The PSN Firestorm sat in the darkness of space. Her paint reflecting the near by star's rays off in all directions. Quietly her engines began to power up with the faint blue glow as she began to move forward before the beautifully disturbing transparent green bubble of the space fold drive began to form around it. In that second the ship "blinked" out of existence and "blinked" back in several light years away at another star.
On the bridge Echo sighed as she looked out the main view port. She had been dragged along for almost two months now as they stomped at each star along the way to collect plasma samples for the research on new plasma weaponry. "What's wrong ma'am?" Captain Redfeild asked her as he saw ehr sighing. "It's just all we are doing is collecting plasma. Any X-101 could have been sent to collect plasma but why the Firestorm? This is a capital ship not a simple science unit," she replied as she started to walk towards the elevator at the back of the bridge.

mean wile on the other side of the system the UFS Republic dropped out of warp i gliding in slowly to the center of the system . on ship --
Rob sat back in the captain chair signing looking around at his fellow officers working on ship systems , he said "damn it was hard shaking those things... we have half a quadrant chasseing us now " his xo chuckled and said "yeah we swiped that thing from right under there noses" con mean wile was scanning the system and picked up a ship the officer looked over and said " sir were picking up another vessel in the area" rob "on screen" the con officer put it up on screen

rob looked at it kind of confused and said " can we hail them ?" Ops said "our com array is still a bit damaged from the ethical storm but i think we can.
Rob then said "all right hail them" ops taped a few buttons and opened a channel rob said " Senior fleet admiral Robert bastidas of the UFS republic .. do you require assistance?" the com cuts rob sat back and waited wondering what was to come

"Sir we're being hailed by a ship!" the com officer exclaimed when the sensors registered the hail. "Lets hear it," captain Redfeild said as he listened. "Turn the ship to face them and prepare to scramble fighters. Have the Theta Strikers on the catapults and have all personnel on level 3 battle stations." At that point the bridge crew began to work faster. Outside the ship turned to face the direction of the UFS Republic and shifted into it's cannons firing mode. "This is the PSN Firestorm capital ship of the Phalanix fleet. State your intentions," was the reply.
Several seconds later Echo was back on the bridge. "What the hell is going on?" she asked before looking out the window to see the UFS Republic's form against the blackness of space.

"Sir we're being hailed by a ship!" the com officer exclaimed when the sensors registered the hail. "Lets hear it," captain Redfeild said as he listened. Rob replied” don’t be alarmed we were only passing though .. we come in peace . its nice to meet you “ he sighed sitting back and said “do you have visual communication devices? If you do it would be much easier to talk that way “ he looked around

"Turn on the holo-pad," Redfield said to his ops officer. A second later the pad flickered to life and a holo-cam in the corner of the room began sending the video fed from the bridge to the UFS Republic's viewscreen. "Is that better?" he asked.

Rob nodded a young man with a shaved look quite handsome tall skinny yet strong he said “that’s better now discussing business may we be of assistance to you also .i would like to meet you in person so that we may talk diplomatically over this event“ he scratched his head a bit he went back to his chair and sat down looking at his other officers

"All right then. Would you like to come here or should I have a dropship bring myself and..." he said before Echo cut in and steped into the holo-cam's line of sight "I'm sorry about the captain but I'm Echo Maxwell. President of Phalanix. And you are?" The captian now rather annoyed by Echo's interuption smirked and did a hand sign for the weapons officer to shift the PSN Firestorm back to it's cruiser form clsoing the four massive cannons.

"All right then. Rob looked a bit surprised and said" my names Robert bastidas the leader of the UFP/TFU its very nice to meet you " he smiles mean wile his crew was working in the back round rushing around doing things

"As Capitain Redfeild was saying. Would you like to meet? If you like you can come aboard the Firestorm or I can take a small fighter over to your ship," Echo says as behind her two Elites in there standard jet black armor steped off the lift to the bridge and almost insantly blended in with the shadows disturbing the crew slightly.

Rob "ill be over there in a second" he smiled . and said "energize" he shimmered over to the other ships bridge in an instant " there we go now we were discussing ? "

As soon as Rob transported over the two elites in the shadows cocked, shouldered and had there safties off within only seconds and aimed at Rob. "Stand down," Echo told them as they lowered there rifles slowly not entirely trusting. "I'm not enterly to sure," Echo then said answering his question with a laugh.

Rob looked over and smiled shyly "so uhem "" its nice to meet you " he holds out his hand wondering "were do you come from ?"

"I'm come from Phalanix. The two in the back," she points to the two Elites now almost invisable in the shadows again, "Are form our colony planet Reach."

Rob said "ahh you must be new to the intera galactic seen welcome .." "not to be pushy but is there some place we can sit and talk?" he smiled

"Actualy we are fairly old in it. We just keep to the shadows. You might have picked up some of our Shadow Hawk fighers scouting in your territory some times. And yes fallow me to the conference room," she said as she started to walk to another door on the bridge closely fallowed by the two imposing elites.

Rob fallowed them looking around “nice ship you have here” he said smiling and a bit tiredly he then said “ I look forward to making out a treaty of some sort …

"Well you'd be surprised that this ship is about fourty years old. It's been refitted twice. Once to upgrade the weapons and fighter bays and the second to add the four massive cannons you saw before. But this ship has nothing on the PSN Nemesis. Now that ship is still in the beta phases and it has exceeded the Firestorm greatly. And it would be nice to work out some treaty," she said as they stepped into a room with a beautiful polished oak table with several ashtrays on it. Each of them held a cigar that wasn't lit and in the corner of the room was a cabinet with crystal bottles with amber fluids in them.

Rob graceful smiled and took a seat in a chair looked around and said "well before we get down to business we should get to know each other bit "
