To All Whom May Be Concerned,
I have come up a brilliant idea. We should create a region that is uses a true confederate/federal system. All willing nations should move to one region and send delegates to privately have a convention. Then they can debate and discuss a confederate/federal system.
Which makes this different is that it would be like a real confederacy or federal government. It would consist of different states that would either have a strong or weak central government. Upon votes, they could allow new states to join to this system. What exactly the central, united government is, and whether it is just a weak uniter or a stronger federal government, depends on the states that join together and draft a constitution.
It would be a giant nation made of different nations, controlled by many different people, with different points of views. It would actually be quite interesting. All willing nations would most to a created region, privately draft a constitution, and then have our own elections, congress, etc. We don't even need an executive branch as long as we have a legislative branch. This experement would be perfect.
Of course, no one would be able to be in the United Nations because the central government needs to be the only influencing power (no other alliances either). That means that you may have to, like me, create another nation to be involved in this experiment. The only alliances this group would have is alliances it makes as a whole body (decided by congressial votes). Only one nation may be involved per person to make sure that no one can sway votes by too much. There would be IP checks to make sure that you don't have a second nation. Any such violations would get you disqualified to join. We would, of course, create private forums for only members of the organization.
More rules, restrictions, etc. will be decided by the constitution or its later ammendments. If you sound interested, please post here. Until we organize a region and forums, this thread will be for discussions.
