I'm Leaving, But No One Cares

This isn't a guilt trip, and if it comes across as one, I apologise. I'm leaving NS now, after playing the game 1 1/2 years. There's no more point in me playing this game if almost every single player is not going to RP with me. Many of you think I am a godmodder, and at one time I was, but people can change a lot over 1 1/2 years and I know I have but you refuse to give me a chance and so I'm just going to go ahead and leave, if it'll make you lot of assholes happy. And some of you have been nice to me, you really have. I really appreciate that, and I appreciate your support and your advice. But I cannot take the constant talking behind my back, all the insults and discouragement that I recieve. And I'm sorry for ranting on like this, but really it's all I have left because my nation has been taken away from me ICly by a group of people who steal other people's ideas and base their nations on them. I at least have attempted to be as original as possible with my nation. And I also understand that not everything goes according to plan in Free Form Roleplay. I understand that part of my actions contributed to this, but I don't understand that just because I am not as knowledgable about the subtlties of Byzantine politics or the complex theorms of physics is a reason I should be discriminated against. I'm young and not as well-versed as most of the RPer's here and I try my best to be coherent and consisitent and a well-rounded RPer, even though when I started playing the game I didn't really care. But by the time I did care, it didn't really matter, because too many of you thought I was a bufoon. And perhaps I am a bufoon for RPing with you people. Thank you all from the pit of my burning, naseous stomach. Thank for your priceless advice. Thank you for the expierence of playing this game. Goodbye and curses to all of you, my"friends."

Yanno, there's a brand new crop of players here - happens alot - and there's nothing anyone can do to your nation without your say so... so... how about chucking those who stomped on you, and getting with some of the newer players, and get on with the role playing?

Can't hurt now, can it?

He's got a point. You're judging more people than you should be. Maybe if you changed your crowd that you hang out with, maybe you might find it better than committing virtual suicide...

In the end, there's no one to blame but yourself.

On a lighter note, if you do decide to stay on NS, feel free to contact me if you wish to do character RPs. I know plenty of people who are friendly, fair, and fun to talk/RP with. Many of us are located in 'Fatal Terrain'. Many are not.

The ball's in your court once again. You going to foul it?

carlemnaria has no objection to rollplaying immortal on immortal as long as the objective of doing so is not to simulate the causing of virtual harm.

i don't recall ever refusing to rollplay with kristatata, mostly as i don't recall ever having previous to this thread heard of you.

carlemnaria is post petrolium, post monetary and post warring states. we happen to think war is boring and alternative infrastructure and sustainable, high tek, creatively gratifying, ecotopian living is fun.

and will gladly roll play with anyone, or attempt to, in THAT kind of a context. (it is only because we don't often come accross others willing or interested in doing so that we haven't participted in roll play more often ourselves)
