Ooklium is a small isle of 100 miles in all, in a strategic part of Earth where in the North it is very cold and mountainous, whereas in the south it is hot and full of lush forests!In the west we have very hot desert lands, and in the east it is seasonal, and it probably the most devolped of all.
There are 4 clans in Ooklium that votes in a new President every 4 years with unlimited amount of terms. The current president comes from the clan of Aki and is from the eastern region of Ooklium.
The regions are Aki (East), Sunni (South), Boodah (West), and Chiliti (North).
The populations in each region reflects upon its involvement in the government.
Aki (2,000,000 2004 est.)
Sunni (1,500,000 2004 est.)
Boodah (500,000 2004 est.)
Chiliti (1,000,000 2004 est.)
There is a 500 person parliament. The president is the 51st vote in case a tie ever occured.
200 from Aki, 150 from Sunni, 50 from Boodah, and 100 from Chilita. The military is only 5% of the population, extra weaponry shall be divided among clans equally for their provincial forces to man.
The capital of Ooklium is Bashi, and it's located in the center of the country, only a passage guide will be able to bring you here, becauase as the world is cruel in some parts, secrecy is our only hope!
We want to be more modern, don't get us wrong! Our military wears tribal uniforms with old weaponry, and our Parliament building is made like a tree house within the environment!
People voting is encouraged, but not mandatory at all. You might think of us as strongly religious, but no. We believe in ourselves, and your personal beliefs shall not be an issue!
