Somalia and Ethiopia. Gen. Bauer will be awaiting orders from President Sandra M. Devnostraeva in Greater Los Angeles, while diplomats try and resolve the conflict diplomatically.
