Released today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a codified list of all nations that have embassies and other diplomatic missions within the Free Republic Included are also nations that host embassies from the Free Republic and some general guidelines for Vaadian diplomacy and diplomatic norms.

Nations that receive embassies almost always receive trade and travel permission. Citizens of all nations wishing to enter Ilek-Vaad must receive Visas from a Vaadian Embassy, with the exception of Kelanis and Terra Malus*.
Nations that are higher up on these lists are regarded more favourably than nations lower down.

The Free Republic is very choosy about embassies and diplomatic relations, it is usually a long involved process to go from a diplomatic or trade mission to full fledged embassy.

All of the nations on these lists are considered friends of the Free Republic. Keep in mind that though you may be a friend, the Free Republic does not support the negative actions of it's friends and in many cases will act against them.The Free Republic NEVER supports wrong actions. The Free Republic supports and maintains relations with mostly democratic or semi-democratic nations.

Nations wishing to open diplomatic relations should contact the Minister of Foreign Affairs.


* Kelanis shares a border with Ilek-Vaad and very good relations. There are no trade,travel or diplomatic restrictions with Kelanis, Kelanis is the only nation that may trade with the Free Republic with no restrictions.

Terra Malus is the only nation other than Kelanis that is approved to trade military goods as well as having no travel restrictions. Regular trade tariffs and sanctions apply.
