The Bribery World Cup is a tournament for capitalists looking to test their skills (or for anti-capitalists that want to do something about their political prisoners). Each match consists of a 90-minute regulation period, followed by extra bribes and penalty bribes if the match is tied. Each side has a team of 11 players attempting to score points by appropriately bribing the uber-bribemeister. (The exact details are not specified, allowing creative RPing.) Matches will be played in a venue (preferably a stock exchange) of the host's choice, except when a nation has provided a venue in their nation, including a short description for RPing (and possibly modification of the score generation to reflect some unique effect that the venue might have on gameplay - for example, a match played in a swamp might eliminate the experience factor).

Depending on the number of signups, the tournament will consist of either 16 or 32 teams. A 16-team double-elimination tournament will determine the winner, preceded by 8 qualifying groups of 4 teams if 32 teams participate. Scores will be generated by a randomized spreadsheet based on ranks. Ranks are determined based on per-capita GDP (according to NSEconomy (http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/)), tax rate, and performance in BWC1. The spreadsheet will be controlled by the host (if nobody else wants to host, I will), who will also decide who the uber-bribemeister is. The host nation's scores will be generated by a neutral party to be determined by the host.

To sign a team up for BWC2, post in this thread stating that you are signing up. Optionally, include your team's home stadium (as specified above) and/or state that you are entering a hosting bid. If there are multiple hosting bids, the World Capitalizt Committee (all previous BWC hosts - right now, me) will determine the host.

Commerce Heights will enter its team, the Capitalizts, in Bribery World Cup 2.
Home Stadium: Commerce Heights Stock Exchange
The CHSE is one of the largest stock exchanges in the world, allowing plenty of room for spectators to watch matches. Because of the nation's strong economic opinions, bribery fans can become extremely agitated when a socialist nation is performing well.
(OOC: GDP/tax portion of rank may be slightly increased for matches played here.)
If no other bids are entered, the Commerce Heights Bribery Association (recently merged with the CHSE's bribery team) will host the Cup.
