This thread is a reproduction of a Telegram that was just sent to all KIST (http://s7.invisionfree.com/KIST/) signatories. The purpose is to provide everyone with some updates on what is being planned for the Knootian International Stabilisation Treaty.

The list of nations that have ratified the KIST treaty has quietly grown over a period of time. At the moment of this writing, we can boast about 65 signatories.

-Rotterdam Summit
A summit will be hosted in Rotterdam on closer cooperation between treaty states with the idea of increasing cooperation between states in some areas such as promoting fusion power. (Of course, all of this is on a voluntary and intergovernmental basis.) The summit is intended for KIST signatories, but it is open to all states who wish to attend provided they have a serious interest in participating. There is an opening proposal by Knootian negotiators. Your nation is warmly invited to attend.

A lot of you have posted in the Pinned Topics, but not everyone by far. It would be nice to learn some more about each others ports and stations, levels of participation and cultural exchange programmes. You can post too!

- NSWiki!
NSWiki, as some of you may have heard, is an initiative by the Goobergunchia player to make an open-content online encyclopaedia for NationStates. So far it has been a HUGE success with almost 1300 pages now in just a few weeks. Of course, KIST has its own entry. :) (Which everyone may add to, of course) I can recommend everyone to check this out!

One of the categories in NSWiki deals with corporations in role-play. For those less-inclined to go and dive into the encyclopaedia, you can list your corporations on the board and I’ll Wikify them for you. That way, we also get an overview of KIST corporations.
