OOC Intrest-NS Top Gear
Being an American, I dont really find that many British shows entertaining, but one I have found rather enjoyable-Top Gear. I was wondering, with so many nations that have Automotive Manufacturing as an industry and don't really use it for anything, if they, or any nation for that matter, would want to participate in something like a NS Top Gear. Imitora is well known for its automotive culture (and laws that make the Autobahn, or at least certain parts of it, look tight), so I could go ahead and type a thread up every week or so comparing cars from differnt nations and the like. This is just an OOC intrest thread, so if you like the idea, either TGram me or post here. If I get enough of an intrest, we can work it out.
OOC: Actually, Imi, plenty of people do use their automotive industry for something. Like tanks. But, yeah. I get what you're saying.
In fact, as an Australian I get the idea much faster than any of the other yanks around here, more than likely. The only problem I can really see with it is that people might just use pictures and things when, as I see it, the beauty of Top Gear is what the guys say about each car.
There's only so much you can do when someone posts a picture of the perfect car, or of a rusted out piece of junk for that matter.
Strangely, I think this idea's been done before, actually. Still, let's hear your ideas. I'm thinking for Roania trabants. Lots and lots of trabants. ;)
I thought I was the only one who used my auto industry for producing tanks. Hey, their vehicles too...kinda..ok.
Basically, what I would ask is that every week or so, one country submit thier local sports car, one a luxery sedan, something of the like, ya know, just get every nation that is intrested to drop in a car. Then, I would ask them to describe it the best they could (more than just pictures, like, its driving style, popularity, price, the like), or to at least compare it to a RL car. Then, I would do my best to describe in a post what you would see if watching the show. Drop in some dry humor, a little bit of action, and pictures with the post. I know its a lot different watching the Stig take an E46 ///M3 around a track than it is reading it, but I was hoping that the enthusiasts on this site would kinda get an idea of what its like. Plus, maybe I'll post a link to a video of an actual Top Gear episode, or just cars doing what they do best at high speeds, or something.
I realise it would be kinda hard to pull it off, but hell, we have an NS Championship for every sport known to man, we might as well have NS tv shows? Lol.

Well, you've got me in. I'll bump it up when the British and other English-speaking people come on.
No offense, Yankee.
None taken, lol. I appriciate it. If I can get maybe four other nations in on it, hell I give for two more, we'll try it out.

An NS TV show sounds interesting, and I like Top Gear :)
Quick bump for more views, just to see if anyone else is up to this, I think I have just enough to pull off one to get more participation, but more are always welcome.
