PNN Update: Commander Knightly murdered!
Today the body of Commander Joshua Knightly was found in Paladin city. He was killed by a sword through his heart even though he had been stabbed once and his hands were pinned with knives. Though the strangest thing is that finger prints on the sword match that of Commander Joshua Maxwell who was killed almost twenty years ago. Currently a funeral will be held for the commander in Paladin city's art district's Memorial Art Center.
Joshua Knightly was a hero to the people for his work and a close friend to president Echo Maxwell.

Three days later
The entire remaining first generation elite core stood around the corpse of there sharpshooter. Of the core only Eric, Alice, and Phoenix were left. Alice was growing old and was no longer in the field while Eric was still one of the most respected covert ops commanders in the AE core. Phoenix hadn't been in the field since the last civil war and had been working as a military advisor. "He said he'd live forever. And that death wouldn't stop him," Eric said quietly. Outside the room Amber Knightly and Echo Maxwell sat on one of the couches. Both were crying. Joshua had been Echo's best friend and he had been Ambers protector since the alter attack.

Else where...
"Is it done?" the voice over the phone asked. "Yes. He was scared untill he died. Though you were right he was a challenge. A chalenge I enjoyed."
"Good report to the center and you can prepare for your next mission." With that the figure closed the phone and began walking out of the shadows towards the streets. He flagged down a cab and got in. "Where to?" "The council building please." "Ya you got...hey has anyone said you look alot like that dead guy....Joshua Maxwell?" "Ya I get that alot."

Ravelyn had remained in the corner of the room throughout the ceremony. She wore a black cloak which concealed her identity very well. The only thing that was showing was a glimpse of her red lips. She had waited until the others had gone, or turned away before she approached him. She placed her hand on the side of Joshua’s cheek and traced her fingertips along his jaw-line. Her head hung, and she bent down close to him. Interlocking her hand in his, she let a silver chain slip into his palm. A drop of water fell upon his cheek, or was it a tear?

She turned away from him, and inhaled uneasily. Something…is not right. There is foul play in this… She walked into the other room where people were talking softly; some crying. Joshua was strong…strong enough to bother Qui. It would take a lot to kill him…even if they’ve been dead for a few decades. I’ve been dead a lot longer than a few decades…and he still could be a challenge.…

“Whoever killed my childer,” she said softly, knowing well who was in the room, “is in for a rude awakening.” She left the room, throwing back the doors in an obvious discontent. The doors hit against the wall as they parted, shaking as they swung back closed behind her. It was raining outside, though only lightly. She pushed back the hood of her cloak. Her cheeks were flush with anger. She watched as a cab drove by, her eyes meeting the passengers. She turned away, and began to walk in the opposite direction.
