OOC: My policy on who I Role Play with

Okay, when I tried to start a new RP and the people who had agreed to be in it didn't post, and I asked why, it seems they thought they weren't allowed in the RP. Further research revealed that a large majority of NSers (at least a large majority of those I asked) seem to think I'm an arrogant jackass who only let an extremely small minority of players RP with me and that anybody who tries to enter an RP of mine will be yelled at OOC'ly and invaded IC'ly. While I do not contest that I am an arrogant jackass, talking to me for five minutes will easily reveal that, my RP policy is just a big misunderstanding. I will gladly RP with you (provided you can SPELL) as long as it is not a closed RP.

The end part is things people always seem to miss, when it is a closed RP it is a closed RP, a private party if you will. That is when I will yell at you like an idiot and boot you out of the thread, and even then I'll only do the yelling when I've gone over the 'this is CLOSED' thing many times.

If it is an open RP then feel free to enter (Again, provided you can SPELL) and if you want to start an RP with me I'll be glad to join. I'm not as big of jackass as I seem (Well, at least I hope not), it's just that when it's private I'd like it to be kept private.

I hope I've cleared up some misconceptions. Everybody have a nice day!

Oh, and one more time: Spell correctly if you want to RP with me!

it's quite amusing that you say you'll RP with anyone but you demand they need to spell properly. Not everyone has the benefit of a proper english education or is only just learning english so they're really not that good at it.

If you wanna shake the arrogent arsehole title then maybe reconsider what you demand of people who choose to RP with you....

But that bein said I guess it doesnt matter, freeform dictates what we can and can not expect so by all means continue as you do. :P

I believe he's a addressing the issue of typing skills, not a grasp of the English language.

I know many people my age (13) who are barely capable or incapable of proper typing skills because of internet shorthand messages such as "lol" and "omg".

Klonor... Calm down... Everyone's just pissed off about you having a big reputation, nothing more.

Wow, people have really missed my point. I was referring more to how people so often refer to me yelling "Get out of my thread! Don't post here! You're not wanted!"

The spelling thing was just a sidenote

The spelling thing was just a sidenoteWell, when you overemphasis something, it is bound to face the global test. In any case, I don't see anything wrong with someone taking it upon themselves to enforce common sense.
