The Past reaching for the Future

Rezo

The Realm

The scream was painful, loud, a shriek in the ears of those standing nearby. Yet, they were merely... Amused by the Mazoku's pain.. Pain mixed with joy, though, as it merged with the formerly wooden hull of the ship.

Xellos watched, observed the proceedings. With Rezo being away, he was the one organising things... A smile crossed his lips as he watched the process continuing... Successful. It was about time, considering the endless failures they had suffered...

He chuckled a little as he noticed someone behind a bush, not to far from him. For now, he would let them alive.

And then he could hear them.

I'm so hungryyyyyyyyyy...

A few days later

"Now, that worked."

Xellos watched the three large vessels standing on the... Well, on the ground. While certainly being ships, they weren't supposed to travel the seas... Weöll, at least not the ones on earth.

"I just hope his translation of the spell works... Now, that he is undead, he tends to confuse things, occasionally..."

He sighed, knowing that it was inevitable. To serve his purpose, he would have to work with Rezo. Well... He would see. For now...

"You, come with me, we're going to test it."

For a moment, nobody moved.

A long moment.

Several minutes.

Slowly, Xellos opened his eyes. A moment later, several dozen men jumped up, a few falling down as they ran towards the ships, the Shabranigdo being the largest one, almost eighty meters long.

Well, that worked.

And whistling, he entered the Shabranigdo, himself, curious as of the things he would soon find, out there... Perhaps it would even be amusing.

A few kilometers away, in a nearby village, a small group of people was feasting, looking curiously at the sky as the three ships left the ground, ascending, slowly their (slightly rotten) shape rising higher.

"They will crash."

"You're betting the bill on it?"
