OOC: And to be the only OOC comment. All others in the OOC thread. The storyline will be the same, but lets start with my blacking out. Richard Starbuck (Golden Simitar), Crassus Marcus (Griffon Lord), Andrew Vincent (Imoria), and Lujza Batory (Callisdrun) located, near a coffee shop, in an alleyway discussing what should be done with the human, Richard. My character will be where original our cast was with Seviraloth (High Orc) and Karnath Kal'Dregan (Revenia) at the point of when Alexis is thrown at Karnath and then blacks out. As for David (Cyberutopia) repost the attack and then it can easily be intergrated into the story and then we don't have to backtrack on that. Theoden Fenrir (Valient), Avant Crusade (FCN), and Virgil "Berserk" Enk (Sigma Octavus) can all be at the house Avant is at in their meeting. As for Thomas Carson (Rasvar) (Alaqria) I assume you will still be observing the vampires and lychans from your standpoint in the last story. And Pavel Andreyev (Chardonay) will be still two hours outside Moscow and on his way into the story. If someone does not like this arrangement let me know by TG or in the OOC thread. Thank you. Here is the list of people in the story.
Alexis Mera (AmandaTheGreat)-vampire Death Dealer

Crassus Marcus (Griffon Lord)-vampire Elder

Andrew Vincent (Imoria)-vampire Death Dealer

Virgil "Berserk" Enk (Sigma Octavus)- lychan

Thomas Carson (Rasvar) (Alaqria)-human occupied by demon

Theoden Fenrir (Valient)-lychan

Lujza Batory (Callisdrun)- vampire

Avant Crusade (FCN)- lychan

Seviraloth (High Orc)-high orc

Richard Starbuck (Golden Simitar)-human

Karnath Kal'Dregan (Revenia)-justicar

Pavel Andreyev (Chardonay)-vampire

David (Cyberutopia)-vampire

Alexis' eyes rolled under her closed eyelids. It was still dark out, but the dark soon be chased away by the sun's rays. Her head pounded and felt as if an elephant had decided to sit on it. It just hurt to think about opening her eyes. She tried to remember what happen. She couldn't feel her body. Numbness surrounded her. She rolled her head to her left and felt something soft, but firm stop from further turning. Then her senses kicked in, she felt arms holding her up. I am in someone's arms. She searched her memory and it all came back. That man attacked her and her strength had been all, but used up. She opened her eyes and saw another man. Not remembering him at all. She flipped over backwards and out of his arms. Drawing a semi-automatic pistol from her side and pointed it at him, keeping another eye on Seviraloth. Her mouth dried, she felt as if she had to pry her lips open.

"Who are you?" Eyes narrowed. All senses estatic.

Karnath stared down the barrel of a pistol. Another man would have snarled his defiance, Karnath smiled. Yes, it was -that- smile. That predatory, self-assured, entirely all-too confident smile.

"First rule, princess. If you're gonna point at me, you better use it. If you don't, I'm liable to get annoyed. So. Shoot Me."

"No, I believe you have the first rule wrong." Her upper british accent spilling out the words.

"Rules are meant to be broken and I hardly like to follow them. But the rule would be to assess the oponent and the need to use it. You give me no need as of yet. I am curious to who you are."

Her eyes shifted a bit and then it dawned on her. Oh of course. "Justicar?"

"I presume, by your egocentric ideas and snotty attitude."

He was not her problem. Or was he, now that she approached the situation wrong. My senses have been let down since that bump on the head. She shook her head softly and her hair followed like a shadow.

"If I were to shoot you, especially where my aim is. Even you could not regenerate from a shot in the head." She did not smirk at this, but realized he was just fearless or knew her motives, which were not to kill him.

Richard still tried to figure out what was happening. He was surrounded by vampires, and Andrew still wanted to either shoot Richard or have him for a meal. It was hard to tell what Crassus thought, or the other vampires.

Right now the female vampire named Lujza seemed to be someone he could trust, to a certain extent. She seemed a kind and careing person, but then he had some visions of her ripping out his throat and feasting on his blood. This thought sent shivers down the man's spine.

"So...uh...Lujza, how long have you been a vampire?"
Callisdrun
12-10-2004, 00:08
Surprised and confused by the question, Lujza still gave her reply. "Um... since I was born... why do you ask?" This human was a strange one, a very strange one. Still, she did not want Andrew to make him dinner. This man had already been through so much, and he was obviously fighting, though ineptly, for something very deep in him. Also, Lujza greatly disapproved of Andrew being such a glutton.

Richard shrugged. Though she looked as though she was in her early to mid twenties, he guess her to be a few hundred years old.

"Dunno, I'm a curious type. I'm 25, if you wish to know."

He thought at least some small talk might keep his mind from images of him being made a meal of.
Callisdrun
12-10-2004, 00:34
"Well, I was born into the Batory family, so I've never been anything but a vampire. I am 24, a real youngster among this bunch." She said, gesturing to those around her.
The Golden Simatar
12-10-2004, 00:40
Richard knew there was something different about this vampire, maybe his perecption of her killing him was wrong. But he was still very cautious and kept an eye on the other vampires, most notably Andrew.

"You also seem to be more level headed then the rest. If you don't mind me asking, why do you seem to care about my life? I mean, I'm just food to your kind."
Callisdrun
12-10-2004, 01:02
Picking up on what he meant, Lujza said "Do you mean my kind in a general or specific sense? Because whether that is true or not changes depending on whether you mean all Vampires or the ones of my kind." Noticing Richard's worried glances, she added "and I really do apologize for Andrew's rudeness, I really can't believe that he's already hungry after just feeding."
The Golden Simatar
12-10-2004, 01:14
Richard smiled at her and thought about what he was going to say. For one second he thought if she wasn't a vampire, he might be inclined to ask her out. This idea was also crushed when he thought of his late wife.

"Well, all I know is that vampire suck human blood and....well....that seems to say enough for me that most vampires don't care one way or the other about human life. You don't have to apologize for him, some people are just thick-headed jerks."
Callisdrun
12-10-2004, 01:38
"Well, perhaps that is sad. I have my reasons. Some human life is worthy, some is not. Just because we must drink human blood for sustainence does not mean we are evil. I just fed, and I must admit I indulged myself, but I did not kill anyone, though my source is now in a coma. You humans harm and kill in order to live. Life feeds on life." She did not think that just because she fed on human blood that she was evil. No, she was evil for different reasons. She waited for him to process her comment as it got lighter. The horizon in the east glowed like fire as sunrise neared.

"Well, we humans do to things really well in life, kill each other and make babies. The one thing mankind has prefected. I've killed one man in my life, I try my best to not to kill, but conflict is sometimes unavoidable."

Richard began to feel a bit more comfortable with this vampire. Then he remembered one thing about them, they hated sunlight. Richard looked at the brighting sky, took off his jacket, and wrapped it around Lujza.

"Here, you might need this."

He turned to the other vampires who also noticed the sky very slowly turned from black to a dark blue. It would be day in an hour or two.

"You guys might wanna get back to you home. Mr. Marcus." Richard handed the vampire a pieace of paper. "My cell number, call if you wanna talk."

Karnath smiled his predatory smile. "Ahh, so now we get to the point."

He blurred. There really was no other description. It wasn't just that he was ungodly fast, which, he was. It was that he seemed to be everywhere at once. Which, coincidentally, he also, was.

So, it should come as no surprise that Alexis found herself disarmed. When things cleared, Karn was perched ontop of some object to Alexis' right.

"Primus, There are no guarantees that I couldn't survive a headshot. Secundus, the likelihood of you managing to get that shot off is obviously low. Tertius, you shouldn't be pointing weapons at me, in the first place."

"As for who I am..."

He sprang down from his perch, executed a perfect pivot on his toe, directly into a sweeping bow. "Justicar Karnath Kal'Dregan, The Trickster Lord, at your service."

12-10-2004, 04:28
Alexis was quite aware of the capabilities of a justicar. She was not amazed and did not show any change in his effect. She merely nodded her head at him. "I have done my research. I am aware of your abilities. Yet, you seem to think you are not without flaw. Even your ways have mistakes and loop holes for us to get into. I am alittle disappointed as it seems you have not researched our coven here in London. If you would have, you would have realized who exactly I am."

She paused. She did not understand Karnath's mentality, she would get to the bottom of that. She cocked her head, strands of hair falling into and in front of her eyes, as though her eyes appeared all black now. "Or maybe this is your game to test us. I am not sure why you would do this."

She took a step sideways, allowing the orc to be even more in view of both of them. "However, you have some sort of rapport with this man and I need to know what exactly he is and to what benefit I can have conversing with him and what he wants in return."

A slight smile, the heavens must have split and hell from have cooled one degree, and then she spoke once more. "Justicar Karnath Kal'Dregan, The Trickster Lord, I am very pleased to meet your finally. I am Alexis Mera, ambassador to the House of what I call the Dead, and also commandor of the Death Dealers." She extended her hand to Karnath.

"At my service? We shall discuss that indeed."

OOC: Reposting.

When Surrounded and outnumbered, Seviraloth did the only intelligent thing: Retreated. As the eight illusions. The High orc leapt up over six feet vertically, against the wall of the building, kicking off it to send him to the other wall, and continued this practice until he had scaled it and back onto the roof.

He kneeled, but for a moment to let his equilibrium subside and gaze across his surroundings. Something was off about this. There were supernatural predators about in this realm. Things from the likes of Hades and Dyval, the two Daemonic Realms of Palladium. Perhaps they were Fiends, or Arch-Fiends. He couldn't be sure, but he wasn't going to find out now. Survival took hold of everything else, and he would need to insure that he would survive.

Seviraloth took off, hopping along the rooftops, leaping from chimney's to chemical exhaust pipes. His feet were heavy in his step, and he did not look back. His muscles in his legs flexed and stretched as he propelled himself in the air to cross the wide gaps between buildings. After nearly a kilometer of running, Seviraloth had not only managed to leap from building, to building, but had climbed up nearly 13 stories into the air. He slowed down as he climbed up an apartment complex, build in ragged brick, with windows barred. He looked around once, before walking to the roof entrance, the door bolted with a pad lock. Seviraloth just rammed his shoulder into it with a running start, putting nearly a ton of force into the attack, the door blowing inward. However, it was too much and Seviraloth found himself lying on it as it surfed down a single flight of stairs, then into a wall. The Orc slid down the door and his head slammed directly into the wall.

Without a helmet, he sustained a concussion and blacked out.

He shrugged. "Neither test nor lack of research. Likewise, never have I stated that I am an individual without flaw. I have merely stated a rule that I only wished all would follow. Would make life much easier."

He paused, then continued. "I seriously doubt that your 'research' into myself would have turned up much. Rumors, perhaps. Little else. Regardless."

At this point he shook her hand. His grip was firm, but not crushing. He had no need to establish his superiority over others. The fact that he held the office of Justicar did that well enough, no matter how much he would have wished that it did not.

He released her hand after a few moments, then turned about, as if surveying.

"Well, then. Seems to me that we should get moving. Where to, oh gracious Death Dealer?"

David was not getting what he wanted from the espionage he was conducting on the strange creature and the female deathdealer atop the building. Something whispered, low and seductive, in the back of his mind. The bone structure of what was once his wings spread out in all it's perfct ivory glory, and a transparent blue membrane weaved from arcane majiks linked the bones.

The vampire launched himself backwards and snapped his wings open just before he scraped along the pavement. He dipped down a few milimeters lower than he intended, the result of the alien feel of the customized .50 Raptors that rested to each side of him. A small mistake, but he would not stand for less than perfection, especially for himself. His demon's conciousness stretched out in front of him, and David planned his next move. He fought like a chess player, playing several moves in the future even before the match had started. He watched the young Callisdrunian vampire fight while he was still speeding towards her. No finesse, no subtley. What a waste of a vampire.

The two hundred kilometers an hour he was averaging gave him about one and a fifths seconds before he reached Luzja. The blade slid out of his left forearm, but he kept the right retracted. Rashel's celestial energies washed off of the exposed blade, her only outlet into the world now.

Half a second to impact.

The moon gleamed dully off of the eighteen inches of ancient steel, Infernal runes tracing their sadistic curves along the length of the blade.

Third of a second.

His wings beat fiercely, acclerating his slim figure even further. His right hand moved back in preperation. He could see the next move now...

The hand would shoot forwards as his wings made minor corrections. It would clamp onto the Callisdrunian's skull like an inexorable vice and carry her into the wall a few meters away, raining shattered concrete onto the sidewalk. It would hopefully stun her and those around her, and he could deal with the other deathdealers.

David doubted she could dodge in time, from what he had seen so far.

After Richard's comment, Lujza heard the disturbance in the air behind her. Her eyes widened in terror before she spun around. She had heard of strange beasts that flew in the sky, and whatever was bearing down on her was huge. Reacting in a way that she had been trained to since childhood, she twirled around in a blur, simultaneously whipping out her axe, that she had already had her hand on. In an instant, it was in front of her face, directly in the path of the oncoming claw. The reaction had taken a mere fourth of a second. It was sometimes good to be somewhat paranoid.

David spun hard, inverting his flight and bringing the extended blade into line with Luzja's axe. The holy energy surged through it and was released as a blinding flash as metal clashed, ringing through the early dawn air. The intense force built up by David's acceleration set painful vibrations shimmering up and down the axe handle. The vampire ricocheted off of the wall behind the Callisdrunian and hit the asphalt. He rolled and came up at and even distance between Crassus and Andrew, one of the .50 Raptors pointed squarely at Crassus' chest, the infernal blade taunting Andrew from afar, the point humming quietly with a charge of celestial energies.

The axe vibrated intensely, however, it had been built to absorb tremendous amounts of shock in the hey-day of Callisdrunian melee weapon building by Batory artisans, so while the vibration was forceful, Lujza maintained control of the axe, and quickly turned toward the thing, assuming a defensive posture. The strange flying vampire creature had underestimated her agility, a predictable mistake considering her penchant for messiness when feeding.

David pondered for a moment.

'How do you pacify a vampire? The same way you do a lychan, don't fuel them with anger. It's funny, two species that are so similiar fighting each other. It's similar to the human infighting. We are supposed to be better than the humans!'

"I want you to stop fighting the lychans, it's unnecessary, and it's making my job way harder." He said simply and plainly to the surrounding deathdealers.

As Seviraloth lay in unwanted dreamscape, the second wave occured. It would be foolish to send a lone agent into the jungles of humanity and expect for any survival at all. Too many things could go wrong. Even with the proper trainingand equipment, it's just too big of a risk. It would require a team, and the Clans were sending a fellow Juggernaut of the Red Blade. As the dimensional barriers wore thin, and another rift tore open, lightning streaming from the crackling blue energies of the tear in time-space, a second High Orcish Knight stepped out, surnamed Zaliseth Lothigo. Zaliseth was a grunt in the Juggernaut Squad like Seviraloth, but a rookie in many regards to his experience because of his age. He wasn't as tall, or as strong, as Seviraloth, but he was fiercely dedicated. Unlike Seviraloth, Zaliseth had initiate-level knowledge of the inner-workings of invocations. He almost qualified for Priesthood of Lopnel before applying to join Riga's elite team.

The High Orc, dressed fondly in a crimson plate mail, sans helmet, stepped on the asphalt, as the portal had ripped him a doorway directly on a low-traffic road. Zaliseth wore the heavy armor with pride, and though it penalized his flexibility and over-all movement, he enjoyed the greater protection and damage capacity he could take, furthering his stay in the fray. His Skell gauntlets were tight on his hands with blades retracted, and he surveyed his surroundings after checking his equipment. Unlike Seviraloth, Zaliseth packed three days of rations, mostly dried out salted Dorn meat slabs from the Clan of Dorn Riders. He also carried with him, along his back, a Cloak of Shadows, a gift from the Dripping Fang, and and a kite shield strapped under it, polished clean to be able to mirror the reflection of his opponents and bend light to blind foes from the Blazing Hammer. The Tunnel Crawlers had gifted him with a mining pick of pure silver, which he kept hanging from his belt, and the last gift, from Trabian Riil himself, was a scroll to summon a Flame Friend, a fragmented fire elemental essence, that Zaliseth could use but once, and for a very limited duration.

Zaliseth Lothigo pounded his tough plated chassis once to signify his readiness. He could smell blood about, but it was not Orcish Blood. The lone Knight trudged, somewhat loudly, to follow his nose.

Alexis starred off in the distance. The sounds of morning beckoned from the birds. The sun would be rising and they would need rest. They would deal with the orc at a later time. She did not know of his kind and it seemed Karnath did. She looked at him, up and down. She sighed. This was something she wanted to be, this is something she worked to be. Natural or not she would learn something from him by mere observation.

Wind came and bit at her hair. She closed her eyes. They could search more, but what was the use. This city was so big and who would know where to start now. The pits or would he change scenaries.

She turned her attention to the sarcastic figure near her. "Well, let me take you to where I call home."

I am sure someone would like to meet you, but I want you for myself first.

They walked along and shortly there after were in front of the gates. She looked to him. "This way."

She took him around the back and slipped through the metal bars. They walked toward the garages and into the back. The guards would think nothing of the sort. She would just have to avoid the commons. She navigated him through the building and into a small study room. She sat down infront of a computer labtop and motioned for him to join her.

"This is what we do for now." Why she began the search engine of their coven's information gathered she would question him, before Crassus got the chance to. Her thoughts came of Andrew, he would want to be here. Where is he?

She looked up from the keyboard and at Karnath. "So, what of this orc do you know?"

David stared momentarily at the revolver-wielding figure that had just hollered at him, and a slight smile broke out on his pale lips. This foolish man was purely human, by his scent. Meanwhile, the mystical membrane that composed the majority of his wings flickered a few times before fading, erasing the blue tint around him. He held up his hands, the Raptor dangling uselessly by the trigger guard from a finger.

"Slight problem there." He said, the cracked smile still mocking Richard. "Y'see this here sword? It's kinda part of me...I really can't put it down, sorry. I will make your life a lot easier and a lot longer by disarming you, though."

He fell into a low, almost cat-like crouch, and his gun hand came into line with the revolver. The heavy pistol was cocked to the side, while a small needle shot from one of the many slots in his armor. The black needle slid effortlessly down the revolver's barrel before expanding, sending metallic barbs jutting through the barrel at all angles, rendering it all but useless.

Richard droped the revoler and snapped back with the Uzi. Resting the butt in his shoulder he aimed it at David. Since he was somewhat fired upon Richard pulled back the charger handle. David's chest filled the sights. Should of been a good boy.

The machine pistol barked angerily, spitting 9mm slugs at David.

From the crouch, David could move even faster. The scarlet silk that wound about his figure trailed his movements for a fraction of a second, drifting into the path of Richard's bullets. For those who were keen enough to follow, in the millisecond following the bullets simply warped around the scarf, ruffling it with expanding air. The 9mm Parabellum harmlessly bit into the asphalt as the vampire lept over Richard, spinning artfully in midair.

David landed several meters away, and the magazine slid out of the Uzi's port a second later, clattering noisily to the ground.

One would say Richard's expression, when he saw his mag was out, was pricesless. He squeezed the trigger again, nothing. Hearing a thump behind him he spun on David and felt his knee hit something. Looking down he saw the magizine. Picking it up with his hand he looked at it, he looked at the handgrip where it should be, and he looked at David, his face full of confusion.

There was a slight pause before he slapped it back in. Keeping the machine-pistol aimed squarly at David he would give him one more chance to put his hands up.

Richard kept the Uzi trained on David as he moved behind him. Confident the death-dealers would keep him covered he picked up some rope off the ground and quickly padded David down and removed his pistols and some small blades. Bringing the vampire's arms behind him Richard began to tie them together.

"I hope you understand for assualting a United States police officer, you're gonna be tried in an American court, so I'll give ya your rights. You have the right to remain silent...."

'Ok, listen. Please don't be startled, and don't make any sudden movements. I let you arrest me on one condition. You convince the deathdealers to hold me in custody at their mansion for you, and once I'm out, I'll help you with whatever reason you're caught up in this mess. I really don't think you want to be here, and neither do I. I'm just trying to bring peace to this wretched city. That's appreciable, right? So what do you say? Richard moved David against the wall, and with the rest of the rope tied him to a post. He walked up to Lujza, she seemed the most sensible.

"Now, I'm not suppose to hurt suspects, now since you're not a police officer...do wish to interagate him?"

"Excuse me, but I fail to see how your 'show of force' is any different from a blatant attempt on my life." Lujza was not amused. She didn't see how this guy could say he hadn't tried to kill her. "Also, do not address me as a 'death-dealer.' I am not one."

(Terribly sorry about the lag in post time.)

Karnath frowned slightly, and thought for a few moments...

"An Orc, is it? Hmm. My best guess was some sort of over-sized Redcap or somesuch. Suffice to say that if you know what it was, you know more than I do."

He allowed himself to lean up against a wall, not particularly because he needed to, but because old habits died very, very hard. He exhaled slowly then, and finally, finally allowed himself to perhaps drop his guard just ever so slightly.

Which, given his normal level of alertness, wasn't saying much.

Everything was still dark, but Seviraloth could hear voices. It was like he was in a conscious coma, or an out-of-body experience. Life was going on, and he could sense everything, but couldn't do anything about it. It frustrated him, for it exposed his helplessness. He showed weakness. If he were to die, Lopnel would deny him entrance into Daka and would cease to exist. It was a fate most foul andfeared.

"What is it?" some girlish voice asked, perhaps a small boy.

"I don't know. Looks like some mutant.." an older, post-pubescent male voice answered.

"What do you think we should do with it?" the first voice came again.

"Maybe we should call the police," a third, feminine sound replied.

"All they'd do is take it away and probably kill it," the second voice commented. "We shouldn't let those corrupt S.O.B.'s do that. It's a living being."

"How do you know?" the woman's voice questioned.

"Look! It's breathing! That means it's A L I V E. You can see it's chest move up and down," the second said, with raised tone.

"It certainly doesn't look human," the high-pitched voice commented.

"Well, perhaps its one of those hobos. Maybe some company did human research experiments. After all, look at the face, it's all messed up," the masculine voice described.

Seviraloth felt his jaw open, though not by his own power.

"Wow! Look at this Will! All its teeth are..." the third voice exclaimed.

"Sharp as fangs," the second voice, named Will finished.

"...I think we should leave it," the first voice said, with a hint of fear.

"And leave it alone? No, let's get it inside and into my room," said Will.

Seviraloth felt a sense of weightlessness.

"Holy God! It weighs a ton!"

"I think it's a He," commented the feminine voice.

"How can you tell?" the girly-voice asked.

The feminine voice giggled. "Quite a He!"

Zaliseth checked the lunar movements. Dawn was approaching. He would have to be careful from being seen. Perhaps find a place to rest off the solar exposure. Nocturnal movements were key, and his first task would be to locate Seviraloth. After that, he would follow Seviraloth's own mission statement and aid him in anyway possible. He didn't mind being the other Knight's sidekick in this mission, for Seviraloth was a very gifted and talented Paladin of High Status. He found it an honor to work with him on this mission.

Zaliseth walked along the road, until his feet clanged against something quite hard and metal. It was a manhole cover, but he didn't know that. It was something circular and metal in the road. He noticed that it had a single hole, as if a key to a doorway to subterra. Zaliseth wasn't much for keys, but he enjoyed opening doors. He extended his right arm, the skell blade extending, and stabbed it into the manhole cover, and used his own strength to lift it up.

"Ahh, a tunnel system. Underground even. Perhaps the Humans have their own clan of Tunnel Crawlers," Zaliseth spoke. Unlike Seviraloth, Zaliseth was fluent in 8 languages: Orcish, Gobblely, Black Speech, Dragonese, Quenya, English HumanSpeak, German HumanSpeak, Latin HumanSpeak, Wolfen, and Dwarven. He was literate in all those languages, could read and write runes, wards, infuse magic scrolls, and inscribe ritual circles. He was the knowledgeable man in the Juggernaut squadron, perhaps aside from Zigokor, the High Priest, and perhaps that added to why he was picked on. Riga wasn't the smartest of Orcs, or perhaps he was, but enjoyed beguiling his intelligence with being a complete asshole. Zaliseth didn't know or care.

The hole seemed to be a tight fit. Zaliseth, in his armor, wouldn't fit all the way. Zaliseth shrugged, and took out the Mining Pick and began chunking out pieces of road and breaking the manhole to make it wider. It would take but half an hour, but Zaliseth would get it wide enough to enter.

David stared at Luzja and spoke with minor annoyance. "And you carry no eloquence, either. Are you going to continue on this meaningless track of circular, self-fufilling logic, deathdealer, or are you going to get somewhere today?"

David stared at Luzja and spoke with minor annoyance. "And you carry no eloquence, either. Are you going to continue on this meaningless track of circular, self-fufilling logic, deathdealer, or are you going to get somewhere today?"

"I want to know three things. First, what your motivation to make an attempt on my life was. Second, whether you think I'm so daft as to believe you when you say you had no intention to take my life or if the case is that your grasp of basic physics is so pathetic as to actually think that taking hold of my cranium and smashing me into a wall would not result in my death. Last, and least important though curious, why you keep calling me a 'death dealer.' Answer me those three things." Though Lujza was furious, the only hint of her anger was in her eyes, which seemed almost to burn. Her face was otherwise expressionless and cold. Now that the thing was in front of her, she had no fear of him. Lujza had already proven that she was faster.

Alexis spun around in her chair and faced Karnath. "You do not know of this creature. I was not able to get a good site of him, but his discription does not match anything that I am familar with. I had heard ions ago about them, but have had no contact with them. In fact they do not have much contact with anyone."
She frowned. "I may be wrong, maybe it is not an orc. Stories can be fuzzy when told and retold. However, we can continue the search on our feet. Let me contact Andrew and find out where he is and we will continue with more people."

She spoke to Andrew. "Hey bud, I have the justicar in my appearance right now. We are in search of a creature not known to us. Let's call it a research project. Search and learn. But might have to destroy. He was quite aggressive in my first meeting of him. Are you going to join us or are preoocupied with the fresh Lujza?"

David's eyes laughed at her – her futile attempts at anger and intimidation – and made her stomach twist and turn the longer she stared at him.

"I will say it once more. I want you and this deathdealer clult of yours to stop fighting the lychans. Your quarrels are pointless. Secondly, I have faced many powerful creatures in the past, and many of them would be able to shake off such a weak attack as I attempted. I merely assumed that you were a relatively hardy creature, but it seems I was proven wrong. It is always better to use too much force than too little. Lastly, why would I not address you as a deathdealer? Do I have any reason to believe you otherwise? No."

"The fact that you can't discern any difference between me and these others, in manner of dress, in accent, etcetera, makes me think you to be a very stupid creature, indeed. However, if you are willing to wait until the sun rises," she gestured with her head toward the light on the horizon, "one difference will become very apparent. I don't feel like standing here for fifteen minutes so that you can get it through your thick skull that I am a Callisdrunian. Until today I had never even heard of death dealers. I don't know how the accent wasn't a tipoff. Now, you've answered a bit, but I still don't see how smashing me into a wall would do anything but cause more animosity and bad feelings all around." Whatever this thing was, Lujza couldn't believe his arrogance. She could kill him on the spot if she wanted. In his place, she would be more humble.

"Richard, I need you to fetch something from a gas station." She whispered what she meant in his ear.

OOC: She told Richard to get a gas can. David doesn't know this.

Richard's eyes bulged slightly as Lujza whispered into his ear. He looked at the vampire for a few seconds before nodding. Getting his wallet from his jacket, which Lujza still had on, Richard took off for a gas station. After walking for perhaps ten mintues, he arrived at a small gas station. Getting a three gallon gas can, he filled it up and walked inside. He bought a Coke, book of matches, and paid for the gas and left.

After about another ten minutes he came back. Lujza was still staring at David, the deathdealers were simply watching. He put the gas can next to Lujza and handed her the matches. He opened his Coke and took a sip.

"Here is your gas Lujza, planning a BBQ?"
Callisdrun

"Thank you, Richard. Perhaps we'll have a barbecue, perhaps not." Turning to the creature, she said. "Now, let's see if we can be nice. Also, what is your name?"

"My dear friend, it is obvious you are a Callisdrunian." David told Luzja, voice dripping with acid. "You still appear, in all actions and intentions, to be in league with deathdealers. Therefore I consider you one. If you are so ignorant as to not be able to see things without all the personal facts from another's perspective, and make those same judgements and assumptions, then perhaps you should hand over my 'interrogation' – using that term in the loosest of ways – to another."

He turned his head to give Richard a sidelong glance and laughed. "Alright, so you're going to set me on fire. I love that plan. Burn through my ropes, and leave me free to smite all of you in a powerful rage, before moving on to obliterate the lychans. Yes, that's one way to play the game, but it is far from the best way."

OOC: Cyber, ATG I apologize to you both about this. Cyber, I’m sorry in advance for what I am about to do to David, but I feel it might be the one way to get the vamp side of the RP moving, please TG me or put any complaints on the OOC board. ATG, I’m sorry about doing an OOC post, but this will be my first and last.

IC:

Richard picked up the gas can and walked over to David. Richard just stared at David, before he raised the can. Instead of opening the cover and pour the gas on David, Richard swung down, striking David with all his might. David crumpled to the ground; Richard leaned close and heard the man breathing. He turned back and stared at Lujza.

“I think I knocked him out or dazed him quite a bit. You want to leave him here and find a place to hide before the sun fully rises, or take him somewhere?”

"We should put him somewhere secure. Unfortunately, I just got here today, and so I don't know what the best places would be. Perhaps we should take him back to the mansion and ask them what to do with him there." Lujza was relieved that the rude creature was unconcious. She looked east and squinted, the sun would be up in a matter of minutes.

Zaliseth leapt into the augmented manhole, aware of his surroundings. The sewage smell was absolutely awful, but it would provide quite the amount of safety. It was dark, with only sparse artificial lights down the long corridors as the green and yellow water sifted down the many tunnels in rivers. Zaliseth made sure to walk along the edges, as his shoes were porous, and could take in the water, and the smell, and would rarely be able to be clensed of such filth. Zaliseth found that the air was so obnoxious that his own heightened senses were dulled because of its sheer repugnance. This could be a potential problem.

He traveled through the sewers for a quarter mile until he found a dead end junction. This was where he would plant himself, and sleep through the day.

Richard untied David from the post and then retied his hands together. He tossed him over his shoulder and began to follow Lujza. It was only a few mintues after before something clicked in his head.

"Lujza, who lives in this mansion you were talking about?"

Richard paused and put David on the ground and brought the uzi to the ready. He stared for a few seconds before picking David up again and tossing him uncerimoniously over his shoulder. Calm down Richard, you're just a bit stressed He jogged quickly and caught up with Lujza. He scratched the back of his neck, where it hurt a bit.

Richard stopped dead in his tracks. He stared at Lujza, his mouth dropped wide open as he shook his head.

"No way. You expect me to carry this fella....into a building......filled with......vampires? Am I correct?"
Callisdrun
06-11-2004, 06:12
Lujza hadn't really thought about it. "Why... yes... why?" Seeing the look of worry on his face, she realized that he had good reason to be scared, he was a human after all. "Don't worry about it, I'll make watch out for you. You might have to act like your my... pet or something though."

After walking a little bit, she said "I think we should probably drive." The early morning sun brightly illuminated the dew on a nearby car. They were in a rather poor neighborhood, so Lujza doubted that a stolen car would be much news to the populace there. She quickly walked over and broke the window with her axe. After unlocking it, she used a lock pick to start the car's ignition, and motioned for Richard to put David in the trunk and get in (into the passenger seat, not the trunk).

They quickly sped down the road towards the mansion.

Richard lay the Uzi across his lap and looked at the vampire next to him. He pulled out the magizine and put the weapon and mag on the floor of the car. He couldn't believe it, he Richard Starbuck, a respected police officer riding in a stolen car. He chuckled a little bit. There is a first time for everything. He looked at the speedometer, then at the road.

"Slow down now."

Lujza looked at him and complied. They drove past a small patch of trees, sitting there was a police car. Richard made sure they were far enough down the road before he motioned to Lujza she could speed up.

"I'll watch the road for police officers. You can handle your kind."

He smiled at her. He was begining to really trust the vampire.

Lujza continued driving. The wind whipped her hair to and fro, as she was driving an insane speed. She was a highly skilled but terrifiying driver. Remembering a funny phrase in english, she said "Now we've really got junk in the trunk."

Before long, they were within sight of the mansion.

Richard couldn't relax during the car ride. He gripped the seat tightly as Lujza took it around tight bends that should be made no faster than 30mph. He didn't bother asking her to slow down, he was too busy making sure his seat belt was on tight enough.

When he spotted the mansion, his heart rate picked up. He sat quietly as they neared the entrance. Richard was very unsure of what he was suppose to do when they got there. He thought it best to ask Lujza on what to do, considering she was a vampire.

"Lujza, what do you want me to do when we pull in?"

Lujza parked the car near (but not too near) the mansion before she answered Richard's question. "Act very subserviant, like a house pet. Key word being 'act'." She popped the trunk and helped Richard remove the still unconcious David, dumping him uncermoniously on the ground.

Richard nodded and picked up David. He slung him over his shoulder and followed Lujza. He hung back a few feet from her, he didn't say a word as they approached the manison. A vampire on duty watched the pair approached. He quickly reconized Lujza, but the human was a mystery. He walked up towards her, his MP5K cocked and ready.

"What is the deal with the human trailing after you?"
Callisdrun
09-11-2004, 23:30
"Oh, he's just a new pet. Nothing to worry about, fully under my control." Lujza said all this casually, and she had the kind of manner about her that made it very convincing.

The vampire examined Lujza, if she wanted to keep the human as a pet, that was fine with him. He didn't like the look of Richard, but he guessed it would be alright. He lowered his MP5k. He opened the gate to the courtyard.

"Alright, keep an eye on him."

When the pair had moved inside the vampire closed the gate. Richard sighed a little, he had made it in. Then heh remembered the mansion was full of vampires, that cut back on his morale a bit, but he trust Lujza to do the talking for him. His heart went at a quick pace as they neared the doors to the mansion.
