Today, from orders passed down from First Speaker Anna Frateli, the final union in Imitora, the Fraternal Order of the Military, was desolved. This union's main purpose was to garter support for financially disadvantage retired and current military personel. Further the FOM offered insurance beneifits to military personel who were unapplicable for insurance. The FOM, however, is believed to have been the cuase of recent 'softness' in the military. Therefore, the FOM, being the final existing Union in Imitora, has been added to the list of outlawed services in Imitora. This includes all other Unions, as well as organizations that in some way inhibit the abilities and/or success of Imitoran corporations and organizations.

While the military as yet to release a statement on the matter, the FOM has denounced the government, but has not released an official statement on how their funds will be handled.

Further, Executive Addendum 2254 has initiated a new form of military draft. EA2254 states that, at the age of 18, all males and females that have demonstrated physical qualities that are above the current average, and demonstrate loyalty and leadership qualities will be drafted into the military services of Imitora. There will be no discharges from the current standing forces based on this.

Further, EA2254 stated that the genetics engineering program known as SPARTAN III will be reinstated, and all draftees will undergo genetic modification and bioimplants. It should be noted that a scaled down version of SPARTAN III, known as TROY III will be administered to all current memebers of the Imitora Military.

Finally, EA 2254 will not prohibit enlistment of persons not drafted, however, enlisted personel will, most likely, get non combatant status, and moved to another portion of the military.

Today, more signed Executive Actions were released from the desk of Anna Fratelli. While these actions seem to be pulling away from her promise of a more progressive Imiotra, she still holds well to her promise of a more open Imitora, with recent extensions of diplomacy to as of yet unnamed nations. Further, tensions among displaced military personel in Southern Imitora have been seen recently. The following is a list of the most recent Executive Actions.

EA2258-The decomishing of all Northampton class Stealth Assault Frigate. The bill, unlike those of the past, contains no information of what will happen to the 46,000 displaced sailors of the Imitora Space Navy. Even more so, it denies that the 46,000 displaced sailors will be part of the Northampton II class Stealth Assault Frigates. Finally, it confirms that all Northampton class ships are now open for sale.

EA2259-The official recognition of the Northampton II class Stealth Assualt Frigate as a new ship in the Imitoran Space Navy. Further, EA2250 confirms that the three test ships of the class, the Machiavelli, Thracymachus, and Cephalus as decomishioned for combat duty, but not for testing duty. Further, it says that all sales procedes from the Northamptons will go toward the Northampton II program. Construction on the first five ships, the Pillar of Autumn, Winter's Strength, Foe Hammer, Truth and Reconciliation, and Brutus' Revenge has already begun. Further plans of direct government funded ships include the Fall of Babylon, Death of Ceaser, and Athena's Pride.

EA2262-Declares that all persons of suitable origin will be conscripted for training as crews aboard the Northampton II class Stealth Assault Frigates.

As of yet, there is no word about how these bills will effect the life of those formally of the Imitoran Space Navy's Northampton fleet. However, with the displacement of this many personel, along with the results of EA2254, it can be assumed that as of yet, 90,000 former members of the Imitora Armed Services have been discharged without benifits.

ic: Obscure bureacrats bagan to ponder the significance of such actions and almost passed it along the chain of command but decided to eat thier lunch instead. Special sauce was smeared all over the page as it was crumpled into a ball and the folder accidently misplaced.

The talk of the day was how the conservatives could completely reorganize the bureacracy if elected and they would actually have to keep legitimate records.

The Grand Republic of Fultonia would like to send word that the complete abolition of unions within your nation is devestating to your economic structure and it's national well being. The give and take of management and worker is what keeps a thriving economy possible. In order to have stable but low salaries unions must exist. For without unions you trust corporatiosn to properly run wage structures, which cannot be done. We urge you to reinstates unionization to create a more free and equitable society. Hopefully we can convene an economic summit after a new leader is installed in the Grand Republic.

Minister Wheatly,

I understand your concern, but we have had nothing but problems with unions and the like in Imitora. They are but a communist revolution waiting to happen, and it is in our best interest to make sure that doesn't happen. I see your argument, but we also believe in the freedom of the corporation, and the use of unions keep that freedom from them. However, an economic summit is a good idea, and we look forward to it.

Yet another line of EAs slid into the work today. While most of them were rather unimportant, such as EA2269, in which the First Speaker signed off on a contract between the ICIA and UMAC to purchase a number of UMAC made versions of the Sig-Saur P226 (designated the P226I) chambered in .40 S&W, others were more significant.

Mainly speaking, Fratelli signed off on EA2270. EA2270 confirms the delivery of control of five of the decomishioned Northampton class Stealth Assault Frigates, four Phikiea class Interceptors, an Infinity class Patrol ship, and four Halcyon class Cruisers to the government of Fultonia. Further, EA2270 names three more planned Northampton II class ships: The Death of Socrates, The Quiet Destiny, and The Fake Sound of Progress.

Fratelli also signed off on EA2271, which officialy recognizes the war in Aubania as ended, with the ceasation of major combat engagements. However, it does not call for a cease fire nor an end to conflict in the region. Reports from the front indicate that another full tank platoon, 75 M1A5s, have been ordered into action, and over flights of the capital city Au are still behing held.
