Old time hockey, now in its seventh incarnation. and much more active than the real NHL, damn their eyes.

You know the drill- sign up to play. If you want to host, say the word.

Iansisle will, against its better judgement, sign up again*.

*assume regal bearing*

After all, we cannot rest until the Greenlarders have been even MORE thoroughly crushed beneath our iron heel.

* - some sources, including the Star-Tribune, report that this decision may acutually be WITH Iansisle's better judgment. Further reports as developments warrent.

The Cassowaries will be there with bells on.

Won't that hurt their aerodynamics?

Yeah, I know. Everyone hates a literalist. :P

Does the cassowary look aerodynamic? ;)
Iansisle

Put anything on ice - a cassowary, emu, dodo bird, or rhinoceros - and bang! It's aerodynamic!

Unless you put bells on it.

I'm already going through severe Cherry Cup withdrawls. So YOU - that's right, you reading this! - need to sign up NOW!

Would you really want my death on your hands? I didn't think so.

EDIT: Unless you're one of the ones who has already signed up. In that case, may the blessings of Don Cherry be with you, my son.

Heck, why not. Couple of trolls should bash the opposition. (if only I can be bothered to invent a roster with four rows of mineral names...)

Yes. I screwed up in CC5. God, shut the hell up about it. It's getting old.

I don't know why, but I have a certain affinity for Cherry Cup 5.

Oh, right.

Yes. I screwed up in CC5. God, shut the hell up about it. It's getting old.

To be sure, you were the one who brought up Cherry Cup V. Iansisle has a rivalry with Starblaydia - ergo, I mentioned that "things are the way they should be" because Iansisle was higher ranked than their adversary.

So really. Stop harping on about Cherry Cup V or assuming that everything I say is a direct allusion to it. God, just shut the hell up. It's getting old.

Slaytaniccans are generally too lazy for professional sports. However, a group of our finest ice hockey players, calling themselves the "Slaytanic Dodgems", wish to enter and we will endorse and recognise them as our national team, if you accept their entry.

Your system looks pretty good, however, I would like to make one suggestion.

Instead of ranking returning teams 10th and rookie teams 11th like this:
10. all other returning teams
11. all rookie teams

Rank returning teams 10th and give rookie teams a rank equal to the amount of signed up nations. For example, if 20 nations sign up:
10. all other returning teams
20. all rookie teams

That will help prevent freak upsets of top 10 teams by newcomers, and make the cup more realistic.

Sliponia
25-11-2004, 15:04
If this does happen, Sliponia will enter it's top club team, the Blue Springs Wildcats. They debuted internationally in Cherry Cup V, I believe. Either way, Sliponia will be making it's return to international hockey!

If nothing happens pretty soon, I may just take the reigns. I'll actually get something going, whether it's CC7 or "CC7a". And I'll do it Cup format, not repeat the disaster of CC5.
