'DNNN Breaking News' flashes onscreen
"It is believed that within the last hour the former heir to the Draconian throne, Prince Kurt has been executed for treason. The prince was arrested when he led an attack on Lord Azazel's Midsummer Nights Ball in which several palace staff were killed. Lord Azazel has always maintained that his grandson would be made an example of against anyone wishing to overthrow him. We will have more news as this is confirmed."
Normal broadcasting is resumed.

“It has been confirmed by Lord Azazel that former heir to the throne, Prince Kurt has indeed been executed. In a statement released to the public, Lord Azazel hopes that this execution will serve notice to the terrorist organisation, ‘The Nordic Marauders’ that they will be dealt with as swiftly as possible.”

In a shock announcement, the God Thor has made it known that he has quit the Asgard and his duties as a God in protest at his father’s handling of the former heir, Prince Kurt’s execution. He has made in known that Odin’s reluctance to stand in to save Prince Kurt’s life has angered him greatly. According to Thor’s PR manager, Emily Silvercelt, the God of Thunder was a close friend of the prince and that Odin’s deal with the fates was nothing more then pure bullshit.
We will bring you an update later in the evening with a reaction from Odin on his son’s resignation.
