It has been a hundred year, and the clouds and the earth still reel from the onslaught of the skyships, the ethercannon, the thaumaturgs. I watch the red glowworms dance, wind their way across the silent obelisks of adiamantite in the depths of night. Shadows blot out the stars; they dare not cross the boundaries we have set, not yet. What we have done...should not be repeated......never again. The price of ambition has been high enough.

If the recent detonation of the FLUX weapn by Harmonia Mortus is a sign, I suspect that several more nations will develop FLUX weaponry in the coming decades. We can counter this by forming out own FLUX stockpile, or by ensuring that no nation will seriously consider employing such weaponry.

The room was lit by great skylights of patterned stresglass. Fluffy clouds drifted above. The ventilation system hummed, lightly, keeping the interior temperature at seventy degrees farenheit even as the outside air reached a sweltering one hundred and twenty.
Now, the four men and three women sat at the conference table of Southport Perimeter Control's meeting room. They had decided, after a long time, that they culd no longer simply watch. The containment field was failing, even with the best thaumaturgs available working on the problems. They would invite foreigners, outlanders, to observe and perhaps offer suggestions. It would be dangerous, of course; FLUX was always dangerous.
Three kilometers from Southport Perimeter Control, black adiamantite obelisks stood, forming a complete circle around the destroyed city, extending into the ocean and the middle of the great River Wye.

After one hundred years, the Tower will be organizing an oficial international
expedition into the Southport containment site. As some of you may be
aware, Southport has been the site of massive FLUX and realSpace
disrpution. With an increasing number of nations developing FLUX weapory,
the Kingdom of Weyr and The Tower feel that it is necessary for other nations
to observe the effects of such weaponry, especialy when employed in
urban areas.
Interested parties should arrive at the Southport Perimeter Control within
ten days. Please be advised that the Kingdom of weyr cannot take
responsiblity for any damages or harms incurred during this expedition into the FLUX field.
