The forming of the Chaos Union

((Okay this is just an open RP maybe to form some alliances, trade proposals...maybe even enemies who knows! But yea basically just an excuse to RP, have fun! This is not a bash at the UN or anybody else by the way. No plotting or terrorist acts!))

The Chaos Union. A dream come true for some, for others their worst nightmare. It happened quietly, a select few nations joining togeather to protect the rights of its rulers. Unhindered by the laws of the UN, the Chaos Union could do what they liked when they liked. A grand ball had been advertised in the Unions founder nation of Tonilooni. The nations ruler and the Unions supreme commander was to be the host. He had left his personal details behind when he set up the Union, he simply became a number, like all citizens in the Union must. He was known as Citizen Alpha. The invite had been an open one, to all who felt they wished to attend. UN members, rogue nations, dictators or presidents all alike, as they were given the oppertunity to attend.

Outside Citizen Alphas large mansion stood the owner himself. Flanked on either side by two of the Unions elite soldiers, he smiled at the assembling crowd. From a raised podium he stood in front of the grand double doors, waiting for the final preparations to be made, he would then make a small speech and the party could begin!

((So once five or so people RP there arrival we can get this show on the road! Also once he's made his speech you can still join, dont worry if your a little late.))
Sharadim

Dictator Shara, leader of the Armed Republic of Sharadim, member of the Chaos Union swaggered into the party, flanked by six huge guards dressed in the traditional robe of the desert people of Sharadim, each carrying a jewel encrusted but none the less brutal looking scimitar. Shara himself wore a headdress, a large billowing cape and a ceremonial top, which left his arms bear, letting all see the tatoo Sharadim's traditional protector, the desert dragon. He stood in the crowd looking around, waiting for the party to begin.

Dr.Grid Vincent Prime Minister of the Constitutional Monarchy of Maslawyia and Dean of the Royal Mosul University stood with four black suited men admiring his surroundings,"Men I expect you to be discrete in my security. We might be about to make some friends."

He slowly brushed a leaf away that had caught onto his Armani suit before stepping forward towards the ornate double doors.......

Zet Holymarsh leaned against a tall tree on the lawn of the mansion apart from where the bulk of the crowd was gathered. He was wearing a nice but unassuming suit. He was of medium build with the kind of forgettable face that you could talk to for a couple of hours, and then not remember what the guy looks like the next day.

He slowly exhaled a puff from his cigarrette and seemingly disinterestedly watched as the crowd continued to swell in anticipation of the opening speech.

ooc: NDA, eh? Pardon but I think all things considered, we need to clarify something here. This NDA posting nation has nothing whatsoever to do with the Non-Democratic Alliance, of which my nation is one of the three founding and ruling councilmembers.

Granted, I realize those letters can stand for many things, but there's enough folks in this forum who recognize our alliance that I thought I'd post here pointing that out. Link to our charter in my sig. I'm sorry for the interruption but yes, it is rp-related. And frankly, if you call a one line unqualified statement with smilies 'valid rp' and a pertinent clarification such as this not, I question your mindset and frame of reference anyway.

ooc: Urm, it is RP related, Nathi was just clearing up the fact that she and her freinds are the non-democratic alliance, and were merely distancing themselvesfrom anything that might by said by the nation "NDA".

((I don't see how but thats enough OOC arguing I'm just gonna start this thing.))

Citizen Alpha smiled at the assembeled world leaders. He raised his hands motioning for silence and their attention. Once he had both, he cleared his throat then leant forward towards the michrophone.
"Firstly I would like to thank you all for coming, this is a joyous occassion for all the free nations of the world. The Chaos Union, while may sound threatening, wants peace as much as any body. Just we are willing to go to more extreme measures to achieve peace. As the head of the Union, I invite you, our guests to enjoy our hospitalty. If you wish to speak with me, you will find me inside."
With that he grinned again and gave a low bow to his audience. With a loud trumpet fanfare from an unseen source the doors swang open and the crowd began filing in, followed by the joyous host.

Dr.Vincent quickly assembled his men around him forming a square cordon as he slowly moved towards Citizen Alpha,"Greetings."

After listening to the host's brief welcome, Zet carelessly tossed the butt of his cigarrette onto the ground and stood straight. He moved to join the cluster of people moving indoors, making mental notes of people's faces as he did so. As soon as he entered the entrance hall, his first order of business was to snatch a drink from a server moving among the guests.

The first Citizen of Tonilooni turned to greet his guest. He paused for a moment trying to place a name to the face before him. A nearby aide leaned and whispered in his ear and a grin spread across the Citizens face. He then took Vincent's hand and shook it warmly
"Ah the esteemed Dr. Vincent! It is an honour to recieve you! How may I help you? I trust that your great university is flourishing?"

Dr.Vincent smiled,"It is pleasing to see that for once a national leader know's about his guests work. Yes, the university is in great shape. I must say this is quite a shindig! The Chaos Union is an ingenius idea. However, I must ask when do you think we will get to the serious part of the idea discussing its goals?"

Dr.Vincent paused as his men surveyed the room and some of the ladies at the same time.......

He chuckled and picked up two glasses of champane from a passing waiter. He handed one to the Dr then took a drink from his own.
"Yes I feel it is important to know about other cultures, I do not mean to imply anything but as the aincent scholar Sun Tzu said 'To know yourself you must know your enemies' et cetera, et cetera. As of now the Union has no goals, you must understand that the nations in it are all fairly small, we are seeking to establish a foothold at the moment. But our main doctrine ,if you like, is to protect a nations right to participate in any excercise that in likes with-in its own borders. Such as; I'm guessing that your own country is quite scientific or so I have been lead to believe. I myself have a keen intrest in science, I don't claim to know its own intricate workings but anything to further the cause you know? Soon I will be passing a law to allow human cloning, this may sound unethical but I believe that in the long run it will benefit my nation. Now this sort of practice would be frowned apon by some, but this is the prime goal of the Union, to protect a nations interest in what ever it feels. Understand what I'm getting at here? Of course those who would see this cloning as unethical, I'm sure that when they have cancer then I'm sure they will see it in a new light."
He took another sip of his champane, watching the Dr carefully.

Dr.Vincent cradled the glass of champagne in his hand, not really his drink of choice,"Science is important to my nation but even more so is economics. I must say I agree with your doctrine wholeheartedly. Recently, we had a terrorist groups base themselves in our nation without our knowledge. Because of this a nation decided to wage war against us as we refused to deal with the terrorists until we saw fit and proper. We already had a plan made to deal with them on our own time scale we were not willing to work according to others time plans."

He looked down and then back up to meet Citizen Alpha's gaze,"We are a smart people if we had not been able to curb the war as soon as we did then many more would have perished. We need good allies."

He gave the champagne to one of his guards and muttered to his guard in Arabic,"Make sure Cedric is not drinking,"before turning back to Citizen Alpha.....

The host shrugged giving out a sigh.
"It is a slippery slope, one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Thankfully I have been able to keep my nation free of war and terrorists, hopefully it will stay that way. Perhaps our two nations could discuss a mutual benefit act? Of course if that is not on your agenda we can talk of less formal things."

A tall man with a dark complexion moves towards the conversation.
His long dark purple velvet robes just brushing the ground.
Bowing low before the two men, he spoke in a deep voice, the kind that could put fear into any man.
"May Nyarlathotep bring you greetings from Azathoth. The mindless power and god of all.
May I introduce myself. I am the High Reverend A. Jermain of the nation known only as The Mythos"
Once again standing tall the man looked at the pair expectantly.
"May I say it was rather surprising to hear of those who would accept the accusedly extreem radicle ideology and theology of our Holy Empire."

"Greetings Reverand. I'm not familiar with The Mythos' ideollgy. Please educate me briefly."

"The mindless mass that is Azathoth has power over all. In respect all worshippers must admit their inferiority and surrender to the utter wisdom and knowledge of the church, who knows what's best for its people in respect to our beliefs. Crime is not tollerated, everybody works for the good of the nation and for the church. We do not tollerate foreigners or non-believers in our lands, tho do not argue with embassies or contact if it suits and/or agrees with our religious views."
With this the reverend makes a strange, small gesture with his hand and nods his head.
"We have had run ins with a number of international authorities claiming that our social set up and religious practices are unethicle and inhumain. Here, however," looking around the room, "it would appear not to be the case."
"We do have a need of support in many forms..."

The Reverend turns to veiw the specticle.
"My my, such an entrance as of one who seeks recognition. Be careful friend, for Yog-Sothoth is always watching. It may not be wise to be so vein...
but greetings."
After a brief introduction he turns back to the suited Dr.
"Everything has its cause. My friend, you have the technology and we have the reason. A combination may give us each the means to earn wider recognition from other nations on this world. Im sure the citizen here would agree that working together may be beneficial to the Chaos Union as a whole. However, continued dis-co-operation leads but to war and is followed only by the feeding of the Shudde M'ell and possible awakening of Cthulhu. Please do not allow us to let this happen. Peace brings developement, as i am sure you are aware and keen on, and allows to the enlightenment of those who are damned to be smitten."

Dr.Vincent smirked,"To be sure peace is something that we are glad to have. However, do not for an instance attempt to bring your language and jargon of your god before our people because that is not the way to bring us together. Our only alliance is this union and that the only reason we are willing to work together."

Meanwhile, two of Dr.Vincent's guards had each drawn out a Beretta and aimed it at the ambassador from the Forgetful Forest having been surprised by his entrance.

the high dervish casts a glance at the heavens at the mention of Cthulhu for the great serpant is not unknown to his people

"i see no reason to dismiss the views of others! when it comes to forging aliances shorley it is good that each posesses what another lacks"

"further more we see no reason to threaten the delegations with anctient evils that mean nothing to their scientific brains. we can offer you entertainment and hospitality and seek to promote tourism to our area. if this is of no use to you then propose something that is!"

With a nervous grin the host stepped in the middle of the three parties. Various guards around the room tensed nervously.
"Gentlemen please, Reverand, perhaps you can entertain our guests from the Forest, as you seem to have something of a common ground on the subjects of your religion. Then perhaps the good doctor and myself can have a moment to talk, then I can talk things over with you both. How does that sound?"

Neron tried sipping from the champagne glasses as everyone else had, but taking small sips of such a weak drink was something he could not endure. In his home nation, hot, spiced wine was the drink of choice among the peoples. But then again, his nation had many strange customs. It was these customs and rituals that his distant ancestor refused to honor. It led to the downfall of his people. Power had already been waning in the vast island nation for the past five hundred years- ending a dynasty of ten thousand, long before human civilization overtook the planet. He had at last thrown his kingdom into its fiery death. He mounted an expedition into the young kingdoms. He learned of the destiny of all life on all worlds, solved a massive and intricate puzzle that had opened a door, a door through which his species would make their exit into limbo, and their foes, the savage humans of the young kingdoms, would enter, into an age of flourishing power and blossoming prosperity.

After a century more, the first of the "demon kings" died, his name carved into stone as the man who had destroyed his nation. Now, after three more emperors, all of them figureheads, frauds, fakes, the second demon king ruled. Though he had done nothing to deserve the title but be born a pale albino, he was new demon anyway. However, with the demon king before him, it was an insult. To this emperor, this keen warrior, who was filled so much with the honorable and subtle brutality of his people, who was drained of morality and compassion- the title was one of fearful respect, used by his subjects to emphasize his shadowy majesty and by his enemies to describe his warskill, his bloodthirst and the subtle, controlled, experienced manner in which he directed the rage, the raw savagery. He fought like a demon, and he ruled like one, too. But he was not an evil man. He was a man of his own species, and his was a species capable of guilt and sorrow and pain, but not capable of man's fatal evolutionary flaw: morality. Ethics.

It was rooted deep in his arcane and sacred traditions that sacrifice, bloodshed, the subjugation of lesserborn, were all important in achieving good fortune. It was not religious. It was simply how things were done. And such customs had to be protected from this modern world... they had to be shielded from the armies of those who would go so far as to kill in order to stop the tradition, dishonor the sacred practices. And he had to remember that his nation was not one of its former glory. It was a miniscule nation, and a nation in shambles, waiting to be rebuilt. The demon had taken the throne, despite years of revolution to stop him from doing so. And now he was ensuring that his kingdom would be returned to exaltation and maybe even become the great powerful land it was before. This was the right time to take action. But the lord emperor was unsure if this was the right place to start.

"Very well."
After an acknowledging nod to the doctor, Rev. Jermain turns to address the Dervish.
"Sir, i am impressed by your asthetic style and your concern. They may not understand the true relevence of what i have to say, but it is my duty to let them know."
He gives a quick glance over his shoulder
"They are so unaware of the powers that be... I almost feel sorry for them."
Turns bak to the Dervish
"We thank you for your proposals. Though i fear we cannot accept them. Our time is devoted to Azathoth and as such have little use of 'entertainment' as you put it.
On the subject of tourism, we would be willing an exchange or visitation of ambassidors or such so as our nations may become more aquainted.
I saw your reaction to my fears of war and its conciquences, im assuming you understand my troubled mind.
well, lets see what we can make of this Union then..."
Looking around, he notices the pale figure toying with his glass.
"If you'll excuse me..."
The reverend turns and makes his way across towards the figure. Whilst also taking note of others around the room.

"We wish to speak of the planned actions of the Union. Is it not time once again for everybody to be addressed and voice their views..."
